Companies Using Mailjet
Our October 2026 crawl finds 139,573 domains that authorise Mailjet to send their email. Nearly all of them do it in DNS, with include:spf.mailjet.com in the domain's SPF record. When we checked 250 of them at random on 11 October, 244 carried that include and only one showed Mailjet's signup form on its homepage. So these are organisations with a Mailjet account, not sites running Mailjet, and the count is a floor. Below are the companies that use Mailjet, with size, country and stack, including McDonald's, Michelin, British Airways and Louis Vuitton.
The base is French and small. France holds 35,176 of the 107,775 companies we matched, more than three times the United States (10,699), and 80.13% of matched companies with a known headcount employ 50 people or fewer. Mailjet ranks 7th of the 73 tools we track in Email Marketing, with 5.27%, and has belonged to Sinch, alongside Mailgun, since December 2021.

Mailjet Usage Statistics
How many organisations use Mailjet? Our count reads 115,028 domains in June 2026, 130,371 in July, 132,209 in August, 137,985 in September and 139,573 in October. Read the rise, 15,343 of it in a single month, as coverage more than new accounts. The set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with dead domains dropping out and newly found ones added, and our detection widens over time; both push a count like this up. Exits are uncommon. 3,342 domains have lost the Mailjet signal since we began tracking it in March 2026, 2.39% of the October count, and 212 of those still carry it on another hostname. An SPF include usually stays put after the sending stops, so treat 3,342 as a floor.

Which Countries Use Mailjet the Most?
Which countries use Mailjet the most? France, with 35,176 matched companies, 32.64% of the 107,775 we matched. The United States (10,699) and Germany (10,235) are close together behind it, then the United Kingdom (6,709), the Netherlands (5,563), Spain (4,386) and Belgium (4,276). Its sister brand looks the other way: Mailgun's profile is led by the United States, with 73,561 companies. Brevo's profile also leads with France (22,519).
Share of the 107,775 Mailjet domains we matched to a company record — 77.2% of the 139,573 we detect. Top 15 countries shown, so these do not sum to 100%. Domains with no matching company record are not represented here and skew small and independent.
Mailjet Market Share Among Email Marketing
What is Mailjet's market share? 5.27% of Email Marketing, 7th of the 73 tools we track there at TechnologyChecker.io. The rank is fragile: MailerLite sits only 275 domains behind on 139,298, and Brevo is 16,055 ahead on 155,628. The fairer comparison is with the senders we measure the same way, from DNS alone. Against Sendgrid (344,723 domains), Mailgun (302,216) and Amazon SES (225,942), Mailjet is the smallest of the four, with about two fifths of Sendgrid's count.
Top Competitors by Market Share
Mailjet Customers by Company Size & Age
What size companies use Mailjet? Small ones. 52.25% of matched companies with a known headcount have 1 to 10 employees and 27.89% have 11 to 50, so 80.13% (81,318 of 101,477) employ 50 or fewer. 2,656 companies have more than 1,000 staff, among them McDonald's, Michelin and Delivery Hero. At that size the SPF entry probably covers one team's mail rather than the whole group's, and some big names authorise Mailjet only on a subdomain, such as Carrefour's community site or Equinix's careers site.
Company Size Distribution
Company Age (Founded Decade)
The largest founding decade is the 2010s (34.7%), then the 2000s (19.02%) and the 2020s (14.69%), so 49.39% of matched companies with a known founding year started in 2010 or later. 31.6% (21,599 of 68,353) are older than 2000, and 7.77% date from before 1960, a group that includes CaixaBank (1844), Zeiss (1846) and Michelin (1889). Put that next to the size data and the typical Mailjet company is a small firm set up in the last fifteen years.
What Industries Use Mailjet the Most?
Software Development leads at 5.06%, with IT Services and IT Consulting (5%) just behind, then Real Estate (3.97%), Retail (3.66%) and Advertising Services (3.13%), LinkedIn's label for agencies, based on our enriched company data. The top ten industries add up to 33.55% of matched companies, so no sector owns Mailjet. The software lead fits a product that sells an email API and SMTP relay next to its campaign editor, even on the free plan its pricing page lists.
Retailers using Mailjet include Gap Inc., Louis Vuitton, Albert Heijn, Lidl France and Fnac Darty, each with Mailjet in its domain's SPF record. Delivery companies on Mailjet include Delivery Hero, Glovo and Foodpanda, with the meal-kit firm HelloFresh beside them. Universities using Mailjet include UC Berkeley and Georgia Tech, which authorises it on its housing office's subdomain.
Mailjet Alternatives & Competitors
Mailjet's table splits in two. Sendgrid (13.02%), Mailgun (11.41%) and Amazon SES (8.53%) are counted, like Mailjet, from a DNS text record naming the sender, so those four compare like for like, based on our crawl. Brevo (155,628 domains, 5.88%) and MailerLite (139,298, 5.26%) also count signup forms and scripts on websites, and they're the closer match for newsletters with a free tier. MailChimp, which searchers often weigh against Mailjet, isn't in this table.
| Technology | Domains | Market Share |
|---|---|---|
| 344,723 | 13.02% | |
| 302,216 | 11.41% | |
| 155,628 | 5.88% | |
| 225,942 | 8.53% | |
| 139,298 | 5.26% |
Mailjet Customer Migration
Do companies switch from MailChimp to Mailjet? The table says 304 domains did and 71 went the other way, but most rows are co-presence. In 284 of the 304, we'd seen both on the same domain before MailChimp's signal went, 47 still run MailChimp on another hostname, and MailChimp's signal includes website forms, so a drop can be a form taken off a page. Counting only rows where the new tool appeared after the old one left, the flows are small: 20 from MailChimp against 3 to it, 23 from Brevo against 15, and 46 to Amazon SES against 18 from it. These are domains, not companies.

Tech Stack of Mailjet-Powered Websites
These percentages are of the 140,091 live Mailjet domains in our clean set. WordPress builds 43.17% of the websites, with Elementor on 14.66%, and WooCommerce (7.09%) is the most common shop, ahead of Shopify (2.6%) and PrestaShop (2.32%). Microsoft 365 handles company mail on 31.43% and Google Workspace on 18.37%, so Mailjet sends alongside the company mailbox, not instead of it. The European base shows in the smaller rows: Matomo runs on 5.69%, against 1.38% on Mailgun's profile, and five consent managers each sit between 2.85% and 5.23%.

Expert Analysis: Mailjet Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

Mailjet hardly ever shows up on a website. I took 250 random domains from our October 2026 list and checked them on 11 October: 244 carried include:spf.mailjet.com in their SPF record, and one showed a Mailjet signup form on its homepage. So this page lists domains that have authorised Mailjet to send mail for them, 139,573 in our October crawl, and we matched 107,775 of the 140,088 in our clean live set to a company, a 76.93% match rate. That's lower than Sage Intacct's 93.22%, per its profile, and it fits a product with a free plan that small senders sign up for.
What the SPF record proves
An SPF include tells receiving mail servers that Mailjet may send for the domain. Somebody with DNS access added it, so there was an account. It doesn't prove the account still sends, because nobody has to remove an include when they stop, and it misses customers who send from Mailjet's shared domain without touching DNS. The sample shows where the record sits too: 241 of the 244 includes were on the root domain and 3 on a subdomain only, while 6 of the 250 domains showed neither signal on the day.
Sales signal: treat 139,573 as a floor on accounts that once set up branded sending, with a stale tail. A domain that lists Mailjet and a second sender in SPF is the one to ask which tool does which job.
Growth trajectory
The chart reads 115,028 domains in June, 130,371 in July, 132,209 in August, 137,985 in September and 139,573 in October, a 21.34% rise in four months, with 15,343 of it in the first step. I wouldn't sell that as momentum. The set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with dead domains dropping out and new ones added, and our detection widens over time. Both lift a count like this without a single new signup. Exits are the other half: 3,342 domains have lost the signal since we began tracking it in March 2026, 2.39% of today's count, and 212 of them still carry it on another hostname. That's more movement than on Sage Intacct's verification key (67 of 7,116, per its profile). It fits a record admins do edit: SPF allows only ten DNS lookups, so old includes get pruned when a new sender goes in.
"Mailjet is close to invisible on a homepage and plain to see in DNS. Its count is every company that once wired Mailjet into its mail, and its churn is the minority who cleaned up afterwards." - Elif Arslan, CMO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: this is a large, stable, mostly European base, not a fast riser. Timing comes from the record itself: a domain that adds a second sender's include next to Mailjet's is in the middle of a decision.
Who the customers are
Small and young. 52.25% of matched companies with a known headcount have ten or fewer staff and 27.89% have 11 to 50, so 80.13% (81,318 of 101,477) employ 50 or fewer. Of those with a founding year, 49.39% started in 2010 or later (34.7% in the 2010s, 14.69% in the 2020s). The enterprise rows are real but thin: 2,656 companies have more than 1,000 staff. McDonald's, Gap Inc., Michelin, British Airways, Louis Vuitton and E.ON all carry the include on their root domain. At groups that size it probably covers one programme, a loyalty mailing or an event, rather than all company mail. Five rows on our top-50 list authorise Mailjet only on a subdomain, Carrefour's community site and Equinix's careers site among them, which makes the same point from the other side.
Sales signal: in the 1 to 50 band, the owner chose Mailjet and will choose its replacement. At the enterprise rows, find the team behind the include before you pitch; central marketing may not know it's there.
Countries and industries
France holds 35,176 of the 107,775 matched companies, 32.64%, more than three times the United States (10,699). Germany (10,235), the United Kingdom (6,709), the Netherlands (5,563), Spain (4,386) and Belgium (4,276) follow, so six European countries hold 66,345 companies between them. Mailjet, founded in 2010, bills from France: its pricing page quotes prices before French VAT. Its sister brand looks the other way, with Mailgun's profile led by the United States on 73,561 companies. Sinch completed its purchase of Pathwire, the parent of both, in December 2021. Industry is flat. Software Development (5.06%) and IT Services (5%) lead, and the top ten add up to only 33.55%.
Sales signal: anything sold on top of Mailjet, a deliverability audit or a CRM connector, needs French and German copy first. The US rows are a tenth of the base, not the core.
Rivals and switching
Mailjet holds 5.27% of Email Marketing, 7th of 73, with MailerLite 275 domains behind. Against the senders we measure the same way, from DNS alone, it's the smallest: Sendgrid has 344,723 domains, Mailgun 302,216 and Amazon SES 225,942. The two Sinch brands trade a little in both directions, 99 domains from Mailgun to Mailjet and 87 from Mailjet to Mailgun.
The switching table needs care, because most rows are co-presence: a domain with two senders' includes drops one. In 284 of the 304 "switched from MailChimp" rows, we'd seen both tools on the same domain first. Counting only rows where the new tool appeared after the old one went, Mailjet gained 20 domains from MailChimp and lost 3 to it, and lost 46 to Amazon SES while gaining 18 from it. Those numbers are small, and they're domains.
"Mailjet's switching story is a lean, not a wave. A few newsletter senders arrive from MailChimp, and a few more domains take their mail to Amazon SES than come back." - Elif Arslan, CMO & Co-founder at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales signal: for a competing sender, the opening is the domain with two includes, Mailjet plus Brevo or Sendgrid, which is already running two tools. For Mailjet partners, the domains adding Amazon SES are the accounts to watch.
The stack around it
Percentages here are of the 140,091 live domains in our clean set. WordPress builds 43.17% of the websites and Elementor 14.66%. WooCommerce (7.09%) is the most common shop, ahead of Shopify (2.6%) and PrestaShop (2.32%). Microsoft 365 handles company mail on 31.43% and Google Workspace on 18.37%. The European base shows in analytics and consent: Matomo runs on 5.69%, against 1.38% on Mailgun's profile and 1.44% on Sendgrid's, and five consent managers each sit between 2.85% and 5.23%.
Sales signal: WooCommerce and PrestaShop shops with Mailjet in DNS are the natural buyers of order and cart emails. Lead with those, not with newsletters, which they already send.
Key takeaways
1. 139,573 domains authorise Mailjet to send in October 2026, a floor on accounts, with 107,775 matched to a company.
2. A French-led European base: France has 35,176 matched companies, the United States 10,699.
3. Small and young: 80.13% employ 50 or fewer, and 49.39% were founded in 2010 or later.
4. Churn of 2.39% since March is real but low, because SPF includes outlive the sending.
5. Switching rows are mostly co-presence. The clean flows are small: in from MailChimp, out to Amazon SES.
How to use this list
Start with France, Germany and the Benelux in the 1 to 50 band, then split by industry. Software and IT services give you companies that send through the API; real estate and retail give you newsletter senders. A first line that works for a deliverability service: "Your domain authorises Mailjet and a second sender in SPF; we can tell you which one your customers' inboxes trust." If you sell on both sides of the Atlantic, set this list against Emma's, where 6,364 of 6,886 matched companies are in the United States; the two bases barely meet. Frequently Asked Questions
Who uses Mailjet?
Mostly small European companies, with a famous enterprise tail. Our October 2026 crawl finds 139,573 domains that authorise Mailjet to send their email, and France alone holds 35,176 of the 107,775 companies we matched. 52.25% of those with a known headcount have ten or fewer staff. Named customers include McDonald's, Michelin, British Airways, Gap Inc., Louis Vuitton and Delivery Hero.
How many customers does Mailjet have?
We count 139,573 domains in October 2026, 107,775 of them matched to a company. That's domains with Mailjet in their SPF record, free accounts included, not paying customers. Sinch's December 2021 release said more than 100,000 businesses used Mailgun, Mailjet and Email on Acid combined. Senders that never add Mailjet to their SPF record don't show up, so our count is a floor.
What is Mailjet's market share?
5.27% of Email Marketing, 7th of the 73 tools we track there, on 139,573 domains. The rank is fragile, because MailerLite is 275 domains behind on 139,298. The fairer comparison is with the senders we also measure from DNS alone: Sendgrid has 344,723 domains, Mailgun 302,216 and Amazon SES 225,942, so Mailjet is the smallest of those four.
What are the best alternatives to Mailjet?
For transactional mail through an API, look at Sendgrid, Amazon SES and Mailgun, which Sinch also owns. For newsletters with a free tier, Brevo and MailerLite, and searchers often weigh it against MailChimp. Our switching data leans slightly toward Amazon SES: since March, 46 domains added SES after dropping Mailjet, against 18 that left SES for Mailjet.
Which countries use Mailjet the most?
France, with 35,176 matched companies, 32.64% of the 107,775 we matched. The United States (10,699) and Germany (10,235) follow, then the United Kingdom (6,709), the Netherlands (5,563), Spain (4,386) and Belgium (4,276). That's unusual in this category. What size companies use Mailjet?
Small ones, mostly. 52.25% of matched companies with a known headcount have 1 to 10 employees and 27.89% have 11 to 50, so 80.13% employ 50 or fewer. 2,656 companies have more than 1,000 staff, including McDonald's, Michelin and Compass Group, though at that size the SPF entry probably covers one team's mail rather than the whole group's.
How old are companies that use Mailjet?
Young, on the whole. The largest founding decade is the 2010s (34.7%), then the 2000s (19.02%) and the 2020s (14.69%), so 49.39% of matched companies with a known founding year started in 2010 or later. 31.6% (21,599 of 68,353) are older than 2000, and the oldest names on our list include CaixaBank (1844), Zeiss (1846) and Michelin (1889).

Sinch, the Stockholm-based cloud communications company. Mailjet was founded in 2010. In our data the two Sinch senders look nothing alike: Mailjet's base leads with France, Mailgun's with the United States.
Is Mailjet free to use?
Yes, within limits. Mailjet's pricing page lists a Free plan at $0 with 6,000 emails a month, a cap of 200 a day and 1,000 contacts, and no credit card is needed to sign up. The daily cap is the catch for a newsletter: a list of 1,000 takes five days to reach. Paid plans start with Starter at $9 a month. Checked 11 October 2026.
How much does Mailjet cost?
Mailjet's pricing page lists Free at $0, Starter at $9 a month for 8,000 emails, and Essential at $19 and Premium at $29 a month at the 15,000-email tier, with prices rising as volume grows. Paying annually takes 10% off, listed prices exclude French VAT, and a Custom plan for high-volume senders is quoted. Checked 11 October 2026.
Which is better, Mailjet or Mailchimp?
Our data can't grade them, but it shows how they overlap. Since March, 304 Mailjet domains lost a MailChimp signal and 71 went the other way. In 284 of the 304 we'd seen both on the same domain first, so most rows are a company trimming one of two tools. Counting only clean sequences, 20 domains moved to Mailjet and 3 to MailChimp.
What is Mailjet used for?
Sending email from a company's own domain: campaigns, plus the transactional mail an app or shop sends through its API or SMTP relay. Our crawl sees it almost entirely through DNS. 244 of 250 random Mailjet domains carried include:spf.mailjet.com in their SPF record, while only one showed Mailjet's signup form on its homepage. Software and IT services are its largest industries.
Is Mailjet GDPR compliant?
Mailjet's about page says it follows GDPR, CAN-SPAM and CASL, and its pricing page lists GDPR-compliant subscription forms. Compliance is still the sender's job, because consent and list hygiene sit with you. Its base is European: France, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Spain and Belgium hold 66,345 of the 107,775 companies we matched. Checked 11 October 2026.
Is Mailjet trustworthy?
It's an established sender with a large owner. Sinch AB (publ), the Swedish cloud communications company, has owned it since December 2021, and Mailjet has run since 2010. Large organisations authorise it in DNS: Gap Inc., Diageo, E.ON and Zeiss all listed include:spf.mailjet.com in their SPF records when we checked on 11 October 2026. That proves an account, not inbox placement, so test deliverability yourself.
