Companies Using Uber for Business
Our October 2026 crawl finds an Uber for Business verification record in the DNS of 6,232 domains. It's a TXT record, uber-domain-verification= followed by a code, that an admin publishes while setting up single sign-on, so that staff on the company's email domain can be given business accounts. So these are organisations with an Uber for Business account, not sites running Uber, and the count is a floor: Uber says over 200,000 companies use the product. Below are the companies that use Uber for Business, including Deloitte, Target, Hilton and Morgan Stanley.
The base is small and young. 64.33% of matched companies with a known headcount have 50 or fewer staff, and 57.86% of those with a founding year started in 2010 or later. The United States has 1,918 of the 5,521 companies we matched, with Brazil (603) second. Our data files Uber under Booking & Reservations, but we don't publish a share there, because that table is restaurant and hotel booking widgets.

Uber for Business Usage Statistics
How many organisations use Uber for Business? Our count reads 3,374 domains in June 2026, 4,507 in July, 4,904 in August, 5,779 in September and 6,232 in October. Part of that rise is ours: the set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with dead domains dropping out and new ones added, and our detection widens over time. Every DNS record we compared jumped from June to July. After July the paths split. LogMeIn's record grew 4.84% and Amazon Business's 9.37%, while Uber's grew 38.27%, and 1,848 of the 2,461 live domains where it first appeared after June were sites we'd already crawled for weeks. That part looks like new verifications.

Which Countries Use Uber for Business the Most?
Which countries use Uber for Business the most? The United States, with 1,918 matched companies, only 34.74% of the 5,521 we matched. Brazil is second with 603, ahead of Australia (468), the United Kingdom (384) and Canada (258). Mexico (193) and Colombia (51) take Latin America to 847, and English-speaking markets hold 3,123. These counts cover matched companies, not every domain carrying the record.
Share of the 5,521 Uber for Business domains we matched to a company record — 88.6% of the 6,232 we detect. Top 15 countries shown, so these do not sum to 100%. Domains with no matching company record are not represented here and skew small and independent.
Uber for Business Market Share Among Booking & Reservations
What is Uber for Business's market share? We don't publish one. Our data files Uber under Booking & Reservations at TechnologyChecker.io, where its 6,232 domains would top a table of restaurant and hotel booking widgets such as Cloudbeds (5,015), FoodBooking (4,924) and OpenTable (4,149). That ranking would set a corporate rides and meals account against table-booking buttons, so it means nothing. The real rivals, such as Lyft Business, leave no signal we detect. Read 6,232 as an absolute count.
Uber for Business Customers by Company Size & Age
What size companies use Uber for Business? Mostly small ones. 34.59% of matched companies with a known headcount have ten or fewer employees and 29.75% have 11 to 50, so 64.33% sit at 50 or under. That's unexpected for a record Uber's docs tie to single sign-on. The enterprise end is a small share but a long list: 369 matched companies employ more than 1,000 people and 72 more than 10,000.
Company Size Distribution
Company Age (Founded Decade)
The 2010s are the largest founding decade at 38.06%, and the 2020s add 19.8%, so 57.86% of matched companies with a known founding year (2,606 of 4,504) started in 2010 or later. Only 25.02% predate 2000. On LogMeIn's page, another domain-verification record, the 2020s are 2.65%. Young companies with a rides or meals budget and someone who can edit DNS make up the core of this list.
What Industries Use Uber for Business the Most?
IT services and IT consulting leads at 8.23%, then software development (7.32%), business consulting (3.74%), financial services (3.4%) and advertising services (3.33%), based on our enriched company data. The top ten industries add up to 38.87%, so this isn't a vertical product. What the leaders share is staff who travel to clients or work late.
Professional services firms using Uber for Business include Deloitte, RSM US, ERM and Norton Rose Fulbright. Banks and insurers on Uber for Business include Morgan Stanley, RBC, ING, BNY, MetLife and Progressive. Restaurant groups using Uber for Business include Restaurant Brands International and its Popeyes brand, each with the record on its own domain.
Tech Stack of Uber for Business-Powered Websites
These percentages are of the 6,363 live Uber for Business domains in our clean set. Mail is split between the two big suites: Microsoft 365 runs on 38.83% and Google Workspace on 31.76%, a far bigger Google share than on LogMeIn's page (13.04%). The 33.76% row labelled Apple iCloud Mail is mostly Apple's domain-verification record for Apple Business, not mail. Zoho (5.97%) edges Salesforce (5.81%), and Amazon Business, another verified business account, is on 3.83%.

Expert Analysis: Uber for Business Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

I analyse technology adoption data at TechnologyChecker.io. Uber for Business leaves a public trace once a company ties it to its own sign-on. When an admin sets that up, Uber's developer docs have them add the company's domains, publish a TXT record, uber-domain-verification= followed by a code, and click "Check DNS record". Our October 2026 crawl finds that record on 6,232 domains. We matched 5,521 of the 6,363 in our clean live set to a company, an 86.77% rate, high enough to read these as operating businesses rather than parked or personal domains.
What the record measures
It proves an organisation has an Uber for Business account and claimed its email domain. Uber's domain verification page says this lets admins provision business accounts for anyone with an address on that domain, and the SSO guide says only accounts on verified domains can use single sign-on. Plenty of accounts never get that far. Uber's own overview claims over 200,000 companies, including more than half of the Fortune 500. Our list holds 6,232 domains, and 72 matched companies with more than 10,000 staff.
Sales signal: read 6,232 as a floor on accounts where IT got involved. A company that verified its domain has an admin and, because the record comes from sign-on setup, usually an identity provider, which makes it a better lead for travel, expense and HR tools than an account where three people expense the odd ride.
Why the count nearly doubled
The chart reads 3,374 domains in June, 4,507 in July, 4,904 in August, 5,779 in September and 6,232 in October, up 84.71%. Some of that is ours. The set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with dead domains dropping out and new ones added, and our detection widens over time. You can see it in July, when every DNS record I compared jumped: LogMeIn by 10.37%, Amazon Business by 15.62% and Uber by 33.58%.
After July the paths split. From July to October LogMeIn's record grew 4.84% (8,602 to 9,018) and Amazon Business's 9.37% (8,194 to 8,962). Uber's grew 38.27% (4,507 to 6,232). Then I checked where the new rows came from. Of the 2,461 live Uber domains whose record first appeared from July onward, 1,848 were sites we'd already been crawling for at least 20 days without it. For LogMeIn it was 213 of 993, and for Amazon Business 536 of 1,482.
"Three in four of Uber's new rows since July landed on sites we already knew. For LogMeIn it was one in five. Our crawl explains the July step for both records; it doesn't explain the gap after it." - Emma Davies, Data Analyst at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: part of this is fresh adoption, so recency matters. A domain that added the record in September or October has an admin who has just set up Uber for Business sign-on, and that's the moment to sell the tools around it.
Who verifies a domain
I expected a list of enterprises, since the record comes from sign-on setup. It isn't one. 34.59% of matched companies with a known headcount have ten or fewer employees and 29.75% have 11 to 50. 57.86% of those with a founding year (2,606 of 4,504) started in 2010 or later, 19.8% in the 2020s alone. Compare LogMeIn, also a domain-verification record: there, ten or fewer is 17.27% and the 2020s are 2.65%. Uber's list looks like startups and agencies with a rides or meals budget and someone who can edit DNS.
The big names are there too. Deloitte, Target, Hilton, Morgan Stanley, L'Oréal, Walgreens and American Airlines all carry the record on their main domain. So do Restaurant Brands International on rbi.com and Popeyes on popeyes.com, two verifications inside one group. At that size one record may stand for a single program, say executive cars, rather than every employee.
Sales signal: split the list. The 3,521 matched companies at 50 staff or under sign up with a credit card and decide fast. The 369 above 1,000 staff have procurement, so lead with integrations and policy control.
Where they are and what they do
IT services and IT consulting leads at 8.23%, then software development (7.32%), business consulting (3.74%), financial services (3.4%) and advertising services (3.33%). The top ten add up to 38.87%, so it isn't a vertical product, but the leaders share staff who travel to clients or work late. Geography is the bigger surprise. The United States has 1,918 of the 5,521 matched companies, only 34.74%, against 63.87% on LogMeIn's page. Brazil is second with 603, ahead of Australia (468) and the United Kingdom (384), and Mexico (193) and Colombia (51) take Latin America to 847.
Sales signal: a Latin American campaign has a real list here. Brazil alone holds more matched companies than the United Kingdom, so a Portuguese-language sequence is worth building before a UK one.
Share, rivals and churn
We don't publish a market share. Our data files Uber under Booking & Reservations, where its 6,232 domains would top a table of restaurant and hotel booking tools such as Cloudbeds (5,015), FoodBooking (4,924) and OpenTable (4,149). Uber for Business doesn't compete in that market. Its real rivals, Lyft Business for rides and the corporate accounts of food-delivery apps for meals, leave no signal we detect, so there's no competitor table on this page.
Exits are rare, and that's the instrument. 84 domains have lost the record since we began tracking it in March 2026, 1.35% of today's count, and 5 of those still carry it on another hostname. A company that stops using Uber for Business has no reason to clean up a TXT record.
"Low churn on a verification record tells you the record stays put, not that the customer does. For Uber, the useful signal is the date the record appears." - Emma Davies, Data Analyst at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: don't build a switching story from this page. A rival can still use the list to find companies that have committed to a managed rides program, then pitch on price or coverage.
What else runs on these domains
Percentages here are of the 6,363 live domains in our clean set. Mail is split between the two big suites: Microsoft 365 runs on 38.83% and Google Workspace on 31.76%, far more Google than on LogMeIn's page (13.04%). The 33.76% labelled Apple iCloud Mail is mostly Apple's verification record for Apple Business, not mail. In CRM, Zoho (5.97%) edges Salesforce (5.81%). Amazon Business, another verified business account, shows up on 3.83%. Uber's pricing page lists expense integrations with Ramp, Navan and SAP Concur, but those run inside the company where a crawl can't see them.
Sales signal: for an expense or procurement tool, a domain with both Uber for Business and Amazon Business verified belongs to a company that already buys business services through managed accounts. That 3.83% overlap is a short list worth working first.
Key takeaways
1. 6,232 domains carry the record in October 2026, a floor on accounts, with 5,521 matched to a company.
2. Since July it has grown 38.27%, against 4.84% for LogMeIn's record, and three in four new rows are on sites we already crawled.
3. Small and young: 64.33% have 50 or fewer staff and 57.86% were founded in 2010 or later.
4. Less American than LogMeIn's record: the US holds 34.74% of matched companies against 63.87%, and Brazil is second.
5. No share and no rivals, because our data files Uber with booking widgets and doesn't detect Lyft Business.
How to work this list
Start with the domains that added the record most recently, then split by size: under 50 staff for self-serve offers, over 1,000 for integration-led deals. A first line for an expense tool: "You've just set up Uber for Business sign-on on your domain, so rides and meals now run through company policy; here's how other teams reconcile them without chasing receipts." Frequently Asked Questions
Who uses Uber for Business?
Mostly small, young companies, plus a long list of big brands. Our October 2026 crawl finds Uber's domain-verification record on 6,232 domains, 5,521 matched to a company. 64.33% of those with a known headcount have 50 or fewer staff, and IT services (8.23%) and software (7.32%) lead. Named accounts include Deloitte, Target, Hilton, Morgan Stanley and L'Oréal.
How many customers does Uber for Business have?
Uber says over 200,000 companies, including more than half of the Fortune 500. We count 6,232 domains carrying its verification record in October 2026, 5,521 matched to a company. That's a floor, because only accounts that verify a domain, a step Uber's docs tie to single sign-on, publish the record. 72 matched companies employ more than 10,000 people.
What is Uber for Business's market share?
We don't publish one. Our data files Uber under Booking & Reservations, where its 6,232 domains would rank first against restaurant and hotel booking widgets such as Cloudbeds (5,015) and OpenTable (4,149). That compares a corporate rides and meals account with table-booking buttons. The real rivals, such as Lyft Business, leave no signal we detect, so read 6,232 as an absolute count.
Which countries use Uber for Business the most?
The United States, with 1,918 of the 5,521 companies we matched, only 34.74%. Brazil is second with 603, then Australia (468), the United Kingdom (384), Canada (258) and Mexico (193). Brazil, Mexico and Colombia together hold 847. These counts cover matched companies, not every domain with the record, and they're far less American than LogMeIn's 63.87%.
What size companies use Uber for Business?
Small ones, mostly. 34.59% of matched companies with a known headcount have ten or fewer employees and 29.75% have 11 to 50, so 64.33% sit at 50 or under. The enterprise end is a small share but a long list: 369 matched companies employ more than 1,000 people and 72 more than 10,000, including Deloitte, Target and Hilton.
How old are companies that use Uber for Business?
Young. The 2010s are the largest founding decade at 38.06%, and the 2020s add 19.8%, so 57.86% of matched companies with a known founding year (2,606 of 4,504) started in 2010 or later. Only 25.02% predate 2000. On LogMeIn's page, which counts another domain-verification record, the 2020s account for just 2.65%.
What is the ideal customer profile for Uber for Business?
The ideal Uber for Business customer is: Company Size: 1-10 employees (34.59%), Location: US (34.74%), then Brazil, Australia, UK, Industry: IT services, software, consulting, Founded: 2010s (38.06%); 58% since 2010, Signal: Domain verified for Uber for Business SSO — based on our analysis of 5,521 enriched companies at TechnologyChecker.io.
What are the best alternatives to Uber for Business?
For business rides the obvious one is Lyft Business; for office meals, the corporate accounts of food-delivery apps. Uber's pricing page lists expense integrations with Ramp, Navan and SAP Concur, which companies use alongside it rather than instead. We don't detect Lyft Business or any of those tools, so this page has no competitor table and no switching data.
Is Uber for Business free?
To sign up, yes. Uber's pricing page says a company pays only for its team's rides and meals, with no upfront costs or minimum spend, and can pay per trip or order or ask for a monthly bill. That applies to accounts opened on Uber's website or through sales; use via the API or integration partners may carry extra fees. Checked 11 October 2026.
Does Uber for Business cost more?
Uber's help page says business ride prices are estimated from demand, traffic and tolls, and that specific business products may cost more when they add an offering such as priority pickup. Uber Business Comfort and Uber Business Black are its premium ride options. We can't measure fares; our data shows which organisations hold an account, not what they pay.
What is the difference between Uber and Uber for Business?
Uber for Business is a company account on top of the same apps. Staff ride and order in the Uber and Uber Eats apps they already use, while the company sets policies, budgets and billing from a web dashboard and gets monthly reports. Employees link their personal Uber account to a business profile; Uber tells them not to create a second account.
Can you have a business Uber account?
Yes, as a business profile on your existing account. Uber's help page tells employees to accept the invitation sent to their work email and sign in with their personal Uber account, by link, QR code or PIN. It all runs in the same Uber app. A personal payment method is still needed to verify the account, even when the company covers every trip.
How do I set up Uber for Business?
Uber's sign-up page asks for a company email domain, since personal addresses may need extra checks, a valid credit card, with monthly billing in many countries for businesses that qualify, and web access to the dashboard. To add single sign-on, an admin then verifies the company's domains with a DNS record. That record is what our crawl detects.
How do you verify a domain for Uber for Business?
In the dashboard, open Settings, then Integrations, and choose Manage SSO. Add the company's domains, click Verify, publish the TXT record Uber gives you in your DNS, then click Check DNS record; the status changes to Verified. Uber's developer docs say only accounts on verified domains can use single sign-on. We detect that uber-domain-verification record.
Why is Uber for Business growing so fast?
Partly our crawl, partly real. Our count rose from 3,374 domains in June 2026 to 6,232 in October. The domains we crawl turn over every month and our detection widens, so every DNS record we compared jumped in July. After July, LogMeIn's record grew 4.84% and Uber's 38.27%, mostly on sites we'd already crawled, which points to new verifications.
