Companies Using TrustedSite

I expected TrustedSite to be a checkout badge for online shops, and found a website-builder add-on instead. A domain counts here when a page on it loads TrustedSite's badge script from cdn.trustedsite.com, whether that's the standard script or the one its Shopify app adds. That gives 93,953 live domains, 55,921 of them matched to a company, and 5th place in Reviews & Ratings with 5.35%. The script carries no account ID: TrustedSite certifies each site by its own domain, so every badge belongs to the site that shows it. Who put it there is another question.

GoDaddy put most of them there

I took a random sample of 40 live domains and opened each in a browser. 35 loaded and 33 ran the script. Of those 33, 17 were GoDaddy Websites + Marketing sites, which load it with a bottom-left position flag inside a builder section called widget-trustedsite, and 14 ran on GoDaddy's managed WordPress hosting, each adding it through the same script handle, trustedsite-badge-js, behind GoDaddy's hosting gateway. Only two were Shopify stores using TrustedSite's app. GoDaddy's help page explains the builder half: TrustedSite is automatically included with new paid Websites + Marketing annual subscriptions, enabled by default, and shown for the first 5,000 visits each month. GoDaddy's DNS shows up on 87.5% of TrustedSite domains in our detection, and Shopify on 8.44%.

Sales signal: a TrustedSite badge mostly tells you the site sits on a paid GoDaddy plan. Treat this list as GoDaddy's small-business customers with a published site, not as merchants who went looking for conversion tools.

Three readings, no trend yet

The chart reads 78,523 domains in August 2026, 97,811 in September and 93,953 in October. I wouldn't read growth into that. The set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with dead sites dropping out and new ones added, and our detection signals widen over time, so the August to September step reflects changes on our side more than a surge in installs. The churn figure is large for a two-month window: 12,732 domains have dropped TrustedSite on at least one hostname since we began tracking it on 4 August 2026, and 402 of those still run it on another hostname. Some of that will be sites closing or moving off a GoDaddy plan, since the badge goes with the plan, but two months of data can't yet split the causes.

Sales signal: a site that drops TrustedSite may have changed its website plan or host. Check the hosting before you pitch: a move is a trigger for hosting, website-builder and agency offers more than for a rival seal.

Script on the page, badge on the screen

Our count is script loads, so I checked whether the badge appears on screen. In the random sample it did on all 33 sites that loaded the script: the floating TrustedSite tab in the bottom corner. The bigger names behave differently. Among the 45 sites from our 50-company list that finished loading in a browser, 28 showed the badge and the rest ran the script with nothing on screen, including PerkinElmer's blog, Inspiro and Integrity Staffing Solutions. The plans explain part of it. TrustedSite's free plan shows the trustmark for 500 visits a month and GoDaddy's bundle for 5,000, after which the badge disappears until the next month, so busy sites can carry the script and show nothing.

Sales signal: on high-traffic sites, a TrustedSite script with no badge is often a sign the site has outgrown its visit allowance. TrustedSite's own upsell is plainest there.

Who the customers are

73.0% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 20.53% have 11 to 50. Age points the same way: 61.27% were founded in 2010 or later. There's still a tail of 160 companies with more than 1,000 staff, and the large companies in our list are mostly GoDaddy managed WordPress customers too: Canopy Growth on its main site, United States Cold Storage on uscold.com, the Center for Autism and Related Disorders on centerforautism.com, PerkinElmer on its blog. Several outsourcing and IT services firms, Inspiro, Raya and EnFuse Solutions among them, run it on their main sites.

Sales signal: at a large company the site carrying TrustedSite is usually a marketing site or blog on GoDaddy hosting, run by a small web team. That team, not central IT, is the buyer for anything sold against this list.

Contractors, consultants and clinics

Construction leads at 6.63%, then Business Consulting and Services (4.35%), Medical Practices (3.4%) and Real Estate (3.33%). Retail is ninth at 2.38%. The top ten add up to only 32.25% of matched companies, so this is a general small-business base. Geography is narrower. The United States has 39,598 matched companies, about ten times Canada's 4,051, and the US, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia together hold 48,089 of the 55,921 matched domains.

Sales signal: for local-service software, such as quoting, booking or review requests, the US and Canadian contractors and clinics on this list are a clean target: small, web-present and already paying GoDaddy.

Seals versus review widgets

Our category table puts TrustedSite beside review tools, and the overlap is small. 1,334 domains run TrustedSite and Trustindex together today, out of 1,518 ever seen with both; Yotpo Reviews shares 534, Trustpilot 434 and Loox 387. No pair passes our switching tests. Its real rivals are the other seals in the same table, and TrustedSite is far ahead of them: about 3.6 times DMCA Badge (26,179 domains) and 4.4 times Trusted Shops (21,125).

Sales signal: review platforms can pitch these sites as a first review tool. Judge.me, the most common review app in the stack, runs on only 2.82% of TrustedSite domains.

The stack around it

Shares here are of the 91,302 live domains we could check cleanly. Google Analytics runs on 44.05%, and WordPress plugins fill out the analytics picture: Site Kit on 3.76%, WordPress.com Stats on 3.37% and MonsterInsights on 3.19%. Commerce is thin, with Shopify on 8.44%, WooCommerce on 7.08% and PayPal on 7.67%. Consent banners are rarer still, with CookieYes on 1.34%.

Sales signal: most of these sites have analytics and little else. Consent, reviews and online payments are all open slots on a typical TrustedSite domain.

What it costs

TrustedSite's pricing page (checked 13 October 2026) has a free plan that shows the trustmark for 500 visits a month. Paid plans scale with traffic: 10,000 visits a month costs $99 a month billed annually, plus $10 per extra 1,000 visits. The Shopify app's Pro plans start at $39 a month for 2,000 visits. GoDaddy includes TrustedSite with new annual Websites + Marketing plans at no extra cost, though not on Lite, trial or free plans.
