Companies Using Langwill

Langwill is easy to miscount, so I'll start with what we're counting. Our October 2026 crawl finds 2,428 live domains loading Langwill's script from static.langwill.com, every one of them a Shopify store, and 666 match a company profile. Langwill is the app that used to be called ETranslate. Its Shopify App Store listing says it was developed by Channelwill and was formerly ETranslate, and stores still load files named etranslate. Our category table hasn't caught up: it lists Langwill 9th and ETranslate 10th, and 2,202 of the 2,368 clean Langwill domains in our 15 October check sit in both rows. Everything below treats them as one app.

A short line and a lot of movement

Our Langwill row began on 4 August 2026, so the chart has three points: 1,957 domains in August, 2,448 in September and 2,428 in October. The September step comes from our side as much as from Langwill's sales. The domains we crawl turn over every month, dead sites out and newly found ones in, and our detection widened in the same weeks. Exits are heavy: 492 domains dropped Langwill in about ten weeks, although 100 of them still run it on another hostname, against 1,207 drops for langify, a base three times larger, over seven months. Some stores also use several domains. 325 of the 2,368 clean domains in that check repeat another Langwill domain's page title, so the number of storefronts is closer to 2,040.

Sales signal: any list built from both rows double-counts most stores. Deduplicate on domain before you size a campaign.

Who the customers are

Langwill's base is the smallest and youngest of the four Shopify translation apps I covered this month (langify, LangShop, Transcy and Langwill). 71.22% of matched companies have 1 to 10 employees, against 59.88% on langify's profile, and 35.96% were founded in the 2020s, more than twice langify's 14.59%. The industry table reads like a list of small consumer brands: Retail 13.43%, Retail Apparel and Fashion 11.98%, then food, jewellery, wellness and personal care.

The recognisable names usually run Langwill on a store rather than the whole brand site. Tennis Canada uses it on store.tenniscanada.com, La Cornue on its cookware shop, RUF Automobile on its shop and Hinen on its European store. Colavita, Sorbino, Jacob and Marqués de Murrieta sell from their main domains.

Sales signal: pitch Langwill stores like first-time founders. They want setup in an afternoon, monthly pricing under $20 and no developer.

Where they sell from

The United States leads with 106 matched companies, then Germany (57), Italy (55), Canada (46), and France and Spain with 38 each. The signal I'd watch is China in 7th place with 32, the same place it holds on Transcy's profile and well above langify's, where China misses the top 15. Hong Kong (10) and the United Arab Emirates (15) also appear, and Langwill's support answers Chinese-language reviews on its App Store page in Chinese.

Sales signal: for apps that serve cross-border sellers (shipping, duties, payments), Langwill's China and UAE stores are a short list of merchants already selling abroad.

Switching: overlaps, no corridor

Our switching table is empty. 77 Langwill domains run Weglot too, out of 90 ever seen with both, 12 run langify (16 ever) and 10 run Transcy. More than three in four of the Weglot pairs still run both, so these look like stores layering tools or testing before they choose. Price separates Langwill from Weglot. Langwill's Starter is $9.99 a month for 30,000 words in 10 languages; Weglot's Starter is €15 for 10,000 words in one.

Sales signal: the 77 double-tooled stores are the clearest consolidation pitch on this page.

The stack around it

Every one of the 2,370 live domains we analysed runs Shopify. Judge.me reviews are on 25.15%, Klaviyo's email on 20.51% and Instafeed, which embeds an Instagram feed, on 15.57%. Google Analytics is on 64.77%. Consent tooling is thin, with Pandectes leading at 5.11%. In a random sample of 100 Langwill stores, 95 loaded its scripts and 76 of those published two or more languages, so about one in five either use it for currency only or haven't published a translation.

Sales signal: a Shopify consent app has an easy opening here, since 94.89% of Langwill stores don't run Pandectes, and Germany, Italy, France and Spain are four of its top six countries.

The company behind it

The listing names Rave Infosys Private Limited as the developer and Channelwill as the maker, and support replies there sign off as CWILL, the name Channelwill has used since January 2026 and the brand its ParcelPanel order-tracking app now carries. If you sell to the same merchants, our ParcelPanel profile covers that app. Langwill holds a Built for Shopify badge and 4.6 stars from more than 630 reviews, and its Free plan gives 5,000 words once, not monthly.

Sales signal: a free-plan store burns through 5,000 words with a small catalogue. Stores that have done so and not upgraded are worth a look from rival apps.
