Companies Using Site Search 360
Our October 2026 crawl finds Site Search 360 on 4,869 domains, and most of those sites never picked it from a shortlist. At least 1,885 of the 4,859 domains live in our crawl are Firespring sites, whose Springboard platform includes a Site Search 360 tier with every website. Another 1,062 are Duda sites that added it from Duda's App Store. Together that's about 61%, and each site has its own Site Search 360 project, so the search boxes are real. Below is the list of companies that use Site Search 360, with size, country, industry and stack. Organisations that run their own integration include HOK, Saipem, Summa Health and Aston University.
Site Search 360 is a hosted site search service from Dresden, now run by Zoovu (Germany), formerly SEMKNOX. It ranks 6th of the 58 tools we track in Site Search, with 2.89% of the category. The two builders shape its customer base. Non-profit Organizations (10.62%) and Printing Services (10.03%) are the top industries, 2,668 of the 3,697 matched companies are American, and only 3.53% were founded in the 2020s.

Site Search 360 reads 4,427 domains in June 2026, 4,639 in July, 4,725 in August, 4,853 in September and 4,869 in October. Part of that rise is on our side. Which Countries Use Site Search 360 the Most?
Which countries use Site Search 360 the most? The United States, with 2,668 of the 3,697 matched companies, more than twice the rest of the world combined. Canada (152), the United Kingdom (135), Italy (112) and Germany (102) follow. That's a thin showing at home for a Dresden vendor, and the builders explain it: Firespring is based in Lincoln, Nebraska, and builds websites for nonprofits and print shops. Italy's 112 matches the Italian builders Italiaonline and PagineGialle in the stack.
Share of the 3,697 Site Search 360 domains we matched to a company record — 75.9% of the 4,869 we detect. Top 15 countries shown, so these do not sum to 100%. Domains with no matching company record are not represented here and skew small and independent.

Site Search 360 Alternatives & Competitors
Site Search 360's real rivals are in this table. Algolia (22.92%) is the big one, but it's an API that developers build search on. Our crawl shows no sites switching between any of them since March 2026, so there's no flow to report.

Expert Analysis: Site Search 360 Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

I expected Site Search 360 to look like a German SaaS with a scattering of American customers. Our October 2026 crawl says otherwise. It's on 4,869 domains, 6th of 58 in Site Search, with 3,697 matched to a company, and 2,668 of those companies are American. A domain counts when a page we crawl defines the ss360Config object or loads a script from sitesearch360.com. I opened 60 random live domains to see what that catches. 54 loaded Site Search 360. Of those 54, 27 were Firespring websites and 7 were Duda sites using the Site Search 360 widget.
Three ways in
The biggest route is Firespring, a Lincoln, Nebraska company that builds websites for nonprofits and print shops. Its knowledge base says Site Search 360 is integrated with the Springboard, its website platform, and that Tier 1 is included with every Springboard website. Firespring's scripts load on at least 1,885 of the 4,859 domains live in our crawl. The second route is Duda: Site Search 360 has been in Duda's App Store since November 2020, and 1,062 domains are Duda sites. Between them that's about 61%. Everything else is a direct integration through a JavaScript snippet, the WordPress plugin or an Italian builder.
None of this is one account spread across many sites. Each Firespring site I sampled uses its own domain, or its own Firespring host name, as its Site Search 360 project id, and the Duda widget builds a project id from each Duda site's own id. Where a project number shows in the script address, the largest covers 18 domains, almost all of them brands of Cowan Insurance Group in Canada.
Sales signal: for most of this list, the decision sat with Firespring or Duda, not the site owner. A rival search vendor's way in is the platform partnership. Direct sales only make sense for the roughly two in five sites that integrated it themselves.
A steady line
The chart reads 4,427 domains in June, 4,639 in July and 4,869 in October. Some of that is on our side: the set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with dead sites dropping out and new ones added, and our detection widens over time. Churn is low. Since we started tracking it on 16 March 2026, 395 domains have dropped it on at least one hostname, and 89 of those still run it on another.
"Most Site Search 360 sites never compared search vendors. Their website platform made the choice, and the base tier came with the site." - David Thomson, CTO at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: 395 leavers against 4,869 live domains is a quiet base. Bundled customers mostly leave when they leave their website platform, so expect this one to move slowly.
Who the customers are
50.24% of matched companies have 1 to 10 employees and 28.66% have 11 to 50. Age is the unusual part. The decades split almost evenly, with 16.38% founded before 1960 and only 3.53% in the 2020s, against 14.31% on FiboSearch's profile and 21.99% on Jetboost's. The 85 companies above 1,000 staff mostly run their own integration: Saipem, Summa Health, Fortune Brands Innovations, Titan International, Walker & Dunlop and Egnyte. HOK's site also appears in Site Search 360's own customer gallery.
Sales signal: the direct, larger accounts are content-heavy organisations (hospitals, universities, engineering firms, councils). The buyer is the web or digital team that owns the main site.
Nonprofits, printers and Americans
The industry chart is Firespring's customer list. Non-profit Organizations (10.62%) and Printing Services (10.03%) lead, and the charity and civic cluster reaches 21.33% once family services, nonprofit management, civic groups and religious institutions are added. Hospitals and Health Care is next at 3.75%. The United States has 2,668 matched companies, Canada 152, the United Kingdom 135, Italy 112 and Germany, the vendor's home, only 102. Italy's showing lines up with Italiaonline (2.29%) and PagineGialle (1.67%) in the stack.
Sales signal: anyone selling to American nonprofits or commercial printers will find a dense, pre-qualified list here. These organisations already run a managed website and a search box; donation, events and web-to-print tools are the adjacent pitch.
No switching to report
Our crawl shows no switching rows between Site Search 360 and Algolia, Swiftype, Cludo or AddSearch since March 2026, so the migration section stays empty. That fits the bundling story. A Firespring client who wanted different search would have to replace the platform's built-in tier. The one large cluster outside the builders is a single customer: 119 domains carry Truly Nolen's pest control homepage, its location and marketing domains. The two we sampled both use trulynolen.com's own project.
"There's no switching flow to read here. On a bundled product, the churn that matters happens when a site leaves its website platform." - David Thomson, CTO at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: watch the platforms, not the product. A Firespring or Duda client moving to WordPress loses Site Search 360 and needs search again.
The stack around it
Google Tag Manager runs on 87.39% of the 4,854 live domains and Google Analytics on 86.05%; Snowplow is on 19.45%. Duda builds 21.88% and WordPress 9.31%. Cloudflare sits in front of 20.91%. Consent tools are thin for a vendor from Germany: Cookie Control 6.0%, Cookiebot 5.5%, OneTrust 2.64%, CookieYes 2.62%. That fits a base that is mostly American.
Sales signal: consent and accessibility vendors have room here. Few of these nonprofit and printer sites run a consent manager, and Firespring publishes accessibility reviews of the components it ships.
What it costs
Site Search 360's pricing page (checked 14 October 2026) lists a Free plan with 150 indexed entries and 1,000 searches a month, then Columbo at $9 a month, Holmes at $49 and Batman at $119, with Holmes Pro ($89) and Batman Pro ($374) above them. Those prices are for JavaScript and API integrations. Its Duda docs list Columbo at $5 and Holmes at $30 inside Duda, and Firespring gives Tier 1 away with the website.
Sales signal: price isn't a lever here; most of these sites pay little or nothing for search. A competitor has to win on the platform deal.
Key takeaways
1. 4,869 domains, 6th of 58 in Site Search, ahead of Swiftype, Cludo and AddSearch.
2. About 61% arrive through Firespring (1,885) and Duda (1,062), each site with its own project.
3. An American, nonprofit and printer base, older than most buyers of web software.
4. No switching, and low churn: 395 domains dropped it since March.
How to use this list
Split the list by builder first: Firespring and Duda sites are platform customers, the rest are direct buyers. For the full list of 4,869 Site Search 360 domains with company, size and stack data, explore TechnologyChecker.io.
