Companies Using Webpushr

Webpushr is the third-largest web push tool in our table, behind PushOwl and OneSignal, and I wanted to see who picks it over OneSignal. A domain counts in our crawl when its pages load Webpushr's SDK from cdn.webpushr.com or create the Webpushr objects that SDK sets up. In our October 2026 crawl that's 4,125 live domains, 3rd of 39 in Push Notifications, and 1,599 of them match a company record. Webpushr Inc. says it's based in Atlanta.

Is the code still running?

I sampled 60 random domains on 15 October to see whether the code still runs. 49 still carried Webpushr's code. 12 ran the SDK in our browser within 12 seconds and logged a session with Webpushr's analytics server, and nine of those fetched the subscription bell. Most of the others hold the script until a visitor scrolls or clicks, because page-speed plugins such as LiteSpeed Cache and WP Rocket defer it. Six no longer had it, including an expired domain and a fresh WordPress install, and five didn't answer or blocked us.

Accounts are spread thin. Of the homepages we fetched, 564 exposed a Webpushr site key in their HTML, and they used 515 different keys; 489 of those keys sit on a single domain, and the biggest covers seven. No agency or platform runs one account across hundreds of sites. The largest single customer is SRS Distribution: 52 domains, its main site and jobs site plus older roofing and building-supply names that now forward to srsdistribution.com. Betting-tips and casino-review sites come to 39 domains, under 1%.

Sales signal: treat a Webpushr row as one site owner with one account. Dedupe SRS's 52 domains into one, and expect about four in five rows to still carry the code.

A flat line since July

Our monthly counts read 3,092 in June, 4,052 in July, 4,071 in August, 4,083 in September and 4,125 in October. The June to July jump is ours: the set of domains we crawl turns over every month, dead sites out and new ones in, and our detection widened over the summer. Since then the line has gained 73 domains in three months. 713 domains dropped Webpushr on at least one hostname after tracking began in March 2026, and 70 of them still run it on another hostname.

Sales signal: this is a steady pool of about 4,000 sites. Pitch to the installed base; the line has grown by only 73 domains since July.

Small publishers, mostly

64.66% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees, against 58.67% on OneSignal's profile, and 21.16% have 11 to 50. They're young too: 45.75% were founded in the 2010s and 25.93% in the 2020s, where OneSignal's profile shows 19.49%. Only 24 companies have more than 1,000 staff. The big names tend to use Webpushr for one property: Cambro on its blog, Preethi on its online store, Somaiya Vidyavihar University on its newsletter. Suzuki Indonesia, Oberoi Realty and Asian Agri run it on their main sites. Webpushr's own homepage doesn't name customers; it says more than 20,000 websites use it, a figure that isn't limited to sites live today.

Sales signal: the buyer is usually a small publisher's owner or editor. Lead with traffic and ad revenue; segmentation features matter less to a team of ten or fewer.

India first, media everywhere

India has 283 matched companies and the United States 244, the reverse of OneSignal's profile, where the United States leads 3,170 to 2,212. Brazil (98), Italy (58), France (56), Nigeria (55) and the United Kingdom (55) follow, and Pakistan is 11th with 30. The industry chart says what these sites are. Online Audio and Video Media (5.17%), Media Production (4.76%) and Newspaper Publishing (4.55%) lead, and six media and publishing industries add up to 25.02%. Broadcasters such as Channels Television in Nigeria, Neo News in Pakistan and TCS Ahora in El Salvador all run it.

Sales signal: news publishers in India, Pakistan, Nigeria and Brazil are the densest cluster. Ad-tech, content-recommendation and paywall vendors will find more fit here than ecommerce tools will.

OneSignal: rarely on the same site

OneSignal is the obvious comparison. Its WordPress plugin lists 60,000+ active installations on WordPress.org and Webpushr's lists 10,000+, and both have a free plan. Yet the two rarely meet on one site: 67 domains run both today, out of 114 ever seen with both, against 4,125 Webpushr and 47,794 OneSignal domains. Webpushr's plugin page says subscribers from an old provider such as OneSignal are re-subscribed automatically when they come back, so a site moving between them may run both for a while. Our switching tests found no corridor in either direction.

Sales signal: there's no migration wave to ride. A rival push vendor has to win on a specific feature gap, one site at a time.

An ad-funded stack

Percentages here are of the 4,074 clean domains we analysed for overlaps. WordPress runs on 82.97% and Elementor on 28.69%, well above OneSignal's 61.02% and 18.3%. Google Analytics is on 79.77% and Site Kit on 17.75%. The money side is ads: Google AdSense on 42.54%, Funding Choices on 23.74%, DoubleClick Floodlight on 14.95%, Google Publisher Tag on 7.66% and Prebid on 4.15%. WooCommerce (12.52%) is the only sizeable ecommerce signal, and Shopify sits at 0.88%.

Sales signal: these sites earn per page view, and push is one way they bring readers back. Header-bidding, consent and ad-ops vendors can use a Webpushr list as a ready audience of independent publishers.

What it costs

Webpushr's pricing page (15 October 2026) lists a free plan up to 10,000 subscribers with no time limit and every feature included. Individual costs $29 a month up to 50,000 subscribers, Startup $49 up to 100,000 and Growth $99 up to 150,000; Enterprise is quoted. Billing is monthly with no minimum term. Unsubscribed users don't count.

Sales signal: with 64.66% of matched companies at 10 or fewer staff, most accounts probably sit on the free tier. Upsell, or poach, the ones whose audience is growing past 10,000 subscribers.
