Kajabi Usage Statistics
Kajabi reads 12,280 domains in June 2026, 12,603 in July, 14,288 in August and 15,670 in September. The August and September steps reflect changes on our side, both the domains we cover and the signals we detect Kajabi with, rather than a surge of new creators: 3,320 of today's 15,557 live domains (21.3%) were first detected in those two months. The set of domains we crawl also turns over every month, with dead sites dropping out and new ones added. Quote the September level. 983 domains have dropped Kajabi since we began tracking it in March 2026.

Which Countries Use Kajabi the Most?
Which countries use Kajabi the most? The United States, with 4,258 matched companies, ahead of the United Kingdom (674), Australia (589) and Canada (473). Add New Zealand's 49 and those five English-speaking countries hold 6,043 of the 8,359 matched companies. Northern Europe is the surprise: the Netherlands (156) and Norway (124) both count more Kajabi customers than Germany (113), based on our enriched company data.
Share of the 8,359 Kajabi domains we matched to a company record — 53.3% of the 15,670 we detect. Top 15 countries shown, so these do not sum to 100%. Domains with no matching company record are not represented here and skew small and independent.
Kajabi Market Share Among Ecommerce Platforms
What is Kajabi's market share? In our category table it holds 0.21% of Ecommerce Platforms and ranks 26th of the 720 technologies we track there, based on our crawl at TechnologyChecker.io. That filing puts it beside Shopify (2,297,523 domains) and WooCommerce (1,529,067), which sell physical goods, while Kajabi sells courses, memberships and coaching. Against the platforms it competes with, its 15,670 sites are more than three times Teachable's 4,400 and more than four times Thinkific's 3,408 in our Learning Management table.
Top Competitors by Market Share
Kajabi Customers by Company Size & Age
What size companies use Kajabi? Very small ones. 88.76% of matched companies with a known size employ 1 to 10 people and 9.74% employ 11 to 50 in our company data. Only 39 employ more than 200, and 10 more than 1,000. Those larger names use Kajabi for one programme each: Aardman for Aardman Academy, Marshall B. Ketchum University for continuing education at ce.ketchum.edu, and UDLAP for its Learnity course catalogue.
Company Size Distribution
Company Age (Founded Decade)
Four in five matched companies with a founding year started in 2010 or later: 47.37% in the 2010s and 33.49% in the 2020s. That is younger than the base of Thinkific customers, where 24.22% were founded in the 2020s. The older rows are institutions that added a course site, such as Marshall B. Ketchum University (1904 in our company data) and Northland Communications (1905).
What Industries Use Kajabi the Most?
Professional Training and Coaching leads at 22.17%, then Business Consulting and Services (9.94%) and Wellness and Fitness Services (8.96%). Add Education (5.97%) and E-Learning Providers (4.74%) and the teaching rows reach 32.88% of matched companies with a known industry. Retail isn't in the top ten at all, the plainest sign that the ecommerce label misleads. Across our enriched company records, these businesses sell what they know.
Coaching businesses that use Kajabi often run their whole site on it, as The Life Coach School does at thelifecoachschool.com and Bossbabe at bossbabe.com. Universities and seminaries on Kajabi use it for paid certificates and continuing education: Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary at cert.sebts.edu and Marshall B. Ketchum University at ce.ketchum.edu. Wellness and fitness brands on Kajabi sell classes as video, such as GKR Karate's online dojo at onlinedojo.gkrkarate.com.
Kajabi Alternatives & Competitors
The chart in this section compares Kajabi with Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix eCommerce, Squarespace Commerce and PrestaShop, because our category table files Kajabi with online stores. Buyers don't shortlist it that way. Its alternatives are the hosted course platforms, Teachable (4,400 domains) and Thinkific (3,408), creator suites such as Podia and Kartra, and LearnDash (18,936) for anyone who wants courses inside an existing WordPress site. Switching between them is too rare to chart: of the 769 domains where Kajabi is gone from every host since March 2026, one now runs Teachable and none runs Thinkific.

Tech Stack of Kajabi-Powered Websites
Across the 15,557 domains where Kajabi is live, the Facebook Pixel runs on 55.77%, and other paid-traffic tags follow: Google Ads conversion tracking on 6.61%, the LinkedIn Insight Tag on 4.15% and the TikTok Pixel on 2.61%. Email tools barely show, ActiveCampaign on 1.98% and Mailchimp on 1.1%, because every Kajabi plan sends marketing email itself. Deadline Funnel (4.51%) adds countdown timers to launches. We leave out Ruby on Rails (95.06%), Rudderstack (94.48%), Cloudflare and Wistia (55.22%) because Kajabi serves them to every site; its help centre says Kajabi hosts all course and page video with Wistia.

Expert Analysis: Kajabi Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

I analysed Kajabi against our September 2026 crawl. We find Kajabi on 15,670 sites, and 8,359 of them match a company record. Kajabi doesn't publish an account count. Its August 2026 data report says experts have earned more than $11.7 billion on the platform since 2010, so this page covers the part of that business you can see on the open web, one site at a time.
What we detect, and what the hosts show
We match Kajabi on three things: its _kjb_session cookie, the Kajabi JavaScript object and files from kajabi-cdn.com. All three come from Kajabi's own servers, so a match is a live Kajabi site. In a browser check of 24 random detected domains, all 23 that loaded were Kajabi sites. Our guide to technology detection methods covers how we tell a served platform from a pasted script.
The hosts are the interesting part. On 13,927 of the 15,557 domains where it is live, Kajabi serves the root or www address, so Kajabi is the whole website. 1,630 use it only on a subdomain, most often courses. (307), learn. (144), academy. (98) and members. (92). Another 116 still sit on Kajabi's default mykajabi.com address.
Sales signal: for most of this list, the website and the course platform are one purchase. Designers and agencies selling to these businesses have to work inside Kajabi's themes, and a pitch built around WordPress misses about nine in ten of them.
The chart's last two steps are our crawl
The usage chart reads 12,280 in June, 12,603 in July, 14,288 in August and 15,670 in September. 3,320 of today's live domains (21.3%) were first detected in August or September. Those steps reflect changes on our side, both the domains we cover and the signals we detect Kajabi with, and the set of domains we crawl turns over every month as dead sites drop out and new ones are added.
"A fifth of the Kajabi sites on this page were first detected in August or September. Some are new creators and some are sites our crawl hadn't reached before, and we can't split the two cleanly. The September level is the number I'd use." - Sophie Clarke, Product Marketing Manager at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: a site that is new to this list is usually an established Kajabi business, so don't pitch it as a customer still onboarding.
One-person expert businesses
88.76% of matched companies with a known size employ 1 to 10 people and 9.74% employ 11 to 50. Four in five with a founding year started in 2010 or later, and 33.49% in the 2020s alone. Professional Training and Coaching is the largest industry at 22.17%, then Business Consulting and Services (9.94%) and Wellness and Fitness Services (8.96%). These are people selling their own expertise.
Kajabi's own report points the same way. It puts the median lifetime earnings of an expert with at least one sale at $3,653, while 14% have passed $100,000. Our list has both ends: mostly small practices, and a minority of larger programmes such as Grant Cardone's training site, The Life Coach School, Aardman Academy and a seminary's certificates at cert.sebts.edu.
Sales signal: the buyer is the founder, so sell time saved or revenue added to a launch. For larger accounts, filter to the 122 companies above 50 staff and read the host: a training. or academy. subdomain points to a customer-education team.
English-speaking, with a Nordic outlier
The United States leads with 4,258 matched companies, then the United Kingdom (674), Australia (589) and Canada (473). With New Zealand's 49, those five countries hold 6,043 of the 8,359 matched companies. The outlier is northern Europe: the Netherlands has 156 and Norway 124, both ahead of Germany's 113, and Sweden adds 50.
Sales signal: if you sell to Kajabi users in Europe, start with the Netherlands and Norway, not Germany.
Filed with online stores, competing with course platforms
Our category table puts Kajabi in Ecommerce Platforms, 26th of 720 with 0.21%, which is why the comparison chart on this page shows Shopify and WooCommerce. Kajabi competes with course platforms, and there it is large: 15,670 sites against Teachable's 4,400 and Thinkific's 3,408 in our Learning Management table. LearnDash, on 18,936 domains, is the other route, a WordPress plugin for people who want to keep the site they have.
Switching is rare. Kajabi has gone from every host on 769 domains since March 2026 (983 dropped it on at least one host). Course platforms barely register as destinations: Podia 4, Skool 3, Teachable 1, Thinkific none. The largest group, 83 domains, now run HighLevel, the marketing platform built for agencies. But 190 domains run Kajabi and HighLevel side by side today, and 61.7% of domains that have ever run both still do, so the two are stacked more often than swapped.
"When a Kajabi site does leave, it rarely goes to another course platform. The most common place we find it next is HighLevel, and even that pair mostly runs side by side." - Sophie Clarke, Product Marketing Manager at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: when a Kajabi customer does add or move to another platform, our data points to all-in-one marketing suites far more than to Teachable. A Kajabi site that adds HighLevel is the account to watch.
What customers add to a Kajabi site
Part of the stack on a Kajabi site is Kajabi's own: Ruby on Rails on 95.06% of live domains, Rudderstack on 94.48%, Cloudflare, and Wistia on 55.22%, because Kajabi's help centre says it hosts all course and page video with Wistia. We leave those out of the stack table because no customer chose them.
The customer choices are about paid traffic. The Facebook Pixel runs on 55.77%, above the 42.66% on Thinkific schools, with Google Ads conversion tracking on 6.61%, the LinkedIn Insight Tag on 4.15% and the TikTok Pixel on 2.61%. Email tools are nearly absent: ActiveCampaign on 1.98% and Mailchimp on 1.1%, against 8.07% and 6.79% on Thinkific. Kajabi includes unlimited marketing email on every plan, which explains the gap. Deadline Funnel, on 4.51%, adds countdown timers to launches.
Sales signal: pitch ad and launch tools. More than half these sites already buy traffic from Meta, and Kajabi already fills the email slot.
What G2 reviewers say
Kajabi rates 4.1 out of 5 across 93 G2 reviews. The summary praises ease of use and having email, courses and the site in one place, and names customer support (4 mentions), cost (3) and customisation (3) as the complaints. Those counts are small, but the cost complaint fits our data: Basic costs $143 a month billed annually, and 88.76% of matched companies employ ten people or fewer. Kajabi's answer, on its pricing page, is that it takes no revenue share and replaces separate email, website and checkout tools. The near-absence of email tools on these sites backs that up.
Sales signal: the plan limits, 5 products and 2,500 contacts on Basic, are where small sellers feel the price. Anything that helps them earn enough to justify Growth, $199 a month billed annually, has a clear buyer.
Key takeaways
1. 15,670 sites and 8,359 companies, most of them running their whole website on Kajabi.
2. The Ecommerce label is a filing choice. Against course platforms, Kajabi is more than three times Teachable's 4,400 domains.
3. 88.76% of matched companies employ 1 to 10 people, led by coaching at 22.17%.
4. 21.3% of live domains were first detected in August or September 2026, so read the chart's rise as our coverage as much as adoption.
5. Paid social is the norm (Facebook Pixel on 55.77%), and email tools are rare because Kajabi sends email itself.
How to use this list
Filter on industry and size first, then read the host: a root domain means the whole business runs on Kajabi, while a courses. or academy. subdomain means a training programme beside a main site. Frequently Asked Questions
Who uses Kajabi?
Coaches, consultants, trainers and educators selling what they know. Our September 2026 crawl finds 15,670 sites running on Kajabi, 8,359 matched to a company, and 88.76% of those employ 1 to 10 people. Professional Training and Coaching is the largest industry at 22.17%. Larger users run one programme each, such as Aardman Academy at academy.aardman.com and UDLAP's Learnity catalogue.
How many customers does Kajabi have?
Kajabi doesn't publish a current account count. Its August 2026 data report says experts have earned more than $11.7 billion on Kajabi since 2010, across 101.0 million transactions. Our September 2026 crawl finds 15,670 live sites running on Kajabi, 8,359 matched to a company. That counts websites, so a business running two Kajabi sites counts twice. 983 domains have dropped Kajabi since March 2026.
What is Kajabi's market share?
Kajabi holds 0.21% of Ecommerce Platforms in our category table and ranks 26th of 720, but that label compares it with Shopify and WooCommerce, which sell physical goods. Against course platforms the picture changes: Kajabi's 15,670 sites are more than three times Teachable's 4,400 domains and more than four times Thinkific's 3,408 in our Learning Management table.
What are the best alternatives to Kajabi?
For a hosted course site, Teachable (4,400 domains in our crawl) and Thinkific (3,408) are the closest. Podia and Kartra sell similar all-in-one creator suites, and LearnDash (18,936) adds courses to an existing WordPress site. The online stores in our category chart, such as Shopify and WooCommerce, solve a different problem. Few sites switch: of 769 that dropped Kajabi since March 2026, one now runs Teachable.
Which countries use Kajabi the most?
United States leads with 4,258 matched Kajabi domains, followed by United Kingdom (674), Australia (589), Canada (473), Netherlands (156). These are counts within the 8,359 domains we could match to a company record, not the full detected base.
What size companies use Kajabi?
