Companies Using BON Loyalty
Our October 2026 crawl finds BON Loyalty on 4,415 live domains, 5th of the 51 tools we track in Loyalty & Rewards, with 3.49% of the category. BON is a Shopify app: a points, VIP-tier and referral widget on the storefront, with an optional loyalty page and points at checkout and in Shopify POS. Below is the list of companies that use BON Loyalty, with size, country, industry and stack. It includes Optica, the Kenyan optician chain, the jeweller Armenta, Aurora's plush-toy shop and the club shops of Stade Malherbe Caen and Chattanooga FC.
BON's stores are small and young. 70.81% of matched companies with a known size have 10 or fewer staff, and 31.54% were founded in the 2020s. The United States has 459 of the 1,416 companies we matched, with the United Kingdom (149), Canada (103) and France (77) behind it, a flatter spread than Smile's or Rise.ai's profiles show. A free plan for up to 150 orders a month fits that crowd.

Since July the line has added only 168 domains. Since we began tracking BON in March 2026, 774 domains have dropped it on at least one hostname, and 40 of those still ran it on another when we checked in October.

Which countries use BON Loyalty the most? The United States, with 459 matched companies, then the United Kingdom (149), Canada (103), France (77), Australia (60) and Germany (45). That's about three American companies for every British one, where Smile's profile runs about 4.5 to one (8,246 to 1,827) and Rise.ai's nearly ten (1,182 to 123). Singapore (36), India (34), China (24) and Malaysia (18) all make the top 15, and the company list adds stores in Kenya, Egypt, Indonesia and the Philippines. These counts cover the 1,416 domains we matched to a company.
Share of the 1,416 BON Loyalty domains we matched to a company record — 32.1% of the 4,415 we detect. Top 15 countries shown, so these do not sum to 100%. Domains with no matching company record are not represented here and skew small and independent.
BON Loyalty Market Share Among Loyalty & Rewards
What is BON Loyalty's market share? 3.49% of Loyalty & Rewards, 5th of the 51 tools we track there, based on our live crawl at TechnologyChecker.io. The table is top-heavy: Smile has 48,800 domains (38.63%) and Appstle 21,436. Below LoyaltyLion's 6,235 the middle is tight. BON's 4,415 is only 153 domains ahead of Rise.ai (4,262), so 5th place can change on any monthly refresh.
Top Competitors by Market Share
BON Loyalty Customers by Company Size & Age
What size companies use BON Loyalty? Mostly very small ones. 70.81% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 20.92% have 11 to 50, so 91.72% have 50 or fewer. Only 8 have more than 500 staff. That's close to Smile's profile (74.21% at 1 to 10) and well above Rise.ai's (55.06%) or LoyaltyLion's (56.01%). The biggest named users, such as Optica and Aurora, run BON on their main store.
Company Size Distribution
Company Age (Founded Decade)
BON's customers skew young. 31.54% of matched companies with a founding year date from the 2020s and 43.53% from the 2010s, so three in four were founded since 2010. LoyaltyLion's profile puts 12.97% in the 2020s and Rise.ai's 11.92%. The older names on our list include the Chilean winery Viu Manent (1935), the Finnish jeweller Kalevala (1937) and Optica (1959).

Past them it's the usual direct-to-consumer mix of beauty, food, wellness and jewellery, with no single niche above 5%.
Sports clubs using BON Loyalty form a small cluster: Stade Malherbe Caen on boutique.smcaen.fr, Chattanooga FC on its online store, the Peterborough Petes on their souvenir shop and Persebaya on its official merchandise store. Food brands on BON Loyalty include Lir Chocolates in Ireland, ROYCE' Chocolate's US store, LAMILL Coffee and Superplum in India. Jewellery brands using BON Loyalty include Armenta and Kalevala.
BON Loyalty Alternatives & Competitors
All four rows here are Shopify loyalty apps, so the comparison is like for like, and some BON stores run a second one beside it. 125 BON domains run Smile today, out of 223 ever seen with both, and 58 run LoyaltyLion, out of 72. Joy shares 12 domains and Loloyal 19. With most of those stores still running both, our switching tests publish no corridor. Appstle, 2nd in the category with 21,436 domains, isn't in this table; 179 BON domains run it too.

Tech Stack of BON Loyalty-Powered Websites
These percentages are of the 4,425 live BON domains in our analysis, and Shopify is on 99.98% of them. Reviews are the most common companion: Judge.me runs on 45.6%. Klaviyo itself is on 30.98%, about half its rate on Rise.ai's or LoyaltyLion's domains, and Mailchimp on 10.49%. Google Analytics shows on 90.6%, but part of that is BON's: its widget loads a Google Analytics tag under BON's own measurement ID to count widget loads, so read it as an upper bound for the stores' own analytics.

Expert Analysis: BON Loyalty Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

I expected BON Loyalty's customers to look like a cheaper copy of Smile's. They don't. They're about as small, but younger and more international. Our October 2026 crawl finds BON on 4,415 live domains, 5th of 51 in Loyalty & Rewards. A domain counts when its pages load BON's storefront script from bonloyalty.com or print the shop settings that BON's app embed writes into the page. I checked that against the live web: of 100 random domains, 95 loaded BON (one of them behind a store password), three didn't answer and two showed no BON code.
Domains, stores and closed shops
4,415 is a count of domains, and some brands run one store on several. 598 of the domains in our analysis load their store from another domain in the same set, and they point at 379 stores. ImagiKnit, Swissvax and Tulsa Body Jewelry each sit behind ten or more addresses. Counting each store once leaves about 3,830 of the 4,425 domains we analysed. Closed shops matter less: 34 domains, 0.77%, carry Shopify's closed-store, error or password title.
Sales signal: dedupe by store before you size a campaign. About one row in seven is an extra address for a store that's already on the list.
Reading the chart
The chart reads 3,215 domains in June 2026, 4,247 in July, then 4,368, 4,396 and 4,415 in October. The June to July jump isn't a burst of installs. The set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with closed stores dropping out and new ones added, and our detection widened over the same months. Since July the line has added 168 domains. Exits are easier to count. Since we began tracking BON in March 2026, 774 domains have dropped it on at least one hostname, and 40 of those still ran it on another when I checked.
"BON's customers aren't Smile's minus the big brands. 31.54% were founded this decade, and there are three American companies for every British one, not four and a half." - Elif Arslan, CMO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: treat BON as a steady pool of about 4,400 domains. Seven months of exits is too short to call a churn rate, so don't build a pitch on stores leaving it.
Who the customers are
70.81% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees, and 91.72% have 50 or fewer. That puts BON beside Smile (74.21% at 1 to 10) and a long way from LoyaltyLion (56.01%) or Rise.ai (55.06%). Age points the same way: 31.54% were founded in the 2020s, against 12.97% on LoyaltyLion's profile. The largest names run BON on a main store. Optica, the Kenyan optician chain with 501 to 1,000 staff, uses it on optica.africa, and Aurora, the plush-toy brand, on auroragift.com.
Sales signal: most rows are owner-run stores. The person who installed BON usually decides on the next app as well, so self-serve trials and short demos fit this list better than a committee sale.
A wide map
The United States has 459 matched companies, the United Kingdom 149, Canada 103 and France 77. That's about three American companies per British one, where Smile's profile shows about 4.5 (8,246 to 1,827) and Rise.ai's nearly ten (1,182 to 123). Asia makes the top 15 as well: Singapore (36), India (34), China (24) and Malaysia (18). The company list goes further, with Tomato Store in Egypt, Torch in Indonesia, E&L in the Philippines and HiClean in Pakistan. BON's listing offers the app in English, German, Spanish, French and Japanese.
Sales signal: for anyone selling Shopify apps or services outside North America, BON's list holds a bigger non-US share than Smile's, Yotpo's, LoyaltyLion's or Rise.ai's. Local-language support is the angle to lead with.
Club shops
Retail leads at 21.58% of matched companies with an industry, then apparel (9.53%), personal care (4.95%) and food and beverage services (4.86%). One small group stands out on the company list: sports clubs selling merchandise. Stade Malherbe Caen, Chattanooga FC, the Peterborough Petes and Persebaya all run BON on their club shops.
Sales signal: club stores share a buyer, usually the commercial or merchandise manager, and a seasonal calendar. That makes them a reachable niche for fan-engagement and ticketing tools.
Next to Smile and the rest
All four rows in BON's comparison table are Shopify loyalty apps, so it compares like with like. Some stores run two at once. 125 BON domains run Smile today, out of 223 ever seen with both, and 58 run LoyaltyLion, out of 72. Joy (12) and Loloyal (19) overlap less. Appstle, 2nd in the category with 21,436 domains, isn't in the table, yet 179 BON domains run it. With so many stores still running both apps, our switching tests publish no corridor for BON.
"Of the 223 domains we've seen with BON and Smile, 125 still run both. More than half, which is why I wouldn't call that switching yet." - Elif Arslan, CMO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: a store showing two loyalty apps is in the middle of a decision. That's the moment for a migration offer, from either side.
The stack around it
Shopify is on 99.98% of the 4,425 domains we analysed. Judge.me runs on 45.6%, so reviews are the most common companion. Klaviyo itself is on 30.98%, about half its rate on Rise.ai's (61.81%) or LoyaltyLion's (59.33%) domains, and Mailchimp on 10.49%. Instafeed (18.03%) and Hextom (6.51%) are the usual small-store apps. One figure needs care. Google Analytics shows on 90.6%, but BON's widget loads a Google Analytics tag under BON's own measurement ID to count widget loads, so part of that figure is BON's, not the store's.
Sales signal: with Klaviyo on under a third of these stores, BON's base is open ground for email and SMS tools. BON's listing names Klaviyo, Judge.me and Fera among the apps it works with.
What it costs
BON is sold on the Shopify App Store by VEGAHUB Technology Inc., listed in Oakville, Ontario, and launched on 16 August 2021. It has the Built for Shopify badge and a 5.0 rating from 1,973 reviews. Plans are priced by monthly orders: Free up to 150, Starter at $15 a month up to 300, Basic at $29 up to 500 and Growth at $129 with no cap. Paid plans come with a 7-day trial. Shopify POS points start on Basic, VIP tiers on Growth. Checked on 15 October 2026 against the listing and BON's pricing page.
Sales signal: the order caps turn growth into a renewal moment. A store passing 150 or 500 orders a month meets an upgrade screen, and that's when a rival's migration offer lands best.

A Shopify store with 1 to 10 staff, founded in the 2010s or 2020s, selling clothing, beauty, food or jewellery direct to consumers in the US, UK, Canada or France. It probably runs Judge.me for reviews, as 45.6% of BON domains do, and is less likely to run Klaviyo (30.98%) than stores on Rise.ai or LoyaltyLion.

Basic adds Shopify POS points and Growth adds VIP and B2B tiers. Paid plans have a 7-day trial and an enterprise plan is quoted. Checked 15 October 2026.
Is BON Loyalty free?
Yes, up to 150 orders a month. BON's Free plan includes a points and rewards program, a referral program with anti-cheat checks, automated emails and discount or free-shipping rewards, per its Shopify listing on 15 October 2026. A dedicated loyalty page, birthday rewards and point expiry start on Starter, at $15 a month for up to 300 orders.
Is BON Loyalty legit?
Yes. BON Loyalty is listed on the Shopify App Store by VEGAHUB Technology Inc., launched in August 2021, with a 5.0 rating from 1,973 reviews and the Built for Shopify badge (checked 24 October 2026). Our crawl finds its storefront script on 4,415 live domains, and 95 of 100 random domains we opened in October loaded it.
Which Shopify loyalty program is the best?
It depends on the store. By installed base, Smile leads our Loyalty & Rewards table with 48,800 domains, then Appstle (21,436), Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals (9,741), LoyaltyLion (6,235) and BON (4,415). BON's customers are among the smallest, with 70.81% at 10 or fewer staff. Larger brands lean to Yotpo, LoyaltyLion or Rise.ai, whose customers are bigger.
How do I add a loyalty program to Shopify?
Install a loyalty app from the Shopify App Store, set the earning rules and rewards, then switch on the app embed in your theme editor so the widget appears on the storefront. That embed is what our crawl sees: a domain counts for BON when its pages load BON's storefront script. BON's Free plan covers the first 150 orders a month.
Does BON Loyalty work with Shopify POS?
Yes. BON's Shopify listing names Shopify POS among the tools it works with, and its pricing page puts in-store earning and redemption of points on the Basic plan, $29 a month, and above. Our crawl only sees the online storefront, so the 4,415 domains don't show how many of those stores also use BON at the till. Checked 15 October 2026.
BON Loyalty vs Smile: how do they compare?
Smile is about 11 times BON's size in our crawl: 48,800 domains against 4,415. Their customers look alike, with 74.21% of Smile's matched companies and 70.81% of BON's at 10 or fewer staff, but BON's lean less American. 125 domains run both today, out of 223 ever seen with both, so most of the overlap is two apps side by side.
