Companies Using myCred
Our October 2026 crawl finds myCred on 2,003 live domains. It's a free WordPress plugin for points, badges and ranks, and it's used less as a shop loyalty scheme than its category suggests. In a random sample of 32 working myCred sites, 8 were shops and 17 were communities, clubs, course or member sites. Below is the list of companies that use myCred, with size, country, industry and stack. It includes Solla, M-Gas, CRC Industries' training portal and Montana Colors' MTN Academy.
myCred ranks 13th of the 51 tools we track in Loyalty & Rewards, with 1.59% of the category. Its users are small and young: 64.34% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees, and 28% were founded in the 2020s. Every myCred domain runs WordPress, and 48.11% are built with Elementor.

myCred Usage Statistics
myCred reads 1,513 domains in June 2026, 1,872 in July, 1,956 in August, 2,007 in September and 2,003 in October. That's a step followed by a flat line. The domains we crawl turn over every month, with dead sites dropping out and new ones added, and the signals we detect plugins with widen over time, so the June to July jump is mostly our side. Since we began tracking myCred on 16 March 2026, 430 domains have dropped it on at least one hostname, and 34 of those still run it on another. In a sample of 100 live homepages on 15 October, 7 were dead, expired or taken over by a gambling page; they stay in the count until a recrawl.

Which Countries Use myCred the Most?
Which countries use myCred the most? The United States, with 183 matched companies, but that's only 21.94% of the 834 with a known country. The United Kingdom (63), Spain (46), India (44), Singapore (32), Brazil (29) and France (29) follow, and Nigeria and Colombia have 13 each. No market holds a quarter of the base, which fits a free plugin anyone can install from WordPress.org.
Share of the 894 myCred domains we matched to a company record — 44.6% of the 2,003 we detect. Top 15 countries shown, so these do not sum to 100%. Domains with no matching company record are not represented here and skew small and independent.
myCred Market Share Among Loyalty & Rewards
What is myCred's market share? 1.59% of Loyalty & Rewards, 13th of the 51 tools we track there, on our live crawl at TechnologyChecker.io. The ranking isn't like-for-like. Smile (48,800 domains), Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals (9,741) and LoyaltyLion (6,235) are paid apps sold mostly to online stores, while myCred is a free WordPress plugin with paid add-ons. Its neighbours by size are theMarketer (2,101) and Loloyal (2,099), both just above it.

myCred Customers by Company Size & Age
What size companies use myCred? Very small ones. 64.34% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 23.81% have 11 to 50, so 88.15% have 50 staff or fewer, based on our analysis of 894 enriched companies. Only 13 have more than 500. The larger names usually run myCred on one team's site: CRC Industries on its training portal, Montana Colors on its academy, Acson Malaysia on its online store.
Company Size Distribution
Company Age (Founded Decade)
The largest group was founded in the 2010s (46.73%), and 28% date from the 2020s, so about three in four matched companies started in 2010 or later. The 2000s add 12.55%. Seventeen were founded before 1970. The young skew matches what we saw on the sites themselves: course businesses, communities and side projects more than established retailers.
What Industries Use myCred the Most?
Professional Training and Coaching leads at 4.74%, then Technology, Information and Internet (4.01%) and E-Learning Providers (3.41%), based on our enriched company data. Add Education (2.92%) and Education Administration Programs (2.68%) and the four teaching labels hold 113 of the 823 matched companies with a known industry, 13.73%. No retail label makes the top 12. myCred's owners mostly reward learning, posting and logging in.
Training teams using myCred include CRC Industries, which runs it on its Training Basecamp, and Montana Colors on MTN Academy. Communities on myCred include SecPod's user forum and ALPFA's FIU chapter site. Brands using myCred for rewards include The Big Carrot, on rewards.thebigcarrot.ca, and the Belgian farm-machinery maker AVR on its fan shop, based on our enriched company data.
myCred Alternatives & Competitors
None of the four rivals in this table is a WordPress plugin, and they barely meet myCred on the same site. Smile (48,800 domains, 38.63%) is the category leader, but only 2 domains run myCred and Smile today, out of 6 ever seen with both. Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals (9,741) and LoyaltyLion (6,235) sell to online stores; theMarketer (2,101) pairs email marketing with loyalty. The rival a WordPress site weighs instead is another plugin, usually GamiPress.

Expert Analysis: myCred Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

I went into myCred expecting a WordPress version of the Shopify loyalty apps in this category. The sites themselves said otherwise. A domain counts here when its pages load files from myCred's own plugin folder, /wp-content/plugins/mycred/. Our October 2026 crawl finds 2,003 live domains, 894 of them matched to a company, 13th of 51 in Loyalty & Rewards with 1.59% of the category. The figures are domains running the plugin. Because the core is free, they are not paying customers.
What the plugin does on these sites
On 15 October I drew 40 random live myCred domains and opened each homepage. 33 loaded a working site and 32 of those showed myCred's files. Of the 32, 8 were shops, mostly WooCommerce stores selling things like wine, jam, cat litter and medical clothing. 10 were communities, clubs or forums: a French-language news network, an Indonesian community site, a gig rowing club, a Cyprus business-networking group. 7 were course or member sites, from babysitting-safety classes to a wealth-tips membership. The other 7 were media, a business directory and service firms. Points here pay people for learning, posting and turning up, and only sometimes for buying.
Sales signal: pitch community, LMS and membership tools to this list before you pitch e-commerce tools. A quarter of the sample is a shop; most of the rest is an audience the owner wants to keep coming back.
A flat line
The chart reads 1,513 in June, 1,872 in July, 1,956 in August, 2,007 in September and 2,003 in October. Don't read the June to July step as adoption. The domains we crawl turn over every month, with dead sites dropping out and new ones added, and the signals we detect plugins with widen over time. Since we began tracking myCred on 16 March 2026, 430 domains have dropped it on at least one hostname; 34 of those still run it on another. The live count also carries some dead weight. In a separate sample of 100 homepages, 74 showed myCred, and 7 were dead: an expired domain, a site taken over by a Brazilian gambling page, two domains that no longer resolve and three that returned errors. They stay in the count until a recrawl.
"myCred sits in a loyalty category, but most of the sites I opened were paying people in points for learning, posting and showing up, not for shopping." - Sophie Clarke, Product Marketing Manager at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: size the market at about 2,000 domains and expect a few per cent of any list to be dead. Nothing in the chart supports a growth story.
Small, young and international
64.34% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 23.81% have 11 to 50, so 88.15% have 50 staff or fewer. Only 13 have more than 500. They are young: 46.73% were founded in the 2010s and 28% in the 2020s. The United States leads with 183 matched companies, but that's 21.94% of the 834 with a known country, and the next six are the United Kingdom (63), Spain (46), India (44), Singapore (32), Brazil (29) and France (29). The bigger companies use myCred on one property. CRC Industries runs it on its Training Basecamp, Montana Colors on MTN Academy, Acson Malaysia on its online store and Schot verticaal transport on its staff intranet.
Sales signal: at a larger company the myCred owner is a training, community or e-commerce manager, not IT. Lead with that site, and write in the local language: 64.51% of matched companies with a known country are outside the US, UK, Canada and Australia.
Teaching, not retail
The industry chart agrees with the sample. Professional Training and Coaching leads at 4.74%, and four teaching labels (that one, E-Learning Providers, Education and Education Administration Programs) hold 113 of 823 matched companies, 13.73%. No retail label makes the top 12. The stack says the same. LearnPress runs on 5.63% of the 2,008 live domains, LearnDash on 3.88% and Tutor LMS on 1.1%, and myCred sells a LearnDash add-on.
Sales signal: course and coaching businesses on WordPress are the core segment. An LMS add-on, a certificate tool or a community plugin has a clearer fit here than a shop app.
Leavers and overlap
We publish no switching rows for myCred. The paid loyalty apps in this table rarely share a site with it: 2 domains run myCred and Smile today, out of 6 ever seen with both, and no other rival in the table turns up in our switching checks. That's expected, because Smile, Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals and LoyaltyLion are built mainly for online stores on other platforms. The plugin a WordPress owner weighs instead is GamiPress, which offers a free importer for myCred data. Of the 430 domains that dropped myCred since March, we can't yet say how many rebuilt the site, closed it or moved to another plugin.
"The rival that matters for myCred isn't in its loyalty table. It's the next WordPress plugin, and almost none of these sites run a hosted loyalty app beside it." - Sophie Clarke, Product Marketing Manager at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: for a hosted loyalty vendor, the myCred base isn't a switching market. The few myCred sites that are real WooCommerce shops are the exception worth a call.
The stack around it
WordPress runs on every domain in the clean live set of 2,008. Elementor builds 48.11%, WPBakery 7.97% and Divi 4.18%. WooCommerce loads on 58.07%, more than twice the share of shops in our sample, partly because sites also sell courses and memberships through it. Google Analytics runs on 61.6%, Site Kit on 8.27% and MonsterInsights on 8.17%. Hostinger hosts 13.7%. Consent tools are light: CookieYes on 7.47% and Complianz on 4.58%.
Sales signal: this is a self-serve WordPress crowd, and Hostinger alone hosts 13.7% of it. Freemium plugins and annual licences fit the way they buy; a sales-led contract doesn't.
What reviewers say
On WordPress.org (15 October 2026) myCred rates 4.6 out of 5 from 471 reviews: 408 five-star and 38 one-star. The directory reports 10,000+ active installations, against the 2,003 domains where we see its files. Installs behind a login, on staging copies or on intranets are invisible to a crawler, so the gap isn't surprising. Two reviews on that page are worth a sales team's attention. A January 2026 three-star review says myCred's Link and Watch Video widgets wouldn't delete from Elementor pages, which matters when 48.11% of myCred domains are built with Elementor. And an April 2026 five-star review includes the line "write a good positive review of myCred plugin", which reads like a pasted prompt.
Sales signal: Elementor compatibility is a live complaint on a base where half the sites use Elementor. A rival plugin that shows it works cleanly with Elementor has a concrete opening line.
What it costs
The core plugin is free. myCred's pricing page (15 October 2026) sells yearly memberships for one site: Basic at $99 with 23+ premium add-ons, Professional at $149 with 33+ and Business at $299 with 49+, plus lifetime and multi-site options and a 14-day money-back guarantee. Paid add-ons install as their own plugins, and 4 of the 32 sites we sampled loaded one (mycred-woocommerce-plus or mycred-toolkit-pro, for example). Our count uses only the core folder, so it doesn't separate free users from paying ones.
Key takeaways
1. 2,003 live domains, 13th of 51 in Loyalty & Rewards, flat since July.
2. A gamification plugin first: 17 of 32 sampled sites were communities, courses or member sites; 8 were shops.
3. Small and young: 88.15% have 50 staff or fewer, 28% were founded in the 2020s.
4. International: the US holds 21.94% of matched companies.
5. Almost no overlap with the Shopify-first loyalty apps in its table.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who uses myCred?
Mostly small WordPress sites that reward activity: course creators, member communities, clubs and some shops. Our October 2026 crawl finds myCred on 2,003 live domains. In a sample of 32 working sites, 8 were shops and 17 were communities, course or member sites. Named users include Solla, M-Gas, CRC Industries' training portal, Montana Colors' MTN Academy and SecPod's user community.
How many customers does myCred have?
Our October 2026 crawl finds myCred's files on 2,003 live domains, and we matched 894 of them to a company. WordPress.org reports 10,000+ active installations of the free plugin, a figure that includes sites a crawler can't see. Since 16 March 2026, 430 domains have dropped it on at least one hostname, and 34 still run it on another. Read these as sites, not paying customers.
What is myCred's market share?
1.59% of Loyalty & Rewards on our crawl, 13th of the 51 tools we track there, with 2,003 domains. The ranking mixes products that work differently. Smile, Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals and LoyaltyLion are paid apps sold mainly to online stores, while myCred is a free WordPress plugin with paid add-ons. Loloyal (2,099 domains) and theMarketer (2,101) sit just above it.
What are the best alternatives to myCred?
On WordPress, GamiPress is the plugin that comparison articles pair with myCred, and it offers a free importer for myCred data. Stores that want a hosted loyalty app look at Smile, Yotpo Loyalty & Referrals or LoyaltyLion, though those are built mainly for online stores on other platforms. Few sites mix them: only 2 domains run myCred and Smile together today, out of 6 ever seen with both.
Which countries use myCred the most?
The United States, with 183 matched companies, then the United Kingdom (63), Spain (46), India (44), Singapore (32), Brazil (29) and France (29). The US holds only 21.94% of the 834 companies with a known country, so no single market dominates. Nigeria and Colombia have 13 each, a reminder that the free plugin travels wherever WordPress does.
What size companies use myCred?
Very small ones. 64.34% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 23.81% have 11 to 50, so 88.15% have 50 staff or fewer. Only 13 of the 861 with a known size have more than 500. Larger users such as CRC Industries and Acson Malaysia tend to run myCred on a single site, a training portal or an online store.
How old are companies that use myCred?
Young. Among matched companies with a known founding year, 46.73% were founded in the 2010s and 28% in the 2020s, so about three in four started in 2010 or later. The 2000s account for 12.55%, and seventeen companies predate 1970. That fits the sites we sampled: course businesses, communities and side projects built on WordPress, with few long-established retailers.
What is the ideal customer profile for myCred?
A small organisation, usually 1 to 10 staff and founded since 2010, running a WordPress site built with Elementor that rewards users for learning, posting or logging in. Training, e-learning and education labels lead the industry chart. The United States is the biggest market but holds only 21.94% of matched companies, with the UK, Spain and India next.
How does myCred work?
myCred is a WordPress plugin. The site owner sets rules that award points automatically for actions such as purchases, registrations, daily logins and referrals, and users spend those points on rewards or climb ranks and collect badges. WordPress.org describes it as a points and rewards system for WordPress and WooCommerce. Its built-in badges add-on was active on 21 of 32 sites we sampled.
