Companies Using Cal.com
Our October 2026 crawl finds Cal.com's booking embed on 6,536 live domains. Most belong to young, small technology businesses. 82.15% of the companies we matched have 10 or fewer employees, and 61.32% of those with a known founding year started in the 2020s. Below is the list of companies that use Cal.com, with size, country, industry and the stack around it. It includes the product consultancy Evil Martians, the software supply-chain company FOSSA, the Prague data platform Keboola and the identity-security firm KOBIL.
Cal.com ranks 4th in Appointment Scheduling with a 2.31% share, a long way behind Calendly. We count a site only when a page loads Cal.com's embed script from app.cal.com or app.cal.eu. Plain links to a cal.com booking page aren't in the number, and neither are self-hosted copies on a company's own domain. We opened 15 random pages to test it: 14 loaded the embed, and every booking link we could read went to the site's own Cal.com account.

Cal.com Usage Statistics
Cal.com reads 3,857 domains in August 2026, 6,406 in September and 6,536 in October. Don't read the August to September jump as a wave of installs. It reflects changes on our side: the set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with dead sites dropping out and newly found ones added, and our detection widened that month as we captured more of each page. September to October, on a steadier base, added 130 domains. Since we began tracking Cal.com on 4 August 2026, 835 domains have dropped it on at least one hostname, and 181 of those still run it on another.

Which Countries Use Cal.com the Most?
Which countries use Cal.com the most? The United States, with 945 matched companies, then India (317), the United Kingdom (261), France (242) and Germany (220). Europe outweighs America here. The eight European countries in the top 15 add up to 1,067 companies, against 945 in the US. India in second place is unusual for a scheduler: Calendly's profile doesn't have India in its top five. These counts cover the 4,081 Cal.com domains we matched to a company.
Share of the 4,081 Cal.com domains we matched to a company record — 62.4% of the 6,536 we detect. Top 15 countries shown, so these do not sum to 100%. Domains with no matching company record are not represented here and skew small and independent.
Cal.com Market Share Among Appointment Scheduling
What is Cal.com's market share? 2.31% of Appointment Scheduling, 4th in the category, on 6,536 domains in our live crawl at TechnologyChecker.io. Calendly leads with 63.72% on 180,383 domains, about 27.6 times Cal.com's count, and Bookly (14,626) and FareHarbor (12,091) sit in between. The table isn't like-for-like. Calendly's count includes sites that only link to a Calendly booking page, while Cal.com's includes only pages that load its embed script, so Cal.com users who only link to cal.com aren't in it.
Top Competitors by Market Share
Cal.com Customers by Company Size & Age
What size companies use Cal.com? Very small ones. 82.15% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 14.9% have 11 to 50, so 97.05% have 50 or fewer. That's more micro than Calendly's base, 79.13% at 1 to 10 per its profile. Only 5 matched companies have more than 500 staff. Auxi'life, a French home-care company with 1,001 to 5,000 employees, is one of them and runs the embed on auxilife.fr.
Company Size Distribution
Company Age (Founded Decade)
61.32% of matched companies with a known founding year date from the 2020s and 31.36% from the 2010s, which leaves 7.32% founded before 2010. Calendly's profile has 43.89% in the 2020s and Acuity Scheduling's 28.45%, so Cal.com's customers are newer than either. The ages come from the 2,787 matched companies that list a founding year.
What Industries Use Cal.com the Most?
Software Development leads at 16.48%, then IT Services and IT Consulting (13.65%) and Technology, Information and Internet (9.89%), based on our enriched company data. Add LinkedIn's older Information Technology & Services label (1.75%) and 41.77% of matched companies are tech firms. Agencies are the second cluster: Marketing Services (7.26%), Design Services (6.24%) and Advertising Services (6.09%) come to 19.59%. These are businesses that sell through a call, and the booking button sits on the homepage.
Software companies using Cal.com usually put it behind a demo button. FOSSA sends demo requests to a FOSSA team event and Keboola to a team booking page. Agencies on Cal.com book first calls with prospects, as Evil Martians, RST Software and Rather Labs do, often on a partner's personal page. Healthcare providers using Cal.com are a small group; Sanare Today, a Pennsylvania mental-health provider, runs a Cal.com routing form on its site.
Cal.com Alternatives & Competitors
Calendly is the comparison buyers make, and on many Cal.com sites it's already installed. 98 domains run both today, out of 231 we've seen with both since tracking began, which is why we don't publish a switching table for Cal.com. Calendly counts 180,383 domains (63.72%), Bookly 14,626 and FareHarbor 12,091, while Acuity Scheduling has 4,001. Bookly runs inside WordPress and FareHarbor's top industry is travel arrangements, per their profiles, so neither competes for Cal.com's software and agency buyers. Calendly does.

| 180,383 | 63.72% | |
| 14,626 | 5.17% | |

These shares are of the 6,780 live Cal.com domains in our crawl, a slightly wider set than the 6,536 headline. WordPress is on only 16.18%, against 38.02% of Calendly's domains per its profile, and Webflow (10%) and Framer (4.94%) cover much of the no-code side. Expert Analysis: Cal.com Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

I run marketing at TechnologyChecker.io, and a booking embed is one of the first signals I look for, because it shows where a company expects its buyers to talk to it. Our October 2026 crawl finds Cal.com's embed on 6,536 live domains, 4,081 of them matched to a company. A domain counts when a page loads Cal.com's embed script from app.cal.com or app.cal.eu. Plain links to a cal.com page don't count, and nor do self-hosted copies, so this is the hosted, embedded base. I checked it before trusting it. On 15 random pages, 14 loaded the embed, and all 10 booking links I could read went to the site's own account or a named member of its staff.
How fast it's moving
The chart reads 3,857 domains in August, 6,406 in September and 6,536 in October. The August to September step is mostly ours. The set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with dead sites leaving and newly found ones arriving, and our detection widened that month as we captured more of each page. September to October is the cleaner read: a gain of 130 domains. Churn is real but modest. 835 domains dropped Cal.com on at least one hostname since 4 August, and 181 of them still run it on another, which leaves 654 that dropped it everywhere we look.
"Six in ten Cal.com companies were founded this decade. A list that young turns over with the startups on it, so I treat it as a monthly feed rather than a fixed account list." - Elif Arslan, CMO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: treat Cal.com as a steady pool of about 6,500 domains that still adds sites month to month, not a breakout story. The one dated event worth building a message around is April 2026, when Cal.com took its main codebase closed source. That reopened the self-hosting question for its most technical users.
Who the customers are
82.15% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 14.9% have 11 to 50. Only 5 have more than 500. 61.32% were founded in the 2020s, against 43.89% on Calendly's profile. The named rows show what that looks like in practice. FOSSA routes demo requests through a team event, Keboola sends visitors to a team booking page, Evil Martians books exploration calls, and staff at RST Software and Rather Labs take intro calls on their own pages. Auxi'life, a French home-care company with 1,001 to 5,000 staff, is the largest employer among the 50 named rows. It's an outlier.
Sales signal: the buyer is usually a founder or the first sales hire. They picked a developer-friendly tool and will judge yours the same way, on API, embed quality and price per seat.
Europe, India and the agency belt
The United States leads with 945 matched companies, but the eight European countries in the top 15 add up to 1,067. India is second with 317, and Calendly's profile doesn't show India in its top five. Industry is narrower than geography. Software Development (16.48%), IT Services and IT Consulting (13.65%), Technology, Information and Internet (9.89%) and LinkedIn's older Information Technology & Services label (1.75%) make 41.77% together. Marketing, Design and Advertising Services add 19.59%.
Sales signal: this is a list for selling to software firms and agencies, not clinics or salons. Localise for Europe early. There are more European Cal.com companies than American ones, and France, Germany and the Netherlands all sit in the top seven.
Calendly next door
Our switching tests don't find a corridor between the two schedulers. 231 domains have carried both Cal.com and Calendly since we began tracking, and 98 still run both, 42.4% of them. For many sites the second scheduler is an addition, not a replacement, so we don't publish a switching table for Cal.com. The counts also aren't measured the same way. Our detection methods write-up explains why a plain link counts for Calendly but not for embed-only tools, and Calendly's 180,383 domains include those links.
"98 Cal.com domains still run Calendly as well. Two schedulers on one site usually means nobody has made the call yet, and that's the best moment for either vendor to get in touch." - Elif Arslan, CMO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: for Cal.com's own team, Calendly's domains filtered to software firms and agencies are the obvious prospect list. For Calendly, the 98 overlapping domains are a retention list worth a call this quarter.
The stack around it
Next.js runs on 32.14% of the 6,780 live Cal.com domains and Vercel hosts 31.28%. React Router is on 13.19% and Astro on 6.21%. WordPress is on only 16.18%, against 38.02% on Calendly's domains. Webflow (10%) and Framer (4.94%) are the no-code side. Analytics follows the same taste: Google Analytics is on 49.23%, Cloudflare's browser insights on 12.01%, and Umami (2.52%) and Plausible (2.27%) turn up too. Sanity, a headless CMS, is on 1.87%.
Sales signal: developer tools, headless CMSs and privacy-first analytics will find a better-qualified list here than in Calendly's WordPress-heavier base. Pitch on the stack they already chose.
What it costs
Cal.com's pricing page, checked on 14 October 2026, lists a Free plan for one user, Teams at $12 and Organizations at $28 per user a month billed yearly, and quoted Enterprise pricing. Teams adds round-robin scheduling, routing forms, team booking pages and removal of Cal.com branding. On 14 April 2026 the company moved its main codebase to closed source and published a community edition, Cal.diy, under the MIT licence.
Sales signal: the free single-user plan explains the size curve. Team pages (cal.com/team/...) and routing forms are listed as Teams features, so sites showing them, such as FOSSA, Keboola, Evil Martians and Bask Health, are on paid plans and have a budget line for scheduling.
Key takeaways
1. 6,536 live domains, 4th in Appointment Scheduling with 2.31%, counted on embeds only.
2. Very small and very young: 82.15% have 10 or fewer staff and 61.32% were founded in the 2020s.
3. More European companies (1,067 in the top 15) than American (945), with India second.
4. A developer stack: Next.js on 32.14%, Vercel on 31.28%, WordPress on only 16.18%.
5. Calendly runs beside it on 98 domains, and we see no switching corridor either way.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who uses Cal.com?
Mostly small software companies, IT consultancies and agencies. Our October 2026 crawl finds Cal.com's embed on 6,536 live domains. 82.15% of matched companies have 10 or fewer staff, and 41.77% sit in software and IT industries. Named users include Evil Martians, FOSSA, Keboola, KOBIL and Cake, and most book calls into their own team or staff accounts.
How many customers does Cal.com have?
Cal.com's embed script is on 6,536 live domains in our October 2026 crawl, 4,081 of them matched to a company. That counts embeds only: sites that only link to a cal.com page, and self-hosted copies, aren't included. In a sample of 388, 14.4% redirected to another domain, so read it as domains. Since 4 August 2026, 835 domains dropped it on a hostname.
What is Cal.com's market share?
2.31% of Appointment Scheduling, 4th in the category, on 6,536 domains in our October 2026 crawl. Calendly leads with 63.72% on 180,383 domains, followed by Bookly and FareHarbor. The comparison flatters Calendly, because its count includes sites that only link to a Calendly booking page, while Cal.com's counts only pages that load its embed script.
What are the best alternatives to Cal.com?
Calendly is the default: it holds 63.72% of the category in our data, and 98 Cal.com domains run it too. Acuity Scheduling's customers lean to wellness and medical practices, per its profile. If you want to self-host, Cal.com's community edition, Cal.diy, stays open source under the MIT licence after the company moved its main codebase to closed source in April 2026.
Which countries use Cal.com the most?
The United States, with 945 matched companies, then India (317), the United Kingdom (261), France (242), Germany (220) and Canada (150). Taken together, the eight European countries in the top 15 have 1,067, more than the US. India in second place sets Cal.com apart from Calendly, whose profile doesn't list India in its top five. These counts cover 4,081 matched domains.
What size companies use Cal.com?
Very small ones. 82.15% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees, 14.9% have 11 to 50 and 2.38% have 51 to 200. Only 5 have more than 500 staff, among them Auxi'life, a French home-care company. Calendly's customer base is a little less micro, with 79.13% at 1 to 10 employees, according to its profile on TechnologyChecker.io.
How old are companies that use Cal.com?
Young. Of matched companies with a known founding year, 61.32% were founded in the 2020s and 31.36% in the 2010s, which leaves 7.32% older than that. Calendly's profile has 43.89% in the 2020s and Acuity Scheduling's 28.45%, so Cal.com's customers skew newer than either. Many are startups taking demo or founder calls straight from the homepage.
What is the ideal customer profile for Cal.com?
A software startup or digital agency of up to 10 people, founded in the 2020s, based in the US, India or Western Europe, with a Next.js site on Vercel or a Webflow build. It uses Cal.com to book demos, intro calls and consultations. Larger buyers exist but are rare: only 5 matched companies with a known size have more than 500 staff.
What is Cal.com used for?
Booking meetings from a website. On the 15 random Cal.com pages we opened in October 2026, the embed opened an intro or consultation booking under the site's own account, either inline on the page or behind a button. Is Cal.com still open source?
Not the main product. On 14 April 2026 Cal.com announced it was moving to closed source, citing AI-driven security risks, and released a version of its codebase under the MIT licence as Cal.diy, a self-hostable community edition. Our count covers sites that load the embed from Cal.com's hosted service, so self-hosted Cal.diy installs on a company's own domain aren't in it.
