Companies Using NoFraud
Our October 2026 crawl finds NoFraud's fraud-screening script on 6,382 live domains, and nearly all of them are Shopify stores: Shopify runs on 98.0% of the domains in our stack table. They are mostly small and mid-sized brands selling clothes, shoes, beauty products and outdoor gear, among them Burton, Nine West, bareMinerals, Laura Mercier and Everlane. Below is the list of companies that use NoFraud, with size, country, industry and stack.
NoFraud renamed itself Wyllo on 19 March 2026, after buying the returns-abuse tool Yofi, but the script that stores load still comes from services.nofraud.com, so this page keeps the name merchants and shoppers search for. It ranks 5th of the 32 tools in Fraud Prevention with 4.23%, and three of the four above it fight ad fraud rather than review orders.

NoFraud Usage Statistics
NoFraud reads 4,947 domains in June 2026, 6,187 in July, 6,263 in August, 6,104 in September and 6,382 in October. Since July the count has stayed between 6,104 and 6,382. 1,439 domains dropped NoFraud between 16 March 2026, when we began tracking removals, and October; 198 of the domains that dropped it still run it on another hostname.

Which Countries Use NoFraud the Most?
Which countries use NoFraud the most? The United States, with 1,432 matched companies, then Canada (130), the United Kingdom (109) and Australia (68). Those four hold 1,739 of the 1,981 companies we matched, about 88%. Nothing else reaches 20: Italy has 17, India 15 and France 12. That is the footprint of a Shopify app sold in English, and the non-US names on the list are mostly brands shipping to North America, such as Canon Singapore's eShop and KEF's US store.
Share of the 1,981 NoFraud domains we matched to a company record — 31.0% of the 6,382 we detect. Top 15 countries shown, so these do not sum to 100%. Domains with no matching company record are not represented here and skew small and independent.
NoFraud Market Share Among Fraud Prevention
What is NoFraud's market share? 4.23% of Fraud Prevention, 5th of the 32 tools we track there, based on our live crawl at TechnologyChecker.io. The rank needs reading: Google Ad Traffic Quality and ClickCease, the top two, fight click fraud on ads rather than review orders. Among the vendors that decide whether an order ships, NoFraud's 6,382 domains sit behind only Forter (21,652) and ahead of Signifyd (3,769), Riskified (1,665) and Sift (1,539). Riskified's and Sift's counts have had pages removed where a platform runs the vendor on its own account; Forter's hasn't been through that check.
Top Competitors by Market Share
NoFraud Customers by Company Size & Age
What size companies use NoFraud? Mostly small ones. 55.2% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 28.49% have 11 to 50, so 83.69% have 50 staff or fewer, based on our enriched company data. Only 23 have more than 1,000. They include Toys"R"Us, Dave & Buster's on its merchandise store and Shake Shack on its branded-goods shop, all three on Shopify.
Company Size Distribution
Company Age (Founded Decade)
Almost half the matched companies, 47.4%, were founded in the 2010s, the decade direct-to-consumer brands moved onto Shopify. The 2000s and the 2020s hold 15.39% each, and only 3.97% date from before 1960. The old names are mostly heritage brands selling direct: Thrifty White (1884), Lodge Cast Iron (1896) and Stride Rite (1919).
What Industries Use NoFraud the Most?
Retail leads at 18.22%, then Retail Apparel and Fashion (13.33%), Wellness and Fitness Services (6.47%) and Manufacturing (6.07%), based on our enriched company data. Add Retail Luxury Goods and Jewelry (4.09%) and the three retail labels cover 35.64% of matched companies. The manufacturing rows are brands selling their own products online, from swimwear to cookware.
Footwear brands using NoFraud are the clearest cluster: Nine West, Stride Rite, Rockport, Earth Shoes and Shoe Station. Beauty brands on NoFraud include bareMinerals, Laura Mercier and ILIA. Outdoor and sports brands using NoFraud include Burton, TYR, Benchmade and the Premier Lacrosse League's shop, while Range USA, a shooting-range chain, sells through it too.
NoFraud Alternatives & Competitors
On NoFraud stores the other order-fraud tools are more often a second script than a replacement. 149 domains run NoFraud and Signifyd today, out of 199 ever seen with both, and 82 run NoFraud and Forter (132 ever). TruValidate shows up on 16 (29 ever), Riskified on only 5 (14 ever). None of these pairs passes our switching tests here, because most domains seen with both still run both; Signifyd's page counts 22 domains moving each way between the two since March. Sift doesn't share a single live domain with NoFraud in our census; its sites are mostly apps, marketplaces and platforms, not Shopify stores.

Expert Analysis: NoFraud Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

I build the detection rules behind our crawl, so I started NoFraud where I always start: with what the rule sees. A domain counts when a page loads a script from services.nofraud.com. As of our October 2026 crawl that is 6,382 live domains, 1,981 of them matched to a company. On 15 October I loaded the 50 sites in our table in a browser: 43 loaded the script, and the other seven hid behind bot checks or sent me to a local storefront. I also read the script address on every domain where our crawl recorded it, because a fraud tool loaded under somebody else's account would mean the count measures that account, not the store. It doesn't. NoFraud is the cleanest of the three order-fraud tools I checked this week.
One script, two addresses
On 4,494 domains we have the address NoFraud's script was loaded from. 4,392 of them load the Shopify app's device script with the store's own myshopify name in the query string; 102 load a numbered customer script, the version for BigCommerce, Adobe Commerce and direct integrations. Those 4,494 domains belong to 3,433 stores. The busiest single store sits on 29 domains, and no account comes near 1% of the count. Shopify runs on 98.0% of NoFraud domains in our stack table; in our own census BigCommerce shows up on 48 domains and Adobe Commerce on 13.
Sales signal: treat NoFraud as a Shopify app first. A seller targeting BigCommerce or Adobe Commerce stores will find a few dozen NoFraud merchants, not thousands.
Flat since July
The chart reads 4,947 domains in June, 6,187 in July, 6,263 in August, 6,104 in September and 6,382 in October. The June to July step reflects changes on our side, both the domains we cover and the signals we detect NoFraud with, and the set of domains we crawl turns over every month as dead sites drop out and new ones are added. Since July the line has held between 6,104 and 6,382. 1,439 domains dropped NoFraud between 16 March 2026, when we began tracking removals, and October; 198 of the domains that dropped it still run it on another hostname. 68 of today's domains, about 1%, show a closed or not-yet-open Shopify store page.
"Every NoFraud address we could read named the store's own account. Sift's and Riskified's counts needed 10,605 and 618 platform pages taken out; NoFraud's needed none." - David Thomson, CTO at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: this is a steady pool. Pitch on fit, and expect a few hundred stores a quarter to cycle in and out.
Who the customers are
55.2% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 28.49% have 11 to 50. Only 23 have more than 1,000. The big names are often a side store: Dave & Buster's sells merchandise through it, Shake Shack its branded goods, AVI-SPL its equipment shop. Toys"R"Us, Burton and Nine West run it on their main store. Age points the same way: 47.4% were founded in the 2010s, the decade direct-to-consumer brands built on Shopify. Wyllo's own customer stories feature Everlane, OluKai and Credo Beauty; Everlane is in our table and loaded the script when I checked.
Sales signal: the buyer is the founder or the head of ecommerce, often one person. They chose an app with a free tier and a flat monthly guarantee, so a long procurement cycle will lose them.
Where they sell, and what
The United States has 1,432 matched companies, Canada 130, the United Kingdom 109 and Australia 68: 1,739 of 1,981, about 88%. By industry the three retail labels cover 35.64%, with Wellness and Fitness Services at 6.47% and Manufacturing at 6.07%. The list reads like a shoe and apparel directory: Nine West, Stride Rite, Rockport, Earth Shoes and Shoe Station, then beauty (bareMinerals, Laura Mercier, ILIA) and outdoor gear (Burton, TYR, Benchmade).
Sales signal: footwear and apparel brands that pay for fraud screening also deal with sizing returns. That is the abuse problem Wyllo bought Yofi to cover, so expect upsell pressure there.
Second scripts
Our switching table for NoFraud is empty, and the reason is useful. 149 domains run NoFraud and Signifyd today, out of 199 ever seen with both. Forter is on 82 (132 ever), TruValidate on 16 (29) and Riskified on just 5 (14). Most stores seen with a pair still run both, so the pair doesn't pass our test for a switch here, though Signifyd's page counts 22 domains moving each way. Some of that is merchants testing a second tool; most pairs have simply stayed.
"Signifyd is the rival NoFraud actually meets: 149 stores run both scripts today. Riskified shares five." - David Thomson, CTO at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: a store carrying both NoFraud and Signifyd may be evaluating, or splitting orders between them. That is the moment either vendor, or a chargeback-management tool, has a real conversation.
The stack around it
Apple Pay runs on 80.7% of NoFraud domains, Shop Pay on 80.19% and PayPal on 72.12%. Google Analytics is on 66.68%. The apps beside it are small-store apps: Instafeed on 16.06%, Hextom on 7.44%, the Pandectes cookie banner on 4.13% and Code Black Belt on 2.75%. Server-side tracking is thin, with Elevar on 2.05%.
Sales signal: these merchants already pay for a guarantee but run little analytics beyond Google's. Attribution and server-side tracking tools have room here.
What it costs
NoFraud's Shopify listing, checked on 15 October 2026, offers screening free to install: the first screened order starts a 14-day trial, then 100 orders a month are free. Guaranteed plans cost $250, $350 or $450 a month, or 1%, 1.25% or 1.5% of revenue if that is higher, for $500, $1,000 or $2,000 of fraud-chargeback cover, for merchants under $50,000 a month; larger stores get custom pricing. The app has a 4.8 rating from 163 reviews.
Sales signal: a percentage-of-revenue price grows with the store. A merchant passing $50,000 a month is moving onto custom pricing, which is when rivals get a hearing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who uses NoFraud?
Mostly small and mid-sized Shopify brands. Our crawl finds NoFraud's script on 6,382 live domains, and Shopify runs on 98.0% of them. 55.2% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees. Recognisable users include Toys"R"Us, Burton, Nine West, bareMinerals, Laura Mercier and Everlane, plus branded side stores such as Dave & Buster's merchandise shop and Shake Shack's store.
How many customers does NoFraud have?
Our October 2026 crawl finds NoFraud's script on 6,382 live domains, 1,981 of them matched to a company. Domains run ahead of stores: where we could read the store name in the script address, 4,494 domains belonged to 3,433 stores, about 1.3 domains each. Since 16 March 2026, 1,439 domains have dropped it, and 198 of those still run it on another hostname.
What is NoFraud's market share?
4.23% of Fraud Prevention, 5th of the 32 tools we track there, on 6,382 domains. The two leaders, Google Ad Traffic Quality and ClickCease, block click fraud on ads rather than review orders. Among order-fraud vendors only Forter (21,652 domains) counts more; Signifyd (3,769), Riskified (1,665) and Sift (1,539) count fewer, the last two after removing pages that platforms run on their own accounts.
What are the best alternatives to NoFraud?
For a Shopify store, Signifyd is the closest match: it also guarantees approved orders, runs on 3,769 domains in our crawl and shares 149 live domains with NoFraud. Forter and Riskified sell mostly to larger merchants. Shopify's built-in fraud analysis is the free baseline every store already has. Merchants worried about returns abuse rather than stolen cards now get that from Wyllo itself.
Which countries use NoFraud the most?
The United States, with 1,432 matched companies, then Canada (130), the United Kingdom (109) and Australia (68). Those four countries hold 1,739 of the 1,981 companies we matched, about 88%. No other country reaches 20; Italy has 17 and India 15. That is what a Shopify app sold mainly to English-speaking merchants looks like in our data.
What size companies use NoFraud?
Mostly small ones. 55.2% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 28.49% have 11 to 50, so 83.69% have 50 staff or fewer. 197 have 51 to 200. Only 23 have more than 1,000, including Toys"R"Us, Dave & Buster's and Shake Shack, and the last two run NoFraud on a merchandise store rather than their main site.
How old are companies that use NoFraud?
Among the NoFraud domains we could match to a company with a known founding date, the largest group was founded in the 2010s (47.4%), followed by the 2000s (15.39%). That matched subset is drawn from 1,981 companies and is not representative of all 6,382 detected domains. This suggests NoFraud is most popular among relatively young companies.
What is the ideal customer profile for NoFraud?
The ideal NoFraud customer is: Company Size: 1-10 employees (55.2%), then 11-50, Location: US, then Canada, UK and Australia, Founded: 2010-2019 (47.4%), Industry: Apparel, footwear, beauty and gear, Store: Shopify store with Shop Pay and PayPal — based on our analysis of 1,981 enriched companies at TechnologyChecker.io.
What does NoFraud do?
It screens online orders for payment fraud. A script on the store collects device and session data, and NoFraud scores each order to approve, decline or hold it for review. On guaranteed plans it reimburses fraud chargebacks on orders it passed. Its Shopify listing now also covers bot and reseller detection, returns abuse and policy abuse, which came with the Yofi acquisition.
Is NoFraud now Wyllo?
Yes. NoFraud announced on 19 March 2026 that it was rebranding as Wyllo, after acquiring the post-purchase risk platform Yofi. Its Shopify App Store listing now reads "Wyllo (NoFraud + Yofi)". The script stores load still comes from services.nofraud.com and the developer docs still sit on developers.nofraud.com, so our crawl reports it under the NoFraud name.
Is NoFraud legit?
Yes. NoFraud is a real fraud-screening company, now called Wyllo, and its script runs on 6,382 live store domains in our crawl, including Burton, Nine West and Toys"R"Us. Its Shopify app has a 4.8 rating from 163 reviews. A verification email or text from NoFraud about an order you placed is usually genuine, but it should never ask for your full card number.
Why did I get an email from NoFraud?
Because a store that uses NoFraud flagged your order for a check. Merchant help pages, such as CrystalClear's, explain that NoFraud contacts shoppers when an order shows irregular characteristics or elevated risk, to confirm the cardholder placed it. Once you confirm, there is usually nothing else to do. NoFraud says it never asks for your full card number or social security number.
How much does NoFraud cost?
On Shopify, screening alone is free to install, with a 14-day trial from the first screened order and then 100 free orders a month. Guaranteed plans cost $250, $350 or $450 a month, or 1%, 1.25% or 1.5% of revenue if higher, for $500, $1,000 or $2,000 of cover, for merchants under $50,000 a month. Larger stores get custom pricing. Checked 15 October 2026.
Does NoFraud work with Shopify and BigCommerce?
Yes, both, plus Adobe Commerce and a direct API, according to Wyllo's install page. In our crawl the Shopify app dominates: Shopify runs on 98.0% of NoFraud domains, and on 4,392 of the 4,494 domains where we could read the script address it was the Shopify version. BigCommerce shows up on only 48 domains, under 1%.
NoFraud vs Signifyd: which is more widely used?
NoFraud, by domains. Our crawl finds it on 6,382 live domains against Signifyd's 3,769. Both are mostly Shopify stores and both guarantee approved orders against fraud chargebacks. Signifyd is also the fraud tool NoFraud's stores pair it with most often: 149 domains run both today, out of 199 ever seen with both, so many merchants test one beside the other.
Does NoFraud offer a chargeback guarantee?
Yes, as an option. Its Shopify listing sells a screening-only plan without one, then three guaranteed plans covering $500, $1,000 or $2,000 of fraud chargebacks a month on orders NoFraud approved, from $250 a month. Expert manual review and branded verification are optional add-ons on the guaranteed plans. Checked 15 October 2026.
