This analysis combines our crawl data with Netlify's public financials ($46.3M revenue in 2024, per SigAI), G2 review sentiment, and Netlify's own published case studies as of our March 2026 crawl.

1. Growth trajectory

Netlify first appeared in our detection data in October 2015 with a single domain. The company had been founded a year earlier by Mathias Biilmann and Christian Bach. Growth was slow through 2018 (under 100 domains), then something changed: detections jumped from 21 in November 2018 to 5,826 in January 2019.
