Companies Using iHomefinder IDX
Our October 2026 crawl finds iHomefinder IDX on 4,816 live domains, and almost every one belongs to a real estate agent, team or brokerage. IDX is how those sites show MLS listings: a buyer searches homes for sale on the agent's own website, and iHomefinder supplies the search, the listing pages and the sign-up forms behind them. Below is the list of companies that use iHomefinder IDX, with size, country, industry and stack. It includes Downing-Frye Realty in Naples, Florida, McGrew Real Estate in Lawrence, Kansas, and the Seattle brokerage Ewing & Clark.
Our catalog files it under Site Search, where it ranks 7th of 58 with 2.86%. That label fits loosely. iHomefinder doesn't search a site's own pages the way Algolia does; it searches property listings. The buyers don't look like a search-tool market either. 72.56% of matched companies have 1 to 10 employees, 2,542 of the 2,643 with a known country are American, and WordPress runs on 87.29% of the sites.

iHomefinder IDX Usage Statistics
iHomefinder IDX reads 3,666 domains in June 2026, 4,432 in July, 4,500 in August, 4,651 in September and 4,816 in October. Most of the June to July step is on our side. The set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with dead sites dropping out and newly found ones added, and our detection widened over the summer, so we don't read the line as a wave of new brokerages. Exits we can count: 667 domains dropped iHomefinder on at least one hostname since we began tracking it on 16 March 2026, and 136 of those still run it on another hostname.

Which Countries Use iHomefinder IDX the Most?
Which countries use iHomefinder IDX the most? The United States, with 2,542 matched companies, which is 96.18% of the 2,643 with a known country. Canada has 62, Mexico 14, Puerto Rico 10 and the Bahamas 3, and no other country has more than 2. That map follows the MLS feeds: iHomefinder's pricing page says it covers more than 95% of MLSs in the United States and Canada, and IDX search only works where a feed exists.
Share of the 2,688 iHomefinder IDX domains we matched to a company record — 55.8% of the 4,816 we detect. Top 15 countries shown, so these do not sum to 100%. Domains with no matching company record are not represented here and skew small and independent.
iHomefinder IDX Market Share Among Site Search
What is iHomefinder IDX's market share? 2.86% of Site Search, 7th of the 58 technologies we track there, based on our crawl at TechnologyChecker.io. The rank compares unlike products. Algolia (38,582 domains) and Site Search 360 (4,869) search a website's own content, while iHomefinder searches MLS listings. It sits 53 domains behind Site Search 360 and 1,336 ahead of Jetboost (3,480), so read the share as a size marker, not a contest with those tools.
Top Competitors by Market Share
iHomefinder IDX Customers by Company Size & Age
What size companies use iHomefinder IDX? Very small ones. 72.56% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 24.17% have 11 to 50, so 96.73% have 50 or fewer. That's a solo agent, a team or a single office. Only 20 have more than 200 staff, and they're regional brokerages such as Downing-Frye Realty in southwest Florida, listed at 501 to 1,000 on LinkedIn, probably because its agents name the brokerage on their own profiles.
Company Size Distribution
Company Age (Founded Decade)
The largest group of matched companies was founded in the 2010s (38.76%), then the 2000s (26.94%) and the 2020s (11.19%). Only 13.57% date from before 1990, adding the 1980s (5.8%), 1970s (4.25%), 1960s (1.24%) and earlier (2.28%). Brokerages change names and franchise flags often, so a LinkedIn founding year can be the current brand's. The oldest names on our list include Ewing & Clark (1900, per its LinkedIn record) and McGrew Real Estate (1951).
What Industries Use iHomefinder IDX the Most?
Real Estate covers 90% of matched companies with an industry, and Real Estate Agents and Brokers another 2.73%, so 92.73% sit in the one trade iHomefinder is built for, based on our enriched company data. The next rows, Construction (0.99%), Advertising Services (0.52%) and Insurance (0.42%), are each under 1%. A seller doesn't need to segment this list by vertical; segment it by market and office size instead.
Independent brokerages using iHomefinder IDX make up most of our named list, among them The Realty Association in Nashville, Westcoe Realtors in Riverside, California, and Stephens Real Estate in Lawrence, Kansas. Franchise offices on iHomefinder run it on their own sites too: CENTURY 21 Advantage Gold, Weichert Realtors Saxon Clark and Nick Sadek Sotheby's International Realty each loaded it when we checked. Cloud brokerages using iHomefinder IDX include VORO.
iHomefinder IDX Alternatives & Competitors
This table sets iHomefinder beside tools that search a website's own pages: Algolia (38,582 domains), Site Search 360 (4,869), Jetboost (3,480) and Luigi's Box (2,925). None of them shows MLS listings. iHomefinder's real rivals are other IDX vendors, which our catalog files elsewhere. Our crawl finds IDX Broker on 3,018 live domains and Showcase IDX on 388, and only 16 domains run IDX Broker and iHomefinder together, so agents pick one feed.

Expert Analysis: iHomefinder IDX Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

I pulled iHomefinder IDX from our October 2026 crawl because it looked out of place. It ranks 7th of 58 in our Site Search table, 53 domains behind Site Search 360, yet nobody installs it to search their own blog posts. A domain counts here when a page loads a script from idxhome.com or sets iHomefinder's ihfJquery variable. That gives 4,816 live domains, 2,688 matched to a company, and a market of real estate offices that happens to sit in a search category.
Two versions on one host
iHomefinder serves two generations of its IDX from the same domain. The older one loads from www.idxhome.com. The newer one, Kestrel, loads from kestrel.idxhome.com, and iHomefinder's Partner API documentation has a setting for it: off, Kestrel on listing detail pages only, or Kestrel everywhere. On the 3,796 domains where we logged which host the script came from, 2,553 load Kestrel. 646 of them load nothing else, 1,907 load both hosts, and 1,237 still run the older script alone.
Sales signal: the 1,237 older installs are offices that haven't moved yet. For a web designer or an IDX rival, that's the group most likely to be rethinking its site, because a platform migration is when an agent reopens the listing-feed question.
Reading the chart
The usage chart reads 3,666 in June, 4,432 in July and 4,816 in October. I wouldn't sell that as growth. The set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with dead sites dropping out and new ones found, and our detection widened over the summer, so most of the June to July step is on our side. Exits are clearer. 667 domains dropped iHomefinder on at least one hostname since we began tracking it on 16 March 2026, and 136 of those still run it on another hostname, which leaves about 531 that left it entirely in seven months.
"Our catalog calls iHomefinder a site search tool. Its matched customers include 2,542 American companies, nearly all real estate offices that want MLS listings on their own websites." - Elif Arslan, CMO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: treat this as a stable base of about 4,800 sites rather than a fast-growing one. The movement worth tracking is the 531 leavers, since an agent who drops IDX search usually rebuilt the site or changed brokerage.
Who the customers are
72.56% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 24.17% have 11 to 50. Only 20 list more than 200 staff. The largest group was founded in the 2010s (38.76%), with 26.94% from the 2000s. The names on our list are local offices: Downing-Frye Realty in Naples, McGrew Real Estate in Lawrence, Kansas, Ewing & Clark in Seattle, The Realty Association in Nashville. Franchise offices run it under their own domains, as CENTURY 21 Advantage Gold and Weichert Realtors Saxon Clark do, so the buyer is the office, not the franchisor.
Sales signal: sell to the broker-owner. In an office of ten or fewer, the person who signed the IDX contract also signs for the website, the CRM and the ads.
One country, one industry
2,542 of the 2,643 matched companies with a known country are American, 96.18%. Canada adds 62, Mexico 14 and Puerto Rico 10. Industry is as narrow: Real Estate is 90% and Real Estate Agents and Brokers 2.73%, so 92.73% sit in one trade. iHomefinder's pricing page says it covers more than 95% of MLSs in the United States and Canada, and the map follows those feeds.
Sales signal: you can't segment this list by vertical, because there's only one. Segment by MLS market and office size, and treat Canada's 62 companies as a separate, small campaign.
Leaving and switching
We found no rival that sites moved to or from in numbers worth reporting. The overlap tells the same story. Our crawl finds IDX Broker on 3,018 live domains and Showcase IDX on 388, and only 16 domains run IDX Broker and iHomefinder together. Agents don't layer listing feeds; they run one, and it changes when the whole website changes.
"Only 16 domains run IDX Broker and iHomefinder together. An agent picks one listing feed and keeps it until the website changes." - Elif Arslan, CMO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: for a rival IDX vendor, the opening is the website rebuild, not a feature comparison. Watch for the hosting and builder changes in the stack below.
The stack around it
Across the 4,879 live domains in our stack analysis, WordPress runs on 87.29%. Elementor is on 12.5% and Divi on 10.64%, and iHomefinder's Optima Express plugin is how a WordPress site connects to its IDX. GoDaddy hosts 35.54%, Flywheel 8.22% and WP Engine 6.03%. Agent Image, a real estate web design firm, appears on 5.37%, and its hosting accounts for 18 domains that returned errors when we crawled them. Google Analytics is on 63.41%, while outside CRMs barely register: HighLevel is on 1.35% and Zoho on 0.61%.
Sales signal: these are self-managed WordPress sites on shared hosting. Managed WordPress hosts, real estate web designers and SEO agencies will find the clearest fit here. A CRM vendor will struggle, because iHomefinder already sells one in the same plan.
What it costs
iHomefinder doesn't list plan prices. Its pricing page (checked 14 October 2026) describes Lead Essentials (one agent, one MLS, up to 1,000 leads), Lead Maximizer (up to seven agents, up to 5,000 leads) and Growth Pro (ten agents and unlimited MLSs), and asks for a 10-minute call to quote. The add-ons are priced: a hosted website on Lead Essentials is $50 a month plus $500 setup, a second agent $30 a month and an extra MLS from $25 a month.
Sales signal: quote-based pricing means each office negotiated its own deal. Renewal dates, not list prices, decide when an account can move.
Key takeaways
1. 4,816 live domains, 7th of 58 in Site Search, but the product is MLS listing search.
2. 2,553 of 3,796 domains with a logged host load the newer Kestrel platform; 1,237 run the older script alone.
3. 72.56% of matched companies have 1 to 10 staff, and 96.18% of those with a country are American.
4. About 531 domains left it entirely since March 2026, and only 16 run IDX Broker beside it.
5. A WordPress base (87.29%) with GoDaddy hosting on 35.54%.
How to use this list

Frequently Asked Questions
Who uses iHomefinder IDX?
Real estate agents, teams and brokerages, almost all of them American. Our October 2026 crawl finds iHomefinder IDX on 4,816 live domains. 92.73% of matched companies sit in LinkedIn's two real estate industries, and 72.56% have 10 or fewer staff. Named users include Downing-Frye Realty, VORO, McGrew Real Estate, Ewing & Clark, CENTURY 21 Advantage Gold and Weichert Realtors Saxon Clark.
How many customers does iHomefinder IDX have?
Our October 2026 crawl finds it live on 4,816 domains, and 2,688 of them match a company. Treat those as websites, not accounts: some brokerages run it on many domains, and Elite International Realty's title appears on 23. Since we began tracking it on 16 March 2026, 667 domains dropped it on at least one hostname, and 136 of those still run it elsewhere.
What is iHomefinder IDX's market share?
2.86% of Site Search, 7th of the 58 technologies we track there. That share needs a caveat. The other tools in the category, such as Algolia (38,582 domains) and Site Search 360 (4,869), search a website's own pages, while iHomefinder searches MLS property listings. Against its real rivals, IDX vendors, its 4,816 domains compare with 3,018 for IDX Broker.
What are the best alternatives to iHomefinder IDX?
Other IDX providers. IDX Broker sells the same kind of IDX add-on for agent websites, and our crawl finds it on 3,018 live domains; Showcase IDX is on 388. Real estate website platforms such as Real Geeks, Lofty, Sierra Interactive and Luxury Presence sell sites with IDX built in. Only 16 domains run IDX Broker and iHomefinder together.
Which countries use iHomefinder IDX the most?
The United States, by a wide margin: 2,542 of the 2,643 matched companies with a known country, or 96.18%. Canada follows with 62, then Mexico (14), Puerto Rico (10) and the Bahamas (3). That tracks MLS coverage, since IDX needs a listing feed and iHomefinder says it covers more than 95% of MLSs in the US and Canada.
What size companies use iHomefinder IDX?
Small offices. 72.56% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 24.17% have 11 to 50, so 96.73% have 50 or fewer. Only 20 list more than 200 staff, and those are regional brokerages such as Downing-Frye Realty, where LinkedIn headcount likely includes agents who name the firm. The typical buyer is a solo agent, a team or an independent office.
How old are companies that use iHomefinder IDX?
Among matched companies with a known founding year, the largest group dates from the 2010s (38.76%), then the 2000s (26.94%) and the 2020s (11.19%). Only 13.57% were founded before 1990. The oldest on our list include Ewing & Clark (1900, per LinkedIn) and McGrew Real Estate (1951). Brokerages rebrand often, so some founding years belong to the current name.

What is iHomefinder and what does it do?
iHomefinder sells IDX property search and lead tools to real estate agents in the US and Canada. It puts MLS listings on the agent's own website, captures sign-ups, sends listing alerts and runs a CRM behind them. Its pricing page says the IDX is native, not an iframe or subdomain. In our crawl 87.29% of iHomefinder sites run WordPress.
How much does iHomefinder cost?
iHomefinder doesn't publish plan prices. Its pricing page lists three plans, Lead Essentials, Lead Maximizer and Growth Pro, and asks for a 10-minute call to quote. It does price the add-ons: a hosted website on Lead Essentials costs $50 a month plus $500 setup, a second agent $30 a month and an extra MLS from $25 a month. Checked 14 October 2026.
Is iHomefinder a CRM?
Yes, alongside the IDX. Every iHomefinder plan bundles a CRM with lead routing, automated email and text campaigns and a mobile app. Lead Essentials holds up to 1,000 leads and Lead Maximizer up to 5,000. Our crawl suggests most customers use the built-in CRM: HighLevel, the most common outside CRM we see beside it, is on only 1.35% of iHomefinder domains.
Is iHomefinder good?
We can't rate the software, but we can show how sticky it is. Our crawl finds it on 4,816 live domains. Since 16 March 2026, 667 dropped it on at least one hostname and 136 of those still run it elsewhere, so about 531 left it entirely in seven months. It also stays put once chosen: only 16 domains run IDX Broker beside it.
What is iHomefinder Kestrel?
Kestrel is iHomefinder's newer IDX platform, loaded from kestrel.idxhome.com. Its Partner API documentation lets an account run Kestrel on listing detail pages only or everywhere. Of the 3,796 iHomefinder domains where we logged the script host, 2,553 load Kestrel, 646 of them without the older www.idxhome.com script, while 1,237 still run the older script alone.
Does iHomefinder work with WordPress?
Yes, and most customers use it that way. iHomefinder's Optima Express plugin adds its IDX search and control panel to a WordPress site, and the company also lists Wix and custom sites as supported platforms. In our crawl WordPress runs on 87.29% of iHomefinder domains, Elementor on 12.5% and Divi on 10.64%, while Squarespace accounts for 3.01%.
iHomefinder vs IDX Broker: which is more widely used?
By our count, iHomefinder. Our October 2026 crawl finds iHomefinder IDX on 4,816 live domains and IDX Broker on 3,018, and only 16 domains run both, so agents choose one feed rather than layering them. Both sell IDX search for an agent's own website. iHomefinder bundles a CRM and marketing automation into its plans, which matters more than reach for most offices.
