Companies Using Flodesk

I looked at Flodesk in our September 2026 crawl. What we can see is the part of Flodesk that lives on a customer's website: the sign-up forms and pop-ups, which load a script from assets.flodesk.com. On that basis 24,299 domains run a live Flodesk form and 13,234 match a company record. In a random sample of 300 detected domains, 268 of the 282 that loaded showed Flodesk in the raw page, and a browser found late-loading forms on most of the rest, so the detection is clean. What it misses is anyone who uses Flodesk only to send email. Flodesk's own figure is more than 100,000 small businesses, so we see roughly one in four. Our note on technology detection methods covers why a site-level count and a vendor's account count differ.

A steady base, seen from the form

The chart runs 21,168 in June, 23,180 in July, 23,408 in August and 24,299 in September. There is no growth story in that. The domains we crawl turn over every month and our detection widens, and only 8.09% of today's live domains were first seen in August or September. 1,937 domains have dropped a Flodesk form since March 2026, a drop rate of about 6.7%, which is high for an embedded script. We don't read it as churn from Flodesk: forms often disappear when a site is rebuilt.

Sales signal: size any Flodesk campaign on 24,299 visible sites and treat the vendor's 100,000 as the ceiling. Removal of a form is weak evidence of churn; don't build a win-back list from it.

Who the customers are

Flodesk's base is made of very small companies. 88.94% of matched companies have 1 to 10 employees and only 7 have more than 1,000. They're young: 83.09% were founded in 2010 or later. The published profiles of its neighbours make the point: 61.31% of Mailchimp's matched companies have 1 to 10 staff, and 91.16% of Kit's. The bigger names on our list tend to use Flodesk for one job, such as the real estate site at Sand Valley or the festival list at Aspen Music Festival, rather than as their main marketing platform. Flodesk doesn't publish a customer logo list, so every name on this page comes from our own detection.

Sales signal: the buyer is the owner. Anything sold to Flodesk users has to be self-serve, priced for a one-person business and explained without jargon.

Photographers, coaches and North America

Photography and Professional Training and Coaching tie at 6.31%, with Wellness and Fitness Services at 6.23% and Design Services at 5.17%: 24.02% of matched companies between them. The site stack confirms the photographer skew: Showit, a builder made for photographers, runs on 7.32% of Flodesk domains, and Pixieset, a client-gallery tool, on 1.19%. Geographically it's a US product: 8,366 matched companies are American, and with Canada (984), the UK (931), Australia (612) and New Zealand (103) that's about nine in ten of those with a known country.

Sales signal: photography and wellness are the two verticals where Flodesk is distinctive. Booking, gallery and payment tools for those trades will find their customers on this list; outside English-speaking markets there is little to target.

Stacking, not switching

We tested every email tool for a switching pattern and none passed. Email tools pile up on one site: 890 live Flodesk domains also run Mailchimp, 709 run Klaviyo, 361 run MailerLite and 186 run Kit. Of the sites we have ever seen with both Flodesk and Mailchimp, 83.5% still run both. Movement goes in both directions too: since March 2026, 91 sites dropped Mailchimp and kept Flodesk and 44 did the reverse. For Kit it's 26 and 33. That's too even, and too entangled, to call a trend.

Sales signal: the sites running Flodesk plus a second email tool are the consolidation opportunity, for Flodesk and for its rivals. Filter for them before pitching a switch.

The website stack

WordPress hosts 43.82% of Flodesk domains and Squarespace 27.44%; Elementor appears on 9.99% and Wix on only 2.48%. Shopify runs on 16.31%, so about one site in six sells through a store as well as collecting emails. Facebook Pixel is on 35.31% and the Pinterest tag on 4.1%, which fits businesses that sell visually. WP Engine hosts 13.39%.

Sales signal: a Flodesk user with a Shopify store is a candidate for an ecommerce email tool, and Flodesk's own Everything plan, with checkouts and sales pages, targets the same need.

G2 review signals

Flodesk rates 4.8 out of 5 from 302 G2 reviews. Ease of use collects 47 mentions and templates 23, while the top complaint, missing features such as A/B testing and reporting, has 5. That imbalance matches our data: a base of one-person businesses values simplicity over depth, and the few who outgrow it are the ones adding Kit or Klaviyo next to it.

Sales signal: pitch Flodesk users on time saved, not on features. The minority asking for testing and reporting are already visible as dual-tool sites.
