Companies Using Hostinger CDN

A Hostinger CDN detection is one of the simplest signals in our crawler: one HTTP response header. When a site answers with server: hcdn, the response came through Hostinger's edge. As of our October 2026 crawl, 688,682 domains send it, and 349,848 of the 673,386 in our clean live set match a company record, a 51.95% match rate. Because it's a hosting add-on rather than a product anyone buys, I read every hit as a statement about the hosting account (our post on technology detection methods explains how header signals are matched).

What the signal catches

Hostinger's plan page says the CDN is included with all Web hosting plans as well as Cloud and Agency, isn't available on VPS, and can't be put in front of a site hosted elsewhere. The domain has to use Hostinger nameservers. So the count is Hostinger-hosted sites with the CDN on, and our stack data agrees: 98.51% of these domains also show Hostinger hosting.

I checked the header on a sample of 40 live domains. 35 answered with hcdn. Three of those were Hostinger placeholders (an expired-domain notice, a default page and a parking page), the kind our title filter removes: it took out 32,513 of 705,899 raw domains (4.6%) before any chart was drawn. Of the 32 real sites, 23 ran WordPress, three were built with Hostinger's own builders and six showed neither WordPress nor a Hostinger builder.

Sales Signal: A hit tells you three things at once: the company hosts with Hostinger, lets Hostinger manage its DNS, and is on a shared, cloud or agency plan rather than a VPS. Anyone selling migrations, managed WordPress or DNS services can filter on exactly that.

Growth trajectory

Our current crawl window reads 237,802 domains in June 2026, 410,496 in July, 486,918 in August, 651,858 in September and 688,682 in October. Part of that is ours. Counts are not a like-for-like series over time: the set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with dead sites dropping out and newly found ones added, and our detection signals widen over time. Part of it is Hostinger's. Its CDN guide says that from 24 August 2026 it enables the CDN automatically for eligible shared hosting sites, and the August to September step of 164,940 followed.

Exits look real. 40,599 domains have dropped the header on at least one hostname since we began tracking it in March 2026. When I re-ran that count in October, only 1,499 of 40,630 still sent it from another hostname.

Sales Signal: Don't treat a new detection as buying intent. A domain that gained the header in late August probably got it from Hostinger's rollout. The useful trigger is the opposite one: a site that turned the CDN off may be changing CDN or host.

The companies behind the domains

This is a micro-business base. 69.18% of matched companies with a size band have 1 to 10 employees and 90.38% have 50 or fewer. 40.31% were founded in the 2010s and 39.35% in the 2020s, so four in five were founded in 2010 or later. Only 1,332 companies have more than 1,000 staff.

Larger names are there, usually on one site. CMPC Brasil uses it for its visits site and Özyeğin University for a scholarship programme site, while Mendes Júnior and Highnoon Laboratories run it on their main domains. The salon chain Jawed Habib, the Colombian retailer Altipal and Mexico's DIF Matamoros also answered with the header when I checked. In our named list, 46 of 50 were detected on the main domain.

Sales Signal: Budgets here are likely small and decisions fast. Self-serve products priced monthly fit; long enterprise sales cycles don't. The 11 to 50 band (21.2%) is where anything above entry-level pricing has a chance.

Industry and geography

India leads with 84,130 of 349,848 matched companies (24.05%), then Brazil (45,466) and the United States (42,438). India and Pakistan together hold 26.14%, and Brazil, Mexico, Colombia and Argentina 18.35%. English-speaking markets beyond the US are small: the UK has 18,282, Canada 7,409 and Australia 5,355. IT Services leads the industries at 6.07%, and Advertising plus Marketing Services come to 7.57%, probably agencies hosting client sites.

Sales Signal: Localise before you prospect. Portuguese and Spanish reach Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Argentina and Spain (73,485 matched companies), and India and Pakistan add 91,442. Agencies matter more than their share suggests, because one agency account can stand behind many client sites.

Cloudflare and the one-CDN rule

Hostinger's Cloudflare comparison says only one CDN should be active, calls Cloudflare in front of Hostinger CDN an unsupported setup and rate-limits traffic that passes through both. In our October 2026 crawl 7,747 domains still carry both, out of 46,631 seen with both since March. We count at domain level, so some pairs sit on different hostnames rather than stacked on one. Amazon CloudFront (475), QUIC.cloud (113) and Fastly (61) barely register.

There's no migration table on this page. Domains moved between Hostinger CDN and Cloudflare in both directions in similar numbers, which our switching test reads as noise rather than a trend, and the August rollout changed DNS records on eligible sites by default.

Sales Signal: The 7,747 dual-CDN domains are a service lead for WordPress maintenance agencies and DNS consultants: a known misconfiguration with documented symptoms (redirect loops, stale cache, wrong visitor IPs). Check the hostname before you pitch.

Technology ecosystem

Across 673,392 clean live domains, WordPress runs on 65.02% and Elementor on 39.69%. Hostinger's Website Builder accounts for 7.3% and Horizons, its AI app builder, for 1.33%. Divi is on 2.95%. Google Analytics is on 40.43%, Site Kit on 6.22% and MonsterInsights on 2.6%. Consent tools are thin: CookieYes on 2.52%, Complianz on 1.75%.

Sales Signal: WordPress plugin vendors have the clearest fit, Elementor add-ons above all. Consent management is the gap: fewer than one site in twenty carries CookieYes or Complianz, and the base includes UK, French and Spanish businesses.

What users say

Hostinger CDN has no review profile of its own, so I looked at search results. For "hostinger cdn", Google ranks Hostinger's own help pages first, followed by how-to videos on enabling and disabling it and Reddit threads with titles such as "Stop Forcing That Terrible CDN on Us, Hostinger" and "How to Disable CDN?". Hostinger's own explainer is candid that the CDN doesn't speed up HTML a WordPress site generates for each request. Our data fits that mood: the 164,940-domain step in September came after a default Hostinger set, on top of the usual month-to-month changes in what we crawl and detect.

Sales Signal: Speed and caching vendors can pitch into that frustration honestly. The CDN covers static files; slow PHP, heavy themes and uncached pages are still the customer's problem.
