Companies Using Loop Returns
Our October 2026 crawl finds Loop Returns on 3,780 live domains, nearly all of them Shopify stores, many of them selling clothes. The domain count runs well ahead of the number of brands. When we requested every homepage on 14 October, 1,267 of the 2,837 domains that answered (44.66%) redirected to another domain, and those 2,837 folded into 1,685 storefronts: brands such as Thursday Boot Company, LSPACE and OtterBox point typo, country and campaign domains at one main store. Below is the list of companies that use Loop Returns, with size, country, industry and stack. It includes Panasonic, Eddie Bauer, Gymshark, Dickies and Rare Beauty.
Loop sells returns and exchanges software for Shopify brands, and its App Store listing gives an address in Columbus, Ohio. Loop Returns Usage Statistics
Loop reads 2,765 domains in June 2026, 3,403 in July, 3,530 in August, 3,655 in September and 3,780 in October. The June to July step is mostly on our side: the domains we crawl turn over every month, with dead sites dropping out and new ones added, and our detection of Loop widened over the summer. Read the later months the same way, as coverage plus real change, not as a growth rate. Since we began tracking Loop on 16 March 2026, 523 domains have dropped it on at least one hostname, and in a re-check 80 of them still ran it on another.

Which Countries Use Loop Returns the Most?
Which countries use Loop Returns the most? The United States, with 1,226 matched companies, then Australia (124), the United Kingdom (77) and Canada (73). Those four English-speaking markets hold 1,500 of the 1,631 companies we matched. Australia ahead of the UK is the surprise; Loop's base there includes fashion labels such as Princess Polly and Ally Fashion. Continental Europe barely registers, with France (9), the Netherlands (7) and Germany (6).
Share of the 1,631 Loop Returns domains we matched to a company record — 43.1% of the 3,780 we detect. Top 15 countries shown, so these do not sum to 100%. Domains with no matching company record are not represented here and skew small and independent.
Loop Returns Market Share Among Shipping, Fulfillment & Returns
What is Loop Returns' market share? 0.76% of Shipping, Fulfillment & Returns, 22nd in the category, on our live crawl at TechnologyChecker.io. The category mixes tracking pages and shipping apps with returns software, so the like-for-like comparison is the returns tools. Redo is the biggest of those with 5,879 domains (1.18%), and AfterShip Returns Center has 1,678 (0.34%). Route (9,023) sells package protection beside a separate returns product, and Seel (1,599) sells shopper-paid protection that also covers returns.

What Industries Use Loop Returns the Most?
Retail Apparel and Fashion leads at 41.12%, then Retail (16.98%) and Apparel & Fashion (8.91%), so the two apparel labels alone cover 50.03% of matched companies with a known industry, based on our enriched company data. Beauty and personal care (2.74%), jewellery (3.65%) and sporting goods (3.3%) follow far behind. Loop's base is fashion first, and clothing is where fit problems drive exchanges.

Expert Analysis: Loop Returns Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

Loop Returns is the returns tool I hear named most by Shopify fashion brands, so I wanted to know how much of its footprint is brands and how much is domains. A domain counts here when a page links to a Loop returns portal (an address on loopreturns.com) or loads Loop's on-store script. Our October 2026 crawl gives 3,780 live domains, 1,631 matched to a company, 22nd in Shipping, Fulfillment & Returns. I opened the 50 named pages and saw Loop on 41; the rest timed out, sat behind bot checks or redirected to a local distributor's site.
Domains, storefronts and portals
On 14 October we requested the homepage of 3,765 domains from our clean set. 2,837 answered, and 1,267 of them (44.66%) redirected to another domain, almost always another Loop domain. Thursday Boot Company points 49 domains at its main store, LSPACE 35, OtterBox 30 and Bon Charge 25. Those 2,837 domains fold into 1,685 storefronts. The portal links tell the same story: 1,245 homepages linked a Loop portal, and they pointed at 775 portals, about 1.6 domains each.
Because the rule also counts a plain link, we checked whose portal each store links. Every mismatch we found was the store's own group. Four Australian surf and fashion stores link the portal of Board Collective, whose site calls itself the online store for Saltwater Wine, Stormriders and Red Herring. Ten band domains all point at Armada Merch's single Shopify store and share its portal. No store linked an unrelated brand's portal. Closed or broken stores are rare, 18 domains (0.48%).
Sales signal: collapse a Loop list by redirect target or portal before you count accounts. Across all 3,765 domains, homepage titles put the ceiling at 2,389 distinct storefronts.
Growth: trust the October figure
The chart reads 2,765 in June, 3,403 in July, 3,530 in August, 3,655 in September and 3,780 in October. The June to July step is mostly our side: the domains we crawl turn over every month as dead sites drop out and new ones appear, and our detection of Loop widened over the summer. 523 domains dropped Loop on at least one hostname since we began tracking it on 16 March 2026, and in a re-check 80 of them still ran it on another.
"Almost half the Loop domains that answered us were redirects. Count storefronts instead of domains and Loop's base shrinks by about 40%, and it's still a strong position in Shopify fashion." - Sophie Clarke, Product Marketing Manager at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: size the market from the October figure and the storefront count. Neither supports pitching Loop's base as a fast-growing segment.
Who buys it
79.76% of matched companies with a known size have 50 or fewer staff, and only 36 have more than 500. They're young: 51.8% were founded in the 2010s. The large users tend to run Loop on a dedicated shop. Panasonic uses it on shop.panasonic.com and its LUMIX and MultiShape sites, which share one portal, and Carhartt and Canada Goose on resale shops with their own portals.
Sales signal: at a large brand, find the e-commerce or resale team that owns the Shopify store. Corporate IT won't know Loop is there.
Fashion, and English-speaking
The two apparel labels cover 50.03% of matched companies with a known industry: Retail Apparel and Fashion (41.12%) and Apparel & Fashion (8.91%). Add Retail (16.98%), much of it clothing, and the picture is clear. Geography is just as narrow. The United States has 1,226 matched companies, then Australia (124), the United Kingdom (77) and Canada (73), together 1,500 of 1,631. France, the Netherlands and Germany have 22 between them.
Sales signal: European returns tools have open ground, because Loop barely shows up in continental Europe in our data. Australia, with 124 matched companies, is Loop's second market and worth its own list.
Redo, Route and the overlap
We publish no switching rows for Loop, because the pairs mostly run side by side. Redo is the big one: 374 domains have run Loop and Redo together since we began tracking Redo in August, and 218 still run both. Route shares 165 domains with Loop today (211 ever), Seel 26 (28) and AfterShip Returns Center 6 (13). Cross-border tooling sits beside Loop too: 323 Loop domains (8.58%) load Global-e's Shopify script.
"Redo is the rival Loop shares the most stores with: 374 domains have run both. Some of those stores will settle on one tool, and our next crawls will show which." - Sophie Clarke, Product Marketing Manager at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: the 218 stores running both Loop and Redo may be mid-decision. A vendor that helps them consolidate has a natural opening.
The stack around it
Shopify runs on 99.28% of Loop domains. Apple Pay (95.35%), Shop Pay (94.24%) and PayPal (85.66%) are standard, and Klaviyo is on 88.16%. A smaller group runs its own tracking: Snowplow is on 9.27% and Elevar on 6.0%. Consent managers are uncommon, with Pandectes on 8.23% and OneTrust on 7.3%.
Sales signal: the Klaviyo and Shop Pay layer is saturated. Server-side tracking and consent are far less saturated.
Pricing and review signals
Loop's pricing page (14 October 2026) lists Checkout+ as free, with returns software, US and Canadian return labels and package protection. Essential starts at $155 a month and Advanced at $340. On the Shopify App Store Loop rates 4.6 from 446 reviews, 88% five-star and 7% one-star. Checkout+ includes package protection, which puts Loop up against Route and Seel as well as Redo.
Sales signal: a Loop store on the free tier is a different buyer from one paying $340 a month. Ask which tier they're on early.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who uses Loop Returns?
Mostly American Shopify fashion brands with fewer than 50 staff, plus a few large names. Our October 2026 crawl finds Loop on 3,780 live domains. 50.03% of matched companies with a known industry carry an apparel label. Named users include Panasonic, Eddie Bauer, Gymshark, Dickies, Rare Beauty and bareMinerals, and club shops such as Crystal Palace FC's.
How many customers does Loop Returns have?
Loop's site says 5,000 brands choose it. Our October 2026 crawl finds Loop on 3,780 live domains, but many are aliases: of the 2,837 that answered our check on 14 October, 44.66% redirected elsewhere and they folded into 1,685 storefronts. The 1,245 homepages linking a Loop portal pointed at 775 portals. 523 domains dropped Loop on at least one hostname since March 2026, and 80 still run it on another.
What is Loop Returns's market share?
Loop Returns holds 0.76% of the Shipping, Fulfillment & Returns category, ranking #22. This is a share of the domains we detect running a platform in this category — not a share of all websites, and not a share of spending — so it is not directly comparable to figures published on other denominators.
What are the best alternatives to Loop Returns?
Redo is the most common alternative and the most common companion: 218 Loop domains run it today, on 5,879 Redo domains in total. AfterShip Returns Center (1,678 domains) has self-serve paid plans from $19 a month, against Loop's $155. Route (9,023) sells shopper-paid package protection plus a returns product, and Seel (1,599) sells shopper-paid protection that covers returns too. Most stores ever seen with Loop and a rival still run both.
Which countries use Loop Returns the most?
The United States, with 1,226 matched companies, then Australia (124), the United Kingdom (77) and Canada (73). Those four markets hold 1,500 of the 1,631 companies we matched. Australia ranks ahead of the UK, helped by fashion labels like Princess Polly and Ally Fashion. Continental Europe is thin: France has 9, the Netherlands 7 and Germany 6.
What size companies use Loop Returns?
Small ones. 44.75% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 35.01% have 11 to 50, so 79.76% have 50 or fewer staff. Only 36 have more than 500. The large users include Panasonic on its US online store, Eddie Bauer and Dickies, so the product works for big brands too, but they're a thin tail.
How old are companies that use Loop Returns?
Mostly brands of the last 15 years. Among matched companies with a known founding year, 51.8% were founded in the 2010s, 17.99% in the 2000s and 13.58% in the 2020s. 41 companies predate 1960, including Carhartt (1889), Brooks Running (1914), Panasonic (1918) and Eddie Bauer (1920), some of them using Loop on a separate shop or resale site.
What is the ideal customer profile for Loop Returns?
An American Shopify fashion brand with 1 to 50 staff, founded in the 2010s, selling direct to consumers. It already runs Klaviyo (88.16% of Loop domains), Shop Pay (94.24%) and Google Analytics. Australian, British and Canadian apparel brands are the next segment, and larger brands often run Loop on a separate online shop or resale site.
What is Loop Returns' market share?
Loop holds 0.76% of Shipping, Fulfillment & Returns in our crawl, 22nd in the category, on 3,780 live domains. Among returns tools, Redo is bigger with 5,879 domains (1.18%) and AfterShip Returns Center smaller with 1,678 (0.34%). Route (9,023) leads the protection apps. The category also holds tracking and shipping tools, which is why Loop's share looks small.
What stores use Loop Returns?
Clothing and lifestyle stores, mostly on Shopify. Ones we saw running Loop in October 2026 include Eddie Bauer, Dickies, Farm Rio, Veronica Beard, Princess Polly, Life is Good, Marine Layer, Rothy's and Knix, beauty brands such as Rare Beauty and Milk Makeup, and club shops for Crystal Palace FC, Charlton Athletic and LIV Golf. In total our crawl finds 3,780 live domains.
Is Loop Returns only for Shopify?
In practice, yes. 99.28% of live Loop domains in our crawl run Shopify, and we found no meaningful base on other platforms. Loop's Shopify app went live on 27 May 2021 and rates 4.6 from 446 reviews (checked 14 October 2026). A brand on another platform should confirm support with Loop before planning around it.
