Companies Using RankMath SEO
Our database tracks 939,870 domains running RankMath SEO, making it the second-largest technology in SEO Tools at 17.28%, behind Yoast SEO and ahead of All in One SEO Pack. Below you'll find a full list of companies using RankMath with market share, industry breakdowns and geographic data from 602,371 enriched company profiles.
RankMath is the one product in this category that our switching data shows genuinely taking accounts from its competitors. 18,099 domains dropped Yoast SEO and now run RankMath, and another 3,300 came from All in One SEO Pack — corridors that clear every statistical test we apply, which almost nothing else in our corpus does. Its customer base is also the youngest of the three: 23.1% of RankMath's companies were founded in the 2020s, against 16.7% for Yoast.

RankMath SEO Usage Statistics
RankMath reads 939,870 active domains in our August 2026 rollup against 760,704 in June. That rise is largely crawl coverage — our corpus grew from roughly 201 million to 379 million active domains over the same window — so it should not be read as adoption on its own. The live count as of September 2026 is 1,013,698 domains.
81,304 domains have dropped RankMath since we began covering it in March 2026, a churn ratio of 8.0%. The comparable figures are 6.6% for Yoast SEO and 8.2% for All in One SEO Pack — the three products lose domains at almost the same rate, which is worth holding alongside the migration data below.

Which Countries Use RankMath SEO the Most?
Which countries use RankMath the most? The United States leads at 29.0%, followed by Germany at 10.3%, the United Kingdom at 10.1%, India at 7.2%, Spain at 6.7% and the Netherlands at 5.8%, across 602,371 enriched companies.
RankMath is the least US-concentrated of the three: Yoast reads 31.8% and All in One SEO Pack 36.2%. Germany at 10.3% is its strongest relative market — three points above All in One SEO Pack — and India at 7.2% reflects both the plugin's origin and where its free tier competes hardest against paid alternatives.
Share of the 602,371 RankMath SEO domains we matched to a company record — 64.1% of the 939,870 we detect. Top 15 countries shown, so these do not sum to 100%. Domains with no matching company record are not represented here and skew small and independent.
RankMath SEO Market Share Among SEO Tools
What is RankMath's market share? RankMath holds 17.28% of the SEO Tools category with 939,870 domains, ranking 2nd of 48 behind Yoast SEO at 68.87%. Those two plus All in One SEO Pack (11.16%) are 97.31% of the category's 5.44 million domains — SEO Tools is, on this measurement, three WordPress plugins and a long tail.
The ranking understates the direction of travel. Yoast leads by 4x on installed base, but RankMath is the destination of the only migration corridors in this category that survive testing.
Top Competitors by Market Share
RankMath SEO Customers by Company Size & Age
What size companies use RankMath? 61.74% have 1-10 employees once the equivalent LinkedIn bands are merged, with 24.33% at 11-50 and 8.17% at 51-200. The curve is nearly identical to Yoast's and All in One SEO Pack's, which is what you would expect: all three install into WordPress, and WordPress's size distribution is the one being measured.
Where the three differ is age, not size. See the founding-decade breakdown below.
Company Size Distribution
Company Age (Founded Decade)
What Industries Use RankMath SEO the Most?
RankMath's industry distribution is almost flat. Construction leads at 4.96%, followed by Advertising Services and IT Services & Consulting at 3.85% each, Business Consulting at 3.31% and Retail at 2.9%. No vertical reaches 5%.
That flatness is not a finding about RankMath so much as about WordPress: a plugin that installs into a CMS inherits the CMS's distribution, and WordPress is everywhere. The same shape appears on Yoast SEO (Construction 5.05%) and All in One SEO Pack (Construction 4.59%).
The detected roster spans public institutions and large enterprises that run WordPress somewhere in their estate — NASA, the US Department of Veterans Affairs, Turkish Airlines, Flex and France's Mousquetaires Group all appear. Read those as departmental or campaign sites rather than corporate platforms: a free SEO plugin is the path of least resistance for a marketing team spinning up a WordPress install, which is precisely why the industry table has no concentration to speak of.
RankMath SEO Alternatives & Competitors
RankMath ranks 2nd of 48 in SEO Tools behind Yoast SEO (3,746,462 domains, 68.87%) and ahead of All in One SEO Pack (606,876, 11.16%). Below those three the category falls away sharply — Ahrefs is 4th at 0.94% and nothing else reaches half a percent.
That top-three structure matters because WordPress permits only one SEO plugin in practice. Two plugins emitting competing title tags, canonical URLs and schema graphs produce duplicate and conflicting output, so the choice is exclusive in a way that most software categories are not. It is why this category produces real migration data when almost none of our others do.
| Technology | Domains | Market Share |

RankMath SEO Customer Migration
RankMath is the only technology in our corpus that is demonstrably winning accounts from two competitors at once.
18,099 domains dropped Yoast SEO and now run RankMath. That corridor clears every test we apply: RankMath appears on just 0.36% of the domains that kept Yoast but 7.01% of those that left — a 19.6x lift — and the flow runs 3.4 to 1 in RankMath's favour, with 5,271 moving the other way. Of that total, 16,662 moved within the last 90 days and 5,676 within 30.
3,300 more came from All in One SEO Pack, at a 9.4x lift and 3.6:1 directionally, with 3,032 inside 90 days.
For context on how unusual this is: across 44 profiles refreshed in this programme, 41 shipped with no migration data at all, because in most categories products coexist rather than replace each other. SEO plugins cannot coexist — two of them fighting over the same <head> is a misconfiguration, not a stack — so switching here is a real, forced, observable decision.
| Competitor | Gained | Lost | Net |
|---|---|---|---|
| Yoast SEO | +5,676 | 0 | +5,676 |
| All in One SEO Pack | +1,038 | 0 | +1,038 |
Tech Stack of RankMath SEO-Powered Websites
WordPress appears on 99.3% of RankMath domains, which is definitional: the rule matches an asset served from /wp-content/plugins/seo-by-rank-math/. The library layer is WordPress's own — jQuery 88.56%, jQuery Migrate 77.95%, jQuery UI 46.85%.
The differentiating row is Elementor at 47.14%, against 33.22% on Yoast and 34.67% on All in One SEO Pack. RankMath skews noticeably toward page-builder sites, which fits a product that markets a guided setup wizard to users who assemble rather than code. Google Analytics reaches 63.45% and Google Tag Manager 61.44%, both a few points above Yoast's.

Expert Analysis: RankMath SEO Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

With over a decade in web crawling and technographic data analysis, I've examined RankMath across our dataset of 50M+ crawled domains. This analysis draws on 602,371 enriched companies matched from 939,870 detected domains, as of our September 2026 crawl.
1. The only real migration corridor in our corpus
Across 44 technology profiles refreshed in this programme, 41 shipped with no migration data at all. Not because switching never happens, but because in most categories products coexist — a site runs Pendo and Appcues, Formidable Forms and Contact Form 7, Justuno and Privy. When two products can sit side by side, churn data cannot produce a corridor, and a large flow number is a trap: Formidable Forms sent 1,007 domains to Contact Form 7 and still failed the base-rate test, because Contact Form 7 is commoner among the sites that stayed.
SEO plugins are the exception, and the reason is mechanical. Two WordPress SEO plugins cannot coexist — both write the title tag, the canonical URL and the schema graph, so running two produces duplicate and conflicting output. The choice is forced and exclusive, which is exactly the condition a measurable migration requires.
The result is the strongest corridor I have measured on this platform:
- Yoast SEO to RankMath: 18,099 domains. RankMath sits on 0.36% of the domains that kept Yoast and 7.01% of those that left — a 19.6x lift. Direction runs 3.4:1 with 5,271 moving back. 16,662 of those moves happened in the last 90 days.
- All in One SEO Pack to RankMath: 3,300 domains. 9.4x lift, 3.6:1 directionally.
Both reverse directions fail. RankMath to Yoast reads 73% still-both; RankMath to All in One SEO Pack reads 82%. The flow is one-way.
"Forty-one of forty-four profiles had no migration to report. The difference here isn't that SEO buyers are fickle — it's that WordPress only has room for one SEO plugin, so the decision is forced and we can actually see it." - Mehmet Suleyman, Founder at TechnologyChecker.io
2. Growth is not what the raw numbers say
RankMath reads 939,870 domains in August against 760,704 in June. I am not going to call that adoption: our crawled corpus roughly doubled across the same two months, and Yoast and All in One SEO Pack rose in step. Normalised to coverage, all three are close to flat.
The growth evidence is in the corridor and the age curve, not the headline. 23.1% of RankMath's companies were founded in the 2020s, against 16.7% of Yoast's — a six-and-a-half point gap on bases of 602,371 and 2,580,771 enriched companies. RankMath wins the sites that did not exist when Yoast was the only serious option, and it takes a measurable slice of the ones that did.
3. Customer profile: WordPress's curve, not RankMath's
61.74% have 1-10 employees, 24.33% have 11-50, 8.17% have 51-200. Those figures are within two points of both competitors on every band, and that is the point — a plugin installs into a CMS and inherits its distribution. The same applies to industry: Construction leads at 4.96% and nothing reaches 5%.
Sales Signal: firmographic targeting does not discriminate on this base. The usable filters are technographic and temporal — RankMath plus Elementor, or companies founded after 2020.
4. Geography: the least American of the three
The United States is 29.0% of RankMath's base, against Yoast's 31.8% and All in One SEO Pack's 36.2%. Germany reads 10.3% and India 7.2%. Yoast's European profile is differently shaped — France 7.6%, Netherlands 6.8% — which is a home-market effect: Yoast is a Dutch company.
5. Technology ecosystem
WordPress on 99.3% is definitional. The row that discriminates is Elementor at 47.14%, against 33.22% for Yoast and 34.67% for All in One SEO Pack — a fourteen-point gap toward page-builder sites, which fits a product whose main marketing claim is a guided setup wizard. Google Analytics reaches 63.45% and Google Tag Manager 61.44%, both a few points above Yoast.
6. Key takeaways
1. 2nd of 48 at 17.28%, in a category where three WordPress plugins hold 97.31%.
2. 18,099 domains switched from Yoast at a 19.6x lift — the strongest migration corridor in our corpus, and one of only two that pass testing.
3. SEO plugins cannot stack, which is why this category yields switching data where 41 of 44 others yield none.
4. 23.1% of its customers were founded in the 2020s, the youngest base of the three.
5. Elementor on 47.14% — a page-builder skew its competitors do not share.
7. Sales applications
Prospecting template: "Hi [Name], I noticed [Company] runs RankMath on [domain] alongside WordPress and Elementor. We work with teams doing their own SEO on WordPress and help them [value prop]."
Targeting strategy: ignore industry filters — there is no concentration. Filter on RankMath plus Elementor (47.14%) for the page-builder cohort, or on companies founded after 2020 for the segment RankMath is winning outright.
Competitive angle: this is the one category where displacement messaging is supported by the data. 18,099 domains have already made the Yoast-to-RankMath move and 5,676 of them did it in the last 30 days.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who uses RankMath SEO?
We detect RankMath SEO on 939,870 domains, including Veterans Affairs, Mousquetaires Group, Flex. A detection means the technology is present on that domain, which for large organisations is often a single storefront or subdomain rather than a company-wide deployment. Among domains we matched to a company with a resolved industry, the most common is Construction (4.96%).
How many customers does RankMath SEO have?
We detect 939,870 domains running RankMath SEO across our monthly crawl of live business domains. Company data could be matched for 602,371 of them (64.1%), and every company-size, industry and country breakdown on this page describes that matched subset rather than the full detected base. A further 81,304 domains carried a RankMath SEO detection previously and no longer do.
What is RankMath SEO's market share?
RankMath SEO holds 17.28% of the SEO Tools category, ranking #2. This is a share of the domains we detect running a platform in this category — not a share of all websites, and not a share of spending — so it is not directly comparable to figures published on other denominators.
What are the best alternatives to RankMath SEO?
The top alternatives to RankMath SEO include Yoast SEO (68.87% market share), All in One SEO Pack (11.16% market share), Ahrefs (0.94% market share), Baidu Push (0.42% market share) — measured as a share of the domains we detect running a platform in this category.
Which countries use RankMath SEO the most?
United States leads with 130,165 matched RankMath SEO domains, followed by Germany (46,166), United Kingdom (45,230), India (32,319), Spain (30,197). These are counts within the 602,371 domains we could match to a company record, not the full detected base.
What size companies use RankMath SEO?
The most common company size is 1-10 employees, representing 63.36% of the RankMath SEO domains we could match to a company record and size — a subset of 602,371 matched companies, not of all 939,870 detected domains. This is followed by 11-50 employees (24.33%) and 51-200 employees (8.17%).
How old are companies that use RankMath SEO?
Among the RankMath SEO domains we could match to a company with a known founding date, the largest group was founded in the 2010s (38.84%), followed by the 2020s (23.11%). That matched subset is drawn from 602,371 companies and is not representative of all 939,870 detected domains. This suggests RankMath SEO is most popular among relatively young companies.
What is the ideal customer profile for RankMath SEO?
The ideal RankMath SEO customer is: Company Size: 1-10 employees, Platform: WordPress, Location: US, Germany, or UK, Founded: 2010-2029, Page builder: Elementor — based on our analysis of 602,371 enriched companies at TechnologyChecker.io.
What is RankMath SEO?
RankMath is a WordPress SEO plugin launched in 2018 by MyThemeShop. It handles schema markup, sitemaps, redirects, keyword tracking and social metadata, and its free tier covers much of what competitors reserve for paid plans. We detect it on 939,870 domains, making it the second-largest technology in our SEO Tools category at 17.28%.
How many websites use RankMath?
Our September 2026 crawl detects RankMath on 1,013,698 live domains, with 939,870 in the August monthly rollup that market share is computed on. The detection matches an asset request from /wp-content/plugins/seo-by-rank-math/ or the plugin's schema script, so it only fires when a crawled page actually rendered RankMath's output.
Is RankMath better than Yoast SEO?
Our data cannot judge quality, but it can measure what people do. 18,099 domains dropped Yoast SEO and now run RankMath, against 5,271 moving the other way — a 3.4:1 flow with a 19.6x base-rate lift, which is the strongest migration corridor we have measured on any technology. Yoast remains four times larger at 3,746,462 domains. The honest summary is that Yoast leads decisively on installed base while RankMath is the one taking accounts.
Can I run RankMath and Yoast SEO at the same time?
In practice, no. Both plugins write the title tag, canonical URL and schema graph, so running both produces duplicate and conflicting output that search engines have to reconcile. That exclusivity is why this category shows real migration data: 13,990 domains do currently register both, but that usually indicates a migration in progress rather than a deliberate pairing.
What is RankMath's market share?
RankMath holds 17.28% of the SEO Tools category with 939,870 domains, ranking 2nd of 48 behind Yoast SEO (68.87%) and ahead of All in One SEO Pack (11.16%). Those three hold 97.31% of the category's 5.44 million domains between them; fourth place, Ahrefs, is a different kind of product at 0.94%.
Who uses RankMath?
Small organisations, mostly: 61.74% of matched companies have 1-10 employees and 24.33% have 11-50. The industry mix is almost flat — Construction leads at just 4.96% — because a WordPress plugin inherits WordPress's distribution rather than expressing a market of its own. Larger detected users include NASA, the US Department of Veterans Affairs, Turkish Airlines and Flex.
Which countries use RankMath the most?
