Companies Using Coveo

On our data, mostly large, established companies running Coveo as the search on their main, support or careers sites. UnitedHealth Group, Medtronic, Halliburton, SLB, Texas Instruments, Vanguard, AMD and Palo Alto Networks all ran Coveo search when we checked on 6 November 2026. Health care is the largest vertical once medical practices and device makers are included.

We count 2,493 domains in our November 2026 crawl, after removing 86 www. duplicates and 83 alias domains, and 1,213 of them match a company. Domains still overstate buyers: in a random 38 we re-checked, 22 forwarded to another domain. Since tracking began on 16 March 2026, 658 domains dropped Coveo entirely.

Coveo holds 1.2% of Website Personalization on TechnologyChecker.io, 25th, with 2,493 domains. Zoho PageSense leads at 8.78%, then Rebuy (7.21%) and Adobe Target (5.76%). What we detect for Coveo is mostly its search interface, so the share compares a search product with personalisation tools.

In our Website Personalization table the largest rows are Zoho PageSense (18,297 domains), Rebuy (15,024), Adobe Target (12,009) and Piano (11,036). For Coveo's main job, site and support search, the closer alternatives are search products such as Algolia and Klevu, and the search built into platforms such as Sitecore.

The United States, with 699 of the 1,213 companies we matched, then Canada (88), the United Kingdom (63), Germany (33), Australia (28) and Switzerland (26). Coveo is a Canadian company with a Montréal address on its investor site, and Canadian organisations such as WSP and the University of Alberta run its search.

Large companies carry the list. 277 of the matched companies with a known size (24.1%) have more than 1,000 staff, and 111 have more than 10,000. Smaller firms are present too: 25.15% have 1 to 10 employees and 20.63% have 11 to 50.

Mostly established. 21.57% of matched companies with a founding year were founded before 1960, 20.59% in the 2000s and 20.17% in the 2010s. Only 2.24% started in the 2020s, which fits enterprise search: companies buy it once their sites hold a lot of content.

On our data, a US or Canadian company with more than 1,000 staff, in software, health care or real estate, founded before 2010, running a Sitecore or Adobe-managed site with Google Tag Manager (83.23%) and OneTrust (50.82%), plus a support portal or knowledge base that needs search.

Coveo is used to run search, recommendations and generated answers on websites, support portals, commerce sites and workplace tools; its site lists Commerce, Service, Website and Workplace solutions. On our crawl it mostly shows up as the search box: 23 of the 24 sampled sites where we found Coveo had a Coveo search interface on the page.

Coveo Solutions Inc. is a Canadian software company; its investor relations site lists a Montréal address. It sells an AI search and relevance platform, and its about page says it has 750 experts in AI, search and personalisation. It acquired Qubit, a London personalisation company, in October 2021.

Yes. Coveo announced the acquisition of Qubit, a London-based company making AI personalisation for merchandising teams, on 15 October 2021, per its investor relations site. Our Coveo rule still reads Qubit's tags, but none of the sampled domains we re-checked on 6 November 2026 carried one. The count is Coveo's own code.

Look in the page source or network panel for files from static.cloud.coveo.com, such as searchui, atomic or coveoua.js, for elements named atomic-search-interface or CoveoSearchInterface, or for paths under /coveo/ on Sitecore sites. Pages on Coveo's older framework also expose a Coveo object in the browser console. Bot protection hides all of this from simple requests on many large sites.
