Companies Using Sectigo TrustLogo
Sectigo TrustLogo is the site seal Sectigo gives its certificate customers, and our October 2026 crawl finds it working on 2,134 live domains. The seal is a badge plus a script from secure.trust-provider.com. Click it and Sectigo's own page should show the site's certificate. On 15 October 2026 we asked that page about every domain carrying the script. For 2,284 of the 4,169 we could check it said no credentials exist, and 2,078 of those sites now run another CA's certificate, or none we could read, so they're out of every number here. Below is the list of companies that use Sectigo TrustLogo, with size, country and industry. It includes Romania's postal service Poșta Română, the Mumbai IT firm CMS Computers and Kenneth Copeland Ministries in Texas.
The seal dates from Comodo CA, which renamed itself Sectigo in 2018. On the cleaned count it ranks 6th of the 16 technologies we track in SSL/TLS Certificates, with 0.99%. The sites are small: 61.51% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 staff. And the seal is a thin slice of Sectigo's business. Only 1,316 of the 2,134 domains served a Sectigo-issued certificate when we connected.

Sectigo TrustLogo Usage Statistics
Sectigo TrustLogo reads 2,134 domains in October 2026. That's the only point on the chart, because the dead-seal test behind this count was run once, on 15 October 2026; our earlier monthly totals counted every TrustLogo script, working or not. They wouldn't compare cleanly anyway: the set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with dead sites dropping out and new ones added, and our detection signals widen over time. Since we began tracking the seal on 4 August 2026, 305 domains dropped it on at least one hostname. 79 of them still carry it on another, so 226 left entirely.

Which Countries Use Sectigo TrustLogo the Most?
Which countries use Sectigo TrustLogo the most? The United States, with 415 matched companies, then India (115), the United Kingdom and Argentina (79 each), Australia (66) and Canada (61). Argentina is the one to notice. It ties the UK and has more companies here than Germany (32), Brazil (27) or Spain (18), and the Argentine names with a live seal include Policía de Salta and the Instituto de Seguros de Jujuy. These counts cover the 1,347 domains we matched to a company.
Share of the 1,347 Sectigo TrustLogo domains we matched to a company record — 63.1% of the 2,134 we detect. Top 15 countries shown, so these do not sum to 100%. Domains with no matching company record are not represented here and skew small and independent.
Sectigo TrustLogo Market Share Among SSL/TLS Certificates
What is Sectigo TrustLogo's market share? 0.99% of SSL/TLS Certificates, 6th of the 16 technologies we track there, on 2,134 domains, based on our crawl at TechnologyChecker.io. The table isn't like-for-like. GlobalSign's 165,576 domains (76.87%) count a DNS record left behind when a domain was validated, not a badge. DigiCert's row (1,766 domains) has had the same dead-seal correction as this page. Our category table's GeoTrust (1,687) and Comodo SSL (1,560) rows count seal scripts without this correction, and GeoTrust's seal hostnames no longer resolve.

Sectigo TrustLogo Customers by Company Size & Age
What size companies use Sectigo TrustLogo? Small ones. 61.51% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 22.3% have 11 to 50, so 83.81% have 50 or fewer, out of 1,260 with a size on record. 21 have more than 1,000 staff, among them Poșta Română and Altrak 1978, the Indonesian heavy-equipment distributor. That fits a badge Sectigo gives away with its certificates.
Company Size Distribution
Company Age (Founded Decade)
The largest group of matched companies was founded in the 2010s (35.23%), then the 2000s (19.15%) and the 1990s (14.77%). Only 10.53% date from the 2020s, and 35.10% were founded before 2000. The oldest names on the list are Poșta Română (1862), Ateneo de Zamboanga University (1912) and Romblon State University (1915).
What Industries Use Sectigo TrustLogo the Most?
IT Services and IT Consulting leads at 6.55%, then Retail (5.83%) and Software Development (4.58%), based on our enriched company data. Add Technology, Information and Internet (2.51%) and LinkedIn's older Information Technology & Services label (1.71%), and IT companies make up 15.35%. No other industry passes 3%, and the top ten add up to 31.5%. The seal turns up wherever a small organisation asks visitors for details: universities, a hospital, government offices and shops all appear in the list below.
Universities using Sectigo TrustLogo are a cluster of their own: the University of Calicut, Romblon State University, Jagran Lakecity University on its admissions site and Ateneo de Zamboanga University on its student portal. Government bodies on Sectigo TrustLogo include Kenya's Public Procurement Regulatory Authority, the Lumajang regency in Indonesia and Policía de Salta. Hospitals using Sectigo TrustLogo include Riverside Medical Center in Bacolod, whose site carries the name Dr. Pablo O. Torre Memorial Hospital.
Sectigo TrustLogo Alternatives & Competitors
Sectigo TrustLogo's neighbours in this table count different things. GlobalSign (76.87%) counts a DNS record a domain kept after proving control to GlobalSign, so it measures validations, not badges; 30 domains carry both today. DigiCert (0.82%, 1,766 domains) is the only like-for-like row: a seal script, with the same dead-seal correction. GeoTrust (0.78%) and Comodo SSL (0.72%) are seal scripts too, counted without that correction, and GeoTrust's can't load any more because its seal hostnames no longer resolve, based on our tests at TechnologyChecker.io.

How We Counted Sectigo TrustLogo Customers
A domain counts here when a page on it loads Sectigo's TrustLogo script from secure.trust-provider.com. Our October 2026 crawl found the script on 4,237 live domains. Our for-sale and gambling filter removed 18, and a few more were expired domains serving copies of other stores' pages.
A script only shows that the badge is on the page, so we tested the seal itself. On 15 October 2026 we asked Sectigo's verification page, the one the seal opens, about every remaining domain, using the seal code from the page where we could read it and Sectigo's generic code otherwise. We also connected to each site and read who issued its certificate. 2,284 of the 4,169 seals we could check showed "credentials not available". We removed the 2,078 of those whose site served another CA's certificate, or one we couldn't read. The other 206 still serve a Sectigo certificate, so they stay in as Sectigo customers whose badge has broken. That leaves 2,134: 1,855 seals with live credentials, 30 that answer only under Sectigo's generic code, 206 broken seals on Sectigo certificates and 43 we couldn't test. Every chart and table on this page uses it.
Our earlier monthly totals counted every TrustLogo script, so the usage chart starts in October. The company list holds only domains whose seal answered with live credentials. 47 domains in the count are forwarding addresses of six companies, the largest with 16, so the count runs slightly ahead of the number of distinct sites. GeoTrust's seal hosts no longer resolve, which is why GeoTrust has no page here; the older Comodo-branded seal, loaded from secure.comodo.com, is counted in its own Comodo SSL row.
Expert Analysis: Sectigo TrustLogo Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

Sectigo TrustLogo is the badge Sectigo gives its certificate customers, and our October 2026 crawl finds it working on 2,134 domains. A domain counts when a page loads Sectigo's seal script from secure.trust-provider.com and the seal still answers for the site. That second test is new on this page, and it halved the count. 1,347 of the 2,134 domains match a company, and the seal ranks 6th of 16 in SSL/TLS Certificates with 0.99%.
Half the seals had stopped answering
A TrustLogo has two parts: a badge image, often hosted on the customer's own server, and a script that opens Sectigo's verification page when a visitor clicks or points at it. On 15 October 2026 I asked that page about every domain where our crawl saw the script, using the seal code from the page wherever we could read it. For 2,284 of the 4,169 we could check, 54.79%, it answered that credentials are not available. The badge still shows on those sites. The check behind it is empty.
The certificates explain it. I connected to every site and read who issued its certificate. Of the 2,284 dead seals, 1,101 sat on sites serving a Let's Encrypt certificate, 368 on Google Trust Services and 308 on hosts where we couldn't read a certificate at all. Those owners changed CA and kept the old badge. We removed the 2,078 dead seals on sites with another CA's certificate or none we could read. The other 206 still serve a Sectigo certificate, so they stay in, as Sectigo customers whose seal has broken.
"A seal is a promise that the CA will vouch for the site. On more than half the pages carrying a TrustLogo, Sectigo no longer would, and the largest group of those sites had moved to a free certificate." - Mehmet Suleyman, CEO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: a dead TrustLogo marks a site that left Sectigo without cleaning up. If you sell certificate management or website maintenance, that's a list of owners who changed CA and forgot one piece.
The chart
The chart has one point, 2,134 domains in October 2026, because the seal test was run once. Our earlier monthly totals counted every TrustLogo script, working or not. Even uncorrected they wouldn't compare month to month: the set of domains we crawl turns over, with dead sites dropping out and new ones added, and our detection signals widen. Since we began tracking the seal on 4 August 2026, 305 domains dropped it on at least one hostname. 79 still carry it on another, so 226 left entirely.
Sales signal: there's no adoption curve to ride. Seals get added once, with a certificate, and then sit until someone redesigns the site.
Who still shows it
61.51% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 staff, and only 21 have more than 1,000. 35.23% were founded in the 2010s and 35.10% before 2000. The geography is less American than most web tools. The United States has 415 matched companies and India 115, and Argentina ties the United Kingdom on 79. The named users are public bodies and long-running local firms: Poșta Română, Kenya's Public Procurement Regulatory Authority, the University of Calicut, the Indian Institute of Horticultural Research and Garage Galliker's Swiss dealerships. Sectigo's own site carries it too.
Sales signal: these owners bought one certificate and added the badge themselves. Renewal reminders and hosting bundles fit them; enterprise certificate management doesn't.
A thin slice of Sectigo
The seal count says little about Sectigo's certificate business. Per Cloudflare Radar data in our certificate authority market share report, Sectigo issued 362 million final certificates in Q3 2026, 3.8% of the total. Against that, about two thousand badges is a rounding error. What the seal measures is the small set of buyers who want visitors to see their CA. Of the 2,134 domains, 1,316 served a Sectigo-issued certificate when we connected on 15 October. We couldn't read 426, and the other 392 served another CA's certificate, such as Let's Encrypt (165) or Google Trust Services (136), while Sectigo's verification page still answered for the host.
"Sectigo issues hundreds of millions of certificates a quarter, and its badge is live on about two thousand sites. Read this page as a list of seal users, not of Sectigo's customers." - Mehmet Suleyman, CEO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: if you sell against Sectigo, this is the brand-conscious corner of its base: sites that chose to advertise their CA in the footer.
Comodo, GeoTrust and the rest of the table
The TrustLogo is older than the Sectigo name. Comodo CA was carved out of Comodo Group and bought by Francisco Partners in October 2017, and it renamed itself Sectigo on 1 November 2018. Seals installed in the Comodo years load the same kind of script from secure.comodo.com, which still served it with a valid certificate on 28 October 2026; those badges are counted in the Comodo SSL row. The table around this page isn't like-for-like either. GlobalSign's 165,576 domains count a DNS record left by domain validation, and GeoTrust's seal hostnames no longer resolve. DigiCert's seal, at 1,766 domains after its own correction, is the only row cleaned the same way.
Sales signal: a site still carrying a Comodo badge hasn't touched its footer in years. That's a cleanup and migration conversation.
Stack and price
Across the 2,133 domains in the stack base, Google Analytics runs on 61.04% and WordPress on 33.05%, with Elementor on 7.45%. GoDaddy hosts 10.83% and Cloudflare sits in front of 14.81%. Consent banners are thin: CookieYes is the most common at 3.56%. Before our cut, 1,266 of the 4,212 TrustLogo domains served a Let's Encrypt certificate, the single largest destination for owners who left. Sectigo's certificate pages say a one-year single-domain DV certificate starts at $110, with warranties of $500,000 (DV), $1,000,000 (OV) and $1,750,000 (EV), and its knowledge base offers the dynamic TrustLogo free to SSL customers.
Sales signal: WordPress agencies and hosts serving small businesses will recognise these sites. A live seal tells them the owner chose a commercial CA and wants visitors to know it.
Key takeaways
1. 2,134 domains after 2,078 dead seals on sites without a Sectigo certificate were removed; 206 dead seals on Sectigo certificates stay in.
2. 54.79% of the seals we could test showed no credentials.
3. 61.51% of sized companies have 1 to 10 staff, and India and Argentina rank higher than on most web tools.
4. GeoTrust's seal hosts no longer resolve, so its badges are dead; Comodo-era badges still load their script from secure.comodo.com.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who uses Sectigo TrustLogo?
Mostly small organisations that bought a Sectigo certificate and put the free seal on their site. Our October 2026 crawl finds a working TrustLogo on 2,134 live domains, and 61.51% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 staff. Named users with a live seal include Poșta Română, CMS Computers, Kenneth Copeland Ministries, the University of Calicut and Kenya's procurement regulator.
How many customers does Sectigo TrustLogo have?
Our October 2026 crawl counts 2,134 live domains with a working TrustLogo, 1,347 of them matched to a company. That leaves out 2,078 domains whose seal now shows no credentials and whose certificate comes from another CA or couldn't be read. Seal users are a sliver of Sectigo's customers: per Cloudflare Radar, Sectigo issued 362 million final certificates in Q3 2026 alone.
What is Sectigo TrustLogo's market share?
0.99% of SSL/TLS Certificates, 6th of the 16 technologies we track there, on 2,134 domains after dead seals are removed. The category mixes signals. GlobalSign's 76.87% counts DNS records left by domain validation, not seals, and the GeoTrust and Comodo SSL rows count seal scripts without a dead-seal correction. DigiCert's seal, with the same correction, has 0.82%.
What are the best alternatives to Sectigo TrustLogo?
Most certificate authorities offer a badge with some certificates. DigiCert's seal runs on 1,766 domains in our crawl after the same dead-seal correction, and DigiCert includes it with Secure Site and Secure Site Pro. Let's Encrypt certificates are free and come with no seal at all; before our cut, 1,266 of the 4,212 domains showing a TrustLogo served one.
Which countries use Sectigo TrustLogo the most?
The United States, with 415 matched companies, then India (115), the United Kingdom and Argentina (79 each), Australia (66) and Canada (61). What size companies use Sectigo TrustLogo?
Small ones. 61.51% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 22.3% have 11 to 50, so 83.81% have 50 staff or fewer. Only 21 of the 1,260 sized companies have more than 1,000 staff, among them Poșta Română, Altrak 1978 and the Indian security firm Visual Securas.

The oldest named users include Poșta Română (1862), Ateneo de Zamboanga University (1912) and Romblon State University (1915).
What is the ideal customer profile for Sectigo TrustLogo?
A business or public body with 1 to 10 staff in the US, India, the UK or Argentina, founded in the 2010s, running a WordPress site with Google Analytics. It bought a Sectigo certificate and added the free seal. Check that the seal still answers before you call: on 15 October 2026, 54.79% of the seals we could test did not.
Is Comodo now Sectigo?
Yes. Comodo CA, the certificate business, was carved out of Comodo Group and bought by Francisco Partners in October 2017, and it renamed itself Sectigo on 1 November 2018, per Sectigo's announcement. The Comodo name stayed with Comodo Group's security products. Old Comodo seals load a script from secure.comodo.com, which still served it with a valid certificate on 28 October 2026.
How much does Sectigo cost?
Sectigo's site says a one-year single-domain DV certificate starts at $110, and its comparison page lists warranties of $500,000 for DV, $1,000,000 for OV and $1,750,000 for EV (both read 15 October 2026). The price rises with validation level and the number of domains. The dynamic TrustLogo costs nothing extra: Sectigo's knowledge base offers it free to SSL customers.
Are DigiCert and Sectigo the same?
No. They're separate certificate authorities: DigiCert is based in Lehi, Utah, and Sectigo is the former Comodo CA. Their seals rarely share a site. Sectigo TrustLogo runs on 2,134 domains in our October 2026 crawl and DigiCert's seal on 1,766, each after removing dead seals. Both sell DV, OV and EV certificates and offer a seal with some of them.
Is Sectigo a trusted Certificate Authority?
Sectigo is one of the larger CAs: per Cloudflare Radar data in our CA market share report, it issued 362 million final certificates in Q3 2026, 3.8% of the total. Whether a given seal still means anything is a separate question. When we tested every TrustLogo in October 2026, Sectigo's own verification page showed no credentials for 54.79% of the sites we could check.
What happens to the TrustLogo when the certificate expires or moves to another CA?
The badge stays on the page, but clicking it shows Sectigo's message that credentials are not available. That was true for 2,284 of the 4,169 seals we checked on 15 October 2026. 2,078 of those sites served another CA's certificate, most often Let's Encrypt, or none we could read. The other 206 still had a Sectigo certificate, so only the seal had broken.
Is the Sectigo TrustLogo free?
Yes, for Sectigo SSL customers. Sectigo's knowledge base, updated 12 October 2026, recommends the free dynamic TrustLogo, which lets visitors point at the badge to verify the site, over a static seal image. You add a script from secure.trust-provider.com and a line with your seal's code. In our October 2026 crawl, 2,134 domains run it with live credentials.
