Companies Using CartPops

Our October 2026 crawl finds CartPops on 1,045 live domains. CartPops is a slide-out side cart for WooCommerce, and it's the odd one out in Cart & Checkout, where the tools ranked above it are mostly Shopify apps. WooCommerce runs on 99.9% of the domains behind our stack figures. Below is the list of companies that use CartPops, with size, country, industry and store stack. It includes Seymour Duncan, Chesterfield FC's club superstore, Christensen Arms and the dental supplier Medidenta.

Most of these stores are built on Divi. The theme runs on 56.8% of CartPops domains, against 6.27% of all live WooCommerce domains we track, and two Divi child themes, Molti Ecommerce and DiviCommerce, run CartPops in their demo stores. Between them they account for 248 of the 866 homepages where we found CartPops' code on 14 October, or 28.6%. CartPops ranks 14th of 33 with 1.36% of the category, and its buyers are small: 76.6% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 staff.

CartPops Usage Statistics

CartPops reads 821 domains in June 2026, 983 in July, 1,006 in August, 1,030 in September and 1,045 in October. That's a flat line rather than a growth curve. The domains we crawl turn over every month, with dead sites dropping out and new ones coming in, and our detection widened over the summer, which explains the June to July step. The product did change: CartPops 2.0 shipped on 2 October 2026, and by 14 October 271 of the 866 homepages carrying CartPops' code ran the 2.0 build. Since we began tracking it in March 2026, 173 domains have dropped it on at least one hostname.

List of Companies Using CartPops

Who uses CartPops? Our list of companies using CartPops names 50 of the 574 companies we matched. Each row loaded CartPops' cart code when we checked it, and we opened 47 of the 50 in a browser in October 2026 to confirm it. Many are B2B sellers with a shop attached to the company site, such as Nash Distribution, Macromatic and Lakeside Surfaces, rather than consumer brands. Seymour Duncan's main site runs it, and 10 more Seymour Duncan domains redirect there.

CartPops Market Share Among Cart & Checkout

What is CartPops's market share? 1.36% of Cart & Checkout, 14th of the 33 tools we track there, based on our live crawl at TechnologyChecker.io. The share isn't like for like. CartPops is the category's WooCommerce side cart, while the tools above it are mostly Shopify apps selling to a different set of stores. Code Black Belt leads its table with 16,455 domains (21.42%), a cleaned figure: its page removed stores whose theme still carries only retired script addresses.

CartPops Customers by Company Size & Age

What size companies use CartPops? Very small ones. 76.6% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 17.41% have 11 to 50. That's smaller than WooCommerce's own profile (66.68% at 1 to 10) or Divi's (70.88%). Only eight companies have more than 200 staff, among them Chesterfield FC and Reef Bread in the UAE.

Company Size Distribution

Company Age (Founded Decade)

The largest group of matched companies was founded in the 2010s (38.57%), and 21.79% date from the 2020s. The tail is old, though: 14 were founded in the 1970s and 13 before 1960. The older ones are the names people know, such as Chesterfield FC (1866), Norma Precision (1902), Medidenta (1944) and Miscela d'Oro (1946).

What Industries Use CartPops the Most?

Retail leads at 11.97%, and nothing else reaches 3.1%: manufacturing is 3.04%, and food and beverage manufacturing and wellness and fitness services are 2.84% each, based on our enriched company data. That spread is what a general-purpose cart add-on looks like. These stores sell guitar pickups, rifles, safes, ice machines, relays and wine, so the buyer is whoever owns the shop, in almost any trade.

Sports clubs on CartPops include Chesterfield FC, whose club superstore runs on the DiviCommerce child theme. Healthcare suppliers using CartPops include the dental distributor Medidenta and Dalton Medical, a Dutch seller of medical and aesthetic lasers.

CartPops Alternatives & Competitors

The table beside CartPops holds three Shopify app makers and a cart-recovery service, none of them a WooCommerce side cart. CartBot (8,297 domains, 10.8%) adds gift-with-purchase items to Shopify carts. AOV.ai (6,351, 8.27%) sells an upsell suite whose own cart drawer loads on 1,275 domains, per its page. CartStack (1,470, 1.91%) is a cleaned figure: its page removed a Brazilian edition now sold as a separate product. CartPops' real rivals are WooCommerce plugins outside this table, such as Side Cart WooCommerce by XootiX, FunnelKit's Sliding Cart and Caddy.

Expert Analysis: CartPops Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

Elif Arslan
Elif ArslanCMO & Co-founder, TechnologyChecker

I opened CartPops in our October 2026 crawl expecting a WooCommerce footnote in a category built around Shopify apps. It's narrower than that, and more useful to anyone selling to these stores. In practice, most CartPops stores are Divi stores. A domain counts here when its pages set up CartPops' cart drawer in the browser, through the drawer object or the settings block the plugin prints wherever the side cart is switched on. That gives 1,045 live domains, 574 of them matched to a company, 14th of 33 in Cart & Checkout. WooCommerce runs on 99.9% of them.

What a full fetch shows

On 14 October I fetched the homepage of all 1,014 domains behind our company and stack figures. 866 served a page with CartPops' code on it. 49 sat behind a bot wall, 14 timed out, seven returned an empty page or a certificate error, and 50 answered without CartPops on the homepage, which the plugin's page exclusions allow. 28 are closed or dead (2.76%): 12 no longer resolve, seven show a coming-soon, maintenance or default page, two are suspended hosting accounts, six return a server error or a broken WordPress install, and one now serves a gambling page. Redirects and identical titles fold the 1,014 into about 960 stores. Seymour Duncan alone has 11 domains.

Sales signal: treat this as a list of about 860 working stores, and dedupe by redirect target before you count accounts.

Mostly on Divi

Divi runs on 56.8% of CartPops domains. Across all live WooCommerce domains in our crawl it runs on 6.27% (95,579 of the 1,525,523 WooCommerce domains in this crawl snapshot), so a CartPops store is about nine times as likely to be built on Divi. Part of that is packaging. Two Divi child themes run CartPops in their demo stores: Molti Ecommerce from Divi Supply, formerly SamarJ, and Mark Hendriksen's DiviCommerce. Their theme folders appear on 127 and 121 of the 866 homepages with CartPops' code, 28.6% between them. Christensen Arms, Lakeside Surfaces and Anderson Lock & Safe run Molti. Chesterfield FC's superstore and Bitlogic, an Apple reseller in Quito, run DiviCommerce. Outside those two themes Divi is still on 230 of 618 homepages (37.2%).

"More than a quarter of CartPops' working stores were built on a Divi child theme whose demo store already ran it. For this plugin, the theme seller is part of the sales channel." - Elif Arslan, CMO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io

Sales signal: child-theme sellers and the agencies that use them pick the cart. Mark Hendriksen now sells his own drawer cart, DrawerCart, so the 121 DiviCommerce stores are where a switch would show up first.

A flat line, and a new version

The chart reads 821 in June, 983 in July, 1,006 in August, 1,030 in September and 1,045 in October. I wouldn't call that growth. The domains we crawl turn over every month as dead sites drop out and new ones arrive, and our detection widened over the summer, which accounts for the June to July step. CartPops 2.0, rebuilt on WooCommerce's Store API, came out on 2 October 2026, and 271 of the 866 homepages ran the 2.0 build twelve days later. Version 2 drops the old settings block but keeps the drawer object as a deprecated bridge for version 1 theme code, and the plugin's own code says that bridge will go in a future release.

173 domains have dropped CartPops on at least one hostname since we began tracking it on 16 March 2026. When I re-checked on 14 October, 18 domains with a dropped hostname still ran it on another one. Of those that had dropped it everywhere, 78 still ran WooCommerce.

"CartPops 2.0 reached about three in ten of these stores within two weeks of release." - Elif Arslan, CMO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io

Sales signal: the upgrade is a decision point for every store still on version 1, about two thirds of the list, and some will use it to compare carts. If a future release removes the old drawer object, our count will need a new signal, and a drop at that point won't mean stores left.

Small shops, some old names

76.6% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees, against 66.68% on WooCommerce's own profile and 70.88% on Divi's. Only eight have more than 200 staff. Ages vary more: 38.57% were founded in the 2010s and 21.79% in the 2020s, but 14 date from the 1970s and 13 from before 1960. The older companies carry the recognisable names, such as Chesterfield FC (1866), Norma Precision (1902), Medidenta (1944), Miscela d'Oro (1946) and Seymour Duncan (1976), and most of them sell direct from a company site.

Sales signal: the typical buyer is an owner-run shop that paid an agency or bought a theme. Reach it through the builder, or sell the owner something they can switch on without a developer.

A Dutch tilt

The United States leads with 99 matched companies, and the Netherlands is close behind with 78, ahead of France (51), the United Kingdom (45) and Spain (32). WooCommerce's own profile has about one Dutch company for every four American ones (36,929 to 157,588), and Divi's about one for every six. Add Belgium's 16 and the Low Countries reach 94. CartPops' site doesn't say where the company is based, and I won't guess at it.

Sales signal: for a Benelux agency or a WooCommerce add-on with Dutch support, this list is unusually well qualified.

What they sell and what else they run

Retail is the largest industry at 11.97%, and nothing else passes 3.1%. The shops sell guitar pickups, rifles, safes, ice machines, relays and wine. On the 1,014 clean live domains behind our stack figures, Elementor is on 23.67% and Google Analytics on 69.63%. Email tools are thin: Mailchimp is on 8.58%, Klaviyo on 5.23% and Brevo on 3.45%. CookieYes (12.52%) and Complianz (11.54%) both beat every email platform.

Sales signal: fewer than one store in ten shows Mailchimp, and about one in twenty Klaviyo. An email or abandoned-cart tool built for WooCommerce has room here.

Pricing and the real rivals

The core plugin is free on WordPress.org, listed since January 2021, with 4,000+ active installs. Pro adds the rewards meter, Bundle Builder, Smart Bar, Smart Add-ons and conversion analytics for $49 a year on one site, up to $299 for 100, or $199 to $999 for a lifetime licence, per its pricing page (checked 14 October 2026). Its real rivals are other WooCommerce side carts, not Shopify apps such as CartBot. On WordPress.org, Side Cart WooCommerce by XootiX reports 70,000+ active installs, FunnelKit's Sliding Cart 30,000+ and Caddy 3,000+.

Sales signal: by installs CartPops is under a tenth of XootiX's free plugin. Its paid features are upsell tools, so it competes with other ways of raising order value as much as with other drawers.
