Companies Using Luigi's Box

I pulled Luigi's Box out of our October 2026 crawl to see who buys a Slovak search product, and the answer is mostly its neighbours. A domain counts when a page loads Luigi's Box's script from luigisbox.tech or luigisbox.com, or creates its JavaScript objects. That gives 2,925 live domains, 1,004 matched to a company, 11th of 58 in Site Search. The test holds up. Of 40 counted domains I opened at random, 34 loaded, and 31 of those loaded Luigi's Box; on nine, typing into the search box sent the query to Luigi's Box's servers. Of the 50 companies listed on this page, 40 showed it and 10 blocked automated visits. I replaced one row: SIG's Polish business, which was matched to its British parent.

A Central European base

Czechia has 365 matched companies, Poland 147 and Slovakia 137. Germany (58) and the United Kingdom (57) follow, and the United States has 26. Czechia and Slovakia hold exactly half of the 1,004 matched companies. The stack says the same thing: Heureka's widget, from the Czech price-comparison site, is on 19.21% of clean live domains, and Shoptet, the Czech hosted shop platform, on 21.55%. Many of the retailers sell across the region with a domain per country: Muziker, Top4Sport and Astratex each run a dozen or more.

Sales signal: treat this as a Czech, Slovak and Polish list first. Anyone selling to Central European e-commerce (payments, logistics, feeds, marketplaces) will find a ready-made account list here, and for a company entering those markets the named customers double as references.

The platform channel cuts both ways

Luigi's Box lists Shoptet among its integrations, and a fifth of the base runs on it. Another platform shows the risk of that channel. In September about 189 shops built on CREATIVE sites, a Slovak e-shop platform, loaded Luigi's Box through one shared integration script. Their search box is now labelled "Search by CREATIVE sites". When I fetched them in mid-October, 155 no longer loaded it and 33 still did. Our records saw that script for the last time on 2 October. That looks like one platform decision rather than 155 shop owners, and most of those domains stay in our count until we next crawl them.

Sales signal: for Luigi's Box's competitors, the CREATIVE sites shops are a live opportunity this quarter. For Luigi's Box, Shoptet is the channel to protect: it carries 647 of the clean live domains.

Banks and telcos search too

40.54% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 30.59% have 11 to 50, close to ElasticSuite's 41.65% at the smallest band. The large end includes companies that aren't shops. The 33 companies above 1,000 staff include Komerční banka, ČEZ, O2 Czech Republic, Slovak Telekom and KiK, and further down the list are Poštová banka, the health insurer Dôvera, ČEZ's distribution arm and A1 Slovenia. They use Luigi's Box to search their own websites. The ages fit the geography. 36.72% were founded in the 2010s and only 11.41% before 1990.

Sales signal: the corporate-site users buy search for service content, not products. Pitch them on findability and self-service deflection, and expect a digital or customer-experience team as the buyer rather than an e-commerce manager.

Counting accounts as well as domains

Luigi's Box puts a site ID in its script address, so we can count accounts. In the 2,241 domains where we could read it, we found 1,845 site IDs, about 1.2 domains each, and 1,626 IDs sit on a single domain. The biggest is Top4Sport's, on 25 country domains, under 1% of the count. No agency or platform runs hundreds of shops under one ID; CREATIVE sites used its own shared script instead.

Sales signal: dedupe by site ID or root brand before you count prospects. A country-domain retailer is one buyer with 10 to 25 rows.

Doofinder is the rival it meets

Doofinder sells a similar hosted product from Madrid and has 13,758 domains, but its matched companies sit mainly in Germany, France, Spain and the United States. The two rarely share a shop: 22 domains run both today, out of 40 that ever did, too few for our switching tests to publish a direction. Klevu shares no domains with Luigi's Box today and only 3 ever. On Magento stores it sometimes sits on top of ElasticSuite, which 52 of its domains also run.

Sales signal: a vendor expanding east from Western Europe will meet Luigi's Box in Czech and Slovak deals and Doofinder in Spanish and French ones. Few merchants have run both, so switching stories are scarce on either side.

The stack around it

Google Analytics runs on 91.31% of clean live domains and Cloudflare on 42.06%. Consent is split between Cookiebot (12.89%), Cookie Control (12.79%) and Cookie Script (8.42%). Exponea is on 5.13% and Smartlook on 3.26%. Klaviyo (6.16%) leads email, ahead of SparkPost (5.39%) and Mailchimp (4.9%).

Sales signal: these shops buy specialist tools, many of them regional. Integration partners for Shoptet and Heureka have an easier first conversation than global suites.

What it costs

Luigi's Box doesn't publish prices. Its pricing page (October 2026) asks for details and returns a quote, says pricing scales with usage rather than domain count, and says every plan has the full feature set, the plans differing in how much integration work its team does. The Shopify app has a free plan, but Shopify is on only 3.83% of the base.
