Companies Using Rise.ai

Our October 2026 crawl finds Rise.ai on 4,262 live domains, 6th of the 51 tools we track in Loyalty & Rewards, with 3.37% of the category. Rise.ai is a gift card and store credit app for Shopify. It isn't a points program: its own site pitches loyalty as "Skip the Points", with rewards paid as credit in the shopper's account. Below is the list of companies that use Rise.ai, with size, country, industry and stack. It includes New Era, Eddie Bauer, KEEN, TOMS, Liquid Death and Milk Bar, one of the brands on Rise's own case-study page.

Rise's customers are bigger and more American than most loyalty apps'. 1,182 of the 1,896 companies we matched are in the United States, and 31.24% of those with a known size have 11 to 50 staff, against 20.92% on BON Loyalty's profile. Klaviyo runs on 61.81% of Rise domains. Rise.ai announced it was joining Wix in May 2021; what we count here is its Shopify storefront script.

Rise.ai Usage Statistics

Rise.ai reads 3,486 domains in June 2026, 4,194 in July, 4,201 in August, 4,123 in September and 4,262 in October. The June to July step comes from our side, not from a wave of installs: the set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with closed stores dropping out and newly found ones added, and our detection widened over the same months. Since July the line has stayed within 139 domains. Since we began tracking Rise in March 2026, 1,037 domains have dropped it on at least one hostname, and 154 of those still ran it on another when we checked in October.

List of Companies Using Rise.ai

Who uses Rise.ai? This list of companies that use Rise.ai names 50 of the 1,896 matched companies, ordered by LinkedIn following. We fetched every page in October 2026 and each loaded Rise's storefront script, a few after a redirect or only in a full browser. We removed one row: Hope Services' shop redirects to a merchandise platform's store, so the Rise install there belongs to the platform. Many rows are a shop beside a bigger site, such as shop.schweigerderm.com, shop.beta.team and store.kanakuk.com, so the Rise.ai customer is often the team that runs the online store.

Rise.ai Market Share Among Loyalty & Rewards

What is Rise.ai's market share? 3.37% of Loyalty & Rewards, 6th of the 51 tools we track there, based on our live crawl at TechnologyChecker.io. That share sets a store credit app beside points apps, so read it as reach rather than a head-to-head. Smile leads with 48,800 domains, then Appstle (21,436) and Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals (9,741). Rise's 4,262 sits 153 domains behind BON Loyalty and 541 ahead of Joy (3,721), so its 6th place is closer to the rank above than the one below.

Rise.ai Alternatives & Competitors

Rise.ai sells store credit and gift cards, and the four rows here sell points programs, so this table isn't like for like. Hundreds of stores run both kinds. 274 Rise domains run Smile today, out of 403 ever seen with both, and 247 run Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals (360 ever). LoyaltyLion shares 91 domains (143 ever) and Joy 5. Most of those stores still run both, so our switching tests publish no corridor: the points app and the credit wallet sit side by side.

Expert Analysis: Rise.ai Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

Elif Arslan
Elif ArslanCMO & Co-founder, TechnologyChecker

Rise.ai is the odd one out in Loyalty & Rewards. It doesn't sell points. It sells gift cards and store credit, and its site pitches loyalty as "Skip the Points". Our October 2026 crawl finds it on 4,262 live domains, 6th of 51 in the category. A domain counts when its pages load Rise's storefront script from strn.rise-ai.com or set the settings object that script creates. The script address carries the store's Shopify name, so I could test installs directly: of 300 random stores, 295 got their Rise settings back and 5 got an error, the sign of an app that's no longer installed. On 100 random homepages, 94 loaded Rise (two of them behind a store password), 3 showed no Rise code and 3 didn't load at all.

Stores, not just domains

Because the store name is in the script address, this page can count stores as well as domains. The 3,514 domains where we could read it belong to 2,551 stores. 562 stores sit on more than one domain: CurlMix on 19, Wacoal on 13, Sama Eyewear and Zipster on 12, AllHeart on 11. Closed shops barely register, with 28 domains, 0.67%, carrying Shopify's closed-store, error or password title.

Sales signal: dedupe by store, not by domain. About one domain in four on this list is an extra address for a store that's already on it.

Reading the chart

The chart reads 3,486 domains in June 2026, 4,194 in July, 4,201 in August, 4,123 in September and 4,262 in October. The jump into July isn't a rush of installs. The set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with closed stores dropping out and new ones added, and our detection widened over the same months. Since July the line has moved within 139 domains. Exits are clearer. Since March 2026, 1,037 domains have dropped Rise on at least one hostname, and 154 of those still ran it on another when I checked. Bokksu is a good example of why that needs care: it's on Rise's case-study page, our records show it dropping, and its homepage loaded Rise again when I opened it in October.

"Rise is the loyalty app for brands that already have a customer list. Half its companies were founded in the 2010s and only 11.92% this decade." - Elif Arslan, CMO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io

Sales signal: treat Rise as a stable pool of about 4,200 domains, and fewer stores than that. Seven months of exits, with hostname flicker in them, is too short to sell against a churn story.

Bigger, older, more American

Of the 1,896 companies we matched, 1,182 are American, nearly ten for every British one, where BON Loyalty's profile shows about three. They're bigger: 55.06% have 1 to 10 staff and 31.24% have 11 to 50, against 74.21% at the smallest band on Smile's profile. They're older: 11.92% were founded in the 2020s, against 31.54% on BON's. The names show it. New Era, Eddie Bauer, KEEN, Bauer and Pure Fishing all run Rise on their main stores, and Rise matches 45.14% of its domains to a company page, against 32% for BON. Two brands on Rise's own case-study page, Milk Bar and ICON Meals, are live in our crawl.

Sales signal: more of these are brands with an ecommerce team than on BON's or Joy's lists. At those, expect a retention or CRM lead to own the decision, and expect them to compare vendors.

Credit beside points

The comparison table sets Rise against four points apps, which isn't like for like, and the overlap shows stores using both. 274 Rise domains run Smile today, out of 403 ever seen with both. 247 run Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals (360 ever) and 91 run LoyaltyLion (143 ever). Yotpo even lists a Rise.ai integration that pays review rewards as store credit. With most pairs still running both, our switching tests publish no corridor for Rise.

"Of the 403 domains we've seen with Rise and Smile, 274 still run both. Most of those stores added a credit wallet next to points rather than picking one." - Elif Arslan, CMO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io

Sales signal: for a points vendor, a Rise store is a cross-sell, not a takeover. For Rise, the 48,800 Smile domains are the obvious place to look for brands that have points but no store credit.

Klaviyo, reviews and returns

The 4,200 Rise domains we analysed run a fuller stack than most loyalty apps' stores. Klaviyo is on 61.81%, roughly double its rate on BON Loyalty's or Joy's domains. Yotpo Reviews (14.95%) and Okendo (7.86%) show more stores paying for reviews. The post-purchase apps line up with Rise's refund-to-credit pitch: in our crawl 578 Rise domains run Gorgias, 385 run Recharge, 214 run Loop Returns and 213 run Redo.

Sales signal: Rise stores already pay for several retention tools. Pitch an integration with Klaviyo or the returns app they use, not a replacement for what they have.

What it costs

The Shopify App Store lists Rise.ai as the developer, launched on 17 December 2014, rated 4.7 from 765 reviews. There is no free plan. Starter costs $19.99 a month for 100 orders, Small-Business $59.99 for 400 and Pro $199.99 for 2,000, with extra orders at $0.20, $0.15 or $0.10 each and a 7-day trial on each. Rise's pricing page shows the annual rates ($16.99, $47.99 and $159.99 a month) plus Premium at $479.99 for 12,000 orders. Rise announced it was joining Wix on 6 May 2021 and added a Square app in January 2026. Checked 15 October 2026.

Sales signal: per-order fees on top of the plan make a big season expensive. Brands near the 400 or 2,000-order line are the ones re-reading their bill.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who uses Rise.ai?

Mostly established American direct-to-consumer brands. Our October 2026 crawl finds Rise.ai on 4,262 live domains, and 1,182 of the 1,896 companies we matched are in the US. Named users include New Era, Eddie Bauer, KEEN, TOMS, Liquid Death, Good American and Milk Bar, which also appears on Rise's own case-study page. Most have 50 or fewer staff.

How many customers does Rise.ai have?

Our October 2026 crawl finds Rise.ai live on 4,262 domains. Its script carries each store's Shopify address, so we can count stores as well: the 3,514 domains where we could read it belong to 2,551 stores, because brands like CurlMix and Wacoal point many domains at one shop. Since March 2026, 1,037 domains have dropped Rise on at least one hostname.

What is Rise.ai's market share?

3.37% of Loyalty & Rewards, 6th of the 51 tools we track, on 4,262 live domains in October 2026. That table mostly holds points apps, led by Smile (48,800 domains), Appstle and Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals, so the share measures reach more than direct competition. Rise sits 153 domains behind BON Loyalty and 541 ahead of Joy.

What are the best alternatives to Rise.ai?

It depends on the job. For points and VIP tiers, the big Shopify apps in our data are Smile (48,800 domains), Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals (9,741) and LoyaltyLion (6,235), and many Rise stores already run one beside it: 274 run Smile today. Those apps replace Rise's loyalty features, not its gift cards or refund-to-credit tools, so compare store credit apps for that part.

Which countries use Rise.ai the most?

The United States, with 1,182 matched companies, then Australia (142), the United Kingdom (123) and Canada (120). That's nearly ten American companies for every British one, where BON Loyalty's profile shows about three. France (31), Singapore (21) and New Zealand (21) follow, and no other country reaches 20. These counts cover the 1,896 domains we matched to a company.

What size companies use Rise.ai?

Small to mid-sized. 55.06% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees, 31.24% have 11 to 50 and 10.84% have 51 to 200. That's a base of larger companies than Smile's profile (74.21% at 1 to 10) or BON Loyalty's (70.81%). Seven have more than 1,000 staff, among them New Era Cap, Eddie Bauer and Pure Fishing.

How old are companies that use Rise.ai?

Mostly founded in the 2010s, 52.07% of matched companies with a founding year, then the 2000s (18.89%). Only 11.92% date from the 2020s, against 31.54% on BON Loyalty's profile, and 7.15% from the 1990s. The oldest on our list include New Era and Eddie Bauer, both founded in 1920, Kanakuk (1926) and Bauer (1927).

What is the ideal customer profile for Rise.ai?

An American direct-to-consumer brand on Shopify with 1 to 50 staff, founded in the 2010s, selling clothing, footwear, food or beauty. It probably runs Klaviyo, as 61.81% of Rise domains do, plus a review app, and it sells gift cards or pays refunds and rewards as store credit. A points app such as Smile or Yotpo often runs beside it.

How much does Rise.ai cost?

Rise.ai's Shopify listing shows Starter at $19.99 a month for 100 orders, Small-Business at $59.99 for 400 and Pro at $199.99 for 2,000, with extra orders at $0.20, $0.15 or $0.10 each. Paying yearly lowers those to $16.99, $47.99 and $159.99 a month, and rise.ai also lists Premium and a quoted Enterprise plan. Checked 15 October 2026.

Is Rise.ai free?

No. Rise.ai has no free plan on its Shopify listing. Every plan comes with a 7-day free trial, and the cheapest, Starter, costs $19.99 a month for up to 100 orders plus $0.20 for each order above that. Its pricing page says the prices shown are for Rise's Shopify customers only. Checked 15 October 2026.

Can I use gift cards on Shopify?

Yes, and gift card apps such as Rise.ai add a full program on top: branded and bulk gift cards, custom amounts, a balance page and store credit, per Rise's Shopify listing on 15 October 2026. Our October 2026 crawl finds Rise's storefront script on 4,262 live domains, including New Era, KEEN and Milk Bar, which sells its gift cards through it.

Can store credit be used online?

Yes, where the store has set it up. With Rise.ai, a store can issue credit for refunds, rewards, cashback or service problems, and the shopper spends it at online checkout. Rise's listing also names Shopify POS among the tools it works with, for in-store use. Rise sells this as its alternative to points: its site's loyalty pitch reads "Skip the Points".

Is Rise.ai owned by Wix?

Rise.ai announced it was joining Wix on 6 May 2021, in a post on its own blog that said nothing would change for customers. Its Shopify listing still names Rise.ai as the developer, and in January 2026 it listed an app on Square's marketplace. Our crawl counts the Shopify storefront script only, so stores on other platforms aren't in the 4,262 domains.

Rise.ai vs Yotpo: do stores use both?

Often. 247 Rise domains run Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals today, out of 360 ever seen with both, and 14.95% of Rise domains run Yotpo Reviews. Yotpo sells points and tiers, Rise sells credit and gift cards, and Yotpo lists a Rise.ai integration that pays review rewards as store credit. Yotpo Loyalty is bigger in our crawl, on 9,741 domains.

Does Rise.ai work with Loop Returns?

Yes. Rise.ai's Shopify listing names Loop Returns among the apps it works with, alongside Klaviyo, Gorgias, Attentive and AfterShip. In our crawl 214 Rise domains also run Loop Returns and 213 run Redo, another returns app. Those pairs fit the model Rise's site describes, where a refund becomes store credit rather than cash going back to the card.
