Companies Using Global-e
Our October 2026 crawl finds Global-e on 2,693 live domains, and they belong to far fewer brands, because a Global-e customer often runs one domain per country. Where the script address shows the account, 2,006 domains belong to 1,282 Global-e accounts; Vuori alone covers 19 domains, from vuoriclothing.co.uk to vuoriclothing.jp. Below is the list of companies that use Global-e, with size, country, industry and stack. It includes Mattel, FC Barcelona, L.L.Bean, PacSun, Boot Barn and Liberty London.
Global-e sells cross-border checkout: local currencies and payment methods, duties and taxes, often with Global-e acting as merchant of record for the international order. It is listed on Nasdaq and is the merchant of record behind Shopify's Managed Markets. It ranks 27th in Shipping, Fulfillment & Returns with 0.54% of the category, and its customers are bigger and older than those of the Shopify returns apps around it: 118 matched companies have more than 500 staff, against 36 on Loop Returns' profile.

After July the line is close to flat. Since we began tracking Global-e on 16 March 2026, 626 domains have dropped it on at least one hostname, and in a re-check 140 of them still ran it on another.

Which Countries Use Global-e the Most?
Which countries use Global-e the most? The United States, with 497 matched companies, then the United Kingdom (354), France (115), Australia (53), Italy (35) and Germany (31). European countries in the top 15 add up to 611 companies, more than the United States. That's the cross-border product at work: European fashion and luxury brands selling outside Europe. These counts cover the 1,305 Global-e domains we matched to a company.
Share of the 1,305 Global-e domains we matched to a company record — 48.5% of the 2,693 we detect. Top 15 countries shown, so these do not sum to 100%. Domains with no matching company record are not represented here and skew small and independent.
Global-e Market Share Among Shipping, Fulfillment & Returns
What is Global-e's market share? 0.54% of Shipping, Fulfillment & Returns, 27th in the category, on our live crawl at TechnologyChecker.io. A domain share says nothing about order volume, and Global-e's customers skew large. The biggest like-for-like rivals in the table are WorldShopping (1,705 domains, 0.34%), a buying service for Japanese stores, and Zonos (1,082, 0.22%), which sells duty and tariff calculation. Global-e is bigger than both.
Top Competitors by Market Share
Global-e Customers by Company Size & Age
What size companies use Global-e? Mid-sized, with a real enterprise tail. 30.29% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 35.85% have 11 to 50. But 118 companies have more than 500 staff (9.38%), against 36 on Loop Returns' profile, and they include Mattel, PacSun, Boot Barn and David's Bridal. Cross-border selling at scale is a mid-market and enterprise purchase.
Company Size Distribution
Company Age (Founded Decade)
The largest group was founded in the 2010s (43.36%), then the 2000s (21.57%). The striking number is at the old end: 84 companies (8.93%) predate 1960, more than the 54 founded in the 2020s. Liberty London (1875), Tottenham Hotspur (1882), FC Barcelona (1899) and L.L.Bean (1912) are on the list, heritage names selling to fans and shoppers abroad.
What Industries Use Global-e the Most?

Luxury is the distinctive slice: Retail Luxury Goods and Jewelry (7.71%) and Luxury Goods & Jewelry (1.49%) add up to 9.2%. Personal care follows at 4.06%. Luxury brands using Global-e include Tom Ford Fashion, The Kooples, ba&sh and Karl Lagerfeld. Heritage brands on Global-e include L.L.Bean on its international store, Liberty London and Elizabeth Arden. Sports clubs using Global-e sell kit abroad through it: FC Barcelona's official store and Tottenham Hotspur's shop, based on our enriched company data.
Global-e Alternatives & Competitors
Global-e's table mixes two kinds of rival. WorldShopping (1,705 domains) and Zonos (1,082) sell cross-border services, so they're the fair comparison, and Global-e is bigger than either. ParcelPanel (17,124 domains, 3.44%) is order tracking and Route (9,023, 1.81%) is package protection; they share the category but do a different job. Overlap with them is small: 84 Global-e domains run Route today and 11 run ParcelPanel. Zonos and Global-e share a single domain, so stores pick one cross-border provider.

Expert Analysis: Global-e Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

Global-e sells to bigger brands than the Shopify apps around it in this category, and it shows in the data. A domain counts when it sets Global-e's cookies, creates its GlobalE or GLOBALE_ENGINE_CONFIG objects, or loads a script from global-e.com. Our October 2026 crawl gives 2,693 live domains, 1,305 matched to a company, 27th in Shipping, Fulfillment & Returns. Global-E Online is listed on Nasdaq and based in Petah Tikva, Israel, per its Yahoo Finance profile. I opened the 50 named pages: 31 loaded Global-e, and more than half of the rest were enterprise sites behind bot protection.
Brands, accounts and country domains
Global-e puts a merchant id or the Shopify store's name in most of its script addresses, so we can count accounts. On the 2,006 domains where it was readable we found 1,282 accounts, about 1.6 domains each. Vuori runs 19 domains under one id, from vuoriclothing.co.uk to vuoriclothing.jp. One merchant id spans fullbeauty.com, womanwithin.com, kingsize.com and eloquii.com, and Disney's European store domains share another. Homepages tell the same story. When we requested all 2,670 in our clean set on 14 October, 2,148 of the 2,207 that answered had Global-e in the page source and 762 (34.53%) redirected to another domain, and homepage titles put the ceiling at 1,804 distinct storefronts. Dead stores barely register, at 14 domains (0.5%).
Sales signal: one Global-e account is one buying decision, however many country domains it covers. Group the list by brand before you count opportunities.
Growth: flat since July
The chart reads 2,203 in June, 2,588 in July, 2,582 in August, 2,558 in September and 2,693 in October. The June to July step comes from our side: the domains we crawl turn over every month as dead sites drop out and new ones are found, and our detection signals widen over time. After that the line is close to flat. 626 domains dropped Global-e on at least one hostname since we began tracking it on 16 March 2026; in a re-check 140 still ran it on another.
"Count Global-e in brands. One customer can run twenty country sites, so 2,693 domains describe reach, and the 1,282 accounts we can read come closer to describing the market." - Mehmet Suleyman, CEO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: size the opportunity from the installed base, the October count and the account list, rather than from the curve.
Bigger and older than the category
118 matched companies have more than 500 staff, 9.38% of those with a known size, against 36 on Loop Returns' profile. Mattel, PacSun, Boot Barn and David's Bridal are on the list. The age profile is unusual for an ecommerce app: 84 companies predate 1960 and only 54 were founded in the 2020s. Liberty London (1875), Tottenham Hotspur (1882), FC Barcelona (1899) and L.L.Bean (1912) all sell abroad through it.
Sales signal: brands this size usually have someone who owns international e-commerce. That's the person to reach.
Europe outweighs the US
The United States has 497 matched companies, but European countries in the top 15 add up to 611: the United Kingdom (354), France (115), Italy (35), Germany (31), Spain (29) and others. That's the reverse of Loop Returns' and Seel's profiles, which are mostly American. Industry follows: apparel labels lead (Retail Apparel and Fashion 41.51%), and luxury adds up to 9.2%, with Tom Ford Fashion, The Kooples, ba&sh and Karl Lagerfeld among the named. Our European e-commerce statistics give the market context.
Sales signal: for payments, fraud or translation vendors, the British and French Global-e brands are a short list of companies already selling in many currencies.
Clubs, fans and collectors
A small group buys Global-e to reach fans abroad rather than to sell fashion. FC Barcelona's official store and Tottenham Hotspur's club shop both load it, and Spartan Race runs it on its merchandise shop. Mattel uses it on Mattel Creations, its store for limited-edition collector toys. Demand for these brands is international by nature: a supporter or collector overseas wants the same shirt or figure as one at home, and the checkout has to quote duties and delivery up front. Japan (15 matched companies) and South Korea (13) are small in our counts but present, which is unusual next to the Shopify apps in this category.
Sales signal: for sports and licensing businesses, Global-e's client list shows who already sells merchandise worldwide. Fan-commerce vendors can start with the clubs on it.
Rivals and overlap
We publish no switching data for Global-e, because none of the overlaps passes our tests. Zonos and Global-e share one domain today, three ever. Route runs on 84 Global-e domains (112 ever) and ParcelPanel on 11 (18), but those do other jobs. The interesting neighbour is Loop Returns: 323 Loop domains load Global-e's Shopify script, so international brands often pair the two.
"Global-e and Zonos almost never share a store: one domain in our crawl runs both. That makes the contract renewal the moment to sell." - Mehmet Suleyman, CEO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: to compete with Global-e, time the pitch to the contract renewal. Brands opening new country domains are the ones reviewing their set-up.
Two platforms, one checkout
Shopify runs on 77.12% of Global-e domains and Salesforce Commerce Cloud on 11.42%; CQuotient, Salesforce's recommendation tag, shows up on 8.35%. Shopify's help centre says its Managed Markets service adds Global-e as merchant of record, for a 3.25% transaction fee on Shopify Plus or 3.5% on other plans, plus currency and payment fees. OneTrust is on 18.73% of Global-e domains and Klaviyo on 65.06%.
Sales signal: split the list by platform. The Salesforce Commerce Cloud group buys like enterprise IT, and the Shopify group decides inside the e-commerce team.

Zonos (1,082 domains in our crawl) calculates duties and classifies goods for customs. WorldShopping (1,705) is a buying service for shoppers outside Japan. Stores rarely mix them: Zonos and Global-e share one domain.

Our crawl finds Global-e on 2,693 live domains, and 41.51% of matched companies with a known industry carry the Retail Apparel and Fashion label.
What is Global-e on my statement?
It usually means you bought from an online store that sells internationally through Global-e. In those orders Global-e can act as the merchant of record, the legal seller that charges your card and handles duties and taxes, so its name can appear instead of the brand's. Shopify's Managed Markets works this way, per Shopify's help centre. Check your recent international orders.
Is Global-e a legit company?
Yes. Global-E Online Ltd. is listed on Nasdaq under GLBE, was incorporated in 2013 and is based in Petah Tikva, Israel, according to its Yahoo Finance profile. Shopify names it as the merchant of record for Managed Markets. Our crawl finds its checkout scripts on 2,693 live domains, including Mattel's, FC Barcelona's and L.L.Bean's stores.
How much does Global-e cost?
Global-e doesn't publish a price list; merchants get a quote. Through Shopify's Managed Markets, where Global-e is merchant of record, Shopify lists a 3.25% transaction fee on Shopify Plus and 3.5% on Basic, Grow or Advanced, plus currency conversion and payment processing fees. Checked 14 October 2026. Shoppers may pay duties and taxes at checkout.
What is Global-e used for?
Selling to shoppers in other countries. Global-e localises the checkout with local currency, payment methods and duty-inclusive prices, and handles customs paperwork and tax remittance, often as merchant of record. Global-e vs Shopify Managed Markets: what's the difference?
Managed Markets is Shopify's own cross-border service, and Shopify's help centre names Global-e as its merchant of record, so the engine underneath is shared. A merchant on Managed Markets deals with Shopify Support and pays Shopify's listed fees. Buying Global-e directly gives a separate contract and works beyond Shopify: 11.42% of the Global-e sites we see run Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
