Companies Using Spider AF
Our October 2026 crawl finds Spider AF on 1,594 live domains. Spider AF is Spider Labs' ad-fraud tool: a tag on the advertiser's site sends each ad visit to Spider AF, which flags invalid clicks and fake leads and blocks their sources on Google, Yahoo, Meta and Microsoft ads. Below is the list of companies that use Spider AF, with size, country, industry and stack. Named users include freee, Bridgestone's tyre store, Sekisui House, SmartRecruiters, Bonmarché and Science Centre Singapore.
Spider AF is a Japanese tool with a second home in Singapore: Japan has 248 matched companies and Singapore 99, against 39 in the United States. It ranks 12th of the 32 technologies in Fraud Prevention with a 1.06% share. The count is cleaned. We removed 166 publisher domains, mostly Japanese and Indonesian news sites and blogs, that load Spider AF only through Geniee's ad delivery, so they aren't Spider AF customers. How We Counted, at the bottom of this page, gives the detail.

Spider AF Usage Statistics
Spider AF runs on 1,594 live domains in our October 2026 crawl, after the cleaning described in How We Counted. The chart shows that one reading because the cleaned count starts here: earlier monthly totals included the Geniee publisher pages, and they also moved with our crawl, whose domain set turns over every month while our detection signals widen. Exits so far are few. 135 domains have dropped Spider AF on at least one hostname since 4 August 2026, and about 49 of those still run it on another hostname.

Which Countries Use Spider AF the Most?
Which countries use Spider AF the most? Japan, with 248 matched companies, then Singapore (99) and the United States (39). Nobody else reaches ten: the United Kingdom and Australia have 5 each. Japan and Singapore together hold 347 of the 444 matched companies. Singapore's count is real usage, not one account: nearly all the Singapore sites we could read carry their own account id.
Share of the 444 Spider AF domains we matched to a company record — 27.9% of the 1,594 we detect. Top 15 countries shown, so these do not sum to 100%. Domains with no matching company record are not represented here and skew small and independent.
Spider AF Market Share Among Fraud Prevention
What is Spider AF's market share? 1.06% of Fraud Prevention, 12th of the 32 technologies we track there, on 1,594 cleaned domains in our October 2026 crawl at TechnologyChecker.io. Among click-fraud tools an advertiser buys, it sits behind ClickCease (33,001) and Fraud Blocker (5,113) and 123 domains ahead of ClickGUARD (1,471). Those three are built around English-speaking markets; Spider AF's base is Japanese.
Top Competitors by Market Share
Spider AF Customers by Company Size & Age
What size companies use Spider AF? Bigger ones than most click-fraud tools serve. 26.87% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees, 27.65% have 11 to 50 and 22.74% have 51 to 200, and 88 of the 387 with a known size have more than 200 staff. On Fraud Blocker's profile fewer than 4% are that large. Large users include Bridgestone, Sekisui House, Benesse and freee.
Company Size Distribution
Company Age (Founded Decade)
The largest group of matched companies was founded in the 2010s (37.71%), then the 2000s (22.46%) and the 1990s (10.59%). Only 8.05% date from the 2020s, and 4.66% predate 1960. That is an older base than the click-fraud tools sold to small advertisers, in line with the Japanese enterprises and Singapore institutions on the list.
What Industries Use Spider AF the Most?
Retail leads at 8%, then Facilities Services (4.86%), IT Services and IT Consulting (4.57%) and Software Development (4%), based on our enriched company data. No industry goes above 8%. The list itself shows a pattern the industry labels hide: recruitment. Staffing and HR firms take about one in five places in our top 50.
Recruitment firms using Spider AF include JAC Recruitment, Apex, Resocia, Wantedly and SmartRecruiters, all buyers of job-seeker leads, where fake sign-ups cost money. Japanese brands on Spider AF include freee, Benesse and Sekisui House. Singapore organisations using Spider AF include RHB, Science Centre Singapore and Timezone.
Spider AF Alternatives & Competitors
This table keeps to tools that fight ad fraud and bots. ClickCease (33,001 domains, 21.86%) is the category's click-fraud leader, and Spider AF shares sites with it more than it replaces it: 52 domains run both today, of 57 ever seen with both. Fraud Blocker (5,113) and ClickGUARD (1,471) sell to English-speaking advertisers; Blocky (2,506) blocks visitors on Shopify and Wix stores rather than ad clicks.

How We Counted Spider AF Customers
A domain counts here if a page on it loads Spider AF's tag. Advertisers install it themselves, and it reports each visit to sp-trk.com under the account id in sptrk('config', ...). A second loader, sp-gn.com, reaches pages another way: on the domains where it appears, the site carries Geniee's ad tag, and Geniee announced in December 2022 that its DSP would use Spider AF's IP blocklist. No domain in our data loads both.
Our crawl matched the rule on 1,766 live domains. Six carried for-sale or gambling page titles and were removed. We then removed 166 domains that load only sp-gn.com: Japanese and Indonesian news sites, blogs and forums, 120 of the 140 we could fetch carrying Geniee's ad tag. None of the 25 we rendered in a browser loaded Spider AF, so the tag arrives with Geniee's ads, and the publisher isn't a Spider AF customer.
That leaves 1,594 domains, and every chart and table on this page uses them except the stack table, which was built on 1,597. The 1,594 is higher than the 1,550 our Fraud Prevention category table lists for Spider AF. That table switches to a profile's cleaned count only when it is lower than the published total, so it keeps 1,550 (1.03%) here. Spider AF is 12th of 32 either way, with 1.06% on this page's count. Across the 1,594, we could read the account id on 1,142 domains, from the page or the site's Google Tag Manager container, and they belong to 877 accounts.
Expert Analysis: Spider AF Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

Spider AF is a Japanese ad-fraud tool, and its tag is easy to read. Advertisers install a snippet that calls sptrk('config', ...) with an account id, and the visit report goes to sp-trk.com under that id. After cleaning, our October 2026 crawl finds 1,594 live domains, 12th of 32 in the category. Reading the accounts is also what forced the cleaning, so I'll start there.
Whose tag is it?
The tag reaches pages from two addresses. sp-trk.com is the advertiser's own install. sp-gn.com is a second loader, and the two never overlap: 166 domains load only sp-gn.com. They are publishers, Japanese and Indonesian news sites, blogs and forums, and 120 of the 140 I fetched carry Geniee's ad tag. Geniee, the Tokyo ad platform, announced in December 2022 that its DSP would use Spider AF's IP blocklist. None of the 25 such pages that rendered in our browser loaded Spider AF, which fits a tag that arrives with Geniee's ads rather than with the site. Those 166 domains, 9.43% of the 1,760 left after title filtering, aren't Spider AF customers, and we removed them from every count on this page.
Sales signal: if you build a Spider AF list from raw tag data elsewhere, drop publisher and news domains first. A Japanese news site carrying the tag is usually a Geniee publisher, not an advertiser that bought fraud protection.
Accounts behind the advertisers
On the other side, I could read the account id on 1,142 domains, from the page itself or from the site's Google Tag Manager container, and they belong to 877 accounts, about 1.3 domains each; 698 accounts sit on one domain. The large accounts are single businesses: 28 domains of a knee-joint and cosmetic clinic group, 13 sites for Brillia-branded condominium developments, 11 osteopathic clinics and 10 wedding-photo studios. One account looks like an agency's, covering 18 unrelated brands from Iittala and Arabia's Japanese store to Dr.stretch. To test the tag, I opened 60 random advertiser domains: 54 rendered and 45 sent Spider AF's visit report, and two more carried the tag in Google Tag Manager.
Sales signal: roughly 900 accounts is the real prospect count, and most of them actively report traffic: 45 of the 54 sampled pages that rendered.
Reading the trend
The chart shows a single October reading, because the cleaned count starts there; earlier monthly totals included the Geniee pages. Those totals also moved with our crawl: the set of domains we crawl turns over every month, and the signals we detect Spider AF with have widened, so I wouldn't read them as adoption anyway. Exits are low: 135 domains dropped Spider AF on at least one hostname since 4 August 2026, and about 49 of them still run it on another hostname.
"Spider AF's list reads like a Japanese marketing department's: recruiters, housebuilders, education groups. These buyers pay for leads as well as clicks, and they protect both." - Emma Davies, Data Analyst at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: low churn means few switching windows. Target new advertisers in the same verticals rather than waiting for these to leave.
Who buys it
Spider AF's buyers are bigger than the click-fraud norm. 88 of the 387 matched companies with a known size have more than 200 staff, against under 4% at Fraud Blocker. Bridgestone runs it on its tyre store, Sekisui House on its owners' portal, Benesse on its corporate site and freee on its main site. Recruitment stands out: about one in five of the 50 companies on our list are staffing or HR firms, from JAC Recruitment to SmartRecruiters. Founding years are older too, with 37.71% in the 2010s and only 8.05% in the 2020s. Spider Labs' about page claims more than 600 companies protected as of May 2026; on the domains we could check, we read 877 account ids.
Sales signal: sell to the marketing or recruitment-marketing team of a mid-sized company. These buyers have budgets and procurement, so a $150-a-month tool is a line item, not a gamble.
Japan and Singapore
Japan has 248 of the 444 matched companies and Singapore 99; the United States has 39 and no other country reaches ten. Singapore's count is spread across separate accounts: banks (RHB), schools (Kinderland, Seriously Addictive Maths), attractions (Science Centre Singapore, Timezone) and clinics. Retail leads the industry data at 8%, and no industry goes above it.
Sales signal: Singapore is the best English-language list here. For anything sold to performance marketers in Southeast Asia, these 99 organisations already pay for traffic verification.
Next to ClickCease
We have no switching flow to report. 52 domains run Spider AF and ClickCease today, of 57 ever seen with both, so where they meet, advertisers keep both. ClickCease is 33,001 domains to Spider AF's 1,594, but it serves a different market.
"When 52 of the 57 sites that ever ran both tags still run both, nobody is switching. These advertisers want a second opinion on their traffic." - Emma Davies, Data Analyst at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: the 52 dual-tag sites spend enough on ads to pay for two fraud tools, which makes them prime prospects for anything that cuts wasted ad spend.
The stack around it
On the 1,597 domains behind our stack figures, Google Analytics runs on 98.43%, DoubleClick Floodlight on 72.7%, Yahoo Advertising on 56.61% and Microsoft Advertising on 47.65%. Intimate Merger (24.05%) and Criteo (22.17%) point to Japanese audience data and retargeting. WordPress carries 37.07%, and Shopify only 5.57%.
Sales signal: advertisers on Yahoo's network are the core. Agencies and tools that manage Yahoo and Google search side by side will find most of their market here.
What it costs
Spider AF's pricing page, read on 15 October 2026, lists Performance at $150 a month billed monthly, or $120 billed annually, for up to 50,000 clicks, Elite at $990 or $790 for up to 150,000, and custom Enterprise pricing above a million clicks, with a 14-day free trial. That starting price is about twice Fraud Blocker's $79.
Key takeaways

- Japan (248) and Singapore (99) hold most matched companies.
- Larger buyers than most click-fraud tools: 88 of 387 sized companies have over 200 staff.
- Recruiters, housebuilders and education groups stand out.

Because their ads do. 166 domains in our crawl, mostly Japanese and Indonesian news and blog sites, load Spider AF from a separate address, sp-gn.com, and 120 of 140 we fetched carry Geniee's ad tag.
