Companies Using BugHerd

Our October 2026 crawl finds BugHerd's feedback widget on 9,241 live domains, 2nd of the 49 technologies in our Help Desk category. BugHerd isn't a help desk. It's a Melbourne tool that lets a client pin comments and bug reports to a web page while an agency builds or changes it, so the site owner is often not the buyer. The biggest names on our list, Disney, Ford, Unilever and Boeing among them, are career sites built by the recruitment agency Radancy, whose site team holds the BugHerd projects. Below is the list of companies that use BugHerd, with size, country, industry and stack.

The 9,241 is a cleaned count. We removed 1,964 domains whose BugHerd project is disabled or deleted, because the snippet outlives the project, and 890 gym websites that PushPress builds and runs under its own BugHerd account. How we did it is set out at the end of this page.

BugHerd Usage Statistics

One point: 9,241 live domains in October 2026, counted after the removals described at the end of this page, so we don't chart earlier months on a different basis. The raw count that month was 12,095. The set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with dead sites dropping out and new ones added, and our detection widens over time, so the next reading won't be a like-for-like comparison either. Exits we can count: 2,225 domains dropped BugHerd since we began tracking it in March 2026, some only on one hostname.

List of Companies Using BugHerd

Who uses BugHerd? This list of companies that use BugHerd names 50 of the 6,495 matched companies, with one caveat. 37 of the 50 are career sites built on Radancy's TalentBrew platform, where Radancy's site team holds the BugHerd projects, mostly set up on its staging host, runmytests.com. We checked every row in October 2026 and replaced five whose project BugHerd reports as disabled, plus a second Disney domain that forwards to the first.

BugHerd Market Share Among Help Desk

What is BugHerd's market share? 4.94% of Help Desk, 2nd of the 49 technologies in that category at TechnologyChecker.io, counting 9,241 domains. Only a Statuspage row, with 142,413 domains, is larger. The table mixes status pages, help desks and feedback widgets, so the fair comparison is the other widget in it, Marker.io: on both cleaned counts BugHerd has about 2.3 times its domains (9,241 to 3,989).

BugHerd Customers by Company Size & Age

What size companies use BugHerd? Mostly small ones. 42.02% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 29.29% have 11 to 50. That's an agency's client book: estate agents, builders, clinics and charities whose sites someone else maintains. 321 companies have more than 1,000 staff, and at those the BugHerd site is usually one property, most often a careers site built by a recruitment agency.

Company Size Distribution

Company Age (Founded Decade)

The largest group of matched companies was founded in the 2010s (26.89%), then the 2000s (19.55%) and the 1990s (13.86%). 11.11% predate 1960, more than the 9.28% founded in the 2020s. That old tail is mostly large employers whose career sites an agency builds and tests: Ford (1903), Boeing (1916) and Disney (1923) are all on the list.

What Industries Use BugHerd the Most?

Real Estate leads at 5.12%, followed by Construction (4.74%), Medical Practices (4.28%) and Hospitals and Health Care (4.02%), based on our enriched company data. No industry reaches 6%, which is the spread you'd expect when agencies install a tool on whatever clients they have. Gyms led the raw count until we removed PushPress's sites.

Healthcare companies on BugHerd include UnitedHealth Group, Cedars-Sinai and Ochsner, all on Radancy-built careers sites, and Ramsay Health Care on its own site. Real estate firms using BugHerd include Greystar on its jobs site, and 42 Houston agents' domains that forward to one listings portal share a single project. Senior-living operators using BugHerd include Brookdale, which has public feedback switched on.

BugHerd Alternatives & Competitors

Only one row here does the same job. Marker.io is a feedback and bug-report widget; Atlassian Statuspage publishes status pages, Freshdesk is a help desk and Noibu monitors ecommerce errors. The two widgets rarely meet: 21 BugHerd domains also load Marker.io. Overlaps with help desks mean a support tool runs beside a feedback tool, not a switch: 213 domains run BugHerd and Zendesk today, 25 Atlassian Statuspage and 11 Freshdesk.

How We Counted BugHerd Customers

A domain passes our BugHerd test when a page on it loads a script from bugherd.com or creates BugHerd's configuration object. In October 2026, 12,095 live domains passed. We then removed two groups that carry BugHerd's script but aren't BugHerd customers in their own right; the 5 domains whose page title marks them as for-sale or gambling pages all fall inside those two groups.

1,964 domains with a dead project. BugHerd's script asks BugHerd's servers about its project every time it loads, and the reply says whether the project is active. We read the project key on as many domains as we could, from our crawl's script records and from homepage fetches, and asked about each one. On 6,965 domains we got an answer: 953 domains pointed at a disabled project and 1,011 at a project BugHerd no longer knows. The snippet still loads on those sites but does nothing.

890 PushPress gym sites. PushPress, a gym management software company, builds websites for gyms and adds a BugHerd project to each. We identified them by PushPress's footer credit on a full homepage fetch of every BugHerd domain that also runs Webflow, which all of them do. Their project numbers cluster in one block, so they sit under one account. A random sample put PushPress at about 8% of the raw count.

That leaves 9,241, the figure on this page and the base for every chart. Two limits remain. For 5,064 of the 9,241 we couldn't read or look up a project key, so a share of them will also be dead projects; if they behave like the domains we could check, roughly three in ten would be. And Radancy's career sites (about 196 domains) stay in, because they are real sites under live projects, though Radancy rather than the employer holds the account. Because this page uses one cleaned reading, the usage chart starts in October 2026.

Expert Analysis: BugHerd Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

Elif Arslan
Elif ArslanCMO & Co-founder, TechnologyChecker

Every BugHerd install is two companies: the one whose site carries the widget, and the one that pays for the project. Usually that second one is an agency. A domain counts here when its pages load a script from bugherd.com or create BugHerd's configuration object, and the project behind it isn't known to be dead. Our October 2026 crawl finds 9,241 live domains on that basis, 6,495 matched to a company, 2nd of 49 in Help Desk. Getting there took two cuts from a raw 12,095, and both say something about how this product is bought.

Whose project is it?

BugHerd puts a project key in its script address. On the cleaned set we read keys on 4,208 domains and found 3,109 projects; 85.2% sit on a single domain. That's the agency pattern, one project per client site, and it hides the account behind the projects. So we looked for builders. PushPress, the gym software company, builds Webflow sites for gyms and puts a BugHerd project on each. We found 890 such domains, and 506 of the 785 PushPress project numbers we read fall inside one block of 3,000, which points to one account creating them in bulk. We removed them: one company's account, not 890 buyers. Radancy, the recruitment-marketing agency, builds career sites on its TalentBrew platform and tests them with BugHerd. About 196 cleaned domains run TalentBrew, 2.12% of the count, but they are 37 of the 50 names at the top of our list. We kept them and say so.

The rest of the multi-domain projects are single companies: a security company's 77 domains under one key, Houston realtors forwarding to one listings portal (42), a storage company's brands (31), a business-coaching network's implementer sites (28), a senior-living operator's communities and Disney's career domains (21 each).

Sales signal: on a BugHerd list, the reachable buyer is the agency. Group rows by staging host or footer credit before you prospect, and treat a career site as Radancy's account, not the employer's.

Does the project still exist?

BugHerd's sidebar asks BugHerd's servers about its project on every load, and the answer is public. We asked for every key we read on the raw set. Of 6,965 domains we could look up, 71.8% pointed at an active project, 13.68% at a disabled one and 14.52% at a project BugHerd no longer knows. Those 1,964 dead installs are out of this page. Of the 9,241 left, 4,177 have a confirmed active project; for the other 5,064 we couldn't read or look up a key, so some dead snippets will still be in there. Only 153 of the live projects accept feedback from any visitor.

"Nearly three in ten BugHerd snippets we could check belonged to a project that had been switched off or deleted. Agencies remove access when the job ends, but nobody goes back to take the script out." - Elif Arslan, CMO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io

Sales signal: a dead project is a former customer with a reminder still on the page. For BugHerd's rivals, those 1,964 domains are the warmest list in this data.

Who the customers are

42.02% of matched companies have 1 to 10 employees and 29.29% have 11 to 50: estate agents, builders, clinics, charities. 321 companies have more than 1,000 staff, and at those the BugHerd site is almost always one property, usually a careers site. 11.11% were founded before 1960, against 9.28% in the 2020s. BugHerd's own customer stories name agencies first: Fat Media, Coalition Technologies, Exposure Ninja, Manifest and the healthcare agency Precision Effect, plus in-house teams at Nissan and eCornell.

Sales signal: sell to the agency, then follow its client list. The small-business rows are reachable through the studio that built their site.

Industry and geography

Real Estate leads at 5.12%, then Construction (4.74%), Medical Practices (4.28%) and Hospitals and Health Care (4.02%). No industry reaches 6%. The United States has 3,595 companies, then Australia with 716, three ahead of the United Kingdom's 713: BugHerd's Melbourne roots. Australia and New Zealand hold 12.93% of the country table.

Sales signal: for agency-tooling sellers, Australia is over-represented here. A BugHerd install is a good sign of a working web studio in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.

No switching to report

No migration pair passes our tests. The overlaps are support tools beside feedback: 213 domains run BugHerd and Zendesk today, out of 295 ever seen with both, 25 Atlassian Statuspage and 11 Freshdesk. Only 21 BugHerd domains also load Marker.io.

"BugHerd and Marker.io almost never share a site. An agency picks one feedback tool and puts it on every client, so the competition happens once, at the agency, not site by site." - Elif Arslan, CMO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io

Sales signal: win the agency and you win its whole client list. Displacement campaigns aimed at individual sites will miss the decision-maker.

The stack around it

WordPress runs on 57.93% of the cleaned domains and Elementor on 14.51%. Webflow drops to 4.49% once PushPress's sites are out. Many projects were first registered on a staging address, at least 281 on WP Engine hosts and 183 on webflow.io across the raw set. Sentry (7.69%) and BugSnag (4.01%) point to developers in the loop.

Sales signal: WordPress hosting, care plans and site-maintenance retainers fit this list. The agency already runs the site and the review process.

What it costs

BugHerd's pricing page (15 October 2026) lists Standard at $50 a month for 5 members, Studio at $80 for 10 and Premium at $150 for 25, or $42, $67 and $125 billed yearly, with a Custom plan above. Guests are unlimited, there's a free trial and a 60-day money-back guarantee, and no free plan.

Sales signal: seat pricing with free guests suits agencies with many clients and few staff, which matches the single-site projects.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who uses BugHerd?

Mostly web agencies, on their clients' sites. Our crawl finds BugHerd on 9,241 live domains after cleaning, and 42.02% of matched companies have 1 to 10 staff. The biggest names are career sites for Disney, Ford, Unilever and Boeing, built by Radancy, which holds those projects. The site owner is often not the account holder, so prospect the agency.

How many customers does BugHerd have?

Our crawl finds BugHerd on 9,241 live domains in October 2026, 6,495 matched to a company. That already excludes 1,964 domains whose project BugHerd reports as disabled or deleted, and 890 gym sites under PushPress's account. It counts sites, not paying accounts: one agency can run hundreds of client sites, and 85.2% of projects we read sit on one domain.

What is BugHerd's market share?

4.94% of the Help Desk category, 2nd of 49 technologies, counting 9,241 domains. Only a Statuspage row is larger, at 142,413 domains. The category mixes status pages, help desks and feedback widgets, so the fairer comparison is Marker.io, the other widget in it: on both cleaned counts BugHerd has about 2.3 times its 3,989 domains.

What are the best alternatives to BugHerd?

The closest is Marker.io, the other website feedback widget we track, on 3,989 domains to BugHerd's 9,241 after cleaning both. Userback, Usersnap, Pastel and Feedbucket compete for the same agency buyers. Almost no site runs two of these at once: only 21 BugHerd domains also load Marker.io. Help desks such as Zendesk run beside BugHerd on 213 domains rather than replacing it.

Which countries use BugHerd the most?

The United States leads with 3,595 matched companies, then Australia (716), the United Kingdom (713), Canada (508) and Germany (142). Australia is second because BugHerd is a Melbourne company and its home market is strong: Australia and New Zealand together hold 799 of the 6,178 companies in our country table, 12.93%.

What size companies use BugHerd?

Mostly small ones. 42.02% of matched companies have 1 to 10 employees, 29.29% have 11 to 50 and 15.75% have 51 to 200. 321 companies have more than 1,000 staff, but at those BugHerd usually sits on one property, most often a careers site that an agency such as Radancy built and maintains for the employer.

How old are companies that use BugHerd?

Among the BugHerd domains we could match to a company with a known founding date, the largest group was founded in the 2010s (26.89%), followed by the 2000s (19.55%). That matched subset is drawn from 6,495 companies and is not representative of all 9,241 detected domains. This suggests BugHerd is most popular among relatively young companies.

The home market shows in our data: Australia has 716 matched BugHerd companies, second only to the United States and three ahead of the United Kingdom's 713.

What is BugHerd?

BugHerd is a visual feedback and bug-tracking tool for websites. A small script adds a sidebar where team members and invited clients click on a page element, leave a comment with a screenshot and browser details, and the note lands on a task board. Our crawl counts 9,241 live domains with BugHerd installed in October 2026, after removing dead projects.

How do agencies use BugHerd?

They create a project per client site, paste the snippet into the site and invite the client as a guest to pin feedback during build and review. Our census shows that pattern: 85.2% of the 3,109 project keys we read on the cleaned set sit on a single domain, and many projects were first set up on staging hosts such as WP Engine, webflow.io or Radancy's runmytests.com.

Does BugHerd stay on a website after a project ends?

Often, yes. The snippet keeps loading after a project is disabled or deleted, but it stops doing anything. When we looked up the projects behind 6,965 domains in October 2026, BugHerd reported 71.8% as active, 13.68% as disabled and 14.52% as deleted. We removed the 1,964 dead ones from this page's count; the remaining domains are live installs or unreadable.

BugHerd vs Marker.io: which is better?

They solve the same problem for slightly different buyers. BugHerd is built around agencies and client guests with a task board; Marker.io leans to software and QA teams, with two-way sync into Jira and similar trackers. On cleaned counts BugHerd is larger, 9,241 domains to 3,989, and starts at $42 a month billed yearly, against Marker.io's $39 Starter plan.

Does BugHerd work with WordPress?

Yes. BugHerd offers a WordPress plugin and lists WordPress and Drupal among its integrations on its pricing page. It's the most common pairing in our data: WordPress runs on 57.93% of the 9,241 BugHerd domains behind our charts, with Elementor on 14.51% and Divi on 4.14%. Webflow, at 4.49%, is far behind once PushPress's gym sites are removed.
