Companies Using Edwiser Bridge

I expected Edwiser Bridge to be a free plugin on hobby sites, and I was wrong on both counts. In our October 2026 crawl a domain counts here when a page on it loads a stylesheet or script from the plugin's folder, /wp-content/plugins/edwiser-bridge/ or its Pro and single sign-on siblings. That gives 1,386 domains, 11th of 60 in Learning Management (LMS), with 995 matched to a company. On 15 October I fetched a random 110 of them. 92 loaded the plugin; 3 no longer resolve, 8 timed out twice, 5 sat behind bot walls and 2 now load without it.

What we count: the WordPress half

Edwiser Bridge does one job: it joins a WordPress site to a Moodle site, so the courses live in Moodle and the selling and sign-up happen in WordPress. So our count is the WordPress half. Only 303 of the 1,376 domains live in mid-October also run Moodle on the same domain; the rest most likely connect to a Moodle on another domain or behind a login. The plugin also sits on the main site more often than on a subdomain: only 92 of the 1,376 run it solely on a host such as training. or online. Its WordPress.org listing shows more than 4,000 active installations; the gap to our 1,386 is likely installs on staging sites, intranets or pages our crawl doesn't reach.

Sales signal: every row here is a Moodle customer, even when the Moodle site isn't visible. Moodle hosts, theme makers and Moodle consultancies can treat this as a list of Moodle owners who also care about selling.

Mostly paying sites

The plugin's folder names give away the edition. Of the 90 sampled pages whose source we could read, 58 loaded Edwiser Bridge Pro and 12 the single sign-on extension, beside the free plugin. Only 20 ran the free plugin alone. A Pro site that doesn't load Pro's files on the scanned page would look free to us, so 70 in 90 is a floor on the paid share. Edwiser's pricing on 15 October, during a sale, put Pro at $179 a year for one site or $449 for a lifetime licence.

Sales signal: these sites have already paid for software once. A site that pays for a WordPress-to-Moodle bridge has budget for the pieces around it, from hosting to payment gateways to course content.

Flat since July

The usage chart reads 1,124 domains in June, 1,288 in July, 1,325 in August, 1,382 in September and 1,386 in October. The early step is ours. The set of domains we crawl turns over every month, dead sites out and new ones in, and our detection reached more pages that load the plugin. Since July the line has moved by about 100 domains.

Sales signal: it's a steady pool of about 1,400 sites. Plan on account depth, not on new installs arriving each month.

Colleges, institutes and training providers

61.39% of matched companies with a known size employ 1 to 10 people and 28.72% employ 11 to 50. That second band is larger than Thinkific's 21.49%, and the age table points the same way: 19.17% were founded before 2000, among them the Chartered College of Teaching (1849) and Helen Keller Services (1893). Teaching organisations make up 52.86% of matched companies with a known industry. These are colleges, accredited training providers and professional bodies, and 31 matched companies employ more than 200 people.

Sales signal: pitch to a training manager or a registrar, not a solo creator. Accreditation, compliance and learner records matter more to these buyers than course-marketing features.

Spanish and Portuguese, like Moodle

The United States has 162 matched companies and Spain 159, nearly a tie. Brazil (67), the United Kingdom (64), Italy (48), South Africa (45) and Chile (43) follow. The Spanish-speaking rows in the top 15 add up to 272, and with Brazil it's 339 of 995, about a third. Moodle's own profile shows the same tilt, with Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking countries at 32% of its matched base, so Edwiser Bridge follows where Moodle is strong.

Sales signal: a Spanish- and Portuguese-language campaign reaches a third of this list. Payment providers for Spain and Latin America, and Moodle partners in those markets, have a ready target here.

No switching to report

Our switching tests found nothing worth publishing. The largest raw flow, 41 domains that dropped Edwiser Bridge on a hostname and run Moodle, fails at once: of the 349 domains ever seen with both, 303 still run both. That's a plugin and the system it serves, not a move. LearnDash overlaps on 18 domains today, of 27 ever. Separately, 235 domains have dropped Edwiser Bridge on at least one hostname since we began tracking on 16 March 2026, and 20 of those still run it on another.

Sales signal: the bigger risk to Edwiser Bridge is a school dropping Moodle to run courses inside WordPress with a plugin such as LearnPress, which 40 Edwiser domains already run.

The stack: WooCommerce and the plugin's own libraries

WooCommerce runs on 1,139 of the 1,376 live domains, which is the Pro edition's selling route. WordPress is on 100% and Elementor on 53.2%. DataTables (93.75%) and jQuery UI (93.17%) look like choices but aren't: Edwiser Bridge loads its own copies from its public assets folder, which I saw in the source of sampled pages. Consent tools are common, with CookieYes on 10.9% and Complianz on 9.81%.

Sales signal: treat the list as WooCommerce stores that sell education. WooCommerce extension makers, payment gateways and tax tools are the natural sellers into it.
