Companies Using LogRocket

I'm David Thomson, CTO at TechnologyChecker.io, and I maintain the detection rules behind this page. LogRocket is a session-replay tool that engineering teams put inside their own product, which makes it hard to count from outside. Our September 29, 2026 crawl finds it on 6,577 websites, 3,780 of them matched to a company record, and a third of the domains show it only on an app or portal subdomain.

Where LogRocket runs

We count registrable domains, so a company's www., app. and portal. hosts count once. At crawl time LogRocket sat on 8,275 hosts belonging to 6,752 live domains, and on 2,153 of those domains (31.9%) it appeared only on a subdomain: app. 639 times, portal. 217, community. 135, my. 78. The random pages we loaded in a browser look the same, app.trullion.com, panel.getskedu.com and portal.peregrine.co.za among them. 28 of 29 loaded LogRocket's script, and the 19 data requests we caught went to 19 different LogRocket accounts.

Our crawler doesn't log in. What it sees on app.company.com is the public sign-in screen, so a team that loads LogRocket only after login never shows up. Read the 6,577 as a floor.

Sales Signal: Read the host column as well as the domain. LogRocket on app.company.com means a logged-in product, an engineering team that owns it and a bill that grows with recorded sessions.

Why the chart steps up in August

The usage line goes from 3,104 websites in June to 3,511 in July, 5,769 in August and 6,577 in September. Most of the August step is ours. LogRocket serves its script from newer hostnames such as cdn.logr-in.com and cdn.lgrckt-in.com, and we added five of them to our rule on August 4, 2026; in our browser sample, 21 of 28 installs used the new hosts. That's why 55.24% of today's LogRocket domains were first seen in August or September. The set of domains we crawl also turns over every month, dead sites out and new ones in. Since we began tracking in March 2026, 1,127 domains dropped LogRocket, a figure that includes app pages flickering in and out of view.

Sales Signal: Treat the base as a stock of about 6,600 websites, not a growth rate. Nothing in our data says LogRocket adoption doubled this summer.

Customer profile

49.55% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees, 27.51% have 11 to 50, and 69.33% were founded in 2010 or later. The top of the list is heavier than that suggests. 149 companies have more than 1,000 staff, 4.03% of those with a size on record, level with FullStory's 4.01% and above Hotjar's 2.38%. Waste Management loads LogRocket on www.wm.com under an app named wm-ecom, McKesson on its connect.mckesson.com portal and Ally Financial on secure.ally.com.

LogRocket's own case studies name Cox Automotive, Tecovas and Speedway Motors, among others. Our crawl agrees on all three: LogRocket runs on Cox's Manheim auction sites, such as postsales.manheim.com, on tecovas.com and on www.speedwaymotors.com, where the data request names an app called speedwaymotorscom-production.

Sales Signal: The enterprise installs are departmental. A LogRocket detection at McKesson or Gordon Food Service (order.gfs.com) points at the team behind one ordering or customer portal, and that team is the buyer.

Industry and geography

Software Development leads at 12.36%, then Technology, Information and Internet (7.07%), Financial Services (5.74%) and IT Services and IT Consulting (4.98%). Hotjar's and Microsoft Clarity's top industry is Retail. Finance is the row to watch: Ally, Brex, Ramp and CMG Mortgage all load it, and LogRocket's pricing page pitches its self-hosted edition at financial services, healthcare and government. The United States holds 2,091 of the 3,780 matched companies, far ahead of the United Kingdom (222), Canada (182) and Australia (126).

About 5% of the domains arrive another way. 365 run on hosted platforms that ship LogRocket inside their own product, such as Heartbeat community sites (169) and Terra Dotta's study-abroad portals (12). We count them, since the recorder does run there, but keep those brands off the named list.

Sales Signal: US fintech, lending and healthcare portals are the high-value slice. They record sensitive flows, so lead with privacy controls and where the data is stored.

The stack: Sentry next door

27.34% of LogRocket sites also run Sentry, 1,846 sites. Datadog is on 7.85% and New Relic on 3.70%. On the analytics side, PostHog is on 5.73%, Mixpanel on 5.41% and Amplitude on 2.22%. On the front end, React (22.11%), Vue (12.16%) and Angular (9.14%) lead, with hosting on AWS (27.47%) and Vercel (15.71%).

None of these looks like a replacement. We tested each rival for switching and nothing passed. The closest was Hotjar: 210 domains that dropped LogRocket run Hotjar now, but 63.4% of sites that ever ran both still run both, and 210 is only 1.8 times what LogRocket's normal drop rate would predict, short of the 2 times our test needs.

Sales Signal: The 1,846 sites running both pay twice for error tracking, and Sentry runs a page, sentry.io/from/logrocket, pitching its own replay to LogRocket users. For LogRocket that overlap is a retention list. For Sentry it's a consolidation list.
