Companies Using AdDaptive (DPM)

AdDaptive (DPM) is the site pixel of AdDaptive Intelligence, a B2B account-based advertising company in Woburn, Massachusetts, and our October 2026 crawl finds it on 689 live domains. DPM is the old name. The company started in 2010 as DataPoint Media, and its script still loads from dpmsrv.com. The list of companies that use AdDaptive (DPM) below mixes two kinds of site. Advertisers such as Travelers, Orkin, Black & Veatch and Bayada Home Health Care use it to reach and measure business accounts. B2B publishers and event organisers such as Adweek, Accounting Today and Hotel Management run it so AdDaptive can turn their readers into audience segments, and 336 of the 689 domains sit on their accounts.

We file AdDaptive under Retargeting & Remarketing, where it ranks 14th with a 0.65% share. Most tools in that table are retargeting networks. The tags we find next to AdDaptive point to account-based marketing instead: about a fifth of the 689 domains also load Bombora, and 156 load StackAdapt. Before counting, we took out 76 domains whose tag runs under an agency's or Zendesk's account rather than the site owner's. The How We Counted note at the bottom of the page explains the cut.

AdDaptive (DPM) Usage Statistics

Our October 2026 crawl reads AdDaptive (DPM) on 689 domains. The chart has a single point because we rebuilt the count that month, after removing 76 domains on agency and Zendesk accounts, and the earlier monthly totals were taken on the uncut set. The tag still works: all 96 AdDaptive accounts left in the count served their script when we requested each one on 15 October 2026, and the pixel fired on 35 of the 48 pages that loaded in a browser sample. Since we began tracking it on 4 August 2026, 220 domains have dropped it on at least one hostname, and 41 of those still run it on another.

AdDaptive (DPM) Market Share Among Retargeting & Remarketing

What is AdDaptive (DPM)'s market share? 0.65% of Retargeting & Remarketing, 14th in our live crawl at TechnologyChecker.io. It isn't a like-for-like table. The leader, RTB House (49,530 domains, 47.03%), is a retargeting ad network, and Seznam Sklik (14,269, 13.55%) is the Czech search engine's ad code. AdDaptive sells account-based campaigns to B2B brands and builds audiences from B2B publishers, so read its 689 as a footprint, not as a result against those networks.

AdDaptive (DPM) Customers by Company Size & Age

What size companies use AdDaptive (DPM)? The chart leans small: 31.87% of matched companies list 1 to 10 employees and 29.67% list 11 to 50. Read that with care. At least 62 of the 116 in the smallest band are magazine, newsletter or event brands on a publisher's account, matched to the brand's own small LinkedIn page rather than to the publisher. 28 matched companies have more than 1,000 staff, including Travelers, Indiana University and Black & Veatch.

Company Size Distribution

Company Age (Founded Decade)

The largest group of matched companies was founded in the 2010s (27.22%), but the second is before 1960 (19.44%), ahead of the 2000s (16.67%). Old institutions carry that band: Indiana University (1820), Travelers (1853), Orkin (1901) and Black & Veatch (1915) are all on the list. Only 180 of the 376 matched companies have a founding year, so treat the split as a pointer.

What Industries Use AdDaptive (DPM) the Most?

Insurance leads at 12.28%, and most of it is one customer: 29 of the 42 insurance companies are agencies on Marsh McLennan Agency's AdDaptive account, many with old domains that now forward to marshmma.com. Book and Periodical Publishing is second at 9.36%. Add Online Audio and Video Media (4.97%), Media Production (4.09%) and Events Services (2.34%), and media and events make up 71 of the 342 matched companies with an industry (20.76%). That is the publisher side of AdDaptive's business, based on our enriched company data.

How We Counted AdDaptive (DPM) Customers

A domain counts here when a page on it loads AdDaptive's script from dpmsrv.com: s.dpmsrv.com/dpm_ plus a 40-character account ID, which then reports to a.dpmsrv.com. Every account's script carries the same AppNexus, Trade Desk and MediaMath IDs, which are AdDaptive's own, so the part that changes from site to site is the account. That makes the account the thing to check, and our crawl recorded it on 642 of the 765 domains we found.

We removed 76 domains before computing anything. 67 sit on ten accounts that each span unrelated companies, mostly agencies running AdDaptive for their clients under the agency's own account; the largest covers 22 domains belonging to several unrelated software companies. The other 9 are help-centre and customer pages hosted by Zendesk, which carry Zendesk's account rather than the site owner's. Every chart and table on this page uses the remaining 689.

We kept the publishers. 336 of the 566 cleaned domains whose account we could read (59.4%) sit on accounts held by B2B publishers and event organisers, led by Questex (86 domains) and Informa TechTarget (67). They installed the tag themselves, so they count, but AdDaptive's publisher page describes them as a source of audience segments rather than as ad buyers. Two more limits apply. One account can cover many domains (Marsh McLennan Agency's spans 56 and Orkin's 46), so the 689 domains belong to far fewer organisations. And we could not read the account on 123 of the 689, so the publisher share is measured on the 566 we could read.

Expert Analysis: AdDaptive (DPM) Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

Sophie Clarke
Sophie ClarkeProduct Marketing Manager, TechnologyChecker

I've spent years helping sales teams read technographic signals, and the dpmsrv.com tag is one of the odder entries in our Retargeting & Remarketing category. Our October 2026 crawl finds it on 689 live domains, 376 of them matched to a company. It belongs to AdDaptive Intelligence, which started in 2010 as DataPoint Media and now sells account-based advertising to B2B brands, to the agencies that represent them and to publishers. All three show up in our data, and each means something different to a seller working this list.

What the tag does

Each site loads a small script named after its account: s.dpmsrv.com/dpm_ followed by a 40-character ID. The script reports page views to a.dpmsrv.com and hands the visitor on to three ad platforms, AppNexus, The Trade Desk and MediaMath. The IDs it uses on those platforms were identical on every account I opened, so they are AdDaptive's own seats. Put simply, the tag adds a site's visitors to audiences that AdDaptive can then buy media against. On 34 of the 35 pages where I watched the pixel fire, the same page also called AppNexus, which is why AppNexus appears on 57.18% of these domains in the tech stack table.

Sales Signal: a dpmsrv.com tag tells you a B2B marketer, or a B2B publisher, already pays for account-level targeting. For anyone selling intent data, ABM measurement or B2B media, that is a warmer start than a cold retargeting prospect.

Two businesses behind one tag

The account ID is the part to read. Our crawl recorded it on 566 of the 689 domains, and 336 of those (59.4%) sit on accounts held by B2B publishers and event organisers. Questex runs one account across 86 event and magazine sites, Hotel Management among them. Informa TechTarget runs another across 67, and an aviation and boating magazine group runs a third across 32. Accounting Today and Financial Planning share one. These publishers aren't buying retargeting. AdDaptive's publisher page describes turning their readers into named audience segments that advertisers pay a premium for, with revenue going back to the publisher.

Half of what looks like an advertiser list is AdDaptive's supply side: trade titles whose readers it packages for B2B advertisers.

The other half is advertisers, and they look like classic account-based buyers. Travelers runs one account across travelers.com, Corvus and Northland Insurance. Marsh McLennan Agency's covers 56 domains, many of them agency names that now forward to marshmma.com, which is why Insurance tops the industry chart at 12.28%, with 29 of its 42 companies on that one account. Orkin's covers 46. Black & Veatch, Bayada Home Health Care, Vestis, Lincoln Property Company and Barracuda run their own.

Sales Signal: split the list before you work it. Publisher domains are a partnership or data-supply conversation, and advertiser domains are a demand-generation one. Sending the same sequence to both wastes half your touches.

Who the advertisers are

The size chart says small: 31.87% of matched companies list 1 to 10 employees and 29.67% list 11 to 50. I don't trust that reading here. At least 62 of the 116 companies in the smallest band are magazine, newsletter or event brands whose own small LinkedIn page we matched instead of the publisher behind them. The advertiser side includes plenty of large firms: 28 matched companies have more than 1,000 staff, among them Travelers, Indiana University and Black & Veatch. The age chart points the same way. The 2010s lead at 27.22%, but companies founded before 1960 come second at 19.44%, with Indiana University (1820), Travelers (1853), Orkin (1901) and Black & Veatch (1915) in that band.

Geography is narrow. 317 of the 355 matched companies with a country are American (89.3%), with 15 in the United Kingdom and 8 in Canada. Universities form a small, recognisable cluster: Indiana University, SAIT in Calgary and the University of Washington's business school all load the pixel.

Sales Signal: the advertiser half is a US list of established B2B firms in insurance, professional services, engineering and higher education. If you sell to account-based marketing teams in those sectors, it is close to a ready-made target list once the publisher brands are taken out.

The stack around it

The tech stack percentages are of the 689 domains in the cleaned count. Google Analytics is on 99.27% and DoubleClick Floodlight on 73%, so these are measured, paid-media sites. The more telling overlaps are account-based. About a fifth of the 689 domains also load Bombora, and 156 load StackAdapt. Full ABM platforms are rarer: Demandbase appears on 17 and 6sense on 15. RTB House, the category leader, runs alongside AdDaptive on 24 domains today. On the CMS side, Drupal (15.53%), Drupal Multisite (14.8%) and Adobe Experience Manager (13.5%) point to publisher and enterprise sites.

Only 17 AdDaptive domains also run Demandbase and 15 run 6sense. For the big ABM platforms, almost all of this list is unclaimed.

Sales Signal: Bombora on about a fifth of these domains means intent data is already in the building, so lead with what you add on top of it rather than with intent itself. The thin Demandbase and 6sense overlap is the opening for anyone selling a full ABM platform.

Where the count is thin

We removed 76 domains before counting: 67 on ten agency or shared accounts that span unrelated companies, and 9 Zendesk-hosted pages carrying Zendesk's own account. Agencies do use AdDaptive, and its agency page offers campaigns that run behind the agency's name, but on those domains the agency holds the account, not the site. Domains also overstate organisations, because one account can cover dozens of brand or alias domains. And churn data is young. Since we began tracking on 4 August 2026, 220 domains have dropped the tag on at least one hostname, and 41 of those still run it elsewhere.

The tag itself is alive. Every one of the 96 accounts left after the cleanup returned its script when I requested it on 15 October 2026, and in a browser sample of 53 domains the pixel fired on 35 of the 48 pages that loaded. Eleven of the others were old domains forwarding to a parent site where the tag didn't fire in my session.

Key takeaways

  1. AdDaptive (DPM) is on 689 domains in our October 2026 crawl, 14th in Retargeting & Remarketing with 0.65%, but it is an account-based advertising platform rather than a retargeting network.
  2. 336 of the 566 domains with a readable account belong to B2B publishers and event organisers that supply audiences.
  3. The advertiser side is American, established and B2B, led by insurance, with Travelers, Marsh McLennan Agency and Orkin each running multi-domain accounts.
  4. Bombora (about a fifth of the domains) and StackAdapt (156) are the common neighbours; Demandbase (17) and 6sense (15) are rare.

Sales applications

Outreach template: "Your site runs AdDaptive's account-based pixel next to Bombora, so you're already buying account-level media and intent. We help teams like yours [your value], and we can show it against the accounts you already target."

Targeting: on TechnologyChecker.io, filter AdDaptive (DPM) to the United States and to Insurance, Engineering Services or Higher Education, then drop the domains whose company is a magazine or event brand. What remains is the advertiser half.

Publisher angle: if you sell audience or data partnerships, start with the publisher half. Questex, Informa TechTarget and the Accounting Today group already package their readers for B2B demand.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who uses AdDaptive (DPM)?

Two groups. Advertisers such as Travelers, Orkin, Black & Veatch and Bayada Home Health Care use it to reach and measure business accounts. B2B publishers and event organisers, including Adweek, Accounting Today and Hotel Management, run it so AdDaptive can build audience segments from their readers. Our October 2026 crawl finds the pixel on 689 domains, and 336 of them sit on publisher accounts.

How many customers does AdDaptive (DPM) have?

Our October 2026 crawl finds AdDaptive's pixel on 689 domains, after we removed 76 that ran it under an agency's or Zendesk's account. We matched 376 to a company. Domains aren't customers, though: 96 accounts cover the 566 domains whose account we could read, and one publisher account alone spans 86 sites. Since 4 August 2026, 220 domains have dropped it on at least one hostname.

What is AdDaptive (DPM)'s market share?

0.65% of our Retargeting & Remarketing category, which puts it 14th among the tools we track there. That is a share of domains carrying a category tag, not of ad spend, and the category is led by retargeting networks such as RTB House (47.03%). AdDaptive is an account-based advertising platform, so treat the rank as a measure of footprint rather than a head-to-head result.

What are the best alternatives to AdDaptive (DPM)?

Our category table puts RTB House, Seznam Sklik and Albacross above it, but those tools do different jobs. The account-based platforms closest to AdDaptive's pitch sit in other categories on our site. On AdDaptive's own 689 domains we also find Bombora on about a fifth, StackAdapt on 156, Demandbase on 17 and 6sense on 15, which shows the vendors its customers already pay for.

Which countries use AdDaptive (DPM) the most?

The United States, by a long way. 317 of the 355 matched companies with a known country are American (89.3%), followed by the United Kingdom with 15 and Canada with 8. Germany has 3, and India, Spain and South Africa have 2 each. These counts cover companies we could match to a record, not all 689 domains in our October 2026 crawl.

What size companies use AdDaptive (DPM)?

On paper, small ones: 31.87% of matched companies list 1 to 10 employees and 29.67% list 11 to 50. Much of that is publishing. At least 62 of the 116 companies in the smallest band are magazine or event brands whose own small LinkedIn page we matched instead of the publisher behind them. 28 matched companies have more than 1,000 staff, including Travelers and Indiana University.

How old are companies that use AdDaptive (DPM)?

The biggest group was founded in the 2010s (27.22%), but the second biggest predates 1960 (19.44%), ahead of the 2000s at 16.67%. Indiana University (1820), Travelers (1853), Orkin (1901) and Black & Veatch (1915) are among the oldest names on the list. Only 180 of the 376 matched companies have a founding year in our data, so read the split as a pointer.

What is the ideal customer profile for AdDaptive (DPM)?

The ideal AdDaptive (DPM) customer is: Company Size: 1-10 and 11-50 employees, many of them publisher brands, Location: United States (317 of 355), then UK and Canada, Industry: Insurance, B2B publishing and IT services, Founded: 2010-2019, then before 1960, Site stack: Google Analytics and DoubleClick Floodlight, often on Drupal or WordPress — based on our analysis of 376 enriched companies at TechnologyChecker.io.

What is dpmsrv.com?

dpmsrv.com is AdDaptive Intelligence's ad server. A site loads s.dpmsrv.com/dpm_ followed by a 40-character account ID, and that script reports page views to a.dpmsrv.com, sets cookies named dpm_pxl and dpm_uid, and passes visitors to AppNexus, The Trade Desk and MediaMath for ad targeting. It is a marketing pixel, not malware. The dpm prefix matches DataPoint Media, the company's original name.

Is AdDaptive the same as Adaptive?

No. AdDaptive Intelligence spells its name with two Ds, from Ad plus Daptive, and its FAQ page says it is unrelated to the companies that use the word Adaptive in their names. Search engines often correct the spelling, so a search for AdDaptive tends to return pages about adaptive intelligence. In our data the company appears as AdDaptive (DPM), after the dpmsrv.com script its customers install.

What happened to DataPoint Media?

DataPoint Media is AdDaptive Intelligence's original name. The company says it started in 2010 as DataPoint Media and was rebuilt around account-based advertising, and datapointmedia.com now forwards to addaptive.com. The rename didn't change the tag. Sites still load the dpmsrv.com script, which is why our catalogue shows DPM beside the AdDaptive name and why security forums still ask what dpmsrv.com is.

How much does AdDaptive Intelligence cost?

AdDaptive doesn't publish a price list, and its website has no pricing page. In a June 2025 press release the company said it was moving to a flexible, consumption-based pricing model. Campaigns run across display, native, video, HTML5, connected TV, streaming audio and digital out-of-home, according to its FAQ, so expect to ask its sales team for a quote.

Who does AdDaptive work with?

Brands, agencies and publishers, by its own description, and our crawl sees all three. 336 of the 689 domains carry publisher accounts, where the tag turns readers into segments. Advertisers such as Travelers and Orkin run their own accounts. Agencies use it too: we removed 67 domains on agency or shared accounts that spanned unrelated companies, because the agency, not the site owner, holds those accounts.

What are the top Account Based Marketing platforms?

We don't rank ABM platforms as one category, so here is what our published profiles count. Demandbase's tag is on 9,754 domains, 6sense's on 6,634 and AdDaptive's on 689, while StackAdapt's is on 30,178. Each count is a different tag doing a different job, so compare reach rather than market share, and check which of them already sits on a prospect's site.

Does the AdDaptive pixel still work?

On the sites in our count, yes. We requested the script of all 96 accounts left after our cleanup on 15 October 2026, and every one returned it. In a browser sample of 53 domains, 48 pages loaded and the pixel fired on 35. Eleven of the other 13 were old domains that now forward to a parent site, where the tag didn't fire in our session.
