Companies Using Salesloft

More than half of the domains carrying Salesloft's website tag aren't separate customers. Our September 2026 crawl matched 3,641 live domains, and about 54% of them forward to another site in the same set: an acquired company's old website pointing at its new parent, or a typo domain pointing home. Counted once per site, 1,666 websites use Salesloft, and every chart on this page uses that number.

The tag is Live Website Tracking from Salesloft, the sales engagement platform that completed its merger with Clari on December 3, 2025. It logs when a prospect who got a Salesloft email visits the site, so each row is a company whose reps work cadences in Salesloft. Salesloft customers here are mid-sized B2B firms: 51 to 200 employees is the largest band (33.78%), and Software Development leads at 28.17%. The companies that use Salesloft include Qlik, Lexmark and Cboe. We publish no market share or rank for it.

Salesloft Usage Statistics

Our September 2026 check counts 1,666 distinct websites running Salesloft's tag, and that single reading is the only point on this chart. Earlier monthly totals counted every alias domain separately, so joining them to this reading would draw one line out of two different measures. We also show no figure for sites that dropped Salesloft. When we reloaded 23 domains flagged as recent leavers, 10 still loaded the tag, so the raw leaver count mixes real removals with missed crawls and alias turnover. That isn't a claim that nobody left.

List of Companies Using Salesloft

Our list of companies that use Salesloft counts each website once, so an acquirer's forwarding domains don't show up as separate rows. The host column shows where the tag runs, and it often isn't the homepage: corporatelearning.ef.com, globallink.transperfect.com, corporate.grubhub.com, talentsolutions.cbiz.com. Those are the business units doing outbound sales. These brands that use Salesloft have the largest LinkedIn following among 1,426 matched companies. Some enterprise sites load the tag only after cookie consent, so a row we couldn't reconfirm in a browser isn't a wrong one.

Which Countries Use Salesloft the Most?

Which countries use Salesloft the most? The United States, by a wide margin: 1,071 of the 1,426 companies we matched. The United Kingdom (97) and Canada (88) follow, so those three hold 1,256. Australia has 25 and France 20, and no other country reaches a dozen. Outside North America and the UK, a Salesloft site is rare enough to be worth a look on its own, based on our enriched company data.

Salesloft Market Share Among Marketing Automation

What is Salesloft's market share? We don't publish one, and the cards show no category rank. The 1,666 on this page counts each website once, while the other Marketing Automation counts still include every domain that redirects to a site running them, so a share across the two bases would understate Salesloft. The category is also a mix: marketing suites such as HubSpot and Pardot sit next to Salesloft's sales-tracking tag, so a share there wouldn't describe the sales engagement market anyway. Our Marketing Automation category table lists Salesloft on its raw domain count, 3,568.

Salesloft Customers by Company Size & Age

What size companies use Salesloft? Mid-sized B2B firms. Of 1,421 matched companies with a size on record, 480 (33.78%) have 51 to 200 employees and 442 (31.1%) have 11 to 50. Only 165 (11.61%) have ten staff or fewer, which is low for a website tag and fits a product sold per seat to sales teams. The large end is real: 97 companies employ more than 1,000 people, EF Education First, Lexmark and TransPerfect among them.

Company Size Distribution

Company Age (Founded Decade)

Most Salesloft companies were founded in the 2010s (43.68%), and another 21.07% in the 2000s. The 2020s account for 10.86%, fewer than the 1990s (11.75%). A seat-priced outbound tool tends to arrive once a company has a sales development team to put on it, and few companies founded since 2020 have got there yet.

What Industries Use Salesloft the Most?

Software Development is the largest industry at 28.17% of matched companies, nearly four times IT Services and IT Consulting (7.33%). Add Technology, Information and Internet (5.12%) and Computer and Network Security (2.28%), and those four tech industries reach 42.9%. Financial Services (5.12%) and Insurance (4.98%) are the largest groups outside tech. Insurance is the one our alias cleanup moved: it was 7.92% before acquired agencies' forwarding domains were folded into their parents, per our analysis at TechnologyChecker.io.

Software companies that use Salesloft include Qlik, Manhattan Associates, Hyland and Blackbaud, each loading the tag on a site it runs. Financial services firms on Salesloft include Cboe and Intralinks, and security vendors using Salesloft include KnowBe4 and Infoblox, based on our enriched company data.

Salesloft Alternatives & Competitors

The table lists the largest technologies in Marketing Automation by domains we detect, each on its own raw count, so it shows the category rather than ranking Salesloft. None of the top five is a sales engagement platform. HubSpot and Pardot are marketing suites, and both turn up in Salesloft's own stack below. The tools Salesloft is usually weighed against are Outreach, which leaves no website tag we detect, and Apollo.io, which sells to smaller teams: the companies that use Apollo.io are 42.59% at 1 to 10 employees on its profile, against 11.61% here.

How We Counted Salesloft Customers

A website counts here if it loads Salesloft's Live Website Tracking tag: the sl.js script from scout-cdn.salesloft.com, or the SLScoutObject function that sets it up. The rule has no link or DNS test. When we loaded 30 matched sites in a browser, 24 of the 28 that loaded requested the script. The other four showed nothing, which usually means a cookie banner held the tag back or the site had removed it.

The tag was clean. The domain count wasn't. Our crawl matched 3,641 live domains on September 27, 2026, and when we followed each one to where it ends up, about 54% landed on another site in the same set. Most are the old websites of acquired companies, pointed at the buyer's site after a deal. One insurance brokerage accounted for 98 of them, mostly agencies it had bought; one payments company had 122 domains forwarding to its main site, typo and complaint domains among them.

A crawler that follows the redirect finds Salesloft's tag at the end and credits the domain it started from. Company records make it worse, because acquired firms keep their own LinkedIn pages, so a raw count reads as dozens of separate Salesloft customers in one industry. On the raw basis, Insurance was 7.92% of matched companies. On distinct sites it's 4.98%. Around 115 agency domains stayed behind a bot check even in a browser, so a few aliases are probably still counted.

We count each final site once: 1,666 distinct websites. Our Marketing Automation category table still lists Salesloft on the raw monthly domain count, 3,568, which is why the two pages disagree. Our guide to technology detection methods covers how redirects and shared domains distort counts like this one. Every chart and table on this page is computed on the 1,666.

Expert Analysis: Salesloft Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

Emma Davies
Emma DaviesData Analyst, TechnologyChecker

I'm Emma Davies, a data analyst at TechnologyChecker.io, and most of the work on this profile went into one question: how many companies does Salesloft's website tag stand for? Our September 27, 2026 check matched 3,641 live domains. After following every redirect it's 1,666 distinct websites, and 1,426 of them match a company record (85.6%). Everything below runs on the 1,666.

What the tag tells you

Salesloft is a sales engagement platform. Reps run cadences of emails, calls and other steps, and since the Clari merger closed on December 3, 2025, forecasting sits in the same company. None of that is visible from outside. Live Website Tracking is. A customer pastes Salesloft's script into its site, and when a prospect clicks a link in a Salesloft email, the visit is logged against that person, according to Salesloft's help center. So the tag belongs to a sales team, one that works outbound in Salesloft and wants to know which prospects came back to the site.

That makes the count a floor. Plenty of teams run cadences and never install the script. Salesloft's enterprise page cites IBM, Google and LinkedIn as users, and none of the three is in our Salesloft set, which is what you'd expect from a tag that large companies often skip or hold behind consent. The chart has one point for the same reason the count is de-aliased: the earlier monthly totals counted every forwarding domain, and 14.69% of the raw domains were first seen only in August or September, which is our crawl adding domains and widening its detection, not a wave of new customers.

"The raw count told a story about insurance agencies buying sales software. The redirects told the real one: one broker's acquired agencies, all forwarding to the same site. Count the site, not the domain." - Emma Davies, Data Analyst at TechnologyChecker.io

Sales Signal: A live Salesloft tag means an outbound team with a working cadence motion and someone who cared about attribution enough to install tracking. For sales productivity vendors it's a sharper signal than a CRM detection, which says little about how a sales team works.

Customer profile

This is a mid-market base. Of 1,421 matched companies with a size on record, 33.78% have 51 to 200 employees and 31.1% have 11 to 50. The micro end is thin at 11.61%, a long way from the 42.59% that the Apollo.io profile shows for its own website tracker. At the top, 97 companies employ more than 1,000 people, including EF Education First, Lexmark and TransPerfect. EF and TransPerfect load the script on business-unit sites, corporatelearning.ef.com and globallink.transperfect.com, rather than on the corporate homepage.

Founding dates point the same way. 43.68% were founded in the 2010s and 21.07% in the 2000s; only 10.86% date from the 2020s. These are companies that have had time to build a sales development team.

Sales Signal: The core account is a 50 to 200 person B2B software company with a handful of SDRs. It buys tools that make those reps faster, and at that size one sales-ops or RevOps owner usually signs off on the whole stack. Find that person first.

Industry and geographic concentration

Software Development is 28.17% of matched companies, nearly four times IT Services and IT Consulting (7.33%). With Technology, Information and Internet (5.12%) and Computer and Network Security (2.28%), tech reaches 42.9%. Qlik, Hyland, Boomi and KnowBe4 are typical names. Financial Services (5.12%) and Insurance (4.98%) are the biggest groups outside tech, and Insurance is the one the alias cleanup moved: it was 7.92% on the raw domain count.

The United States has 1,071 of the 1,426 matched companies. With the UK (97) and Canada (88) that's 1,256, or 88%. Australia has 25 and France 20.

Sales Signal: Outside the US, UK and Canada, a Salesloft install is rare enough to treat as a named-account signal. RELEX Solutions in Finland and EcoVadis in France are two examples, and both run the tag on sites we loaded in a browser.

Why there is no migration table

We tested every tool that appeared on sites after Salesloft's tag disappeared, and none passed. The biggest candidates, HubSpot, Qualified, Pardot, ZoomInfo and 6sense, usually run on the same B2B site as Salesloft, next to it, and they turned up among leavers no more often than chance would predict. Salesloft's direct rivals, Outreach among them, leave no website tag we detect, so a switch to one of them looks like a plain removal from outside.

Removals are shaky here anyway. When we reloaded 23 domains flagged as leaving in the last 30 days, 10 still loaded the tag. Consent banners and missed crawls both look like churn. The other 13 looked gone, but at scale we can't tell a real removal from a missed crawl, so this page prints no leaver figure.

"A company that moves from Salesloft to Outreach loses one script. From outside that looks the same as a website rebuild, so I'd rather print no switching data than a guess." - Emma Davies, Data Analyst at TechnologyChecker.io

Sales Signal: For competing sales engagement vendors, a vanished Salesloft tag isn't a switch signal on its own. Recheck the site a month later before you treat it as an opening.

Technology ecosystem

On the 1,666 sites, HubSpot runs on 46.28% and ZoomInfo's WebSights tag on 36.61%. Salesforce CRM appears on 27.85% and Pardot on 19.63%, with 6sense (12.48%) and Marketo (12.3%) close behind. Demandbase is on 5.88% and Leadfeeder on 5.82%. That's a full account-based stack. Drift, which Salesloft bought in February 2024, shows up on 3.24%, and Salesloft's chat-agents page now says it has moved from Drift to a partnership with 1Mind (checked September 27, 2026). Our Salesforce statistics and market share report covers the CRM half of this picture.

Sales Signal: Plan for HubSpot and Salesforce alike. 771 of these sites run HubSpot's tag and 464 run Salesforce CRM, so a product that plugs into the Salesloft workflow needs both integrations on day one.

Salesloft rates 4.5 out of 5 from 9,882 G2 reviews (September 27, 2026). The praise is about daily use: ease of use (569 mentions), automation (342) and call tracking with customizable cadences (338). The complaints are about gaps: missing features (239), call issues (164) and integration issues (134), where reviewers name HubSpot most often.

That last one lines up with our stack data. HubSpot is the most common tool on the sites running Salesloft, at 46.28%, so a HubSpot sync problem touches a large share of the base. G2 doesn't tell us which reviewers run which CRM, so this is a pattern that matches, and no more than that.

Sales Signal: Integration and dialer tooling are the openings Salesloft's own users describe. A HubSpot-native add-on or a calling product aimed at Salesloft teams sells into a complaint that is already written down.

Key takeaways

1. 1,666 distinct websites from 3,641 live domains: about 54% of the raw count was redirect aliases.
2. The tag marks an outbound sales team, because Live Website Tracking ties site visits to Salesloft emails.
3. Mid-market B2B: 51 to 200 employees is the largest band (33.78%), and Software Development leads at 28.17%.
4. US-centric: 1,071 of 1,426 matched companies are in the United States.
5. No share, rank, churn or migration figure, because this basis can't support any of them.

Sales applications

Outreach template: "Your team runs cadences in Salesloft and tracks who comes back to [company].com. [One specific gap, such as account research before the first touch] is where teams your size usually lose time. Worth 15 minutes?" Targeting strategy: on TechnologyChecker.io, filter Salesloft to Software Development, 51 to 200 employees, United States, then narrow to sites that also run ZoomInfo or 6sense. Competitive angle: keep the sites that run HubSpot and Salesloft together on their own list. They pay for a dedicated sales engagement tool next to their marketing platform, so what they bought was depth for their reps.

Every figure above comes from our own crawl and enrichment: 1,666 Salesloft websites and 1,426 matched companies. Filter the list by country, industry and company size on TechnologyChecker.io.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who uses Salesloft?

Mostly mid-sized B2B companies with outbound sales teams. Our September 2026 crawl finds Salesloft's website tracking tag on 1,666 distinct sites, including Qlik, Manhattan Associates, Lexmark and Grubhub's corporate ordering site. Software Development is the largest industry at 28.17% of matched companies, and 51 to 200 employees is the largest size band at 33.78%.

How many customers does Salesloft have?

We count 1,666 distinct websites running Salesloft's Live Website Tracking tag, checked September 27, 2026. The raw figure is 3,641 domains, but about 54% of those forward to another site in the same set, so we count each site once. It's a floor: plenty of teams run Salesloft cadences without installing the tag, and those are invisible to a crawler.

What is Salesloft's market share?

We don't publish one. Our 1,666 counts each website once, while the other Marketing Automation counts still include every redirecting domain, so a share across the two would understate Salesloft. The category also puts marketing suites such as HubSpot next to Salesloft's sales-tracking tag, so a share wouldn't describe the sales engagement market. Treat 1,666 as a count that stands on its own.

What are the best alternatives to Salesloft?

Outreach is the closest like-for-like sales engagement platform. Apollo.io pairs email sequencing with its own contact and company database, and HubSpot's Sales Hub has sequences for teams already on HubSpot. The top rows in our Marketing Automation table, HubSpot, HighLevel and Pardot, are marketing tools rather than alternatives, and HubSpot runs alongside Salesloft on 46.28% of the sites we count.

Which countries use Salesloft the most?

United States leads with 1,071 matched Salesloft domains, followed by United Kingdom (97), Canada (88), Australia (25), France (20). These are counts within the 1,426 domains we could match to a company record, not the full detected base.

What size companies use Salesloft?

Mid-sized ones. Of 1,421 matched companies with a known size, the largest group has 51 to 200 employees (33.78%), followed by 11 to 50 (31.1%) and 201 to 500 (11.89%). Only 11.61% have ten or fewer staff. At the other end, 97 companies employ more than 1,000 people, including EF Education First, Lexmark and TransPerfect.

How old are companies that use Salesloft?

Among the Salesloft domains we could match to a company with a known founding date, the largest group was founded in the 2010s (43.68%), followed by the 2000s (21.07%). That matched subset is drawn from 1,426 companies and is not representative of all 1,666 detected domains. This suggests Salesloft is most popular among relatively young companies.

What is the ideal customer profile for Salesloft?

The ideal Salesloft customer is: Company Size: 51-200 employees, then 11-50, Location: United States, then the UK and Canada, Industry: Software, IT services, financial services, Founded: 2010-2019, Website: HubSpot or Pardot plus a visitor-ID tag — based on our analysis of 1,426 enriched companies at TechnologyChecker.io.

What does Salesloft do?

Salesloft is a sales engagement platform. Reps work prospects through cadences of emails, calls and other steps, and since the Clari merger it also sells forecasting. Every package includes Cadence, Conversations, Deals, Rhythm, Coaching and CRM sync, per its help center (November 4, 2025). The part a crawler can see is Live Website Tracking, a script on the customer's own site.

Who owns Salesloft?

Salesloft and Clari completed their merger on December 3, 2025, and named Steve Cox chief executive of the combined company, which now goes by Salesloft, per Salesloft's newsroom. Earlier, Vista Equity Partners made a strategic growth investment in Salesloft in December 2021 at a $2.3 billion valuation, and Salesloft bought the chat company Drift in February 2024.

How much does Salesloft cost?

Salesloft doesn't publish prices. Its pricing link leads to a Talk to Sales page (checked September 27, 2026). Its help center lists two packages, Advanced and Elite, plus Forecasting, Account Agent, Coaching Agent and Dialer add-ons, so the price depends on seats, package and add-ons. Figures reported on third-party sites vary widely; get a quote for your team size.

Is Outreach better than Salesloft?

Neither wins outright, because they sell the same thing to the same buyer. Both are sales engagement platforms with quote-only pricing, as each vendor's pricing page showed on September 27, 2026. Salesloft now sells Clari's forecasting inside the same company. We can't compare install bases, because Outreach leaves no website tag we detect, so any head-to-head customer count would be a guess.

Is Salesloft a CRM?

No. Salesloft sits on top of a CRM and syncs activity back to it; CRM sync is in every package, per its help center. Its Deals module is available only to customers whose CRM is Salesforce. On the 1,666 sites we count, Salesforce CRM appears on 27.85%, and HubSpot's tag on 46.28%.

What is the difference between Salesloft and HubSpot?

HubSpot is a CRM and marketing platform; Salesloft is a sales engagement layer for outbound reps. Many companies run both: HubSpot's tag is on 771 of the 1,666 sites running Salesloft (46.28%), the most common tool in their stacks. A company choosing between them is usually deciding whether HubSpot's own sales tools are enough for its sales development team.

Does a Salesloft tag mean a company was hit by the 2025 Drift breach?

No. The August 2025 incident used stolen OAuth tokens from the Drift app's Salesforce connection, according to Google's threat intelligence team, and Salesloft's trust center says Mandiant found no evidence of compromise in Salesloft's own production environment. The tag we count is Salesloft's website tracking, which says nothing about Drift. 54 of our 1,666 sites run Drift's chat.

How can you tell if a company uses Salesloft?

Check the page's network requests for sl.js from scout-cdn.salesloft.com, or type SLScoutObject in the browser console. That's Salesloft's Live Website Tracking script, the test behind every number on this page. Many enterprise sites load it only after cookie consent, so a missing tag on first load doesn't prove a company doesn't use Salesloft.
