RTB House Usage Statistics

RTB House first appears in our detection history in January 2014 on four domains, two years after the company launched in Warsaw. The chart needs reading in two halves. Our long-run history peaks at 2,074 active domains in April 2025 before that feed degraded, while our own crawler now finds 32,631. The step at the 2026 seam is a measurement change rather than a year of adoption, and the move up from 20,677 in June reflects coverage that was still expanding.

RTB House Market Share Among Retargeting & Remarketing

What is RTB House's market share? RTB House holds a 68.72% share of the Retargeting & Remarketing market, ranking #1 of the 20 vendors we track in that category, based on our monthly crawl at TechnologyChecker.io. That lead comes with a caveat: Criteo chases the same budgets from our Ad Networks category, where it runs on 111,163 domains. Read the 68.72% as category-relative, not as leadership of retargeting overall.

RTB House Customers by Company Size & Age

Is RTB House only for large advertisers? The size split says no, with 54.27% of RTB House customers having 1-10 employees across our 12,584 enriched companies. Set that against the company list, where 54 of the 60 largest detections employ more than 1,000 people. The tag reaches a long tail of small sites while the media spend concentrates in enterprises like LG, Santander Brasil and Falabella.

What Industries Use RTB House the Most?

Retail is the dominant industry at 6.89%, followed by Newspaper Publishing (4.69%) and Broadcast Media (4.64%). No single industry passes 7%. Group the media verticals together and they reach 20.1%, more than retail itself, which is unusual for a retargeting product and points at publisher inventory rather than campaign spend, based on our enriched company data at TechnologyChecker.io.

Retail718 (6.89%)
Newspaper Publishing489 (4.69%)
Broadcast Media Production and Distribution484 (4.64%)
Restaurants474 (4.55%)

Book and Periodical Publishing318 (3.05%)

Retail brands using RTB House make up the largest single vertical at 6.89%, led by Magazine Luiza, Riachuelo and Casas Bahia in Brazil. Publishing companies on RTB House such as the Wall Street Journal and Radio Canada sit on the supply side of programmatic, so their detections shouldn't be read as ad budget. Airlines using RTB House like AirAsia, Flydubai and Oman Air show travel brands running the same retargeting stack, based on our enriched company data.

RTB House Alternatives & Competitors

RTB House leads our Retargeting & Remarketing category by a wide margin, based on our market share data. SharpSpring Ads (11.29%) and Albacross (9.14%) are the nearest named vendors, both at a fraction of the scale. The more useful comparison sits outside the category: Criteo runs on 111,163 domains and appears alongside RTB House on 75.83% of its sites, so the two coexist far more often than they replace each other.

RTB House Customer Migration

Across 13,209 domains where we watched RTB House drop off since March 2026, the flows run one way. Amazon Advertising is the largest destination at 2,129 domains against 324 gained, a 6.6:1 loss ratio, while Criteo is close to even at 1,531 gained and 1,227 lost. Read these as co-presence shifts inside a shared programmatic stack rather than vendor swaps, because 81.5% of those churned domains were only ever detected once.

Tech Stack of RTB House-Powered Websites

Based on 12,584 enriched companies, RTB House sites pair the tag with Google Tag Manager (97.32%) and Google Analytics (93.16%) almost universally, and Criteo appears on 75.83% of them. The ecommerce column is the surprise: Shopify reaches only 2.3%, against 18.72% across AdRoll's base, so these are enterprise sites on custom, Salesforce or SAP platforms instead of hosted storefronts.

Expert Analysis: RTB House Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

Mehmet Suleyman
Mehmet SuleymanCEO & Co-founder, TechnologyChecker

I've spent more than a decade building web crawlers and working with technographic data. This analysis covers 32,631 domains running RTB House as of our July 2026 crawl, of which 12,584 matched to a LinkedIn company record. That match rate of 36.9% is low next to the 57% to 66% we usually see, and working out why turned out to be the most useful thing in this dataset.

Growth trajectory

Our detection history starts in January 2014 on four domains, two years after the company was founded in Warsaw. It climbs slowly for a decade to about 2,074 active domains by April 2025. Then our own crawler reports 32,631. Those two numbers describe the same company measured two different ways, and the gap is the finding: the earlier feed never saw most RTB House deployments. Anyone reading the 2026 step as a growth explosion is reading a coverage change. For how our detection works and where it has limits, see our technology detection methods breakdown.

"The most interesting number on this page is the one that looks like growth and isn't. RTB House goes from 1,128 to 32,631 in our data without necessarily adding a single customer in between." - Mehmet Suleyman, CEO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker

Sales Signal: Treat this as a mature market rather than an expanding one. The timing signal worth acting on isn't RTB House's growth curve, it's the 13,209 domains that dropped the tag since March 2026, and the reasons behind them.

Customer profile

The size distribution and the company list disagree, and both are correct. 54.27% of enriched customers have 1-10 employees, yet 54 of the 60 largest detections employ more than 1,000 people. RTB House sits on a barbell: a thin head of large advertisers carrying the media spend, and a long tail of small sites carrying a tag. On age, 38.99% were founded in the 2010s while 8.89% predate 1960, which is the newspaper and broadcaster cohort surfacing again.

RTB House publishes client work rather than a public customer list, so our detections are the primary evidence here. Named enterprises include LG, Magazine Luiza, Santander Brasil, Falabella and Bed Bath & Beyond. Several detections sit on subdomains with nothing to do with shopping, such as careers.neom.com and taxinvoice.airasia.com, which confirms the tag ships site-wide through a container rather than per campaign.

Sales Signal: Qualify on the head, not the distribution. The 1-10 employee majority is mostly incidental tag presence, so filter for companies above 1,000 employees in retail, banking, telecoms and travel if you're selling anything priced against ad budget.

Industry and geographic concentration

Retail leads at 6.89%. Add Newspaper Publishing (4.69%), Broadcast Media (4.64%), Book and Periodical Publishing (3.05%), Online Audio and Video (2.83%) and Media Production (2.45%) and the media cluster reaches 20.1%. That's larger than retail, and it isn't what a retargeting vendor's customer base should look like. Publishers sit on the inventory side of programmatic, so a DSP tag there is usually cookie syncing. Geographically the United States holds 41.63%, while Brazil (4.64%) and India (4.62%) both outrank Poland at 1.8%.

Sales Signal: Latin America is the concentration nobody expects from a Polish vendor. Sixteen of our 60 largest detections are Brazilian, so localised commerce, payments and measurement tooling has a warm audience in that segment.

Migration patterns

The churn direction is clear and it doesn't favour RTB House. Amazon Advertising now runs on 2,129 domains that dropped RTB House against 324 moving the other way, a 6.6:1 loss ratio. Criteo is close to balanced at 1,531 gained and 1,227 lost. Taboola shows 959 out against 253 in. Across every counterparty we recorded 2,654 gained and 5,428 lost.

One caveat outweighs all of those ratios. 81.5% of the domains that dropped RTB House had been detected exactly once, across an average of 2.67 scans, and only 493 were seen three or more times before disappearing. The same measure is 47.8% for Shopify and 62% for Tidio. A tag that intermittent is usually consent-gated or conditionally loaded, so most of these aren't cancelled contracts.

"When four in five departures are single sightings, you're measuring your own crawl as much as the market. We report the number and the caveat together, because the ratio alone would mislead." - Mehmet Suleyman, CEO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker

Sales Signal: The Amazon Advertising corridor is the real one, and it's two-sided. Retail media budgets moving to Amazon create demand for measurement and incrementality tooling on the way in, and retention offers on the way out.

Technology ecosystem

Google Tag Manager appears on 97.32% of RTB House domains and Google Analytics on 93.16%. Adobe Experience Platform Launch reaches 38.16% and Snowplow Analytics 24.98%, both enterprise choices rather than SMB defaults. The ecommerce column is the surprise: Shopify reaches only 2.3% against 18.72% across AdRoll's base. Publisher measurement shows up too, with comScore at 6.47% and Chartbeat at 2.59%, backing the media cluster above. On consent, Funding Choices covers 21.66% and OneTrust 4.16%.

Sales Signal: Consent tooling is the gap. Roughly two thirds of these domains show no consent platform we recognise, which is both a compliance exposure for them and the reason their retargeting reach is inconsistent. Browser-level blocking compounds it, as our Safari market share analysis shows.

Third-party review signals

RTB House has almost no public review footprint. Gartner Peer Insights lists it at 5.0 stars from 2 reviews in the Ad Tech Platforms market, where Criteo carries 4.3 from 102 and Google 4.5 from 288. Gartner's comparison notes reviewers scored RTB House above Criteo on service and support and on ease of integration, and G2's side-by-side puts it ahead on ease of setup and administration. Two reviews can't carry a rating. The absence is the signal: a vendor on 32,631 domains with no review base is sold direct to enterprise, not self-serve.

Sales Signal: Buyers researching this category have almost no peer evidence to work from. Comparison content and first-party data fill a genuine vacuum here, which is unusual in adtech.

Key takeaways

1. Category rank overstates the position. RTB House is #1 of 20 in our Retargeting & Remarketing category at 68.72%, but Criteo runs 3.4x more domains from an adjacent category.
2. It's a coexistence product, not a replacement. Criteo sits on 75.83% of its domains, so advertisers stack DSPs rather than choose between them.
3. The customer base is enterprise and non-Western. Brazil, the Gulf and Southeast Asia carry the largest accounts, while Poland is 1.8%.
4. A fifth of detections are publishers. Media verticals reach 20.1%, which is supply-side cookie syncing rather than advertiser spend.
5. Churn figures need the intermittency caveat. 81.5% of departures were single sightings, so the 13,209 count measures detection volatility as much as attrition.
6. Amazon Advertising is the live threat. A 6.6:1 loss ratio is the clearest directional signal in the migration data.

Sales applications

Outreach angle: "You're running RTB House alongside Criteo, like 75.83% of the sites we track with that tag. Most teams in that position can't attribute incremental lift to either one." That opener works because it's specific and verifiable.

Targeting strategy: On TechnologyChecker.io, filter the RTB House list to 1,000+ employees, then narrow to Brazil, Chile, the UAE and Saudi Arabia. That isolates roughly the segment where our 60 largest detections concentrate, and it skips the micro-site tail entirely.

Competitive angle: The 2,129 domains that moved to Amazon Advertising are mid-transition and reviewing their retail media stack. Reach those before the migration settles, and lead with measurement rather than media buying.

All of this comes from our own crawl: 32,631 domains running RTB House, 12,584 matched to LinkedIn company records, refreshed monthly across 29.9M active domains at TechnologyChecker.io.

Is RTB House a DSP?

Yes. RTB House is a demand-side platform that buys display inventory through real-time bidding, with retargeting as its core use case. It runs its own bidding engine rather than reselling another platform's. Our crawl detects its tag on 32,631 domains, and 75.83% of those also carry Criteo, so advertisers commonly run it as one DSP among several.

Who is the CEO of RTB House?

Robert Dyczkowski is CEO of RTB House. The company was founded in 2012 in Warsaw, Poland, and now operates in more than 90 markets with roughly 1,600 staff across 30-plus offices. Poland accounts for only 1.8% of the enriched companies we detect running its tag, so most of its business sits outside its home market.

Is RTB House legit?

Yes. RTB House is an established programmatic advertising company founded in 2012, and our July 2026 crawl finds its tag on 32,631 domains including LG, Santander Brasil, Falabella and AirAsia. Gartner Peer Insights rates it 5.0 stars, though from only 2 reviews, which reflects a vendor sold direct to enterprise rather than self-serve.

How does RTB House pricing work?

RTB House bills on performance rather than a subscription. Its main model is dynamic cost per click, where bids adjust automatically per impression, and it also supports CPM and CPA arrangements depending on the campaign. There's no published rate card and no self-serve tier for its managed product, so pricing is negotiated per advertiser.

What is the difference between RTB House and Criteo?

Both retarget shoppers programmatically, and our data shows they usually coexist: Criteo runs on 75.83% of RTB House domains. Criteo is far larger at 111,163 domains against 32,631, and sells a broader commerce media suite. Gartner reviewers score RTB House higher on support and ease of integration, while Criteo carries 102 reviews to RTB House's 2.

Does RTB House use deep learning?

Yes, and it's the company's main technical claim. RTB House moved its bidding engine to deep learning models rather than the logistic regression common in programmatic, and markets that as its differentiator for creative selection and bid pricing. Our crawl can confirm where the tag is deployed but not which model version serves a given advertiser.

Why do news publishers appear in RTB House detections?

Because a DSP tag on a publisher site usually means cookie syncing, not a campaign. Media verticals reach 20.1% of the enriched companies we detect, including the Wall Street Journal, CNN and Radio Canada. Those are the inventory side of programmatic, so treat publisher detections as supply-side plumbing rather than advertiser spend.

How is RTB House deployed on a website?

Almost always through a tag manager. Google Tag Manager appears on 97.32% of RTB House domains in our data, which is why detections often land on subdomains unrelated to shopping, such as careers.neom.com or taxinvoice.airasia.com. A site-wide container fires the tag everywhere, so the detection URL rarely identifies the campaign.

Does RTB House work without third-party cookies?

It has to in Safari and Firefox, which block third-party cookies by default. RTB House has published work on cookieless targeting and supports alternative identifiers, and the ID5 identity graph appears on 33.56% of the domains we detect running its tag. Chrome's slower retreat from third-party cookies still shapes how much retargeting reach any DSP can actually deliver.

Which ecommerce platforms do RTB House customers use?

Mostly not the hosted ones. Shopify reaches just 2.3% of RTB House domains in our data, against 18.72% across AdRoll's base, and WooCommerce only 0.92%. Enterprise suites appear instead, with Salesforce Commerce Cloud at 0.47% and SAP Commerce Cloud at 0.16%. Its customers are typically large advertisers running custom or enterprise commerce platforms rather than hosted storefronts.

Why did 13,209 domains stop showing RTB House?

Most of them probably didn't cancel anything. We recorded 13,209 domains dropping the tag since March 2026, but 81.5% had been detected exactly once across an average of 2.67 scans, and only 493 were seen three or more times first. For Shopify the same figure is 47.8%. A tag that intermittent is usually consent-gated or conditionally loaded.

Is RTB House used outside Europe?

Overwhelmingly. The United States leads at 41.63% of enriched companies, and Brazil (4.64%) and India (4.62%) both outrank Poland at 1.8%. Its largest accounts include Magazine Luiza and Casas Bahia in Brazil, Falabella in Chile, Noon and STC in the Gulf, and Tokopedia in Indonesia, based on our enriched company data.

What consent tools do RTB House sites use?

Google's Funding Choices leads at 21.66% of RTB House domains, followed by OneTrust (4.16%), Consent Manager (3.63%) and Didomi (1.1%). That spread matters for measurement: a consent gate decides whether the retargeting tag fires at all, which helps explain why so many of our detections for this tag appear only once.
