Companies Using Userpilot

I've spent years helping B2B growth teams turn technographic lists into pipeline, and Userpilot is a useful case, because the public list is so different from the customer stories. A domain counts here when a page loads Userpilot's SDK from js.userpilot.io or creates one of its browser globals. Our October 2026 crawl finds that on 662 live domains, and 452 of them match a company. Like every onboarding tool, Userpilot mostly runs after login, so this is the public edge of the business: sign-up pages, app logins, docs and marketplaces.

The August step

The chart reads 119 in June, 139 in July, 524 in August, 659 in September and 662 in October. That jump is about us. The domains we crawl turn over every month, with dead sites dropping out and new ones added, and our detection signals widen over time. Since September the line is flat. 78 domains have dropped Userpilot since we began tracking drops on 18 March 2026.

Sales Signal: treat the October count as a stable base of about 660 domains, not a fast-growing one. The useful filter is the host: 239 domains carry Userpilot on an app., portal., admin. or similar address, which is where the product runs.

Who the customers are

36.61% of matched companies have 11 to 50 employees, 24.11% have 1 to 10 and 20.98% have 51 to 200. 53.91% were founded in the 2010s and 18.49% in the 2020s. Only 20 companies have more than 1,000 staff. The named ones are mostly software and data firms: Ocrolus and Unzer on their documentation sites, Abl and Ethos on their apps, Choice International on its broker site. Userpilot's own customer page names others, such as Osano, Jiminny, Cleeng and Smoobu, whose use sits inside their products.

Sales Signal: this is a list of funded B2B software companies with a product team. Tools for product analytics, feedback and support fit it better than enterprise IT software does.

The AppDirect effect

Rank the list by LinkedIn following and Hewlett Packard Enterprise comes first, and Paycor, Infoblox and Alteryx are in the top 15. That looks like an enterprise customer base. It isn't quite. HPE's GreenLake Marketplace and Paycor's integration marketplace both run on AppDirect's platform, and when we opened them both loaded Userpilot with the same Userpilot account. AppDirect's own marketplace loads Userpilot too. 13 live domains carry Userpilot on a marketplace or catalogue host.

Sales Signal: for HPE or Paycor, the Userpilot buyer is AppDirect. Exclude marketplace hosts before you treat a big logo here as a Userpilot account.

Industries and countries

Software Development leads at 24.43%, IT Services at 9.73% and Technology, Information and Internet at 8.6%; together they make 42.76%. Language services is an odd cluster: Propio runs Userpilot on propio.com, and CyraCom's, United Language Group's and Akorbi's domains now redirect there, which is why we removed them as separate rows. By country, the United States has 213 of 452 matched companies (47.12%), the United Kingdom and Canada 26 each and France 18. Germany, Australia and Brazil have 13 each.

Sales Signal: more than half the list sits outside the US. Vendors with localised onboarding content or EU data hosting have a real opening in the UK, France and Germany.

Switching: nothing to publish

No competitor passes our switching tests, so the page has no migration table. The numbers are small. Pendo runs on 14 Userpilot domains today, out of 20 that ever ran both. Three domains dropped Pendo and kept Userpilot since March; one went the other way. Two dropped Userflow and kept Userpilot. One domain moved from WalkMe.

Sales Signal: don't sell Userpilot replacement on churn data; there isn't any. The 14 shared domains are the better story for analytics vendors.

The stack around it

Across the 673 live Userpilot domains, HubSpot runs on 39.08%. Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement adds 7.43% and Marketo 2.53%. Product analytics is common: Amplitude on 9.81%, PostHog on 8.62%, Mixpanel on 6.09%. Support runs through HubSpot Chat (14.56%), Zendesk (10.4%) and Intercom (10.25%). OpenAI turns up on 13.52%.

Sales Signal: about nine in ten Userpilot domains have no Amplitude and nine in ten have no PostHog. Analytics vendors can start with the HubSpot-running Userpilot sites that have neither.

G2 review signals

Userpilot's G2 summary leads with ease of use (291 mentions) and intuitive design (181), and its top complaint is a steep learning curve (108 mentions, with another 93 in a second cluster). Limited customisation (60), reporting complexity (42) and price (37) follow. Our data fits the split. Building a first flow is easy; the analytics side is where teams struggle, and that is where Amplitude and PostHog show up beside Userpilot. Its pricing page lists Starter at $299 a month for up to 2,000 monthly active users and Growth from $849.

Sales Signal: reporting complexity and price are the two complaints a rival can act on. Sites growing past 2,000 monthly active users are the natural moment to raise them.
