Companies Using Beamer
Beamer is the little bell or sidebar where a software company posts what's new. Our October 2026 crawl finds it on 604 domains. Our catalog files it under Feature Flags, but Beamer doesn't switch features on or off. It announces them. Below is the list of companies that use Beamer, including Mews, Paddle, Usercentrics, Sauce Labs and TaxDome, each checked by hand.
That count is after one large correction. Our crawl first found Beamer on 866 domains, but 220 of them were IT support portals built on CloudRadial, and every one carried CloudRadial's own Beamer feed, so the IT firm behind the portal never chose Beamer. We removed those, 24 more pages on other platforms that do the same, 15 dead installs and 3 parked or gambling pages.
What's left is software companies telling users about releases. We read 306 separate Beamer accounts on 340 of the 604 domains, and 279 of those accounts sit on a single site.

Beamer Usage Statistics
Beamer reads 604 domains in October 2026, and the chart starts there because the cleaned count can only be measured on the current crawl. Earlier monthly totals included the CloudRadial portals we removed. Since we started tracking Beamer on 16 March 2026, 90 domains have dropped it, and 11 of those still run it on another hostname.

Which Countries Use Beamer the Most?
Which countries use Beamer the most? The United States, with 130 matched companies, then the United Kingdom (28), Brazil (15), Canada (15) and India (14). Brazil's place stands out: Gupy, Iugu, Icatu Seguros and Coremma all run Beamer there. Spain (12), France (11) and the Netherlands (11) put continental Europe close behind.
Share of the 357 Beamer domains we matched to a company record — 59.1% of the 604 we detect. Top 15 countries shown, so these do not sum to 100%. Domains with no matching company record are not represented here and skew small and independent.
Beamer Market Share Among Feature Flags
What is Beamer's market share? 1.31% of our Feature Flags category, 3rd of the 4 tools we track there, on 604 domains in October 2026, based on our live crawl at TechnologyChecker.io. The table mixes two jobs. LaunchDarkly (44,398 domains) and Flagsmith (673) decide which users get a feature; Beamer and LaunchNotes (37) tell users it shipped. Against the one other announcement tool in the table, Beamer is about 16 times larger.
Top Competitors by Market Share
Beamer Customers by Company Size & Age
What size companies use Beamer? Small ones. 41.48% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 29.26% have 11 to 50, so 70.74% have 50 staff or fewer. Another 19.89% have 51 to 200. Only 7 companies have more than 1,000 staff, among them the Brazilian insurer Icatu Seguros and the hospitality software company Mews.
Company Size Distribution
Company Age (Founded Decade)
Two in three matched companies with a known founding year date from the 2010s (67.15%). The 2020s (14.8%) and 2000s (13%) are well behind. That fits a tool for software companies that already have a product and enough users to need a changelog.
What Industries Use Beamer the Most?
Software Development leads at 27.17%, then Technology, Information and Internet (10.4%), based on our enriched company data. Together that's 37.57% of matched companies with a known industry. IT Services and IT Consulting (7.23%) and Advertising Services (6.07%) follow, and financial services (3.47%) and e-learning (3.18%) show Beamer inside customer-facing apps outside pure software.
Software companies using Beamer often run it as a public release-notes page on their own subdomain: releases.mews.com for Mews, updates.paddle.com for Paddle and changelog.saucelabs.com for Sauce Labs. Financial services companies on Beamer include Iugu, on its help centre, and Icatu Seguros, on its portal for insurance brokers. Learning and community sites using Beamer include Sketchy and the Product Marketing Alliance, according to our enriched company data.
Beamer Alternatives & Competitors
Beamer's real rivals aren't the feature-flag tools in this table. LaunchDarkly (44,398 domains) and Flagsmith (673) decide which users see a feature, while Beamer announces it. LaunchNotes (37) is the only other release-communication tool here, so the table isn't like-for-like. The pages that rank for "beamer alternatives" are written by changelog and feedback vendors such as Frill, Sleekplan and ProductLift, and feedback boards like Canny cover part of the same job.

How We Counted Beamer Customers
A domain counts here if a page on it loads Beamer's embed script from app.getbeamer.com or sets up Beamer's configuration object. That catches both forms of the product: the widget inside an app or website, and the hosted changelog page a company points at Beamer from its own subdomain (updates., changelog., releases.). 63 of the domains on this page are hosted changelog pages of that kind.
Our crawl found Beamer live on 866 domains. We removed 3 parked or gambling pages by title, then 259 more where the site owner doesn't hold the Beamer account or the install no longer works:
- 220 CloudRadial portals. CloudRadial sells managed service providers a client portal, and each portal carries CloudRadial's own Beamer feed (product ID DjYMYPMX42643, which Beamer's configuration service ties to updates.cloudradial.com). 210 showed that ID and 202 point their DNS at CloudRadial's servers.
- 24 pages on other platforms that run their own feed on their clients' sites: Lapzo's learning sites (13), GoToMyAccounts billing portals (9) and Cut+Dry ordering pages (2).
- 15 dead installs: 11 custom domains that no longer point at any Beamer feed and now show Beamer's own homepage, and 4 on product IDs that Beamer's configuration service reports as blocked.
Every chart and table on this page uses the remaining 604. The 1.31% share is 604 domains against the same Feature Flags total we publish, so the shares in the competitor table don't add up to 100%. Our Feature Flags category table uses this cleaned count too, so it lists Beamer at 604 domains, 3rd of 4. One group stays in: 73 social media marketing panels (sites that sell followers and likes) built on Perfect Panel. They hold 67 different Beamer IDs, so each is its own account.
Expert Analysis: Beamer Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

Teams that ship features every week need somewhere to tell users about them, and Beamer is the bell icon that does it. Our October 2026 crawl finds it on 604 domains, 3rd in our Feature Flags category. That number is what's left after the most important check I ran: reading the Beamer product ID on every live domain we could fetch and asking Beamer's own configuration service whether each ID still works. More than a quarter of the raw count didn't belong to the site owner.
What we removed: CloudRadial's feed
CloudRadial sells managed service providers a client portal, the page where an IT firm's customers raise tickets and see their assets. Each portal carries CloudRadial's own Beamer feed, product ID DjYMYPMX42643, which announces CloudRadial's updates. Of 866 raw domains, 220 were these portals. Lapzo's learning sites (13), GoToMyAccounts billing portals (9) and Cut+Dry ordering pages (2) do the same, and 15 more installs were dead. We removed all 259. Before the cut, IT services looked like Beamer's biggest industry; after it, software companies lead with 27.17%.
Sales signal: if you sell to MSPs, the 220 removed portals are a clean list of CloudRadial users. If you sell to Beamer customers, this page's 604 is the list to use.
Who's left: software teams shipping releases
On the 340 clean domains where we could read an ID, 306 accounts sit on the pages, and 279 of them on a single site, so nearly every row is one company. 63 domains are hosted changelog pages on the customer's own subdomain, such as updates.paddle.com, releases.usercentrics.com and changelog.saucelabs.com. One cluster surprised me: 73 social media marketing panels, sites that sell followers and likes, built on the Perfect Panel platform. They hold 67 different Beamer IDs, so each is its own small account, but together they're 12% of the list.
Sales signal: a company with a hosted updates page publishes releases often enough to want a public archive. That's a product team with a release process, the buyer for most dev-tool and product-analytics pitches. Filter out the SMM panels first.
A stable base
The chart starts at October 2026, because the cleaned count can only be measured on the current crawl. Since we began tracking Beamer on 16 March 2026, 90 domains have dropped it, and 11 of them still run it on another hostname. The installs that remain work: Beamer's configuration service answered for every real product ID we read on the kept domains.
"Beamer's raw count looked like a feature-flag market with an IT-services tilt. Take out one portal vendor's news feed and it's product teams announcing releases." - Elif Arslan, CMO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: treat Beamer as a steady pool of about 600 owner-held domains with small churn. It isn't a fast-growing segment.
Who uses it
41.48% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 29.26% have 11 to 50. Two in three (67.15%) were founded in the 2010s and 14.8% in the 2020s. Only 7 have more than 1,000 staff, among them Icatu Seguros, which runs Beamer on its broker portal, and Mews, which uses it for release notes. Beamer's pricing sets the scale: a Free plan up to 1,000 monthly active users, and paid plans from $49 to $249 a month billed annually for 5,000 to 50,000 users.
Sales signal: the typical buyer is a product manager or founder at a software company of under 50 people. Pitch adoption and retention, not infrastructure.
Where they are
The United States has 130 matched companies, the United Kingdom 28, and Brazil and Canada 15 each. India (14), Spain (12), France (11) and the Netherlands (11) follow. Software Development (27.17%) and Technology, Information and Internet (10.4%) make up 37.57% of companies with a known industry, and Advertising Services adds 6.07%.
Sales signal: for a Portuguese-language or LatAm motion, Brazil's Beamer accounts, Gupy, Iugu, Icatu Seguros and Coremma among them, are a short, well-qualified list of product teams.
No switching to report
Our switching table for Beamer is empty. No competitor passes our tests for domains that dropped Beamer and picked up a rival, or the reverse. The category doesn't help here: LaunchDarkly (44,398 domains) and Flagsmith (673) control feature releases, and the one release-communication rival in the table, LaunchNotes, has 37 domains. The tools buyers compare Beamer with are the vendors writing the "Beamer alternatives" pages: Frill, Sleekplan, ProductLift and others.
"Nobody moves from Beamer to LaunchDarkly, because they do different jobs. Compare Beamer with other changelog widgets, not with flag tools." - Elif Arslan, CMO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: a competitor to Beamer should look at the 90 domains that dropped it since March and check what replaced it. With numbers this small, a manual check of each site works.
The stack around it
Across the 604 domains, Google Analytics runs on 76.66%, Cloudflare's CDN on 53.97% and jQuery on 85.1%. Next.js (18.54%) and Ruby on Rails (8.11%) show the web apps where the widget sits, and WordPress (30.96%) and Webflow (9.93%) the marketing sites.
Sales signal: Beamer sites that run Next.js or Rails are product apps with logged-in users. That's where onboarding, in-app survey and session-replay tools fit.
One company with Userflow
Beamer acquired Userflow in February 2024; Userflow's announcement on 7 February said more than 200 companies already used both. Beamer's pricing page now sells Userflow's product tours next to its own Changelog, NPS and Feedback products, and its help centre lives on help.userflow.com.
Sales signal: Beamer accounts are now a cross-sell target for Userflow's onboarding tool. If you sell onboarding software against Userflow, reach those accounts before the bundle does.

Software Development is the top industry at 27.17%, and named users include Mews, Paddle, Usercentrics, Sauce Labs, TaxDome and the Brazilian insurer Icatu Seguros.
How many customers does Beamer have?
We count 604 domains in October 2026, and 357 of them match a company in our records. What is Beamer's market share?
1.31% of our Feature Flags category, 3rd of the 4 tools we track there, on 604 domains. The comparison isn't like-for-like. LaunchDarkly, with 44,398 domains, and Flagsmith, with 673, control feature releases, while Beamer announces them. What are the best alternatives to Beamer?
LaunchNotes is the only other release-communication tool in our Feature Flags table, on 37 domains against Beamer's 604. The pages ranking for Beamer alternatives are written by rival changelog and feedback vendors such as Frill, Sleekplan and ProductLift. If you need feature flags rather than announcements, LaunchDarkly and Flagsmith are different products, measured at 44,398 and 673 domains.

Two in three matched companies with a known founding year were founded in the 2010s (67.15%). The 2020s account for 14.8% and the 2000s for 13%. That profile suits a tool for software companies with an established product and enough users to need a changelog, rather than brand-new startups or long-established firms.
What is the ideal customer profile for Beamer?
The ideal Beamer customer is: Company Size: 1-50 employees (70.74%), Location: US, then UK, Brazil, Canada, Founded: 2010-2019 (67.15%), Industry: Software and internet companies, Where it runs: Product app, help centre or updates subdomain — based on our analysis of 357 enriched companies at TechnologyChecker.io.
What does Beamer do?
Beamer puts a changelog inside a website or app: a bell or sidebar listing new features, fixes and company news, with optional popups and push notifications. What is beamer software?
Two different things share the name. Beamer at getbeamer.com is a SaaS changelog and announcement tool, which this page measures. Beamer is also a free LaTeX class for building slide presentations, which most search results for the word describe. Our crawl only detects the first: the getbeamer.com script or its configuration object, on 604 domains in October 2026.
How much does Beamer cost?
Beamer's pricing page lists a Free plan for up to 1,000 monthly active users. Starter costs $59 a month, or $49 billed annually, for 5,000 users. Pro is $119, or $99 annually, for 10,000 users, and Scale is $299, or $249 annually, for 50,000. Larger volumes are quoted, and NPS and Feedback are sold as add-ons. Checked 16 October 2026.
Is Beamer free?
Yes, up to a point. Beamer's pricing page lists a Free plan for up to 1,000 monthly active users with one teammate, and its help centre says the Changelog, Feedback and NPS products each have a free option. Paid plans start at $49 a month billed annually. Userflow's onboarding product has a 14-day trial rather than a free plan.
Why does Beamer show up on IT support portals?
Because of CloudRadial. CloudRadial sells managed service providers a branded client portal, and every portal carries CloudRadial's own Beamer feed. Our crawl found 220 such portals, usually on portal., support. or my. subdomains of an IT firm. The firm didn't buy Beamer, so we removed all 220 from the count and charts on this page.
Is Beamer part of Userflow?
No, the other way round: Beamer acquired Userflow in February 2024, in a deal Beamer valued at more than $60 million. Userflow's announcement on 7 February 2024 said over 200 companies already used both products. Beamer's pricing page now sells Userflow's onboarding tool alongside the Changelog, NPS and Feedback products, and its help centre sits on help.userflow.com. Both brands still sell under their own names, according to those pages.
Beamer vs LaunchNotes: which is used more?
Beamer, by a wide margin. Our October 2026 Feature Flags table shows Beamer on 604 domains and LaunchNotes on 37, so Beamer is about 16 times larger. Both announce product releases rather than control them. Our crawl doesn't show companies moving between the two: Beamer's switching table is empty, and since March 2026 only 90 domains have dropped Beamer at all.
