Companies Using Shiprocket

I pulled Shiprocket out of our October 2026 crawl expecting a shipping widget. What I found is a tracker. A domain counts here when a page loads a script from sr-cdn.shiprocket.in, and on nearly every store that script is uc.js, Shiprocket's shopper-tracking tag. I opened 10 stores in a browser, and where it loaded, it drew nothing. It fingerprints the browser, keeps a shopper ID in a hidden frame and posts page views, add-to-carts and orders back to Shiprocket. That gives 13,650 domains, 5,075 matched to a company, 12th in Shipping, Fulfillment & Returns.

Two ways onto a store

The tag arrives by two routes, and they mean different things. Most stores add it themselves, with the merchant's Shiprocket account number written into the script address. In a random sample of 290 stores we fetched, 201 carried that account-linked tag and 3 more loaded Shiprocket's Promise app script. The other route is Fastrr, Shiprocket's checkout, which loads the same tag itself. 76 of the 290 had it only through Fastrr. So roughly seven in ten domains here hold a Shiprocket account you can see on the page, and about a quarter are Fastrr checkout stores counted again. The account numbers are spread thin, too: the most-shared one in our script records covers 6 domains, so no agency or platform is inflating the count.

Sales signal: treat a store with the account-linked tag as a Shiprocket shipping customer, and check the Fastrr-only ones separately. They chose Shiprocket's checkout, not necessarily its couriers.

Three readings, not a trend

The chart reads 9,768 in August, 12,965 in September and 13,650 in October. Our crawl only began covering this script on 4 August 2026, the domain set turns over every month as dead stores leave and new ones are found, and our detection widened over those weeks, so the climb says more about coverage than about sales. Churn is easier to read. 2,663 domains dropped the script on at least one hostname since August, and 515 of those still load it on another. Closed and broken Shopify stores are a small slice: 215 domains in our clean recount carry titles such as "Store unavailable" or "Something went wrong", about 1.6%.

Sales signal: there's no growth story to sell from three months of readings. Size the market at about 13,650 storefronts, and remember that about 2,150 domains (2,663 minus the 515) left it entirely since August.

Who the stores are

54.96% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 27.38% have 11 to 50. Almost half (49.19%) were founded in the 2020s. These are young D2C brands that ship their own orders. The enterprise tail is thin, 48 companies above 1,000 staff, but the names are well known in India: Relaxo Footwear, Orient Electric, Safari Bags, Pothys, Chaayos and Nivia's maker Freewill Sports. Shiprocket's own customer page claims more than 4 lakh brands, which includes sellers who never put its script on a website.

Sales signal: the buyer is a founder or a small ops team. Pitch time saved on courier booking, COD reconciliation and RTO, not a platform migration.

Indian, and mostly fashion

4,915 of the 5,005 matched companies with a country are Indian. Clothing leads: Retail Apparel and Fashion is 21.64% and Apparel & Fashion another 2.7%. Personal care (4.93%), jewellery (4.49%) and the two food labels (7.96% together) follow. The handful of foreign companies, 49 in the United States, are rounding error.

Sales signal: this is a list for Indian D2C vendors. Payment, WhatsApp and returns tools built for Indian fashion, personal care and food brands will find most of their market here.

Shiprocket, Fastrr and GoKwik on the same stores

Three overlaps matter. 4,284 Shiprocket domains also run Fastrr, about a third of our clean recount of 13,213, and most of that overlap is mechanical, because Fastrr loads the Shiprocket tag. 1,716 also load GoKwik, the rival checkout, and 1,349 of those don't run Fastrr at all. Those stores run GoKwik while still carrying Shiprocket's account-linked tag; Relaxo Footwear and Spykar, for example, use GoKwik's checkout. ParcelPanel runs on 108. None of this is switching. Our migration tests found no flow worth publishing.

Sales signal: GoKwik's sellers can target Shiprocket stores without Fastrr, and Shiprocket's team has 1,349 account holders running a rival's scripts, mostly its checkout if our GoKwik sample holds. Both lists come straight out of this overlap.

The stack around it

Shopify runs on 99.33% of the clean live domains. Instafeed is on 24.81%, Google Analytics on 76.7%, Razorpay on 8.99%. Messaging leans to WhatsApp: chat buttons are on 12.12%, against 4.52% for Klaviyo, with Interakt and Zoko each above 1.4%.

Sales signal: email tools are thin on these stores. A WhatsApp-first CRM or an email tool sold through WhatsApp has more room than one selling to stores that already run Klaviyo.

What it costs

Shiprocket's pricing page lists Lite free at an average of ₹45 a shipment, then Business at ₹199 a month, Advanced at ₹499 and Pro at ₹799, with lower average shipment costs and a plan-fee refund once you reach a monthly shipment target. Its history explains the Fastrr overlap: Shiprocket took an 80% stake in rival Pickrr in a $200 million deal in June 2022, as Inc42 reported, and Pickrr had just launched Fastrr.

Sales signal: low plan fees mean low switching costs. A rival aggregator wins these stores on courier rates and COD remittance speed, not on software.
