Companies Using QQ Mail

I run the systems that read DNS for this site, and QQ Mail is the kind of rule I trust most: one MX lookup. A domain counts when its MX record names a qq.com mail server. Our October 2026 crawl finds 43,458 such domains, 8th of 31 in Email & Webmail, and 23,306 of them matched a company. I re-checked the rule by hand on 13 October. Of 400 random domains from the list, 394 still sent their mail to Tencent, 4 had no MX record left and 2 had moved, one to Google and one to NetEase.

QQ Mail or Tencent Exmail?

The name on this page is the consumer brand. Tencent launched QQ Mail as a free service in 2002, according to its product page, and a qq.com address is a personal mailbox. A company domain is a different product. In my sample, 375 of the 400 pointed at mxbiz1.qq.com and mxbiz2.qq.com (two of them at mxbiz.vip.qq.com), Tencent Exmail's business servers. 50 of the 51 companies we checked for this page's list use those servers; Tencent's own domain uses cloudmx.qq.com. Only 19 sampled domains pointed at mxdomain.qq.com. The rule has no TXT clause, so nothing here is an old verification record. Every domain is routing mail to Tencent now, or was at our last check.

Sales signal: treat this as a list of companies on Tencent Exmail, which Tencent ties into WeChat and WeCom. Your pitch is to the IT or admin lead who picked it, not to a marketer.

Growth trajectory

The chart runs 30,954 in June, 39,172 in July, 41,055 in August, 42,717 in September and 43,458 in October. Most of that climb is on our side. The domains we crawl turn over every month, as dead sites drop out and new ones are found, and our detection coverage widens; the June to July step is the clearest case. Since we began tracking QQ Mail in March 2026, 1,807 domains dropped it on at least one hostname, and 34 of them still run it on another. I dug 120 of the domains that had dropped it entirely. 74 still pointed at Tencent, so a DNS lookup that failed on the day, not a lost customer, explains most of them.

Sales signal: size your market at about 43,000 domains and don't build a forecast on the monthly line. The installed base is stable; the chart mostly shows our reach growing.

Who the customers are

The peak is in the middle. 31.49% of matched companies with a known size have 51 to 200 employees, 26.11% have 11 to 50 and 17.9% have 1 to 10. 834 have more than 1,000 staff, among them 58.com, Liepin, Hytera, Zuoyebang and Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group. Age points the same way: 48.36% were founded in the 2010s and 31.49% in the 2000s, and only 6.57% in the 2020s. These are mostly established organisations, and schools and universities appear often: SUSTech, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and the China University of Mining and Technology all route mail there.

Sales signal: the typical account is a 50 to 200 person Chinese company founded in the 2010s. Migration help, archiving and security add-ons fit that buyer better than a new mail platform.

Industry and geography

China accounts for 18,570 of the 23,306 matched companies, 79.68%. The United States follows with 863, then Hong Kong (368), Singapore (180), Australia (154) and the United Kingdom (144). Industry adds the shape: Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing leads at 7.2%, Machinery Manufacturing has 5.1%, and the four manufacturing labels together reach 16.35%. Wholesale (3.73%) and International Trade and Development (1.95%) sit behind them, and software (6.9%) and IT services (5.11%) are the other big groups. Outside China the names include Futu Holdings in Hong Kong, Flash Express in Thailand, edotco in Malaysia and SHL, whose China site cn.shl.com runs its mail on Tencent.

Sales signal: filter for Chinese manufacturers with export labels if you sell trade services, logistics or cross-border payments. The overseas rows are small, but each is a company running Chinese mail infrastructure outside China.

Switching and overlap

There is no switching table on this page because nothing passed our tests. 47 QQ Mail domains also run Microsoft 365 today and 66 run Google Workspace, out of 76 and 81 ever seen with both, which reads as domains splitting mail between providers rather than moving. My re-check of the 120 full drops tells the rest. Of the 46 that had left Tencent, 14 had no MX record (most likely dead sites), 9 had moved to Alibaba Mail, 7 to NetEase, 5 to Feishu, 4 to Cloudflare's mail routing and 2 to Hostinger. Google and Huawei Cloud took one each, and three moved to their own or smaller mail hosts.

Sales signal: Microsoft and Google resellers will find few takers here. Alibaba Mail and NetEase are the real competition for these accounts, with Feishu close behind.

The stack around it

Across the 43,103 live domains in our clean set, Google Analytics runs on 28.38% and Baidu Analytics on 16.54%, with CNZZ on 4.64%. WordPress (15.52%) and Elementor (5.51%) are the common builders, and GoDaddy hosts 6.79%. Shopify appears on 13.9% of the raw domains, and our page titles show hundreds of those stores closed: 527 read "This store is unavailable" and 494 show Shopify's "Create an Ecommerce Website" page. A closed store still counts here if its domain's mail goes to Tencent, which is right for a mail count but worth knowing before you call the number.

Sales signal: the WordPress and Shopify rows are export-facing sites. Check the website is live before outreach, because the mailbox can outlive the shop.

What it costs

Tencent Exmail's English site, checked on 13 October 2026, says ordinary accounts are free with no upper limit and VIP accounts are bought per seat, at a listed unit price of ¥190. Its version comparison gives the free Basic edition 1 GB mailboxes and 500 external emails a day. The same site claims more than 30 million corporate users, a count of people that our domain figure can't confirm or contradict.

Sales signal: with a free tier and daily sending limits, many of these domains may pay little or nothing; we can't see which edition a domain is on. Companies hitting the 500-a-day limit are the ones most likely to buy VIP seats or look elsewhere.
