Companies Using Duda

I pulled Duda out of our October 2026 crawl to answer one question: who builds a Duda website? For a third of them we can name the reseller from the page itself. A domain counts here when its pages load Duda's runtime from Duda's hosts, such as multiscreensite.com and cdn-website.com, or from a few reseller hosts written into the rule. That gives 224,377 live domains, 166,017 of them matched to a company, and 8th place in CMS & Website Builders with a 1.35% share.

Growth trajectory

The chart reads 208,598 in June, 215,276 in July, 215,536 in August, 223,891 in September and 224,377 in October. That's 15,779 more domains than in June, but it isn't a like-for-like series. The set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with dead sites dropping out and newly found ones added, and our detection signals widen over time. Since July the base has held between 215,000 and 225,000. Exits are measured separately: we've seen 15,555 domains drop Duda since 16 March 2026, which is churn observed in that window, not a lifetime figure.

Sales Signal: this is a stable installed base. The partners selling Duda sites this quarter will be the same next quarter, so plan account-based work around them rather than around a wave of new adopters.

Who builds the sites

Duda's about page says it serves agencies, hosting companies and online publishers, and names Thryv, Hibu, Italiaonline, 1&1 IONOS and UOL as partners. We can see five reseller channels in the crawl, four of them on that list. On 10 October, 76,092 of 225,802 live Duda domains (33.70%) also carried a reseller's marker: IONOS's MyWebsite builder on 26,891, Hibu on 21,903, Thryv on 15,243, Italiaonline on 6,591 and AppFolio's property websites on 5,464. The IONOS sites we opened even identify themselves in the code, with a Duda system ID of 1AND1_EU_PROD. Smaller fleets have no detection of their own and sit in the other two thirds; at least 2,562 Duda domains load scripts from Sección Amarilla in Mexico, for example.

Sales Signal: for a third of this list the decision-maker is a reseller, and the end customer may never have heard of Duda. Split the list by reseller before any outreach. A vendor that wants to reach 21,903 Hibu sites needs a conversation with Hibu, not 21,903 emails.

Customer profile

76.32% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 19.62% have 11 to 50. By founding year, 33.87% date from the 2010s and 19.53% from the 2020s. The big names at the top of our list need care. Ten of the top 50 are staffing and careers sites that load Shazamme, a recruitment-website platform, including Sutherland on jobs.sutherlandglobal.com and Toll Group on careers.tollgroup.com. Five are investor sites with a "Powered by ACCESS Newswire" credit, among them Moderna's press releases and BlackBerry's investor pages. In those cases the vendor picked Duda. Others are direct: McKee Foods, AAMCO and Swiss-Belhotel International run their main websites on it.

Sales Signal: treat an investor, careers or events subdomain as one team's site. A large company with Duda on its main domain is a different conversation from one whose IR vendor happens to build on it.

Industry and geography

Construction leads at 11.27%, then Individual and Family Services (6.36%), Medical Practices (4.11%) and Real Estate (4.03%). Hibu and Thryv push the trades share up. Among companies with a known industry, construction is 21% of Hibu-built sites and 19.9% of Thryv-built ones, against 10.25% for the rest of Duda, and AppFolio's fleet is 82.42% real estate. Geography follows the same partners. The United States leads with 79,954 matched companies. Germany is second with 18,217, and 11,602 of those German companies are IONOS MyWebsite customers. In Italy, 4,371 of 6,676 come through Italiaonline.

Sales Signal: booking and review software for local trades and practices fits this base. In Germany and Italy the reseller is the route to market. In the US, exclude the Hibu and Thryv fleets if you want businesses that picked Duda through an independent agency.

Migration patterns

Since we began tracking Duda in March 2026, 155 domains dropped Joomla and kept Duda, against 7 going the other way, with 33 of the 155 in the last 30 days. Weebly sends 76 against 9 back, and Jimdo 7 against 3. All three pass our switching tests: of the 235 domains ever seen with both Duda and Joomla, only 69 still run both. The bigger flows, with WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy's builder and Webflow, run both ways in similar numbers, so we don't count them as switches. An earlier version of this page read the WordPress flow as a net gain. On today's data it isn't one.

Sales Signal: a Joomla or Weebly site that an agency still maintains is due for a rebuild, and Duda is winning some of those. For tools that sit on a website, a recent move to Duda is the moment to get into the new build.

Technology ecosystem

The stack mostly shows who built the site. Snowplow Analytics runs on 92.06% of the 225,768 live Duda domains because Duda's page template loads it. Google Analytics is on 49.29%. Adobe Analytics on 9.61% is a Hibu template choice: in our 10 October check, 21,590 Hibu sites ran it and only 100 other Duda domains did. Cloudflare sits in front of 11.06%. Tools an owner would pick are rare. HubSpot shows on 0.91%, HighLevel on 0.89% and WhatsApp Business Chat on 2.48%.

Sales Signal: under 1% CRM presence on a base of small, lead-driven businesses looks like a gap, but most of these owners don't control their site's code. Sell through the agency or reseller, or sell something that doesn't need a script on the page.

G2 review signals

G2 reviewers praise the intuitive editor (159 mentions) and customer support (106), and 66 mention strong agency support. The complaints are limited customization (48) and limited features (46). That matches the crawl. Duda is a tool for teams turning out many similar small-business sites, and the clear inflows come from Joomla and Weebly.

Sales Signal: watch the agencies that outgrow Duda's limits. The customization complaints are where a developer-focused builder or a custom-code add-on has an opening.

Targeting: on TechnologyChecker.io, filter Duda by country and industry, then exclude domains that also show MyWebsite, Hibu or Superpages (our detection for Thryv-built sites) if you want independently built sites. Keep only those if you're selling to the reseller.

Competitive angle: agencies still maintaining Joomla or Weebly sites are moving some of them to Duda. Reach them before the rebuild is scoped.
