Companies Using Housecall Pro
Housecall Pro says it serves more than 45,000 home service businesses. Most of what they use it for (scheduling, dispatch, invoicing, the technician app) runs behind a login. What shows up on a contractor's own website is the customer-facing part: the online booking button, the chat widget and review widgets. Our September 2026 crawl finds those on 2,867 websites, so read this page as a floor on Housecall Pro customers, about 6% of the vendor's figure.
The companies that use Housecall Pro on their sites are small American trade businesses: HVAC firms like Maynard Heating and Cooling in Nashville, plumbers like CR Plumbing in Texas, and cleaners, painters and locksmiths. 75.71% of matched companies have 10 or fewer employees. Below is the full list with size, founding decade and website stack, plus a comparison with ServiceTitan's customers.

Housecall Pro Usage Statistics
The chart covers our current crawl window: 2,416 domains in June 2026, 2,628 in July, 2,657 in August and 2,867 in September. That's close to flat, and we wouldn't call it growth. 57% of today's live domains were first seen in May or June and only 14% in August or September, so this is a base we've had in view for months. Small moves either way reflect the domains we crawl turning over each month, with dead sites dropping out and new ones added, and our detection widening.

Which Countries Use Housecall Pro the Most?
Which countries use Housecall Pro the most? The United States, almost exclusively: 1,519 matched companies are American and 66 are Canadian, and no other country reaches five. The few rows elsewhere include LinkedIn mis-matches. myairone.com, for example, is an AC repair company in San Marcos, Texas that loads Housecall Pro's review widget, but its company record points to India.
Share of the 1,635 Housecall Pro domains we matched to a company record — 57.0% of the 2,867 we detect. Top 13 countries shown, so these do not sum to 100%. Domains with no matching company record are not represented here and skew small and independent.
Housecall Pro Market Share Among Appointment Scheduling
What is Housecall Pro's market share? It holds 1.02% of the appointment scheduling category and ranks #10 of the 132 scheduling technologies we track, based on our live crawl at TechnologyChecker.io. That share sets field service software against general booking tools, and Calendly alone holds 63.87%. Housecall Pro's real market is software for home-service contractors, where its rivals are ServiceTitan and Jobber, and we don't have a field service category to rank it in.
Top Competitors by Market Share
Housecall Pro Customers by Company Size & Age
What size companies use Housecall Pro? Very small ones. 75.71% of the 1,581 matched companies with a known headcount have 1 to 10 employees and 22.64% have 11 to 50, so 98.35% are under 51 staff. Only 26 companies are bigger than that, and some of those are LinkedIn mis-matches rather than large contractors. This is a base of owner-operators and small crews.
Company Size Distribution
Company Age (Founded Decade)
Housecall Pro's customers are young for the trades. 41.07% of matched companies with a founding year started in the 2010s and 20.99% in the 2020s, while fewer than one in five were founded before 2000. Housecall Pro itself launched in 2013, in the middle of the decade that supplies most of its visible customers.
What Industries Use Housecall Pro the Most?
LinkedIn files trade contractors under several labels, so the top rows describe one market. Construction leads at 31.95%, followed by Consumer Services (15.74%) and Individual and Family Services (11.59%), a label many HVAC and plumbing firms pick. Facilities Services (7.2%) mixes cleaning companies with HVAC firms, and Specialty Trade Contractors adds 4.15%. Those five rows cover 70.63% of matched companies with an industry, based on our enriched company data.
HVAC and plumbing companies that use Housecall Pro fill most of the list, from Maynard Heating and Cooling (themaynardman.com) in Nashville to CR Plumbing near Fort Worth. The list also reaches trades beyond heating and plumbing. Cleaning companies on Housecall Pro include All Clear and A-1 Cleaning Service. Painters (Majestic Painting, Town & Country Painting), a pest control firm (County Pest), a locksmith (Busy Bees Locks & Keys) and The Window Cleaner in central Pennsylvania all run its booking or chat widgets too.
Housecall Pro Alternatives & Competitors
The chart compares Housecall Pro with the appointment scheduling leaders: Calendly (179,831 domains), Bookly (14,629), FareHarbor (11,943), Cal.com (6,406) and Zocdoc (4,389). None of them runs a field service business; they book meetings, tours and doctor visits. The rivals contractors weigh are Jobber and ServiceTitan, and the companies that use ServiceTitan are bigger and older: 43.72% have 11 to 50 staff and 54.55% were founded before 2000. Only 18 domains run both products today.

Tech Stack of Housecall Pro-Powered Websites
Across the 2,908 domains where Housecall Pro is live, WordPress runs on 43.71% and Duda on 31.71%. Duda is the agency tell: home-service marketing firms build client sites on it, including RealWork Labs (on 108 of these sites), an HVAC and plumbing site builder. CallRail appears on 8.39%, and Housecall Pro lists it as an integration. We left out Amplitude and Snowplow: Housecall Pro's own widget loads them (Amplitude shows up on 58.46% of these domains), so they're the vendor's analytics, not the contractor's choice.

Expert Analysis: Housecall Pro Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

I analysed Housecall Pro against our September 2026 crawl, and it's worth reading next to our ServiceTitan page. We detect Housecall Pro on 2,867 domains, and 1,635 of them (57%) match a company record. Housecall Pro says it serves more than 45,000 home service businesses on its About page, and 200,000+ individual pros on its homepage. So we see roughly 6% of its business customers. Our note on technology detection methods explains how a script becomes a detection.
What the crawl sees, and why the line is flat
Housecall Pro runs a contractor's back office: scheduling, dispatch, estimates, invoicing and payments. What we detect is the customer-facing layer a contractor adds to its own site: the online booking script from online-booking.housecallpro.com, the chat widget from chat.housecallpro.com and review widgets. Online booking comes with every plan, Basic included, but Housecall Pro also lets customers book through a hosted link or through Reserve with Google, per its help centre. A contractor using only those leaves nothing on its website for us to find.
The chart barely moves: 2,416 domains in June, 2,628 in July, 2,657 in August and 2,867 in September. 57% of today's live domains were first seen in May or June, so we've had this base in view for months. Small moves either way come from the domains we crawl turning over each month and from our detection widening, as much as from anything contractors did.
"Every Housecall Pro plan includes an online booking button, and still only about one customer in sixteen shows up on a website we crawl. The others are invisible to us: they may take bookings by phone, through Google or from a shared link." - Emma Davies, Data Analyst at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: this list is the slice of Housecall Pro customers that sells online. If you offer websites, reviews, call tracking or ads to contractors, these firms already treat their site as a booking channel.
Owner-operators, mostly founded after 2010
Of 1,581 matched companies with a known headcount, 75.71% employ 1 to 10 people and 22.64% employ 11 to 50. Only 26 are bigger, and some of those are LinkedIn mis-matches: ycelectric.com loads Housecall Pro's booking widget but is matched to a motor-vehicle manufacturer in New Delhi. The age chart is young for the trades. 41.07% of matched companies were founded in the 2010s and 20.99% in the 2020s; The Window Cleaner in central Pennsylvania, founded in 2023, is an example of the newer end.
Sales signal: you are selling to the owner, often the person who also does the jobs. Monthly pricing and setup that fits in an evening will matter more than feature depth.
American trades, and more than HVAC
1,519 matched companies are in the United States and 66 in Canada. Nothing else reaches five. LinkedIn has no label for a plumbing or HVAC contractor, so the same kind of business gets filed as Construction (31.95%), Consumer Services (15.74%) or Individual and Family Services (11.59%). The named list also includes cleaners, painters, a pest control firm and a locksmith, which fits Housecall Pro's pitch of 50+ trades.
Sales signal: filter on the United States, then combine Construction, Consumer Services, Individual and Family Services and Specialty Trade Contractors rather than picking one. Together they cover 63.43% of matched companies with an industry.
Housecall Pro vs ServiceTitan: two different customers
Buyers weighing ServiceTitan against Housecall Pro mostly get feature and price comparisons, several of them written by the two vendors. Our profiles let you compare the customers instead. Size is the clearest split. The ServiceTitan customers we match peak at 11 to 50 employees (43.72%), and 15.16% have 51 to 200. Housecall Pro's peak at 1 to 10 (75.71%), and fewer than 1% have 51 to 200.
Age runs the same way. 54.55% of ServiceTitan's matched customers were founded before 2000, against fewer than one in five of Housecall Pro's, and 20.99% of Housecall Pro's date from the 2020s against 4.3% of ServiceTitan's. The vendors' own numbers fit: ServiceTitan reported about 10,800 active customers for its 2026 fiscal year, roughly a quarter of Housecall Pro's 45,000+, yet we see more ServiceTitan websites (3,443) than Housecall Pro ones (2,867), which suggests bigger contractors are more likely to wire booking into a website.
The stacks confirm it. The Facebook Pixel runs on 56.31% of ServiceTitan sites and 17.57% of Housecall Pro sites. WP Engine hosts 22.97% against 6.6%, and Kinsta 10.08% against 1.79%. ServiceTitan customers pay for managed hosting and paid social; Housecall Pro customers are far more often on Duda (31.71% against 3.22%), the platform home-service marketing agencies build on.
Both bases share the same top three LinkedIn industries and are overwhelmingly American. Overlap is small. Only 18 domains run both products today, and since we began detecting ServiceTitan in August 2026, 2 sites have dropped ServiceTitan while keeping Housecall Pro and 4 have dropped Housecall Pro while keeping ServiceTitan. That's too few for a switching table, and 388 domains have dropped Housecall Pro's widgets since March without a named destination.
"Read the size charts together and the comparison answers itself. Housecall Pro's visible customer is a crew of ten or fewer, founded since 2010. ServiceTitan's is an established firm of 11 to 50 people, more often than not founded before 2000." - Emma Davies, Data Analyst at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: a Housecall Pro contractor that is growing past ten technicians is the natural ServiceTitan prospect, and the rare site running both may be mid-move. For the rest, sell tools that make a small operation look bigger online; they already have a back office.
The website stack, minus the vendor's own tags
Across the 2,908 live domains, WordPress runs on 43.71%, Duda on 31.71% and Elementor on 19.81%, and GoDaddy hosts 36.86%. Call tracking is thin: CallRail on 8.39% and CallTrackingMetrics on 2.13%. Trustindex review widgets appear on 11.83%.
We removed two rows. Housecall Pro's widget loads its own Amplitude and Snowplow analytics, so Amplitude shows up on 58.46% of these domains and Snowplow on 32.2%. Those tags measure Housecall Pro's widget for Housecall Pro; the contractor never chose them.
Sales signal: about nine in ten of these sites run neither CallRail nor CallTrackingMetrics, in a trade where many jobs still start with a phone call. CallRail integrates with Housecall Pro and still sits on only 8.39% of them.
What G2 reviewers say, set against the crawl
Housecall Pro scores 4.3 out of 5 from 205 G2 reviews. That's a small sample for 45,000+ businesses, and ease of use leads the pros with only 16 mentions. The complaints are about limits (missing features and customisation) and about cost as users are added. The seat concern fits the base we see, where three in four businesses have ten or fewer staff.
Sales signal: tools that fill a specific gap, such as deeper reporting or trade-specific workflows, can sit alongside Housecall Pro instead of replacing it.
Key takeaways
1. 2,867 domains and 1,635 companies, against Housecall Pro's 45,000+ businesses, so read it as a floor.
2. 75.71% of matched companies have 1 to 10 employees.
3. 62.06% were founded in 2010 or later.
4. Next to ServiceTitan's customers, Housecall Pro's are smaller, younger and lighter on paid social (Facebook Pixel on 17.57% of sites against 56.31%), and only 18 sites run both.
5. Amplitude and Snowplow on these sites belong to Housecall Pro's widget, not the contractor.
How to use this list
Filter to the United States and the 1 to 10 employee band first; that's most of the base. Check the website before you trust a headcount above 200. A workable opener: "Your site takes bookings through Housecall Pro. We help contractors turn more of those visits into booked jobs by [outcome]." For a competitive angle, many of the Duda sites are agency-built, so for website add-ons the agency, not the contractor, may be the buyer.

Small home-service contractors. Our crawl finds Housecall Pro's booking, chat or review widgets on 2,867 websites, 1,635 matched to a company, and they are HVAC, plumbing, electrical, cleaning, painting and pest control firms such as Maynard Heating and Cooling, CR Plumbing and All Clear. 75.71% of matched companies have 1 to 10 employees, and 1,519 are in the United States.
How many customers does Housecall Pro have?
Housecall Pro says it serves more than 45,000 home service businesses and over 200,000 individual pros. What is Housecall Pro's market share?
Housecall Pro holds 1.02% of the appointment scheduling category and ranks #10 of the 132 technologies we track there. Its real market is field service software, where it competes with ServiceTitan and Jobber.

What size companies use Housecall Pro?
The most common company size is 1-10 employees, representing 75.71% of the Housecall Pro domains we could match to a company record and size — a subset of 1,635 matched companies, not of all 2,867 detected domains. This is followed by 11-50 employees (22.64%) and 51-200 employees (0.89%).
How old are companies that use Housecall Pro?

The ideal Housecall Pro customer is: Company Size: 1-10 employees, Location: United States, then Canada, Industry: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, cleaning, Founded: 2010-2019, Website: WordPress or Duda site with online booking — based on our analysis of 1,635 enriched companies at TechnologyChecker.io.

How can you tell if a contractor uses Housecall Pro?
Open the contractor's website with your browser's developer tools and filter network requests for housecallpro.com. The online booking button loads online-booking.housecallpro.com/script.js, the chat widget loads chat.housecallpro.com/proChat.js, and review widgets come from client.housecallpro.com. TechnologyChecker.io detects those scripts. A contractor using Housecall Pro only for dispatch and invoicing leaves no trace on its site.
Why do Amplitude and Snowplow appear on Housecall Pro customer sites?
Because Housecall Pro's widget brings them. Its booking and chat scripts load Housecall Pro's own analytics, so Amplitude shows up on 58.46% of the domains running Housecall Pro and Snowplow on 32.2%. That's the vendor measuring its widget, not the contractor choosing an analytics product, so we excluded both from the tech stack on this page. Treat them the same way in any list you build.
What website platforms do Housecall Pro customers use?
WordPress runs on 43.71% of the 2,908 domains where Housecall Pro is live, and Duda on 31.71%. Duda's share reflects home-service marketing agencies, which build client sites on it; RealWork Labs, an HVAC and plumbing site builder, shows up on 108 of these sites.
