Companies Using FastPixel

Our October 2026 crawl finds FastPixel on 696 live domains. A domain counts when its pages load FastPixel's stats script from api.fastpixel.io, which the plugin adds to the optimised pages it serves. FastPixel is a cloud page-speed service for WordPress from the team behind ShortPixel. Below is the list of companies that use FastPixel, with size, country, industry and stack: Implico, Global Nature Fund, TalentLaunch and Five Rivers Cattle Feeding are on it.

It's small. FastPixel ranks 9th of the 12 tools in Caching with 0.02%. When I loaded every domain on 16 October, 454 of the 517 pages that answered (87.8%) were serving FastPixel-optimised pages, so the working base is a little under the headline. Germany leads with 140 matched companies against 123 in the United States, and 145 domains sit on one German WordPress host, Raidboxes.

FastPixel Usage Statistics

FastPixel reads 601 domains in June 2026, 628 in July, 648 in August, 645 in September and 696 in October. At this size a few dozen domains is real movement, but read it with both causes in mind: the set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with dead sites dropping out and new ones added, and our detection widens over time. Since we began tracking FastPixel on 17 March 2026, 567 domains have dropped it from at least one hostname, a high number next to 696 live, and 42 of them still run it on another hostname.

Which Countries Use FastPixel the Most?

Which countries use FastPixel the most? Germany, with 140 matched companies, ahead of the United States (123). The United Kingdom and France have 30 each and the Netherlands 23. Germany's lead is unusual for a WordPress speed tool, and hosting explains part of it: 145 FastPixel domains, mostly German .de sites, resolve to Raidboxes, a German managed WordPress host. These counts cover the 465 domains we matched to a company.

FastPixel Market Share Among Caching

What is FastPixel's market share? 0.02% of Caching, 9th of the 12 tools we track, based on our crawl at TechnologyChecker.io. The table isn't like-for-like: LiteSpeed Cache (1,560,073 domains) and Varnish (455,550) include cache headers that hosts and CDNs send by default. The fair comparison is with other optimisation services site owners sign up for, and there FastPixel's 696 sits far behind NitroPack's 36,257.

FastPixel Customers by Company Size & Age

What size companies use FastPixel? Small ones. 67.45% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 22.95% have 11 to 50, so 90.4% have 50 or fewer staff. Only 2 have more than 1,000 employees. FastPixel prices by pageviews, and this is the size of business that fits its free and entry plans.

Company Size Distribution

Company Age (Founded Decade)

How old are companies that use FastPixel? The largest group was founded in the 2010s (38.27%), then the 2020s (23.05%) and the 2000s (17.7%). Only 243 matched companies list a founding year, so treat the split as a rough shape. The 2020s share is higher than NitroPack's 14.46%, which fits a service that only reached WordPress.org in 2024.

What Industries Use FastPixel the Most?

Advertising Services leads at 7.02%, LinkedIn's label for agencies, then Construction (6.02%), Business Consulting and Services (5.26%) and IT Services and IT Consulting (3.76%), based on our enriched company data. Agencies at the top suggest that many FastPixel installs are chosen by whoever builds the site. The top ten industries cover 39.62% of matched companies, from roofers to fitness studios.

Agencies on FastPixel include Vicinity Studio, a Singapore video producer. Non-profits using FastPixel include Global Nature Fund in Germany and Another Chance House, whose site says it helps 'one man at a time'.

FastPixel Alternatives & Competitors

FastPixel shares few sites with the bigger tools. 43 FastPixel domains also run LiteSpeed Cache today and 25 send Varnish headers, both usually from the host. Only 1 runs WP Rocket as well, out of 46 ever seen with both, and none runs NitroPack. That makes WP Rocket the one rival FastPixel replaces outright rather than sitting beside.

FastPixel Customer Migration

FastPixel's one clear corridor runs from WP Rocket. Since tracking began, 31 domains dropped WP Rocket and now run FastPixel, 24 of them in the last 90 days and 10 in the last 30, while 5 went the other way. These are domains, not companies, but at FastPixel's size 31 is meaningful: about one in twenty-two of its live domains came from WP Rocket in our data, and both are full-site optimisers, so this is a real swap.

Expert Analysis: FastPixel Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

Mehmet Suleyman
Mehmet SuleymanCEO & Co-founder, TechnologyChecker

FastPixel is the smallest tool I looked at in our October 2026 Caching data, and small lists reward checking every row. A domain counts here when its pages load FastPixel's stats script from api.fastpixel.io, which the plugin adds to the optimised pages it serves. That gives 696 live domains, 465 matched to a company, 9th of 12 in Caching. FastPixel comes from the team behind ShortPixel, whose image service it uses, and its own site says it's made in Bucharest. It reached WordPress.org in May 2024.

Is the account still working?

The stats script can't answer that: it returns the same empty response for any URL I tried, customer or not. So I loaded every domain instead. 517 answered, and of those, 454 (87.8%) served pages FastPixel had optimised, with its script and images rewritten through its CDN. Another 33 (6.4%) sent FastPixel's cache header without an optimised page, which looks like an install that isn't processing pages, whether from a cache miss or an exhausted free allowance. 27 showed no FastPixel trace and 3 were dead or placeholder pages. Most of the 171 that didn't answer timed out on our side, so I can't score them.

Applied to the headline, that suggests about 600 working FastPixel sites. It's below 696, but well above anything that would change how this page reads.

Sales signal: for a list this size, check each domain before outreach. About one in eight that loaded wasn't serving an optimised page.

Growth, and a lot of churn

The chart reads 601 in June, 628 in July, 648 in August, 645 in September and 696 in October. Part of the movement is ours: the set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with dead sites dropping out and new ones added, and our detection widens over time. The churn is the striking part. 567 domains have dropped FastPixel from at least one hostname since 17 March 2026, and only 42 of those still run it on another hostname. For a base of 696, that's a lot of sites passing through.

"FastPixel is the rare small tool that takes sites from a much bigger one. In our data, 31 domains left WP Rocket for FastPixel and 5 went back." - Mehmet Suleyman, CEO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io

Sales signal: FastPixel users try things. The 567 domains that dropped it are worth a look for any speed tool or host, because their owners already went shopping once.

A German-led customer base

Germany has 140 matched companies, more than the United States (123). The United Kingdom and France have 30 each and the Netherlands 23. Hosting is part of the reason. I resolved every domain, and 145 (20.83%) point at servers registered to Raidboxes, a managed WordPress host in Münster, most of them German .de sites. The ones I loaded each carry their own FastPixel cache header, so this isn't one account; it looks like agencies on Raidboxes recommending FastPixel to their clients.

Sales signal: German WordPress agencies look like FastPixel's main channel. If you sell to agencies in Germany, Austria or Switzerland, the FastPixel list tells you which ones already buy performance tooling for clients.

Small firms, built by agencies

67.45% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 90.4% have 50 or fewer; only 2 have more than 1,000. Advertising Services leads the industries at 7.02%, LinkedIn's label for agencies, then Construction (6.02%) and Business Consulting and Services (5.26%). Among the 243 companies with a founding year, 23.05% were founded in the 2020s. The better-known names are Implico, the Hamburg maker of SAP software for downstream energy logistics, Five Rivers Cattle Feeding, Global Nature Fund and TalentLaunch.

Sales signal: the buyer is usually the agency, not the end client. Pitch the studio that maintains twenty small-business sites, not each business.

The WP Rocket corridor

This is the one finding I'd put in front of a FastPixel competitor. 31 domains dropped WP Rocket and now run FastPixel, 24 of them in the last 90 days, against 5 that went the other way. Of 46 domains ever seen with both, only 1 runs both today, so these are replacements, not stacked tools. Both products optimise the whole page, which makes it a like-for-like swap. FastPixel shares more sites with LiteSpeed Cache (43) and Varnish (25), but those caches usually come from the host.

"Thirty-one domains is small. But they all moved the same way, from a paid plugin that runs on your own server to a cloud service with a free tier." - Mehmet Suleyman, CEO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io

Sales signal: for WP Rocket, FastPixel is a small leak that runs mostly one way, 31 out and 5 back. For FastPixel, WP Rocket's base of 718,843 domains in our caching table is the obvious prospect list.

The stack around it

Our WordPress rule fires on 77.26% of FastPixel domains; the rest are WordPress sites that hide the usual markers. Elementor runs on 33.97% and Divi on 18.8%, more than three times Divi's 5.64% on NitroPack's domains. Nginx answers for 38.78% and Cloudflare fronts 24.05%. Kinsta hosts 4.23%. None of this is a platform bundle; it's the toolkit of agencies that build on Divi and Elementor.

Sales signal: Divi and Elementor add-on sellers reach the same agencies FastPixel does.

What reviewers say

On WordPress.org, FastPixel has 50 ratings, 48 of them five-star, against 4,000+ active installations. That's a strong score on a small base. Pricing helps explain who signs up: a free plan for 1,000 pageviews a month on one site, then Plan A at $8.33 a month billed yearly for 300,000 pageviews on three sites (checked 16 October 2026). It's cheap enough for an agency to roll out across clients.

Sales signal: price isn't the lever against FastPixel. Speed results and agency tooling are.

Key takeaways

  • 696 live domains, 0.02% of Caching, 9th of 12; about 87.8% of the pages that loaded were serving FastPixel-optimised pages.
  • Germany (140) leads the United States (123), and 145 domains sit on Raidboxes.
  • 31 domains moved from WP Rocket to FastPixel, against 5 the other way.
  • 90.4% of matched companies have 50 or fewer staff, and agencies lead the industry list.
  • 567 domains have dropped FastPixel since March 2026, so the base turns over fast.

Sales applications

Outreach: "Your site runs FastPixel, so speed matters to you. We help [agencies or site owners] with [your offer], and it works alongside FastPixel's cloud optimisation."

Targeting: on TechnologyChecker.io, filter FastPixel domains to Germany, Austria and Switzerland and to Advertising Services, then group by agency where the footer credits one.

Competitive angle: NitroPack and WP Rocket can pitch FastPixel's leavers; FastPixel can pitch WP Rocket's base with its own corridor as proof.

The full list of 696 FastPixel domains, with 465 matched to a company, is on TechnologyChecker.io.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who uses FastPixel?

Mostly small businesses and the agencies that build their WordPress sites, with Germany as the largest market. Our October 2026 crawl finds FastPixel on 696 live domains, and 67.45% of matched companies have 10 or fewer staff. Named users include Implico, Global Nature Fund, TalentLaunch, Five Rivers Cattle Feeding and NEXEA, the Malaysian venture firm.

How many customers does FastPixel have?

WordPress.org lists FastPixel with 4,000+ active installations. Our October 2026 crawl finds it live on 696 domains, 465 matched to a company. When we loaded every domain on 16 October, 454 of the 517 pages that answered (87.8%) were serving FastPixel-optimised pages, so the working base is a little below 696. It's a small, young service.

What is FastPixel's market share?

0.02% of Caching, 9th of the 12 tools we track, on 696 domains. LiteSpeed Cache leads with 55.18%, then WP Rocket (25.43%), Varnish (16.11%) and NitroPack (1.28%). The leaders' counts include cache headers hosts send automatically, so the fairer comparison is NitroPack, another cloud optimisation service, which has 36,257 domains.

How does FastPixel work?

Optimised pages also load a small stats script from api.fastpixel.io, which is the signal our crawl detects.
