Companies Using Oracle Cloud

We detect Oracle Cloud on 265 domains. That number is far smaller than you might expect for one of the largest enterprise software companies in the world, and the reason is worth stating before anything else on this page.

Oracle Cloud is identified by a single signal: a page loading an asset from an oraclecloud.com address. That catches sites serving files, forms or embedded applications out of Oracle's cloud. It cannot see the products Oracle is actually known for. Oracle Database, Fusion ERP, NetSuite, Autonomous Database and OCI compute all run behind the customer's own domain or inside a private network, and a web crawl has no way to observe them. Treat 265 as a floor on one narrow deployment pattern, not as Oracle's install base and not as cloud market share.

This page previously published 162,674 domains. That figure was carried over from an earlier measurement we can no longer reproduce, and we have replaced it rather than restate it. What follows is what we can actually see, along with what the shape of it suggests.

Oracle Cloud Usage Statistics

We hold a single observation for Oracle Cloud: 265 active domains in August 2026, out of 266 seen in total. There is no trend line here and we would rather show one honest point than imply a history we cannot stand behind.

What the single point does support is confidence in the reading itself. Detections and scans agree at a ratio of 1.00, meaning every domain we saw once we saw every time we looked. The signal is narrow, but within its narrow scope it is completely stable.

List of Companies Using Oracle Cloud

The list of companies using Oracle Cloud below is small but unusually blue-chip: Costco, Macy's, Cardinal Health, Motorola Solutions, O'Reilly Auto Parts, Air Products, Akamai, Atlantic Health System and the US National Cancer Institute all appear, alongside Samsonite, Digital Realty, Sherwin-Williams, Razer, BISSELL, the Saudi Food and Drug Authority and Dubai World Trade Centre.

These are organisations whose public pages load something served from Oracle's cloud. Many more Oracle customers exist that this method cannot reach, because running Oracle Database or Fusion ERP leaves no public web trace at all. Read this as a confirmed subset, never as a complete list.

Which Countries Use Oracle Cloud the Most?

The United States leads with 76 domains (46.34%), followed by Brazil on 19 (11.59%), then the United Kingdom and India on 10 each, Italy on 9 and Spain on 8. Percentages are computed over the 164 Oracle Cloud domains where we hold a country.

Brazil placing second, well ahead of every European market, is the most distinctive thing in this distribution and it is consistent with Oracle's long-established enterprise presence in Latin America. At these counts individual figures move easily, so read the ordering rather than the percentages.

Share of the 169 Oracle Cloud domains we matched to a company record — 63.8% of the 265 we detect. Top 15 countries shown, so these do not sum to 100%. Domains with no matching company record are not represented here and skew small and independent.

Oracle Cloud Market Share Among Cloud / IaaS

Oracle Cloud sits tenth of 19 in our Cloud Infrastructure category at 0.03%, behind Amazon S3 (86.13%), DigitalOcean Spaces (5.44%) and Google Cloud Storage (3.43%).

Do not read that as Oracle's share of the cloud market. It is not close, and the gap is a measurement artifact rather than a business fact. Oracle is a top-five cloud vendor by revenue; it places tenth here because this category ranks technologies by how visible they are to a web crawler, and Oracle's cloud business is the least web-visible of the majors. S3 is detected partly through any asset URL pointing at it, an extremely wide net. Oracle Cloud is detected through one narrow one. The ranking measures observability, not adoption.

Oracle Cloud Customers by Company Size & Age

This is the most enterprise-weighted distribution we publish. 23.75% of enriched Oracle Cloud domains belong to companies with more than 1,000 staff and only 40.62% to companies under 50, across the 160 domains where we hold a size band.

The contrast with everything else in this part of our data is stark. Above 1,000 staff: CloudFront 3.90%, S3 2.34%, Vercel 0.89%, Netlify 0.79%. Oracle Cloud is roughly thirty times more enterprise-weighted than the deployment platforms. The count is a floor, but the shape is the point: the sliver of Oracle Cloud we can see looks exactly like Oracle's known customer base rather than like a random sample of the web.

What Industries Use Oracle Cloud the Most?

Retail leads at 10.83%, followed by Hospitals and Health Care (5.10%), Computers and Electronics Manufacturing (4.46%) and Chemical Manufacturing (4.46%), across 157 domains carrying an industry label.

The striking feature is how much manufacturing there is. Four of the top ten categories are manufacturing of some kind, and together with Wholesale and Government Administration they describe an industrial, asset-heavy customer base. That is the opposite of the software-and-agency mix that leads every deployment platform in our data. At n=157 the individual percentages are soft, but the overall composition is unmistakable.

Oracle Cloud Alternatives & Competitors

In our Cloud Infrastructure category Oracle Cloud is tenth of 19 at 0.03%, behind Amazon S3 (86.13%), DigitalOcean Spaces (5.44%), Google Cloud Storage (3.43%) and Alibaba Cloud (2.45%).

That table is not a cloud market ranking and we would not defend it as one. Every entry is detected by a rule of different strictness, and Oracle's is the narrowest of the group. A meaningful comparison of Oracle against AWS, Azure or Google Cloud would have to come from spending or capacity data, which is not what this site measures. What we can say is where each vendor's footprint is publicly visible, and Oracle's is visible least.

Oracle Cloud Customer Migration

There is almost nothing here, and we are showing it rather than hiding it. Across every competitor we track, ten domains arrived at Oracle Cloud and three left, out of a base of 265. Seven of the arrivals had previously run Amazon S3.

At these volumes no direction of travel can be inferred. Six domains in total have ever been observed dropping Oracle Cloud since we began watching it, which is too few to describe as churn. Treat this section as an indication that the population is stable and small, not as evidence about who is winning.

Tech Stack of Oracle Cloud-Powered Websites

Oracle Cloud domains run a conventional and somewhat traditional web stack. Google Tag Manager (80.50%) and Google Analytics (78.37%) lead, both higher than on any other profile in this group, and jQuery reaches 64.89% against Bootstrap's 35.46%, with no modern CSS framework in the top ten at all. That is the signature of long-lived corporate estates rather than recently built sites, and it matches the age distribution.

Two entries stand out. Cloudflare appears on 50.35%, so half of these organisations put another vendor's edge in front of Oracle-served assets. Akamai Bot Manager appears on 19.15%, a piece of enterprise security tooling that barely registers on the rest of our infrastructure profiles and reinforces how large these customers are.

Oracle Cloud Customer Reviews with Pros and Cons

Oracle's G2 reviews for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure consistently praise price-performance against AWS and Azure for compute and database workloads, and consistently criticise console usability and the learning curve. Those reviews describe the compute and database services that our detection cannot observe, so treat them as evidence about the product and the detections on this page as evidence about one narrow deployment pattern. They are answering different questions.

Generated from real user reviews on G2

Pros
  • Cost-effective pricing compared to AWS and Azure for compute workloads(89 reviews)
  • Reliable performance and low latency for database-intensive applications(67 reviews)
  • Strong integration with Oracle Database and enterprise applications(54 reviews)
Cons
  • User interface feels outdated and less intuitive than competitors(72 reviews)
  • Smaller ecosystem of third-party tools and community resources(48 reviews)
  • Complex onboarding and documentation gaps for new users(41 reviews)

Expert Analysis: Oracle Cloud Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

Mehmet Suleyman
Mehmet SuleymanCEO & Co-founder, TechnologyChecker

Oracle Cloud is the hardest profile on this site to report honestly, so I want to be direct about what our 265 detected domains are and are not. They are not a measure of Oracle's cloud business. They are the subset of Oracle Cloud deployments that happen to be visible from outside, and that subset is small for a structural reason rather than a commercial one.

1. Why the number is this small

Oracle Cloud is detected by exactly one signal: a page loading an asset from an oraclecloud.com address. That finds sites serving files, forms or embedded applications out of Oracle's cloud, and nothing else. Oracle's flagship products are invisible to this method by design. A company running Oracle Database, Fusion ERP, NetSuite or Autonomous Database serves its own website from its own domain; the Oracle software sits behind it, often entirely inside a private network. No web crawl can see it, ours included.

This is the same structural limit we describe on our Okta profile, where workforce single sign-on lives on vendor-hosted tenants the crawl cannot reach. The count is a floor. The correct way to use it is as a confirmed subset, never as a total.

"We replaced a number more than six hundred times larger than this one. That is not a small correction and it deserves saying out loud rather than quietly restating. A published figure we cannot reproduce is worse than a small figure we can." - Mehmet Suleyman, CEO at TechnologyChecker.io

2. The shape is worth more than the size

Here is why this page is still worth publishing. 23.75% of enriched Oracle Cloud domains belong to organisations with more than 1,000 staff. The comparable figures are 3.90% for CloudFront, 2.34% for Amazon S3, 0.89% for Vercel and 0.79% for Netlify. On company age, 27.35% predate 1960 against Netlify's 1.74%, and only 5.13% were founded in the 2020s.

A narrow signal that returned a random slice of the web would not look like this. It would look flat, the way our AWS and S3 industry tables do. Instead it returns old, large, industrial organisations, which is precisely the customer base Oracle is understood to have. The sample is small and it is not random, but it is recognisably Oracle.

Sales Signal: Every confirmed name on this page is an enterprise account. There is no long tail of hobby projects to filter out, which is unusual and makes the short list unusually dense in qualified targets.

3. What we actually see

Retail leads the industry table at 10.83%, then Hospitals and Health Care at 5.10%. Four of the top ten categories are manufacturing. The named detections carry the same signature: Costco, Cardinal Health, Motorola Solutions, O'Reilly Auto Parts, Air Products, Akamai, Sherwin-Williams, Digital Realty, Samsonite, Razer and the US National Cancer Institute.

Geographically the United States is 46.34% and Brazil is second at 11.59%, ahead of every European market, which is consistent with Oracle's long-standing Latin American enterprise presence.

4. The wider Oracle footprint, and a large caveat inside it

Oracle Cloud is one of fourteen Oracle products we can detect. Taken together they appear on 4,095 distinct domains. That is the most complete answer we can give to "how many sites show any Oracle technology", and it is still a floor for the same reason as above.

It also needs a warning. The two largest entries are Oracle BlueKai (828 domains) and Oracle Moat (766), which together are 39% of that total. Both belonged to Oracle Advertising, a business Oracle exited in 2024, taking no new contracts from 17 June and completing existing orders by 30 September that year. Those detections are overwhelmingly abandoned tags left in pages nobody has cleaned up, not live customer relationships. Any roll-up of Oracle's web presence that does not subtract them is counting a discontinued product line.

Sales Signal: A site still carrying a BlueKai or Moat tag two years after shutdown is telling you something about how actively that marketing stack is maintained. It is a signal about the prospect, just not the one it appears to be.

5. What this page cannot answer

People arrive here looking for lists of companies using Oracle Database, Oracle ERP Cloud, Fusion CRM, E-Business Suite and SCM Cloud. We cannot produce those lists and neither can any crawl-based dataset, because none of those products leave a public trace on the customer's website. Anyone publishing a large list of "companies using Oracle ERP" assembled from web data is either inferring it from something else or guessing. We would rather say we cannot see it.

6. Key takeaways

1. 265 domains, detected by one narrow clause, and a floor rather than a total.

2. We previously published 162,674 here and have replaced it rather than restate it.

3. 23.75% of the enriched base is above 1,000 staff, roughly thirty times the deployment platforms.

4. 27.35% predate 1960, the oldest customer base in this part of our data.

5. Fourteen Oracle products together reach 4,095 domains, but 39% of that is two advertising products Oracle discontinued in 2024.

6. Oracle's database and ERP install base is structurally invisible to web detection.

7. Sales applications

Targeting strategy: Use this list for account confirmation rather than discovery. It is too short to prospect from, but every entry on it is a verified enterprise with an Oracle relationship visible from outside.

Where the volume is: If you need Oracle-adjacent reach at scale, the four manufacturing categories in the industry table describe the profile far better than the raw count does. Match on that shape rather than on this list.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who uses Oracle Cloud?

We detect Oracle Cloud on 265 domains, including Costco, Macysjobs, Cardinal Health, Inc.. A detection means the technology is present on that domain, which for large organisations is often a single storefront or subdomain rather than a company-wide deployment. Among domains we matched to a company with a resolved industry, the most common is Retail (10.83%).

How many customers does Oracle Cloud have?

We detect 265 domains running Oracle Cloud across our monthly crawl of live business domains. Company data could be matched for 169 of them (63.8%), and every company-size, industry and country breakdown on this page describes that matched subset rather than the full detected base. A further 6 domains carried a Oracle Cloud detection previously and no longer do.

What is Oracle Cloud's market share?

In our Cloud Infrastructure category Oracle Cloud ranks tenth of 19 at 0.03%. That figure measures how visible the platform is to a web crawler, not its share of cloud spending. Oracle is a top-five cloud vendor by revenue, and the gap between those two facts is the point: its business is the least web-observable of the major clouds.

What are the best alternatives to Oracle Cloud?

The top alternatives to Oracle Cloud include Amazon S3 (86.13% market share), DigitalOcean Spaces (5.44% market share), Google Cloud Storage (3.43% market share), Alibaba Cloud (2.45% market share) — measured as a share of the domains we detect running a platform in this category.

Which countries use Oracle Cloud the most?

The United States leads with 76 of the 164 domains where we hold a country, or 46.34%. Brazil is second at 11.59%, ahead of the United Kingdom and India on 10 domains each, then Italy and Spain. Brazil outranking every European market is the most distinctive feature of this distribution and reflects Oracle's long-established Latin American enterprise presence.

What size companies use Oracle Cloud?

The most common company size is 1-10 employees, representing 23.12% of the Oracle Cloud domains we could match to a company record and size — a subset of 169 matched companies, not of all 265 detected domains. This is followed by 11-50 employees (17.5%) and 51-200 employees (17.5%).

How old are companies that use Oracle Cloud?

Among the Oracle Cloud domains we could match to a company with a known founding date, the largest group was founded in the Pre-1960 (27.35%), followed by the 2010s (21.37%). That matched subset is drawn from 169 companies and is not representative of all 265 detected domains. This suggests Oracle Cloud is most popular among established companies.

What is the ideal customer profile for Oracle Cloud?

The ideal Oracle Cloud customer is: Best for: Large, established enterprises already standardised on Oracle software, Top industries: Retail, Healthcare, Chemical and Electronics Manufacturing, IT Services, Top countries: United States, Brazil, United Kingdom, India, Italy, Spain, Company size: 23.75% have over 1,000 staff, the most enterprise-weighted profile we publish, Founded: 27.35% predate 1960; only 5.13% were founded in the 2020s — based on our analysis of 169 enriched companies at TechnologyChecker.io.

How many companies use Oracle Cloud?

Our August 2026 crawl detects Oracle Cloud on 265 domains, of which 169 match a company record. That is a floor rather than a total. Oracle Cloud is detected only when a page loads an asset from an oraclecloud.com address, so customers running Oracle Database, Fusion ERP or OCI compute behind their own domain are invisible to this method entirely.

What companies use Oracle?

In our detections, Oracle Cloud appears on sites belonging to Costco, Macy's, Cardinal Health, Motorola Solutions, O'Reilly Auto Parts, Air Products, Akamai, Sherwin-Williams, Digital Realty, Samsonite, Razer, BISSELL and the US National Cancer Institute. Across all fourteen Oracle products we can detect, the footprint reaches 4,095 distinct domains. Oracle's true customer base is far larger and mostly not web-visible.

Can you give me a list of companies using Oracle Database or Oracle ERP?

No, and we would treat any such list assembled from web crawl data with suspicion. Oracle Database, Fusion ERP, E-Business Suite, SCM Cloud and NetSuite run behind the customer's own domain or inside private networks, leaving no public trace on the website. No crawler can observe them. What we can show is the narrower set of sites serving assets from Oracle's cloud.

Which big companies use Oracle Cloud?

Costco, Cardinal Health, Motorola Solutions, Air Products, Akamai Technologies, Sherwin-Williams, Digital Realty, Atlantic Health System, Signature Aviation and the US National Cancer Institute all appear in our detections, alongside international names including Samsonite, Dubai World Trade Centre, the Saudi Food and Drug Authority and Etihad Engineering. Every confirmed detection on this page is an established enterprise.

What kind of companies use Oracle Cloud?

Large and old ones. 23.75% of the Oracle Cloud domains we enrich belong to companies with over 1,000 staff, against 0.79% for Netlify and 0.89% for Vercel, and 27.35% of them were founded before 1960. Only 5.13% date from the 2020s. It is the most enterprise-weighted and the oldest customer profile we publish anywhere on this site.

What industries use Oracle Cloud most?

Retail leads at 10.83% of enriched Oracle Cloud domains, followed by Hospitals and Health Care at 5.10%, then Computers and Electronics Manufacturing and Chemical Manufacturing at 4.46% each. Four of the top ten categories are forms of manufacturing, which together with Wholesale and Government Administration describe an industrial, asset-heavy base rather than a software one.

Why is your Oracle Cloud number so much lower than it used to be?

This page previously published 162,674 domains. That figure came from an earlier measurement we can no longer reproduce, so we replaced it rather than restate it. The current 265 is what our own live crawl actually observes through the one signal Oracle Cloud exposes publicly. We would rather publish a small number we can stand behind than a large one we cannot.

Is Oracle Cloud cheaper than AWS?

Oracle positions OCI on price-performance and its published list prices for compute and egress undercut the equivalent AWS rates, with egress being the largest single gap. Review data on G2 consistently echoes the cost advantage for compute and database workloads. Actual savings depend heavily on committed-use discounts and workload shape, so treat vendor comparisons as a starting point rather than a quote.

What are the main disadvantages of Oracle Cloud?

Reviewers most often cite console usability, a steep learning curve, a smaller ecosystem of third-party tooling and integrations than AWS or Azure, and fewer engineers with existing OCI experience. Regional coverage is also thinner than the larger hyperscalers, which matters for latency-sensitive or data-residency-constrained workloads. The cost advantage is real but the surrounding ecosystem is materially smaller.

Is Oracle Cloud good for startups?

The data suggests it is not where startups go. Only 5.13% of the Oracle Cloud domains we enrich belong to companies founded in the 2020s, and 40.62% have under 50 staff, both far below the deployment platforms we track. Oracle does run a free tier and a startup programme, but the observed customer base is overwhelmingly large, established organisations.

What is Oracle Cloud used for?

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure provides compute, storage, networking and managed database services, and it is the platform beneath Oracle's own applications including Fusion ERP, NetSuite and Autonomous Database. The deployments we can detect are narrower: sites serving files, forms or embedded applications from Oracle-hosted addresses, which is a small slice of what the platform actually runs.

Is Oracle Cloud secure?

OCI provides tenant isolation at the network layer, customer-managed encryption keys, and compliance coverage including SOC, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI DSS and FedRAMP. Our detections offer indirect corroboration: the confirmed list includes the US National Cancer Institute, the Saudi Food and Drug Authority and several healthcare systems, all of which operate under demanding regulatory review.
