Companies Using PushEngage
Our October 2026 crawl finds PushEngage on 1,468 live domains once 151 gambling and domain-for-sale pages are set aside, 8th of the 39 tools in Push Notifications with 0.92% of the category. PushEngage is the web push service Awesome Motive bought in 2020, and its customers lean further towards shops than other WordPress push tools: WooCommerce runs on about one in five of its domains and Shopify on almost one in eleven. Below is the list of companies that use PushEngage, with size, country, industry and stack. It includes Konzum, Shokz, One Kings Lane and Willamette Valley Vineyards.
The United States has the most matched companies, 212, followed by India (73) and the United Kingdom (61), and 61.4% of matched companies with a known size have 10 or fewer staff. The raw count needed cleaning: 82 of the domains loading PushEngage were Turkish and Indonesian gambling networks that our title filter missed. This page leaves them out, and the note at the bottom explains how.

PushEngage Usage Statistics
How many websites use PushEngage? 1,468 live domains in October 2026, after removing 151 gambling and for-sale pages. The chart has a single point because this cleaned count starts with the October crawl, so there is no trend to read yet. Later points won't be a same-domain comparison either: the set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with dead sites dropping out and new ones added, and our detection widens over time. Since tracking began in March 2026, 228 domains dropped PushEngage on at least one hostname, and 39 of those still run it on another.

Which Countries Use PushEngage the Most?
Which countries use PushEngage the most? The United States, with 212 matched companies, then India (73), the United Kingdom (61), Australia (25) and Canada (24). The United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and Canada hold 322 of the 517 companies in the chart. Webpushr's profile looks different, with India ahead of the United States 283 to 244. These are counts of companies matched to PushEngage domains, not of every domain.
Share of the 676 PushEngage domains we matched to a company record — 46.0% of the 1,468 we detect. Top 15 countries shown, so these do not sum to 100%. Domains with no matching company record are not represented here and skew small and independent.
PushEngage Market Share Among Push Notifications
What is PushEngage's market share? 0.92% of Push Notifications, 8th of 39 on our cleaned count at TechnologyChecker.io. Our category table uses this cleaned count too. PushOwl (85,415 domains) and OneSignal (47,794) are a different scale. The nearest are Pushly, 7th with 1,701 domains, and Gravitec, 9th with 1,345, 123 behind.
Top Competitors by Market Share
PushEngage Customers by Company Size & Age
What size companies use PushEngage? Mostly small ones. 61.4% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 22.19% have 11 to 50, close to OneSignal's 58.67% in the smallest band. There's a retail tail at the top: 14 companies have more than 1,000 staff, among them Konzum, the Croatian retailer, Shokz, the headphone maker, and The Fives Hotels & Residences in Mexico.
Company Size Distribution
Company Age (Founded Decade)
The largest group of matched companies was founded in the 2010s (46.28%), then the 2000s (18.14%) and the 2020s (17.21%). That's an older base than Webpushr's, where 25.93% date from the 2020s, and close to OneSignal's 19.49%. 15 companies predate 1960, among them Progressive Grocer, founded in 1922, and Konzum, founded in 1957.
What Industries Use PushEngage the Most?
Retail leads at 5.93%, then Advertising Services (4.81%), LinkedIn's label for agencies, Book and Periodical Publishing (3.69%) and Business Consulting and Services (3.53%), based on our enriched company data. No industry reaches 6%, and the top four sit within 2.4 points of each other, so PushEngage sells across shops, agencies, publishers and consultancies rather than to one vertical.
Retailers using PushEngage include Konzum in Croatia, Stylo in Pakistan and One Kings Lane in the United States. Publishers on PushEngage include D Magazine in Dallas, La Opinión in Los Angeles and Convenience Store News. Electronics brands using PushEngage include Shokz on its UK store and PRISM+ in Singapore.
PushEngage Alternatives & Competitors
PushEngage's direct rivals sell web push to the same WordPress sites. OneSignal (29.92%) runs on 47,794 domains, and only 15 domains run both today, out of 23 ever seen with both. Webpushr (2.58%) has 4,125 domains and shares none with PushEngage today, out of 3 ever. Gravitec (0.84%), iZooto (0.82%) and PushAlert (0.71%) sit below it. How We Counted PushEngage Customers
A domain counts here if a page on it loads a PushEngage script from clientcdn.pushengage.com: the site script under /core/ that carries the site's own ID, or the web SDK that the WordPress plugin and Shopify app load. In our October 2026 crawl, 1,619 domains passed that test.
Before computing anything we removed 151. 69 had a page title that marks a domain-for-sale lander or a gambling site. We found the other 82 by fetching every remaining homepage on 15 October 2026: Turkish and Indonesian gambling networks whose brand names our title filter doesn't catch. The largest were Paşa Casino (18 numbered mirror domains), a Russian-language slot-games site (11), Betorspin (6), Favori Slot (6), negobet88 (5), istanabet17 (4) and Kayapremium (4), plus LORENZOPLAY, which runs on five lapsed domains that once belonged to unrelated small businesses. Every chart and table on this page uses the remaining 1,468.
Our Push Notifications category table uses this cleaned count too, with PushEngage 8th at 0.92%. The cleaned figure still counts installs, not paying accounts. In a sample of 48 clean domains, three loaded a PushEngage site script that now returns 403 Forbidden, the sign of a closed account, and four no longer carried the code.
Expert Analysis: PushEngage Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

PushEngage belongs to a WordPress plugin company: its about page says Syed Balkhi bought it in 2020 and that it now sits in Awesome Motive beside WPBeginner, WPForms and MonsterInsights. I wanted to see whether that shows in who uses it. A domain counts in our crawl when its pages load a PushEngage script from clientcdn.pushengage.com. After cleaning, our October 2026 crawl has 1,468 live domains, 8th of 39 in Push Notifications, and 676 of them match a company record.
Cleaning the count
The raw list held 1,619 domains. 69 were for-sale landers or gambling pages that our title filter catches. When I fetched every remaining homepage on 15 October, 82 more were gambling networks with brand names the filter doesn't know: Paşa Casino on 18 numbered mirror domains, a Russian-language slot site on 11, Betorspin and Favori Slot on 6 each, and Indonesian sites such as negobet88 and LORENZOPLAY. That was 5.29% of what the title filter left, so they're out of every chart here.
Sales signal: an uncleaned PushEngage list carries about one casino mirror in every twenty rows.
Is the code still running?
I sampled 48 clean domains. 40 still carried PushEngage's code, 21 loaded its web SDK in our browser and 20 of those fetched the site's settings from PushEngage. Three point at a site script that now returns 403 Forbidden, which is what a closed account looks like. Four no longer had the code and four didn't answer.
"PushEngage sits closer to the shop till than its WordPress rivals: one in five of its sites runs WooCommerce, against one in eight for Webpushr." - Mehmet Suleyman, CEO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: a script that still sits on a page isn't an active account. Check for the 403 before treating a PushEngage site as a paying customer.
Shops more than publishers
Percentages here are of the 1,468 clean domains. WordPress runs on 67.1% and Elementor on 21.66%. The difference from other push tools is commerce: WooCommerce on 20.3% and Shopify on 8.86%, against 12.52% and 0.88% on Webpushr's profile. Ads matter less. Google AdSense is on 17.3% of PushEngage domains and 42.54% of Webpushr's. MonsterInsights, Awesome Motive's analytics plugin, is on 23.71%, so many buyers already use another plugin from the same company.
Sales signal: pitch cart recovery and product alerts, not pageviews. Cross-sell plays that work on WooCommerce stores will land here.
Small companies, with a retail tail
61.4% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 22.19% have 11 to 50. Age is middle of the road: 46.28% were founded in the 2010s and 17.21% in the 2020s. The top end is retail and consumer brands. 14 companies have more than 1,000 staff, including Konzum, the Croatian retailer, Shokz on its UK store and The Fives Hotels & Residences in Mexico. PushEngage says more than 75,000 businesses use it, a count that isn't limited to sites live today, and its WordPress plugin lists 9,000+ active installations.
Sales signal: the typical buyer is a store owner or a small marketing team, and the larger accounts are retailers running promotions. Lead with revenue per subscriber.
English-speaking first
The United States has 212 matched companies, India 73, the United Kingdom 61, Australia 25 and Canada 24, so the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia and Canada hold 322 of the 517 companies in the country chart. Industries are spread out. Retail leads at 5.93%, then Advertising Services (4.81%), Book and Periodical Publishing (3.69%) and Business Consulting and Services (3.53%). Publishers such as D Magazine and La Opinión sit beside stores such as One Kings Lane.
Sales signal: start with US and UK retail and agency rows; India is the second market by matched companies.
One owner, many domains
Accounts are mostly single-site. Of the homepages we fetched, 426 exposed a PushEngage site ID, using 385 different IDs, and 356 of those IDs sit on one domain. The exceptions are one owner's domain sets: Just Better Care, the Australian home-care provider, runs it on 14 domains, 13 of them under one ID, and We Are Knitters on 14 country stores. Path to Purchase Institute, Progressive Grocer and Chain Store Age between them account for 21 domains that forward to their three main sites.
Sales signal: collapse these sets before counting accounts. A 14-domain row is one buyer.
OneSignal: rarely on the same site
OneSignal is the obvious rival, with 47,794 domains and a WordPress plugin listing 60,000+ active installations against PushEngage's 9,000+. Only 15 domains run both today, out of 23 ever seen with both, and Webpushr and PushEngage share none today, out of 3 ever. Our switching tests found no corridor between any of them.
"Fifteen sites run PushEngage and OneSignal together. Push buyers commit to one vendor, so the fight is for the next install." - Mehmet Suleyman, CEO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: there's no visible migration to ride. Win new WordPress and WooCommerce stores before they install anything.
What it costs
PushEngage's pricing page (26 October 2026) shows a free plan for up to 200 subscribers on one site. Billed annually, the first year of Business is $8 a month (list $14) from 1,000 subscribers, Premium $15 (list $29) and Growth $24 (list $60) from 2,500, and Enterprise, above Growth's 250,000 subscribers, is quoted. Cart recovery, price-drop and back-in-stock alerts are on Growth. If a list outgrows its plan, PushEngage moves the account up a tier and bills the difference.
Sales signal: the 200-subscriber free plan pushes stores to pay early, and renewals jump to list price after the first year. That's the moment a rival can make its offer.
Key takeaways

PushEngage vs OneSignal: do sites use both?
Rarely. Only 15 domains run PushEngage and OneSignal today, out of 23 ever seen with both since our tracking began, against 1,468 PushEngage and 47,794 OneSignal domains. Webpushr and PushEngage share no domains today, out of 3 ever. Sites pick one push vendor, so running two at once is rare.
What are the top push notification services?
By live domains in our October 2026 crawl, Push Notifications is led by PushOwl (85,415 domains) and OneSignal (47,794), then Webpushr (4,125). PushEngage is 8th with 1,468 on our cleaned count, behind SendPulse Web Push (1,873) and Pushly (1,701) and ahead of Gravitec (1,345) and iZooto (1,310). The ranking counts sites that run each tool, which says nothing about delivery or features.
Does PushEngage work with WooCommerce and Shopify?
Yes. PushEngage has a WordPress plugin, which lists 9,000+ active installations, and a Shopify app, and its pricing page offers abandoned-cart, price-drop and back-in-stock alerts on the Growth plan. In our crawl, 20.3% of PushEngage domains run WooCommerce and 8.86% run Shopify, more than on Webpushr's or OneSignal's profiles, so the shop features get real use.
Which industries use PushEngage?
