Companies Using ConveyThis

I run the crawlers behind these numbers, so I'll start with what the count is. A domain counts as a ConveyThis site when a page on it loads a script from cdn.conveythis.com. Our October 2026 crawl finds 1,468 such domains, and 970 of them match a company profile. On 15 October I opened 100 of them at random in a headless browser: 89 loaded ConveyThis, 6 wouldn't load for us, and 5 loaded without it, two of them American Integrity Insurance sites. 70 of the 89 exposed a ConveyThis public account key, and all 70 keys were different. Every key belonged to a different account, and we found no agency or platform pushing ConveyThis across many sites.

What the monthly line does and doesn't show

The chart reads 1,068 domains in June 2026, 1,183 in July, 1,201 in August, 1,336 in September and 1,468 in October. I wouldn't sell that as momentum. We don't crawl a fixed panel: dead domains drop out every month and newly found ones come in, and our detection has widened over the same months, so part of every step is ours. Exits are firmer ground. 206 domains dropped ConveyThis since we began tracking it on 16 March 2026. 42 of those still run it on another hostname, which leaves 164 that left outright in seven months.

Sales signal: treat the base as about 1,500 live sites with a slow, steady leak. The 164 exits are a dated list you can act on; a growth story built on this chart would be guesswork.

Who buys it: small and often public-minded

55.81% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 staff and 25.3% have 11 to 50, so 81.11% have 50 or fewer. The industry table is where ConveyThis stands out. Non-profit Organizations lead at 5.18%. Add Hospitals and Health Care (2.65%), Civic and Social Organizations (2.07%) and Higher Education (2.07%) and the public-service side reaches 11.97%, about twice the IT services and consulting pair at 5.76%. The names fit the numbers: RHD in Philadelphia, St. John's Community Health in Los Angeles, Aspire Indiana Health, the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, and two Wisconsin technical colleges, Gateway and Blackhawk. Blackhawk's athletics site offers Spanish, Hmong, Mongolian, Russian, Ukrainian and Traditional Chinese, which tells you who the college is trying to reach.

The large organisations mostly run ConveyThis on one site. Salt River Project uses it on its marketplace, Uzbekistan Airways on its extra-services pages and Buquebus on an international booking site. Kazakhstan Temir Zholy is the exception, with the script on railways.kz itself. Only 15 matched companies have more than 1,000 staff.

Sales signal: for vendors of accessibility, forms, donation or patient-portal tools, this is a ready-made segment of small public-service organisations that already run a second-language site. Open with reach and compliance rather than conversion rates.

Where they are

The United States leads with 371 matched companies, then Canada with 65, Germany 40, and Spain and France with 35 each. Canada is the interesting one. Somerset West and Pinecrest-Queensway, two Ottawa community health centres, publish French pages through ConveyThis, and Somerset West adds Arabic, Vietnamese, Khmer and two forms of Chinese. Montréal is the most common Canadian city among matched companies. Brazil (27) and Mexico (20) make the top ten as well.

Sales signal: in Canada, lead with French coverage and editing control, since both Ottawa centres on our list publish French. In the US the buyer is often a clinic or charity with a small team (81.11% of matched companies have 50 staff or fewer), so setup time matters more than feature lists.

Switching: nothing to call, one rival to watch

Our switching table for ConveyThis is empty, which is a result in itself. 54 ConveyThis domains run Weglot too, out of 71 we've ever seen with both, and 12 run GTranslate, out of 17. With more than 70% of each pair still running both, the overlaps look like sites testing a second tool or running one on a subdomain, not moves in one direction. Weglot is the comparison buyers make. It's about 48 times bigger in our crawl, at 70,798 domains, and it costs more to start: Weglot's Starter is €15 a month for 10,000 words, ConveyThis's is $12 for 60,000.

Sales signal: price is ConveyThis's case against Weglot, so a rival selling into this base should show cost per translated word at three to five languages, which is where ConveyThis's Business ($24, three languages) and Pro ($64, five languages) plans sit.

The stack around it

ConveyThis isn't tied to a CMS, unlike the category's three largest tools. On its 1,460 live domains after our title filter, WordPress runs on 29.18%, Squarespace on 16.23%, Weebly on 10.27%, Wix on 5.96% and Webflow on 5.0%, with Elementor on 13.56%. WPML, Polylang and GTranslate count WordPress sites almost entirely. Google Analytics is on 65.82% and Cloudflare's network on 46.58%. Consent banners are thin, with CookieYes leading at 6.37%, and Mailchimp is the most common email tool at only 4.59%.

Sales signal: these are under-tooled sites. A consent or email vendor will find that the most common product in its slot reaches fewer than one ConveyThis site in 15.

What the vendor says and what we see

ConveyThis's about page dates the company to 2008 and claims more than 4,500 paying customers and over 20,000 websites translated. Our 1,468 is a different measure: sites carrying the script today, on any plan. Both can be true. Twenty thousand reads as a running total, and a Free plan with no time limit means some of today's 1,468 have never paid. A few customers also hold several domains: 96 of the 1,460 clean domains repeat another ConveyThis domain's page title, American Integrity Insurance's 14 state and alias domains among them, so separate sites number nearer 1,360.

Sales signal: don't assume every ConveyThis site has a budget line for translation. The paying share is the part worth qualifying first, and sites with three or more languages are the likelier payers.

Targeting: filter ConveyThis domains on TechnologyChecker.io by industry (Non-profit Organizations, Hospitals and Health Care, Higher Education) and by country (United States, Canada), then split by site builder. Squarespace and Weebly sites need a different pitch from WordPress ones.

Outreach template: "Your site already serves a second language through ConveyThis. Most of the companies we see running it have 50 or fewer staff, so we built [product] to work the same way, no developer needed. Would a 15-minute walkthrough help?"

Competitive angle: the 54 domains running ConveyThis and Weglot together may be comparing translation tools. If you sell either one, or a rival, that's the shortest list to work first.
