Companies Using Strikingly

I'm Emma Davies, a data analyst at TechnologyChecker.io. This analysis covers 9,030 websites running Strikingly in our September 27, 2026 crawl, of which we matched 5,462 to a company. I also opened a random sample of 36 sites and every company named on this page, because a builder that serves a placeholder for unpublished sites needs checking by hand.

Growth trajectory

Strikingly is stable, not growing. It read 7,217, 7,406 and 7,404 live domains from June to August, and the jump to 9,030 in September comes from our side, both the domains we cover and the signals we detect it with: 18.84% of today's Strikingly domains were first seen in August or September. Since tracking began in March 2026, 447 domains have dropped it, which is about 5% of the base.

About 10% to 17% of the count are "Site Under Construction" pages. By title, 706 of 7,032 titled sites (10.0%) carry it, in 15 languages; in the random sample it was 6 of 35 sites that loaded. Those are domains whose owner stopped publishing or stopped paying, and Strikingly keeps serving the placeholder.

Sales Signal: A domain showing Strikingly's construction page is a business without a working site. Web designers can treat those as warm leads: the owner has already bought a domain and tried a builder once.

Customer profile

77.01% of matched companies have 1 to 10 employees, and 93.49% have 50 or fewer. The 2010s are the founding decade for 53.41%, and only 22% were founded in the 2020s. Most larger names use Strikingly for one part of a bigger web presence: PAX Technology for its international site, Aircraft Services Group for careers, ECAM Lyon for its Gene Haas Center page. Wysa is the exception, with its main site on Strikingly.

Sales Signal: Most buyers are 2010s firms that likely picked their builder years ago. A redesign or migration offer fits them better than another tool.

Industry and geographic concentration

Consulting leads at 7.82%, then coaching (3.43%), IT services (3.38%) and advertising (3.08%). Those are businesses selling expertise, and a single page with a pitch and a contact form is often all they need.

The geography doesn't match Strikingly's Asian reputation. The US has 1,583 matched companies and France 597, then the UK (388) and China (341). France is backed by the domains themselves: .fr is the third most common ending among Strikingly sites, and Belgium adds 106. The Asian countries in our top 15 (China, Singapore, Taiwan, India) total 575. A likely reason is SXL, the separate platform Strikingly runs for mainland China, which we haven't measured.

Sales Signal: French-speaking Europe is the surprise segment: 703 matched companies across France and Belgium. French-language agencies and tools have a ready list.

Why there is no migration table

No competitor received 50 or more of Strikingly's leavers, the threshold we use before publishing a switching flow. We counted 365 domains that left since March 2026. The largest identifiable destination was WordPress with 28, then Wix with 8 and Framer with 7. Four or fewer went to each other builder we checked, and most of the rest show none of those builders.

Sales Signal: For Wix, Framer or agency rebuilds, the target is the Strikingly site that has outgrown five pages. Start with consultancies of 11 to 50 staff, the size where a one-page site starts to feel small.

Technology ecosystem

On the 8,252 working sites, Google Analytics is on 64.77%, likely through the builder's own setting, and Google Tag Manager on 25.15%. Paid tracking is light: Facebook Pixel on 4.9%, Google Ads conversion tracking on 3.47%, LinkedIn Insight Tag on 1.28%. Google Workspace (17.96%) leads Microsoft 365 (11.17%) for email, and QQ Mail (1.24%) and Baidu Analytics mark the Chinese users. GoDaddy runs DNS for 20.19% of domains, OVH for 3.62%. Sales Signal: Fewer than one in twenty Strikingly sites runs Facebook Pixel, so most owners don't appear to buy social traffic. Lead with organic search or local listings.

G2 review signals

G2 rates Strikingly 4.0 out of 5 from just 39 reviews (September 27, 2026), with 81% at four or five stars and 5% at one star. That's too few for G2 to publish a pros and cons summary, so this page doesn't show one. The small review count matches the base: 9,030 sites, mostly owned by firms of 10 or fewer people.

Sales Signal: A Strikingly user comparing options has little independent review content to go on. Clear migration guides and side-by-side pricing do more work here than social proof.
