Our October 2026 crawl finds LoyaltyLion on 6,235 domains. LoyaltyLion, founded in London in 2012, runs points, VIP tiers and referrals for Shopify brands, loaded on the storefront from its own script host, loyaltylion.net. Below is the list of companies that use LoyaltyLion, with size, country, industry and stack. It includes Evereve, Stride Rite, Oh Polly, Darn Tough, Anastasia Beverly Hills and Targus's US store.

LoyaltyLion ranks 4th of the 51 technologies we track in Loyalty & Rewards, with 4.94% of the category. Its customers are the most British of the three biggest loyalty apps: 506 of the 2,635 matched companies (19.2%) are in the United Kingdom, against 11.04% on Smile's profile and 8.93% on Yotpo Loyalty's. 13.11% have more than 50 staff, and 98.93% of LoyaltyLion domains run Shopify.

LoyaltyLion Usage Statistics

LoyaltyLion reads 5,132 domains in June 2026, 6,189 in July, 6,272 in August, 6,257 in September and 6,235 in October. The June to July step reflects changes on our side, both the domains we cover and the signals we detect LoyaltyLion with, rather than a wave of new programmes: the set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with dead stores dropping out and newly found ones added. Since July the count has held between 6,189 and 6,272. Since we began tracking it on 16 March 2026, 849 domains dropped it on at least one hostname, and 71 of those still run it on another. Those drops are mostly real: of 29 domains marked as having left it everywhere, 24 were live stores without LoyaltyLion and one still ran it.

List of Companies Using LoyaltyLion

Who uses LoyaltyLion? This list of companies that use LoyaltyLion names 50 of the 2,635 matched companies. Each loaded LoyaltyLion's script when we checked it in October 2026. Several are LoyaltyLion's own published case studies, among them Evereve, Stride Rite, Oh Polly, waterdrop, Medik8 and Darn Tough. Institutions use it too: the Royal Armouries on its museum shop and the Jewish National Fund on shop.jnf.org. We removed three rows: one site we could not load past a bot check, one whose store no longer loaded LoyaltyLion, and one whose LinkedIn match named a regional subsidiary.

Expert Analysis: LoyaltyLion Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

Elif Arslan
Elif ArslanCMO & Co-founder, TechnologyChecker

LoyaltyLion, founded in London in 2012, has a smaller, older and more British customer base than Smile, and our October 2026 crawl shows by how much. A domain counts here when a page loads LoyaltyLion's SDK from sdk.loyaltylion.net or creates its loyaltylion object. That gives 6,235 domains, 2,635 matched to a company, and 4.94% of Loyalty & Rewards, 4th of 51. In a random sample of 130 domains, 122 (93.8%) loaded the programme; two sat behind a password page and two domains had expired. The company raised a $12.5 million Series A from Kennet Partners in March 2021.

Brands with many storefronts

Page titles show brands running LoyaltyLion across many country or campaign domains. Onnit's title appears on 31 domains, Vitality's on 22, Kuru Footwear's on 18 and the Finnish clothing brand Nanso's on 15, one of LoyaltyLion's published case studies. Each of those fleets is one customer, but none reaches 1% of the count, so the headline stays a fair read of how many stores run the programme. LoyaltyLion's script address usually carries no account key, so we can't count programmes the way we can for Yotpo's loyalty app.

Sales signal: group a LoyaltyLion list by brand before you count accounts, and route multi-domain brands to whoever owns international ecommerce.

Flat since July

The chart reads 5,132 in June, 6,189 in July, 6,272 in August, 6,257 in September and 6,235 in October. The June to July step is ours: the set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with dead stores dropping out and new ones added, and our detection signals widened over the same weeks. Since July the count has moved by less than 90 domains. 849 domains dropped LoyaltyLion on at least one hostname since 16 March 2026, and 71 of them still run it on another hostname. When I opened 29 domains marked as having dropped it everywhere, 24 were live stores without LoyaltyLion and only one still loaded it, so the drop count is close to real churn.

"LoyaltyLion's count has barely moved since July, and the stores marked as leaving it mostly did remove it. It is a settled base of established brands, so treat it as a renewal market." - Elif Arslan, CMO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io

Sales signal: expect long contracts and considered switches. Time outreach to renewal and peak-season planning rather than to install spikes.

Who the customers are

56.01% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 staff and 30.87% have 11 to 50, so 86.88% have 50 or fewer. 13.11% have more than 50 staff. Only 12.97% were founded in the 2020s, against 24.51% on Smile's profile. The named list is built on brands with a marketing team: Evereve, Stride Rite, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Targus, Lodge Cast Iron, Turtle Wax. LoyaltyLion's case studies line up with our data. Evereve, Stride Rite, Oh Polly, waterdrop, Medik8, Holy, Darn Tough and Pacifica are on our list, and 100% Pure, Ethique, Moon Juice, Snocks and The INKEY List all loaded LoyaltyLion when I checked them.

Sales signal: these brands buy through a demo and a business case. Lead with retention numbers and integrations, and expect a marketing manager rather than a founder on the call.

A British and European base

The United States has 1,138 matched companies and the United Kingdom 506, one British company for every 2.2 American ones. Smile's profile has one for every 4.5 and Yotpo Loyalty's one for every 6.8. The eight European countries in the top 15 hold 829 of the 2,635 matched companies (31.46%). Spain stands out among the named brands, with Scalpers, BUND, Koroshi and Nude Project. Consent tools confirm the tilt: Pandectes runs on 8.15% of LoyaltyLion domains, against 2.76% on Smile's.

Sales signal: LoyaltyLion's list has a higher UK share than Smile's or Yotpo Loyalty's, so UK and EU Shopify brands with 10 to 200 staff are easiest to find here. Translation, consent and VAT-aware tools fit them.

Rivals on the same store

Our switching tests publish no corridor. 253 LoyaltyLion domains run Smile today, out of 360 ever seen with both; Yotpo Loyalty shares 110 (178) and BON Loyalty 58 (72). Most of those stores still run both apps. Two of the named brands show the pattern: DAVIDsTEA loads both LoyaltyLion and Yotpo's loyalty app, and BUND loads both LoyaltyLion and Smile.

"A store running LoyaltyLion and a second loyalty app is either migrating or still has an old app installed, and its loyalty setup is up for review." - Elif Arslan, CMO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io

Sales signal: the 253 stores running LoyaltyLion and Smile are the clearest prospects for either vendor and for agencies that run loyalty migrations.

The stack around it

Of the 6,171 live domains in our stack analysis, Shopify runs on 98.93% and Klaviyo on 59.33%. Reviews are spread across Judge.me (25.04%), Yotpo Reviews (11.17%), Trustpilot (10.08%) and Okendo (7.03%). Trustpilot's rate is about twice its rate on Smile's domains, another British marker. Google Analytics is on 78.12%.

Sales signal: LoyaltyLion connects to the reviews app a brand already has, so a reviews vendor selling into this list competes on reviews alone, not against a bundle.

What merchants pay

LoyaltyLion's pricing page, checked on 15 October 2026, lists Classic at $199 a month for 500 orders, with Advanced and Plus quoted. VIP tiers are an add-on on Classic and included from Advanced. A free Shopify plan sits underneath, recommended up to 400 orders a month. The Shopify listing shows 4.7 stars from 543 reviews and a launch date of July 2014.

Sales signal: VIP tiers cost extra on Classic and come included from Advanced, so a LoyaltyLion store showing VIP tiers has paid for more than the entry plan.

Key takeaways

1. 6,235 domains, 4.94% of Loyalty & Rewards, flat since July.

2. 19.2% of matched companies are British, the highest share of the three biggest loyalty apps.

3. Established brands: 13.11% above 50 staff, 12.97% founded in the 2020s.

4. 93.8% of sampled domains loaded the programme.

5. No switching corridor, but 253 stores run Smile beside it.
