Companies Using QuoteMedia

Our live crawl finds QuoteMedia on 665 domains in the August 2026 rollup, and 606 of the 719 domains we currently answer for, 84.3%, resolve to an identifiable organisation. QuoteMedia supplies stock market data, quotes, charts, filings and portfolio tools, delivered as a widget that a site embeds into a page. The companies using QuoteMedia named further down include CBRE, Dollar Tree, AMD, Emerson, Becton Dickinson, Compass, VF Corp, Ingram Micro, Papa John's, Lyft, Maximus and Global Payments, and 48 of the 50 organisations in that table carry a Public Company type on their record.

What puts a domain on this list is one QuoteMedia-owned script host, qmod.quotemedia.com, so precision is not the question here; nothing outside QuoteMedia serves that name. We loaded a sample of detected pages in a real browser and 7 of the 8 carried qmod.quotemedia.com, most of them many times over: 79 references on purecyclewater.com and 82 on another page in the sample. One, ir.cadencebank.com, rendered without it. The version strings are the detail worth publishing. Each site pins its own build of the widget, and on a single day we saw v1.12.0, v1.45.0, v1.92.0, v1.94.0 and v1.114.0 running on different customers. That is a set-and-forget embed, dropped in once and left alone, and it is what sits behind the low drop rate below. Detection is page-level, on the specific property carrying the widget, which is why the detection URLs in our records are investor-relations subdomains: investor.salemmedia.com, ir.carecloud.com, investors.fullhouseresorts.com and investor.genworth.com.

28 of the 745 domains we have ever seen carrying QuoteMedia no longer show it, 3.8%, and we have been tracking this technology since March 2026. QuoteMedia ranks 151st of 380 in Web Analytics on 0.004% share, a filing this page argues with below: a market-data widget is not a visitor-counting product, and 0.004% of that category describes our taxonomy rather than QuoteMedia's market. Filter the websites using QuoteMedia by size, country, industry and co-installed technology underneath. Data current to our August 2026 rollup.

QuoteMedia Usage Statistics

QuoteMedia reads 445 domains on our June 2026 rollup, 538 in July and 665 in August. Three points cannot carry a growth rate, and this movement is coverage rather than adoption. The crawled domain set turns over every month, with dead domains dropping out and newly discovered ones coming in, and detection widens at the same time: the total number of domains seen carrying the QuoteMedia signal moved from 446 to 551 to 687 across the same three months, running ahead of the active line in each of the last two. Read the points as three sightings of a population we can see progressively more of, not as a trend in sales. One caution belongs here specifically. This is a page-level detection on a widget host, so an issuer whose investor page we did not reach in a given month is simply absent from that month's number, without anything having changed at QuoteMedia. The August figure, 665, is the one quoted at the top of this page.

List of Companies Using QuoteMedia

Our list of companies using QuoteMedia on TechnologyChecker.io covers 50 of the 606 matched organisations, ordered by LinkedIn following. Two columns repay reading. The first is the detection URL: 41 of the 50 sit on an ir, investor, investors or shareholder host, ir.cbre.com, ir.amd.com, ir.emerson.com, investors.bd.com, ir.ingrammicro.com, ir.papajohns.com, investor.lyft.com, investor.maximus.com and investors.globalpayments.com among them, with a handful on the apex or a corporate host instead, vfc.com and corporate.dollartree.com. The second is company type: 48 of the 50 carry a Public Company type on their record. Enrichment runs high on this profile for the same reason, 606 of the 719 domains our live crawl currently answers for, 84.3%. An investor-relations host carries the issuer's own brand in the domain and resolves to the issuer, where an arbitrary departmental subdomain often resolves to nothing. Read the table as a sample of the large end rather than a picture of the base: ordering by LinkedIn following puts the 10,001+ band on top, while 247 of the 601 companies with a size band, 41.10%, employ 50 people or fewer. Counts here are domains, not accounts, seats or subscriptions, and the 665 headline is the August rollup while 719 is what our crawl currently answers for. The two bases are different and this page keeps them apart.

Which Countries Use QuoteMedia the Most?

Which countries use QuoteMedia the most? The United States holds 461 of the 593 companies we could place, 77.74%, and Canada is second on 94, 15.85%. Together they are 555 companies, 93.59%, which leaves 38 of the 593, 6.41%, for the rest of the world: the United Kingdom 10 (1.69%), Israel 5 (0.84%), India 3 (0.51%), Ireland 3 (0.51%), then Mexico, Peru and Australia on 2 each (0.34%). Canada at roughly one row in six is the number worth stopping on, and it is not incidental. QuoteMedia is a Canadian company, and the TSX and the TSX Venture exchange are where junior mining and resource issuers list. The 15.85% Canada share and the 6.51% Mining share of the 584 companies with a recorded industry are the same fact seen twice. A junior explorer still has to put a share price on its investor page, and it is not going to buy a hosted investor-relations platform to do it. Country here is the headquarters on the company record, not where the widget is served from.

QuoteMedia Market Share Among Web Analytics

What is QuoteMedia's market share? Take the number first and then set it aside. QuoteMedia holds 0.004% of Web Analytics and ranks 151st of 380 in that category, on 665 domains. Two things about that figure. Web Analytics holds 380 technologies with live domains and our market-share API returns only the top 100 rows, so QuoteMedia does not appear in that published table at all; the rank of 151 was computed directly against the monthly rollup instead. And the category is the wrong shelf. The five rows at the top are Google Analytics on 10,942,935 domains and 64.26%, Cloudflare Browser Insights on 1,916,483 (11.25%), Site Kit on 616,569 (3.62%), WordPress.com Stats on 447,144 (2.63%) and Snowplow Analytics on 380,244 (2.23%). Every one of them counts visitors. QuoteMedia publishes a share price, a chart and a filings list to those visitors. 0.004% of a visitor-analytics category measures nothing about QuoteMedia's market. The readings that do mean something are in the customer base: 142 of the 601 companies with a size band, 23.63%, employ more than 1,000 people, 91 of the 584 with a recorded industry, 15.58%, are in life sciences, and Canada takes 94 of the 593 companies we could place, 15.85%. TechnologyChecker.io publishes the rank because every profile carries one; this paragraph exists so nobody quotes it on its own.

QuoteMedia Customers by Company Size & Age

What size companies use QuoteMedia? The distribution is genuinely bimodal, and that is the finding. The largest single band is 11-50 employees at 131 of the 601 companies with a size band, 21.80%, with 1-10 behind it at 116, 19.30%, so 247 companies, 41.10%, employ 50 people or fewer. At the other end, 142 companies, 23.63%, employ more than 1,000, split across 1,001-5,000 at 74 (12.31%), 5,001-10,000 at 20 (3.33%) and 10,001+ at 48 (7.99%). That 7.99% in the top band is high for a technology counted on 665 domains. The middle sags between the two ends: 201-500 is 60 companies (9.98%) and 501-1,000 is 44 (7.32%), 104 companies, 17.30%, across the two bands that carry the bulk of most software bases. 51-200 holds 108 (17.97%). The reason is that nothing here scales with headcount. A junior mining company with eleven staff and a Fortune 500 both have exactly one investor page and both need a share price on it. One warning about the named table below: it is ordered by LinkedIn following, so it shows the large end almost exclusively and is not a picture of this distribution.

Company Size Distribution

Company Age (Founded Decade)

The 2010s lead at 136 of the 427 companies with a founding year on file, 31.85%, with the 2000s second at 89, 20.84%, and the 1990s third at 62, 14.52%. Add the 2020s at 35, 8.20%, and 260 companies, 60.89%, were founded since 2000. Pre-1960 is fourth at 47, 11.01%, ahead of the 1980s at 34 (7.96%), the 1970s at 15 (3.51%) and the 1960s at 9 (2.11%). Read this next to the size table rather than on its own. A base where 41.10% of the 601 sized companies employ 50 people or fewer and 60.89% of the 427 dated companies were founded since 2000 is a base of recent listings, and a recent listing is exactly the issuer that needs a market-data widget without owning an investor-relations platform to put it in. The pre-1960 group is the other half of the bimodal shape, and it is where the household names sit: Emerson is recorded at 1890, Becton Dickinson at 1897 and VF Corp at 1899, all three on the 10,001+ band. One caveat on any founding year: it comes from the company record, so a reorganised or renamed entity carries the date of the reorganisation rather than the age of the business.

What Industries Use QuoteMedia the Most?

Financial Services leads any single label at 8.56% of the 584 companies with a recorded industry, 50 companies, with Biotechnology Research second at 43, 7.36%, then Oil and Gas and Mining level at 38 each, 6.51%. Real Estate follows on 23 (3.94%), Pharmaceutical Manufacturing 21 (3.60%), Manufacturing 17 (2.91%), Software Development 17 (2.91%), Biotechnology 14 (2.40%) and Medical Equipment Manufacturing 13 (2.23%). Group the labels that describe the same kind of issuer and the shape appears. Life sciences, Biotechnology Research plus Pharmaceutical Manufacturing plus Biotechnology plus Medical Equipment Manufacturing, is 91 companies, 15.58% of the 584, and resources, Oil and Gas plus Mining, is 76 companies, 13.02%. Add Financial Services and Real Estate and those four groups reach 240 companies, 41.10% of the 584. What they share is not a technology preference. They are the sectors whose companies list early, trade on retail interest and run a share price on the front page: a clinical-stage biotechnology company and a junior explorer both have public shareholders long before they have revenue.

Financial Services50 (8.56%)
Biotechnology Research43 (7.36%)
Oil and Gas38 (6.51%)
Mining38 (6.51%)
Real Estate23 (3.94%)
Pharmaceutical Manufacturing21 (3.6%)

Listed issuers using QuoteMedia are the whole base, and two separate columns say so. On the company records, 240 of the 584 companies with a recorded industry, 41.10%, sit in the four groups defined by having public shareholders: life sciences 91 (15.58%), resources 76 (13.02%), Financial Services 50 (8.56%) and Real Estate 23 (3.94%). On the URLs our live crawl actually fetched, the detections land on investor-relations properties rather than corporate apexes: investor.salemmedia.com, ir.carecloud.com, investors.fullhouseresorts.com, investor.genworth.com and ir.cadencebank.com, and in the table below ir.cbre.com, ir.amd.com, investors.bd.com, investors.compass.com and investor.lyft.com. 41 of the 50 named detections sit on an ir, investor, investors or shareholder host.

The base is not only investor-relations sites, and that matters if you are sizing it. Financial media portals appear too, www.oilandgas360.com and investorshangout.com among them, which matches how QuoteMedia sells: to public companies, and also to media portals, brokerages and banks that need quotes and charts on their own pages. Two record caveats before reading any row too closely. An industry label describes the issuer, not the widget, so Real Estate at 23 companies, 3.94% of the 584, is counting property companies with shareholders rather than anything property-specific about the deployment. And Mining at 38 companies, 6.51% of the 584, should be read alongside Canada at 94 of the 593 placed companies, 15.85%, because those rows are largely the same population: the TSX Venture exchange is where junior resource issuers list.

QuoteMedia Alternatives & Competitors

This table lists the five largest technologies in the same taxonomy bucket, not the five products a QuoteMedia buyer shortlists. Google Analytics on 10,942,935 domains and 64.26%, Cloudflare Browser Insights on 1,916,483 (11.25%), Site Kit on 616,569 (3.62%), WordPress.com Stats on 447,144 (2.63%) and Snowplow Analytics on 380,244 (2.23%) are all products for counting visitors. QuoteMedia sells the market data published to those visitors. Different product, different buyer, different budget line, and no investor-relations team is choosing between them.

The comparison that does say something is Q4, the investor-relations website platform we also publish, selling into the same market. Of Q4's 1,454 live domains and QuoteMedia's 719, exactly 2 run both, 0.14% of Q4's base and 0.28% of QuoteMedia's. That is deployment model rather than rivalry in the ordinary sense. Q4 hosts the whole investor-relations site and bundles market-data tools into it; QuoteMedia sells the market-data widget you embed when your investor site is not on a platform that already includes one. They are alternatives at the tool level, and near-zero overlap is what that looks like once you measure it. Nothing in these numbers says either vendor is winning, and this page does not claim it.

There is no switching or migration table on this page, and that is a decision rather than a gap. Only 28 domains have stopped showing QuoteMedia since we began tracking in March 2026, 3.8% of the 745 we have ever seen, so there is little to explain in the first place. Google Analytics appears on 15 of those 28, which sounds like a destination until you check its base rate: Google Analytics sits on roughly three quarters of every base we measure, so 15 of 28 is below what it should reach by chance rather than above it, and a visitor counter cannot replace a quotes widget in any case. Nothing else reached 5 domains. No destination cleared its own base rate among QuoteMedia's live domains, so we publish nothing here rather than dress up noise.

Tech Stack of QuoteMedia-Powered Websites

Every percentage in this table divides by the 719 domains our live crawl currently answers for QuoteMedia, which is a different base from the 665 in the August rollup at the top of the page. That is why several counts below are larger than the headline. No row here is a share of 665.

The first group is labelled Host Site Stack on purpose, and it is the reading that settles what kind of technology this is. QuoteMedia is a widget dropped into somebody else's site, so what co-occurs with it is whatever the client already ran. The spread proves it: jQuery on 681 of the 719 domains, 94.71%, core-js on 383, 53.27%, FancyBox on 321, 44.65%, jQuery Migrate on 314, 43.67%, jQuery UI on 194, 26.98%, Modernizr on 169, 23.50%, Swiper on 142, 19.75%, and GSAP on 136, 18.92%. That is 75.79 percentage points of spread across eight front-end layers. A hosted platform produces near-total agreement on every layer because there is only one build: on our Q4 profile the equivalent co-occurrence rows sit between 98.76% and 99.79% of its own live domains. An embedded widget produces a spread, because it inherits as many builds as it has customers, and the version strings say the same thing from the other direction, v1.12.0 through v1.114.0 live on different customers on the same day.

Content delivery reads the same way. Cloudflare is on 366 of the 719 domains, 50.90%, cdnjs 178 (24.76%), Amazon CloudFront 168 (23.37%), jsDelivr 142 (19.75%) and Google Hosted Libraries 100 (13.91%). Cloudflare at half the base is a high reading in absolute terms and a weak one in this context: on a hosted platform the network provider is a single vendor decision and lands near total coverage. Half of the 719 means half of these sites chose it themselves.

Consent and privacy is where the base describes itself rather than the widget. OneTrust is on 129 of the 719 domains, 17.94%, CookieYes 82 (11.40%), Klaro 39 (5.42%), Cookie Control 30 (4.17%), Cookiebot 29 (4.03%) and Osano 23 (3.20%), 332 of the 719 domains between the six, 46.18%. OneTrust in front at 17.94% fits a base of listed companies: an issuer with public shareholders runs a formal privacy programme with a named owner and a budget line. The CRM group is thinner and points the same way, Salesforce on 79 of the 719 domains, 10.99%, and Zoho on 12, 1.67%.

Expert Analysis: QuoteMedia Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

David Thomson
David ThomsonCTO, TechnologyChecker

One rule, one host, and a widget that lands on the investor page

The rule on this profile is about as simple as detection gets: a script served from qmod.quotemedia.com. One host, owned by the vendor, loaded by the stock market data widget QuoteMedia sells. Nothing outside QuoteMedia serves that name, so the question here is never whether a detection is real. The question is what a detection is a detection of.

We loaded a sample of detected pages in a real browser to check. 7 of the 8 carried qmod.quotemedia.com, most of them repeatedly: 79 references on purecyclewater.com, 82 on another page in the sample. One, ir.cadencebank.com, rendered without it. Detection is page-level rather than domain-level, which is why our records point at investor-relations hosts rather than corporate apexes: investor.salemmedia.com, ir.carecloud.com, investors.fullhouseresorts.com, investor.genworth.com. In the named table below, 41 of the 50 detections sit on an ir, investor, investors or shareholder subdomain, and 48 of the 50 companies carry a Public Company type on their record. Two columns drawn from two different places, agreeing about what this base is.

That geometry also explains the enrichment rate. 606 of the 719 domains our live crawl currently answers for match to a company record, 84.3%. An investor-relations host carries the issuer's own brand in the domain name and resolves to the issuer; an arbitrary departmental subdomain often resolves to nothing at all. The practical effect is that one row here is usually one listed company, which is not true on every profile and is worth stating before anyone builds a target list on top of it.

The version strings are the finding

Here is the detail that decides how to read everything else on this page. Each site pins its own build of the widget, and the spread is wide. On a single day we saw v1.12.0, v1.45.0, v1.92.0, v1.94.0 and v1.114.0 running live on different customers. A hundred minor versions separate the oldest from the newest, and all of them were in production simultaneously.

A hosted platform pushes one version to every tenant, because the vendor owns the deployment. A widget pasted into a page template stays at whatever version was pasted. When five builds spanning v1.12.0 to v1.114.0 are all live on the same day, you are not looking at a platform. You are looking at a snippet somebody added once and never thought about again.

That reading has a direct consequence for the churn number. 28 of the 745 domains we have ever seen carrying QuoteMedia no longer show it, 3.8%, since tracking began in March 2026. On many client-side signals a low drop rate needs explaining. Here it is the obvious result of the version spread: nobody revisits an embed that works, so nothing removes it. When a detection does disappear, the investor page has usually been rebuilt or the issuer has stopped being listed. Treat 3.8% as attrition of pages, not as a renewal rate.

The base is a listed-company base, and it is bimodal

Now the part that decides whether this list is worth prospecting, because the count is small and the shape is what carries the value.

Start with size. 247 of the 601 companies with a size band, 41.10%, employ 50 people or fewer, with 11-50 the largest single band at 131 companies, 21.80%, and 1-10 next on 116, 19.30%. At the other end, 142 companies, 23.63%, employ more than 1,000, and 48 of those, 7.99% of the 601, sit at 10,001 or more. Between the two, the bands from 201 to 1,000 employees hold 104 companies, 17.30%. That trough is real and it is unusual. Most software bases have a fat middle because staff count drives seat count drives price. Nothing here scales with headcount. A junior mining company with eleven employees and a Fortune 500 both have exactly one investor page, and both need a share price on it.

The industry table says the same thing in different words. Life sciences is 91 of the 584 companies with a recorded industry, 15.58%, adding Biotechnology Research (43), Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (21), Biotechnology (14) and Medical Equipment Manufacturing (13). Resources is 76 companies, 13.02%, Oil and Gas (38) plus Mining (38). Financial Services leads any single label on 50, 8.56%, and Real Estate adds 23, 3.94%. Those four groups together are 240 of the 584, 41.10%. Clinical-stage biotechnology companies and junior explorers are the textbook pre-revenue listed issuers: they raise capital from public markets long before they sell anything, and the investor page is the surface their shareholders actually look at.

The age table closes the picture. The 2010s lead at 136 of the 427 companies with a founding year on file, 31.85%, and 260 companies, 60.89%, were founded since 2000. The pre-1960 group is real but small at 47, 11.01%, and it is where the household names sit: Emerson recorded at 1890, Becton Dickinson at 1897, VF Corp at 1899, all three on the 10,001+ band. Two purchase moments, one requirement. A 2021 listing needs quotes on its investor page from the week it prices. A company listed for a century has rebuilt that page several times and embedded the widget on its latest rebuild.

Canada and mining are one fact, not two

Canada holds 94 of the 593 companies we could place, 15.85%, second to the United States on 461, 77.74%. Together they are 555, 93.59%, which leaves 38 companies, 6.41%, for everywhere else. A Canadian share of roughly one row in six is worth stopping on, and it is not a separate observation from the industry table. QuoteMedia is a Canadian company. The TSX and the TSX Venture exchange are where junior mining and resource issuers list, and the TSX Venture in particular exists for exactly the kind of small pre-revenue issuer this base is full of. Mining at 38 companies, 6.51% of the 584 with an industry, and Canada at 15.85% of the 593 placed, are the same fact observed through two different columns.

If you are sizing a territory off this page, that pairing is the practical point. The Canadian slice is not a rounding of the American one. It is a distinct segment with its own exchange, its own disclosure regime and its own reason to buy, and it is bigger here than the entire rest of the world outside North America, which is 38 of the 593 placed companies, 6.41%.

Why the co-occurrence table is labelled Host Site Stack

On most profiles the technology stack section tells you what the customers chose. On this one it tells you what kind of thing QuoteMedia is, and the label on the first group is deliberate. QuoteMedia is a widget dropped into somebody else's site, so what co-occurs with it is whatever that site already ran.

The numbers, every one of them against the 719 domains our live crawl currently answers for rather than the 665 headline: jQuery on 681, 94.71%; core-js on 383, 53.27%; FancyBox on 321, 44.65%; jQuery Migrate on 314, 43.67%; jQuery UI on 194, 26.98%; Modernizr on 169, 23.50%; Swiper on 142, 19.75%; GSAP on 136, 18.92%. That is 75.79 percentage points of spread across eight front-end layers.

Compare the shape, not the values. On our Q4 profile, an investor-relations platform that hosts the whole site, the equivalent co-occurrence rows sit between 98.76% and 99.79% of its own live domains, because every client is on one build. QuoteMedia runs from 94.71% down to 18.92%, because every client is on their own. The spread is the deployment model, rendered as a table.

Content delivery reads the same way: Cloudflare on 366 of the 719 domains, 50.90%, cdnjs 178 (24.76%), Amazon CloudFront 168 (23.37%), jsDelivr 142 (19.75%), Google Hosted Libraries 100 (13.91%). On a hosted platform the network provider is one vendor decision and lands near total coverage. Half of the 719 is what customer choice looks like. The consent group is the place where the base describes itself cleanly: OneTrust on 129 of the 719, 17.94%, CookieYes 82 (11.40%), Klaro 39 (5.42%), Cookie Control 30 (4.17%), Cookiebot 29 (4.03%) and Osano 23 (3.20%), 332 domains between the six, 46.18%. Six vendors splitting a base is the signature of decisions being made. A single row sitting at near-total coverage would be the signature of a dependency being shipped, and there is no row like that anywhere on this page.

Two things this page will not tell you

The first is a market share. QuoteMedia sits at 0.004% of Web Analytics, rank 151 of 380, and there are two problems with that number which we would rather state than let travel on their own. Web Analytics holds 380 technologies with live domains, and our market-share API returns only the top 100 rows, so QuoteMedia does not appear in the published table at all; the rank of 151 was computed directly against the monthly rollup. Second, and more important, the category is the wrong shelf. Google Analytics, Cloudflare Browser Insights, Site Kit, WordPress.com Stats and Snowplow Analytics all count visitors. QuoteMedia publishes a share price to those visitors. TechnologyChecker.io carries a rank on every profile, and this one is a filing decision on our side rather than a finding about QuoteMedia's market.

The second absence is the migration table, and it is missing on purpose. Only 28 domains have stopped showing QuoteMedia in total. Google Analytics appears on 15 of them, which looks like a destination until you check the base rate: Google Analytics is on roughly three quarters of every base we measure, so 15 of 28 sits below what chance would produce, not above it, and a visitor counter cannot replace a quotes widget in any case. Nothing else reached 5 domains. No destination cleared its own base rate among QuoteMedia's live domains, so we publish nothing. A switching chart built on fifteen rows that fail their own test would look authoritative and mean nothing.

How to use the list

Three practical notes. First, read the named table as a sample of the large end rather than as the base. It is ordered by LinkedIn following, so CBRE, Dollar Tree, AMD, Emerson and Ingram Micro sit at the top while 247 of the 601 sized companies, 41.10%, employ fifty people or fewer. The prospects worth working on this list are mostly not the ones you have heard of.

Second, segment by exchange before you segment by anything else. Canada at 15.85% of the 593 placed companies and resources at 13.02% of the 584 with an industry overlap heavily, and a junior TSX Venture issuer is a different conversation from a New York Stock Exchange constituent with an investor-relations team of six. Third, do not read the Host Site Stack group as a buying signal. jQuery on 94.71% of the 719 is a statement about how old these investor pages are, not about a decision anyone made this year.

One last framing, and it is the reason the Q4 comparison is on this page at all. QuoteMedia and Q4 sell into the same room and almost never appear together: of Q4's 1,454 live domains and QuoteMedia's 719, exactly 2 run both, 0.14% and 0.28% of the two bases. Read that as a question about what the prospect already owns rather than as a scoreboard. If the investor site sits on a platform, the market-data tools arrived with it. If it does not, somebody has to embed them, and that is the opening this list actually describes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who uses QuoteMedia?

Publicly listed companies, plus financial media portals. Our live crawl finds QuoteMedia on 665 domains, and 606 of the 719 we currently answer for, 84.3%, resolve to an organisation. Named users include CBRE, Dollar Tree, AMD, Emerson, Becton Dickinson, Compass, VF Corp, Ingram Micro, Papa John's, Lyft, Maximus and Global Payments. 48 of the 50 companies in the named table carry a Public Company type on their record.

How many customers does QuoteMedia have?

We detect QuoteMedia on 665 domains as of our August 2026 rollup, and our live crawl currently answers for 719. Counts are domains, not accounts, seats or subscriptions, and one issuer can hold more than one if it runs several properties carrying the widget. A further 28 domains have stopped showing QuoteMedia since we began tracking in March 2026. Do not read 665 as a contract count.

What is QuoteMedia's market share?

QuoteMedia holds 0.004% of our Web Analytics category and ranks 151st of 380, on 665 domains. Two qualifications. Our market-share API returns only the top 100 rows, so QuoteMedia is not in that published table; the rank was computed directly against the monthly rollup. And the category is the wrong shelf, because this is a market-data widget, so 0.004% of it is bookkeeping rather than market position.

What are the best alternatives to QuoteMedia?

Not the five rows in the category table. Google Analytics, Cloudflare Browser Insights, Site Kit, WordPress.com Stats and Snowplow Analytics all count visitors, while QuoteMedia publishes market data to them. The nearest product we publish is Q4, an investor-relations platform that bundles market-data tools into a hosted site. Of Q4's 1,454 live domains and QuoteMedia's 719, exactly 2 run both, which is deployment model rather than rivalry.

Which countries use QuoteMedia the most?

The United States leads with 461 of the 593 companies we could place, 77.74%, then Canada on 94, 15.85%, and the United Kingdom on 10, 1.69%. The United States and Canada together are 555 companies, 93.59%. Everything after that is single figures: Israel 5, India 3, Ireland 3, Mexico 2, Peru 2, Australia 2. Canada's share tracks the TSX Venture listings behind the mining rows.

What size companies use QuoteMedia?

Both ends, and thinly in the middle. 247 of the 601 companies with a size band, 41.10%, employ 50 people or fewer, while 142, 23.63%, employ more than 1,000, and 48 of those, 7.99% of the 601, sit at 10,001+. The two bands between 201 and 1,000 employees hold 104 companies, 17.30%. A junior explorer and a Fortune 500 embed the same widget.

How old are companies that use QuoteMedia?

Recent, mostly. The 2010s lead at 136 of the 427 companies with a founding year, 31.85%, the 2000s follow on 89, 20.84%, and the 2020s add 35, 8.20%, so 260 companies, 60.89%, were founded since 2000. Pre-1960 still holds 47, 11.01%, which is the long-listed tail: Emerson recorded at 1890, Becton Dickinson at 1897 and VF Corp at 1899.

What is the ideal customer profile for QuoteMedia?

A listed issuer that needs a share price, chart and filings list on its investor page and is not on a hosted investor-relations platform. In this data that means 41.10% of the 601 sized companies employ 50 or fewer, 93.59% of the 593 we could place are in the United States or Canada, and 28.60% of the 584 with an industry are in life sciences or resources.

How is QuoteMedia detected on this page?

By one QuoteMedia-owned script host, qmod.quotemedia.com, loaded by the market-data widget. Nothing outside QuoteMedia serves that name, so false positives are not the risk here. We loaded a sample of detected pages in a real browser and 7 of the 8 carried it, most of them many times over, 79 references on purecyclewater.com and 82 on another. One, ir.cadencebank.com, rendered without it.

Does this count everyone who uses QuoteMedia?

No. It counts properties where the QuoteMedia widget host was present on a page we fetched. Detection is page-level, so an issuer whose investor page we did not reach that month is not in the 665. A QuoteMedia product bought without the embedded widget, a data connection into an internal system for instance, leaves no trace on this page at all.

What do the QuoteMedia version strings tell you?

That customers pin their own build and then leave it alone. On a single day we saw v1.12.0, v1.45.0, v1.92.0, v1.94.0 and v1.114.0 running on different customers. A hosted platform pushes one version to everyone; a widget pasted into a page template stays at whatever version was pasted. It is a set-and-forget embed, and the drop rate follows from that: 28 of the 745 domains we have ever seen, 3.8%.

Is QuoteMedia losing customers, and what does its 3.8% churn mean?

28 of the 745 domains we have ever seen carrying QuoteMedia no longer show it, 3.8%, since tracking began in March 2026. That is low for a client-side signal, and the version spread explains it: nobody revisits an embed that still works. When a detection does go away, the investor page has usually been rebuilt or the issuer has stopped being listed.

Why is there no switching or migration data for QuoteMedia?

Because nothing survives scrutiny. Only 28 domains have dropped QuoteMedia in total. Google Analytics appears on 15 of them, but it sits on roughly three quarters of every base we measure, so 15 of 28 is below its own base rate rather than above it, and a visitor counter cannot replace a quotes widget. Nothing else reached 5 domains. We publish nothing rather than dress up noise.

Why do the technology stack counts on this page exceed the 665 headline?

Because they divide by a different base. The 665 headline is our August 2026 rollup; the co-occurrence table divides by the 719 domains our live crawl currently answers for. So jQuery on 681 of the 719 domains, 94.71%, is not more than all of QuoteMedia's customers, it is most of a slightly larger set. Every percentage in that table names 719.
