vcita Usage Statistics

vcita first appeared in our detection history in August 2012 on a single domain and reached 17,854 active domains by July 2026. The sharpest move came in 2018, when the count went from 486 to 2,863 in twelve months, a step far steeper than anything before or after it and one that likely reflects wider detection coverage as much as new signups. Note the gap between July 2025 and June 2026: our detection engine changed over in that window, so the step across it is a change in how we measure, not a surge in adoption.

List of Companies Using vcita

Which Countries Use vcita the Most?

Which countries use vcita the most? The United States accounts for 13,069 of the 14,752 enriched companies in our data, close to 89%, making vcita one of the most geographically concentrated platforms in our CRM category. Australia is a distant second at 963 companies, roughly seven times the United Kingdom total of 134. vcita Market Share Among CRM

What is vcita's market share? vcita holds a 3.16% share of the CRM market and ranks #3 of the 50 platforms we track in the category, behind Zoho (67.1%) and Salesforce (11.82%). Third place means something unusual here. vcita trails the leader by more than 20x, yet it outranks Bitrix24 and Microsoft Dynamics 365 by serving a buyer neither of them targets, the sub-10-employee service business. Based on our monthly crawl of 29.9M active domains at TechnologyChecker.io.

What Industries Use vcita the Most?

Construction is the dominant vertical at 18.65%, more than double the next entry, Individual and Family Services (7.96%), with Medical Practices close behind at 7.32%. Group the appointment-driven trades together (construction, facilities, medical, legal, family and consumer services) and they clear 45% of the base, which tells you vcita sells to businesses that book visits rather than businesses that manage pipelines. Based on our enriched company data at TechnologyChecker.io.

Individual and Family Services872 (7.96%)
Medical Practices802 (7.32%)
Retail420 (3.83%)
Legal Services398 (3.63%)
Facilities Services319 (2.91%)

Construction companies using vcita form the platform's largest vertical at 18.65%, firms like KPS Global and Heating & Plumbing Engineers that need booking and invoicing more than a sales pipeline. Medical practices using vcita account for another 7.32%. Law firms using vcita show up under two separate LinkedIn labels, Legal Services (3.63%) and Law Practice (2.85%), for a combined 6.48% that would rank third in the category if merged. Based on our enriched company data.

vcita Alternatives & Competitors

vcita's competitive position is unusual: it ranks #3 in CRM by domain count while chasing a customer the two leaders barely contest, based on our market share data across 29.9M active domains. Zoho (67.1%) owns the category on volume through its free tier and broad suite. Salesforce (11.82%) sits at the enterprise end. vcita's closest functional rivals are scheduling-first tools like Calendly, which our taxonomy files under Appointment Scheduling rather than CRM.

vcita Customer Migration

Across the churn our crawler has observed directly, vcita's switching volume is small and one-directional. 16 domains left vcita for Zoho, 10 of them in the last 30 days, against a single domain arriving from HubSpot. These windows cover roughly two months of observed churn rather than a decade of history, so read them as a current signal and not a lifetime tally.

Tech Stack of vcita-Powered Websites

Based on 18,248 active domains in our current crawl, the loudest signal is distribution: 87.4% of vcita sites also run Duda, and 87.83% run Snowplow Analytics, which Duda ships as its built-in analytics. That pairing points to reach through Duda's agency channel rather than direct signup. The reverse shows in payments and email, where PayPal appears on just 2.24% of sites and Mailchimp on 0.61%, because vcita absorbs invoicing, payments, and campaigns into the product itself.

Expert Analysis: vcita Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

Mehmet Suleyman
Mehmet SuleymanCEO & Co-founder, TechnologyChecker

After a decade building web crawling infrastructure, vcita is one of the more instructive profiles I have read this year. Our July 2026 crawl finds it on 17,854 domains, over 80% matching a LinkedIn company record. That rate tells you something before any chart does: these are staffed, registered businesses.

Growth trajectory

vcita enters our detection history in August 2012 on one domain and reaches 486 by December 2017. Then it hits 2,863 by December 2018, a 5.9x jump far steeper than any move before or after. I treat that spike carefully, since step changes of that shape often come from wider detection coverage rather than real signups. The slope I trust came after: steady compounding to a peak of 12,076 domains in April 2025, then a slide to 10,799 by July.

One gap deserves naming. vcita's own site claims over 100,000 businesses worldwide against our 18,000 detections. That difference is mostly customers working inside vcita's mobile app and hosted client portal, who never embed a widget on any site we crawl.

"In the two months we have watched vcita directly, 778 domains dropped it. That is the number I trust, because we saw it happen rather than inheriting it from someone else's decade-old crawl. At this size of customer, every renewal is a live decision." - Mehmet Suleyman, CEO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io

Sales Signal: This addressable market is flat to slightly declining, not expanding. Treat it as a replacement market and time outreach around the platform's weak spots rather than category growth.

Customer profile

This is the section that surprised me. 72.5% of vcita customers have ten or fewer employees and 97% sit under 50, about what you would expect. The age distribution is not. Only 36.4% were founded after 2010, while 41.8% predate the year 2000. That sample covers 3,453 companies with a founding year on file, so read it as directional, but it runs opposite to nearly every SaaS profile I see.

The named companies bear it out. H. Brown, Inc. is a Louisiana contractor founded in 1938, Abel Womack has been in material handling since 1922. These are decades-old trades businesses that finally moved booking off paper, not digital natives buying their first software. vcita's own customer stories agree: an estate planning attorney, an electrician, a canine clinic, a sleep apnea centre, and no technology company among them.

Sales Signal: These buyers need done-for-them, not configurable. They chose an all-in-one because nobody on staff can wire three tools together. Any pitch opening with API access will lose. A pitch that removes a phone call from their day will not.

Industry and geographic concentration

Construction leads at 18.65%, more than double the second vertical. Add facilities services, medical practices, hospitals, the two legal labels, family services and consumer services, and appointment-driven work reaches roughly 48% of the enriched base. vcita is horizontal across trades but vertical in a deeper sense: it sells to anyone whose revenue depends on someone showing up at a scheduled time.

Geography is the most concentrated I have seen in this category: 13,069 of 14,752 enriched companies are American, Australia is second at 963, then it drops to 134 in the UK. A number two market seven times larger than number three, in a country with a fraction of the UK's population, is a channel rather than organic demand, and it is the most interesting unexplained pattern in this dataset.

Sales Signal: The UK, Canada and Western Europe are wide open, at 134 and 93 companies against 13,069 in the US. Selling SMB services outside North America, vcita is not the incumbent you have to displace. Inside the US and Australia, it is.

Migration patterns

Our crawler has observed vcita's churn directly for about two months, and in that window the movement is small and runs one way. 16 domains left vcita for Zoho, 10 of them inside the last 30 days, while exactly one arrived from HubSpot. Nothing at all moved between vcita and Salesforce or Bitrix24, which fits the market-share picture: those two are not fighting over this buyer.

I would not over-read 17 switches. What they do suggest is a leak toward the category's volume leader rather than toward its enterprise end, which is the direction you would predict for businesses this small. Our analysis of why SaaS companies switch CRMs found that these moves usually turn on fit rather than features.

"Sixteen out to Zoho, one in from HubSpot. The volumes are tiny, but the asymmetry is the point: when these businesses leave, they leave toward cheaper and simpler, not toward more powerful." - Mehmet Suleyman, CEO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io

Sales Signal: Watch the Zoho corridor rather than the totals. Domains that left vcita in the last 30 days are mid-decision and reachable now, and they are leaving toward a free tier, which tells you price is doing the work.

Technology ecosystem

The overlap data is the clearest finding on this page. 87.4% of vcita domains also run Duda, and 87.83% run Snowplow Analytics, which Duda ships as its built-in analytics. Those two numbers describe the same population. Duda opened its app store in February 2020 with vCita as one of four hand-picked launch apps, and today most detectable vcita installs sit on an agency-built Duda site.

The rest of the stack is notable for what is absent. PayPal appears on 2.24% of vcita sites, Stripe on 0.23%, Mailchimp on 0.61%. For 18,000 businesses that all take payments and send reminders, those figures should be far higher. They are low because vcita folds invoicing, payments and campaigns into the product. Google Analytics at 62.09% is the only outside tool with real penetration.

Sales Signal: Your real competitor here is a bundled feature inside vcita, not a rival point tool. And if you sell to agencies, the Duda partner channel reaches this whole population in one motion.

G2 review signals

vcita's G2 profile shows ease of use as the top praise at 13 mentions, with automated reminders and support tied behind at 6 each. The leading complaint, at 7 mentions, is integration friction: calendar syncing and needing extra apps for task management. Two further cons repeat that theme, and one flags having to upgrade to reach basic features.

Cross-referenced against our crawl, it lines up. That complaint is what you would predict from a base where 97% of companies have under 50 staff and no integration team, so every sync failure becomes a support ticket. It is also the friction most likely to sit behind the churn we are now watching in real time.

Sales Signal: Integration friction is the wedge. Prospects complaining publicly about calendar sync sit further along the buying cycle than anyone responding to a feature pitch.

Key takeaways

1. Position: #3 in CRM at 3.16% share, in a segment Zoho and Salesforce do not seriously contest.

2. Growth phase: Mature and flattening, peaking at 12,076 domains in April 2025.

3. Core customer: A sub-10-employee appointment-driven service business, often decades old, usually construction or healthcare, almost always US-based.

4. Moat: Distribution. The Duda channel reaches agency-built SMB sites at a cost no direct-sales competitor can match.

5. Vulnerability: That same channel. One website platform carries 87.4% of installs, so a partnership change would reshape the base overnight.

6. Churn: 778 domains observed dropping vcita in roughly two months, with the switches we can attribute running toward Zoho.

Sales applications

Outreach angle: Lead with integration pain, not product. "You are running vcita on a Duda site and still handling X by hand" beats any feature list here, because it proves you looked.

Targeting: On TechnologyChecker.io, filter vcita by construction or medical practices, cap employees at 50, and restrict to the United States. That returns the densest concentration of the archetype.

Competitive angle: The domains that dropped vcita in the last 30 days re-evaluated their stack this month, and recent re-evaluators buy.

All of this comes from our own detection engine rather than a third-party feed. TechnologyChecker.io tracks 17,854 active vcita domains with 14,752 matched to enriched company records, refreshed from a monthly crawl of 29.9M active domains.

Is vcita good for small businesses?

It is built almost exclusively for them. TechnologyChecker.io data shows 72.5% of vcita customers have ten or fewer employees, and 97% employ under 50 people. Only 66 companies in our entire dataset exceed 200 staff. If you need multi-team permissions or enterprise reporting, vcita is the wrong size of tool.

Is vcita a CRM?

Yes, though calling it only a CRM undersells it. vcita bundles client records with online scheduling, invoicing, payment collection, and messaging in one product. We file it under CRM, where it ranks #3 with 3.16% market share. Businesses typically buy it for the scheduling and get the client database along with it.

Is vcita easy to use?

Ease of use is its strongest review signal. Across aggregated G2 reviews, ease of use drew 13 mentions, the single most-cited positive, with automated reminders and customer support following at 6 each. The counterweight is integration friction at 7 mentions, mainly calendar syncing and needing separate apps for task management.

Does vcita offer appointment reminders?

Yes. Automated appointment and payment reminders by SMS and email are core features, and vcita's Duda app listing confirms both. Reminders are the second most-praised capability in G2 reviews with 6 mentions. For the no-show-sensitive clinics and trades that make up much of the customer base, this is often the reason they bought.

How does vcita scheduling work?

Clients book through a scheduling widget embedded on the business website or through a hosted client portal, then vcita syncs the appointment to the business calendar and fires automated reminders. vcita launched in 2010 as an online scheduling tool and expanded into full business management from 2013 onward.

What are the benefits of using vcita?

Consolidation is the main one. Instead of stitching together scheduling, invoicing, payments, and email, a small operator runs all four in one app. Our stack data supports this: only 2.24% of vcita sites also run PayPal and 0.61% run Mailchimp, because those functions are already covered in-product.

Does vcita have a free plan?

No. vcita offers a 14-day free trial with access to all features and no credit card required, but there is no permanent free tier. All ongoing plans are paid, which separates it from Zoho and HubSpot, both of which run free CRM tiers. Pricing scales by team size, with annual billing discounted.

Does vcita handle payments and invoicing?

Yes. Issuing invoices, accepting online payments, and sending payment reminders are built in, and vcita connects to local payment gateways. Our detection data reflects it: PayPal appears on only 2.24% of vcita websites and Stripe on 0.23%, unusually low for 18,000 businesses that all collect money.

Does vcita integrate with website builders?

Duda is by far the deepest integration. Our crawl finds 87.4% of vcita websites also run Duda, which added vCita as one of four launch apps when it opened its app store in February 2020. WordPress is a distant second at 8.34%, with Weebly, Squarespace, and Wix each under 1%.

What is inTandem by vcita?

inTandem is vcita's white-label platform, sold to agencies, media companies, and other organisations that want to offer business management software to their own SMB clients under their own brand. Partners typically go live within four to eight weeks. It is the channel arm behind much of vcita's agency-driven distribution.

Why do so many websites using vcita also run Duda?

Because Duda's agency channel is vcita's main distribution route. Our crawl shows 87.4% of vcita sites on Duda, and 87.83% running Snowplow Analytics, which Duda ships by default. In practice, a web agency builds an SMB site on Duda and installs vcita from the app store for booking and payments.

Who founded vcita and when?

Itzik Levy and Eran Utmazgin founded vcita in 2010, originally as an online scheduling platform, and it grew into an all-in-one business management product from 2013. The company is headquartered in Bellevue, Washington. It acquired email signature tool WiseStamp in 2019 and spun it back out as a separate business in 2024.

Is vcita still used in 2026?

Yes. Our July 2026 crawl detects vcita on 17,854 active domains, ranking it #3 in the CRM category, and the count has climbed steadily since 2012. Our crawler has also watched 778 domains drop vcita over the past two months, so there is real churn underneath a base that is still growing overall.
