Companies Using Bubble
Our November 2026 crawl finds 5,254 domains serving an app built on Bubble, the no-code platform for web and mobile apps. Bubble hosts the apps it runs, so the signal is strong: its servers add x-bubble-perf and x-bubble-capacity headers, and its pages carry Bubble's own JavaScript. Below is the list of companies that use Bubble, with size, country, industry and stack.
Each domain here needed a paid plan. Bubble's pricing page lists a live website and custom domain from the Starter plan, $32 a month billed annually; the Free plan has a development version only. In a random sample we re-requested on 6 November 2026, 29 of the 38 domains still on the list served a live Bubble app, and 13 of those sat on a subdomain such as app. or a portal. The Alberta Motor Association runs a business portal on Bubble, Dentalia its appointment booking and Electricidade de Moçambique a supplier portal.
Bubble ranks 93rd in CMS & Website Builders with 0.03%, counted after we removed 1,175 placeholder, for-sale and non-customer domains (see How We Counted, below).

Bubble Usage Statistics
The chart has one point, 5,254 domains in November 2026, because the cleaned count starts with this crawl; earlier months still included Bubble's placeholder pages, so we don't chart them. It wouldn't be a same-domain series anyway, since the set of domains we crawl turns over every month. Since tracking began on 16 March 2026, 915 domains dropped Bubble entirely, with no subdomain still running it. Many Bubble apps are small products and prototypes, so read that as turnover.

Which Countries Use Bubble the Most?
Which countries use Bubble the most? The United States, with 963 of the 3,373 companies we matched (28.6%), then France (302), Brazil (286) and the United Kingdom (255), with Australia (135) and Canada (116) behind. France and Brazil sit above the UK and Canada, and the sample showed it: a French insurance wholesaler, a French business-valuation tool and a Brazilian association's member portal were among the live apps.
Share of the 3,373 Bubble domains we matched to a company record — 64.2% of the 5,254 we detect. Top 15 countries shown, so these do not sum to 100%. Domains with no matching company record are not represented here and skew small and independent.
Bubble Market Share Among CMS & Website Builders
What is Bubble's market share? 0.03% of CMS & Website Builders, 93rd, on TechnologyChecker.io's cleaned count, between Gnuboard (5,268 domains) and Optimizely Content Management (5,247). WordPress leads at 61.46%, then Wix (8.93%) and Squarespace (6.63%). Bubble builds applications with logins, databases and workflows, so it shares this table with website builders more than it competes with them.
Top Competitors by Market Share
Bubble Customers by Company Size & Age
What size companies use Bubble? Very small ones. 78.6% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 15.74% have 11 to 50, so 94.34% have 50 or fewer. Only 8 have more than 1,000 staff. Larger organisations use it for one tool: the Alberta Motor Association for a business portal, Electricidade de Moçambique for its supplier portal and MedSênior for an ESG site.
Company Size Distribution
Company Age (Founded Decade)
61.21% of matched companies with a founding year were founded in the 2020s and 27.66% in the 2010s, so 88.87% started in 2010 or later. Just 3.17% predate 1990. That fits what we saw in the sample: login screens for a startup's first product, booking tools and member portals, rather than established companies' main sites.
What Industries Use Bubble the Most?
Software Development leads with 339 companies (24.53%), then Technology, Information and Internet (319, 23.08%) and IT Services and IT Consulting (128, 9.26%), based on our enriched company data. Those three make 786 of the 1,382 companies in the top ten industries, which is what a tool for building software products looks like. Financial Services (8.9%) and Real Estate (6.87%) are the largest non-tech rows.
Staffing firms using Bubble include LRS Healthcare and Jackson Nurse Professionals, both running portals on it. Logistics companies on Bubble include Goldstar Heathrow and iDC Logistics, each with an order or cargo tracker on it. Associations using Bubble include Amcham Brasil for its main site, SESI RS for a cashback programme and TIGER 21 for its member application.
Bubble Alternatives & Competitors

Bubble's direct rivals are other no-code and low-code app builders. The overlap with site builders is real, though: the switching rows below show domains moving between Bubble and Webflow or WordPress, usually a startup's front page.

Tech Stack of Bubble-Powered Websites
Four technologies sit on almost every Bubble domain: Cloudflare (99.6%), Express (99.2%), jQuery (96.86%) and Algolia (95.74%). They are Bubble's own runtime, not choices its customers made: Bubble apps answer through Cloudflare with an X-Powered-By: Express header, and the Algolia match comes from a variable Bubble's page code sets. The customer-chosen layer starts lower down, with Google Analytics on 67.51% and Plausible on 1.24%.

How We Counted Bubble Sites
A domain counts here when its response carries one of Bubble's headers (x-bubble-perf, x-bubble-capacity-used or x-bubble-capacity-limit), when the page defines one of Bubble's JavaScript variables (_bubble_page_load_data, bubble_version, bubble_environment or bubble_hostname_modifier), or when it loads a script from a bubble.io host.
Our raw November count was 6,429 domains. Our standard title filter removed 6 for-sale and gambling pages. We then removed 1,169 more, for two reasons:
- 1,131 Bubble placeholder pages: 1,099 titled "Visual Programming | Bubble" and 32 titled "Bubble | No-code apps". These domains point at Bubble, but no live app answers on them. The placeholder is itself a Bubble page, so it carries every Bubble signal; when we re-requested domains like these on 6 November 2026, they redirected to
bubble.io/domain_not_supported. - 38 domains that weren't Bubble customer sites: Bubble's own domains, and sites built elsewhere that only load a partner-tracking script another software company serves from its Bubble app's file storage.
That leaves 5,254, which every chart and table on this page uses. In a random sample re-checked the same day, 29 of the 38 domains still on the list served a live Bubble app. 3 had switched to Bubble's placeholder since the crawl, 3 no longer reached a working site, 2 had moved to another platform, and one loaded a single file from someone else's Bubble app without being a Bubble site.
Expert Analysis: Bubble Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

I check our detection rules against live pages, and Bubble's raw count needed cuts before I could trust it. A domain counts when it carries Bubble's response headers, Bubble's page variables or a script from a bubble.io host. Our raw November 2026 crawl had 6,429. 1,131 of them showed Bubble's own placeholder, "Visual Programming | Bubble", because the domain pointed at Bubble with no live app behind it. Another 38 weren't customer sites, and 6 were for-sale pages. 5,254 remain, and 3,373 match a company.
What a live Bubble domain looks like
On 6 November 2026 I re-requested a random sample; 38 of those domains are still on the list. 29 served a live app, every one with Bubble's headers and an X-Powered-By: Express line behind Cloudflare. 13 of the 29 sat on a subdomain, often a login screen. 3 had since switched to Bubble's placeholder, 3 no longer reached a working site and 2 had moved away. One only embedded a file from another company's Bubble app.
Sales signal: a custom domain on Bubble needs a paid plan, from $32 a month on Starter. So every live domain on this list sits on a paid plan.
Two kinds of user
78.6% of matched companies have 1 to 10 staff and 61.21% were founded in the 2020s. That is the startup side, where the Bubble app is the product. The other side is established organisations running one portal: the Alberta Motor Association's business portal, Dentalia's appointment booking, Electricidade de Moçambique's supplier portal.
Sales signal: for startups, sell what a growing app needs next: payments, email, analytics. For the portal users, the buyer is the department that owns the portal, not central IT.
Where it sits
The United States leads with 963 matched companies, but France (302) and Brazil (286) come before the UK (255). Switching is two-way and small: 61 domains moved from WordPress to Bubble since March and 36 the other way, which looks like startups moving their front page.
Sales signal: treat France and Brazil as first-tier Bubble markets, with local-language outreach.

Bubble-hosted apps send Bubble's own response headers, which is how we detect them.

Check the response headers for x-bubble-perf or x-bubble-capacity-used, or look in the page source for _bubble_page_load_data and scripts from a cdn.bubble.io host. Bubble apps also answer through Cloudflare with X-Powered-By: Express. A single file from cdn.bubble.io isn't proof: some sites embed a script stored on another company's Bubble app.
Why do some domains show a Bubble placeholder page?
When a domain points at Bubble but no live app answers on it, visitors get Bubble's own page, which now redirects to bubble.io/domain_not_supported and is titled Visual Programming | Bubble. We removed 1,131 such domains from this count. In a random sample re-checked on 6 November 2026, 3 more had switched to it since the crawl.
