Companies Using Boost Commerce
Our October 2026 crawl finds Boost Commerce on 8,746 live domains, and all but one of the clean set are Shopify stores. Boost sells only through the Shopify App Store, where the app is listed as Boost AI Search & Filter. Below is the list of companies that use Boost Commerce, with size, country, industry and stack. It includes Tupperware, Kenneth Cole, Mamas & Papas, Brookstone, Voltas and the club shops of Rangers, Athletic Club and Feyenoord.
Boost ranks 5th of the 58 technologies we track in Site Search with 5.2%, after FiboSearch, Algolia, Doofinder and Searchanise. Its company facts page says it was founded in 2017 and is a product of Clearer.io. Our rule reads the app's storefront settings, which load whether a store uses Boost for collection filters, for search or for both, so this counts stores running the app rather than stores using its search box.

Since we began tracking Boost in March 2026, 1,113 domains have dropped it on at least one hostname, and about 140 of those still run it on another.

Expert Analysis: Boost Commerce Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

I pulled Boost Commerce out of our October 2026 crawl knowing it would be all Shopify. It is: all but one of the 8,697 clean live domains run Shopify. A domain counts here when a page loads Boost's widget from cdn.boostcommerce.io or carries the app's filter settings, which point at Boost's services.mybcapps.com servers. That gives 8,746 live domains, 4,065 matched to a company, 5th of 58 in Site Search. I fetched the 50 companies listed on this page: 48 loaded Boost; one now redirects to a new domain and one refused the connection. Three earlier rows didn't hold up (one domain is dead, two stores no longer load Boost), so I replaced them with the next verified companies.
Filters, search or both
The rule reads the app's storefront settings, and those load whether a store uses Boost for collection filters, for its search box or for both. In the 82 store pages I fetched with Boost on them, 39 had instant search switched on in the page settings, 7 had it off and the rest didn't say. So a Boost detection means the app is installed and configured. It doesn't always mean Boost answers the store's searches.
Sales signal: treat a Boost store as a filter customer first. Whether it also uses Boost search is a question for the discovery call, and the answer changes the pitch.
A jump in August, then a flat line
The chart reads 4,154 in June, 4,771 in July, 7,850 in August, 8,607 in September and 8,746 in October. The July to August jump is our side: the set of domains we crawl turns over every month as dead sites drop out and new ones are added, and our detection signals widen. From September to October the line adds 139 domains. Since we began tracking Boost in March 2026, 1,113 domains dropped it on at least one hostname; about 140 still run it on another.
"Boost's base is more fashion-heavy than Searchanise's or Doofinder's. About one matched company in five sells clothes, shoes or jewellery." - Sophie Clarke, Product Marketing Manager at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: a steady pool of about 8,700 stores. Don't read the summer jump as momentum when you size the market.
Aliases, clubs and one odd page title
A few owners hold many domains. DEX, an industrial supplier, has 39 numbered domains such as dex1001.com, all showing its store. Vitality, an athleisure brand, has 22 aliases and Hello Archie 19 country domains. Tupperware has several. None is more than half a percent of the count. 20 domains carry the page title "American Express": they're ordinary independent stores whose own title tag is empty, so our crawler read the label on the first payment-card icon. Sports clubs form a real cluster, with Rangers, Athletic Club, Feyenoord and Silverstone all running their official shops on Boost.
Sales signal: dedupe by owner before counting prospects. The sports-club shops are a tidy vertical for merchandise, ticketing and fan-engagement sellers.
Small stores, English-speaking markets
51.54% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 31.77% have 11 to 50. The US has 1,662 matched companies, the UK 563, Australia 428 and Canada 292: 75.99% of the base is English-speaking. Australia is stronger here than on Searchanise's larger profile (328). Fashion is the core, with Retail Apparel and Fashion at 10.51% against 5.4% on Searchanise. Among the 44 companies above 1,000 staff are consumer brands on their own stores, such as Tupperware, Voltas, BrandsMart USA and Mamas & Papas, and brands on a second store, such as Twinings on its trade site.
Sales signal: for fashion and footwear tools, Boost's list is the better-qualified Shopify list. The UK and Australia deserve their own campaigns.
Overlap with Searchanise and Doofinder
Our switching tests publish no rival for Boost because the overlaps are small and about half still run both. 64 domains run Boost and Searchanise today, out of 120 that ever ran both. 38 run Boost and Doofinder, out of 52, and 8 run it with Klevu. Boost publishes comparison pages against both Searchanise and Doofinder, so the vendors see each other as the competition even if stores rarely move between them.
"Only 64 stores run Boost and Searchanise side by side today. On Shopify the fight is for the store that hasn't picked a search app yet." - Sophie Clarke, Product Marketing Manager at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: displacement is slow. The bigger opening is Shopify stores still on the default search, where Boost's own sellers are pitching too.
The Shopify app stack
Across the 8,697 clean live domains, Google Analytics runs on 82.43%. Klaviyo is on 48.24% and Klaviyo Reviews on 41.08%, both higher than on Searchanise's domains. Judge.me is on 20.9%, Instafeed on 18.27% and Yotpo Reviews on 9.36%. Consent tools barely show: Pandectes on 6.5%, Cookiebot on 1.92%. Boost sells integrations with Klaviyo and REVIEWS.io from its own site, which fits the stack.
Sales signal: nearly half of Boost stores run Klaviyo. Tools that join on-site search behaviour to email flows have an obvious audience.
What it costs and what merchants say
Boost prices by monthly online revenue. Its pricing page lists Launch at $29 a month for stores up to $50K GMV, and at the default $100K GMV setting, Convert at $239 and Accelerate at $399. Above $2.5M GMV it quotes, and every plan starts with a 21-day trial. The Shopify listing is rated 4.7 from 1,635 reviews. Boost's own customer story features Smith Optics, which also loads Boost in our crawl.
Sales signal: revenue-based pricing means a good season raises the bill. Fast-growing stores are the ones re-pricing their search, in both directions.
