Companies Using Lodgify

I'm Emma Davies, a data analyst at TechnologyChecker.io, and I built this profile from our September 2026 crawl. We find Lodgify on 4,657 live websites, and 1,025 of them match a company record. That match rate, about 22%, is low for a reason worth saying up front: a family letting two cottages rarely has a LinkedIn page. Lodgify doesn't publish a customer count; its About page says hosts in more than 180 countries use it. Our guide to technology detection methods explains how a script on a page becomes a detection.

What the count is

Lodgify sells a channel manager, a booking engine and a website builder, and only the website is visible from outside. We loaded 60 random Lodgify domains. 29 answered with a bot check, and all 31 that loaded were websites Lodgify builds and hosts on the owner's domain. Across the whole count, a library Lodgify's site code uses (Emotion) appears on 96.4% of domains, so at most about 3.6% are a Lodgify widget on a site built elsewhere.

We also looked for operator fleets, one company behind dozens of domains, and found none. No company record covers three or more domains, and the most common page title is "Home", on 1,473 sites. On Lodgify's current pricing page the website builder starts with the Starter plan, so 4,657 is roughly a count of owners on a website plan. Hosts who use Lodgify only to sync Airbnb and Vrbo calendars don't show up.

Growth trajectory

The chart reads 5,165 in June 2026, 4,870 in July, 4,752 in August and 4,657 in September. The set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with dead sites dropping out and new ones added, and our detection signals widen, so the drop mixes changes on our side with real closures. It isn't new coverage inflating the base either: only 4.27% of today's sites were first seen in August or September. Since March 2026, 915 domains dropped Lodgify. Only 18 of them now run WordPress and 10 Squarespace, and 29 show Lodgify's error page for a closed site.

Sales Signal: Treat the base as stable to slightly shrinking, and time outreach for the months before the letting season, when owners look at their sites again.

Customer profile

This is a micro-business product. Of matched companies with a size on record, 91.55% have 1 to 10 employees and 7.85% have 11 to 50. The one 10,001+ row is a holiday lodge in England matched to the wrong company record. Founding years are recent: 44.44% in the 2020s and 42.40% in the 2010s. Lodgify's plans fit this buyer, since Basic covers one property and Starter two.

Even the best-known names are small. NOCNOC lets short-stay apartments in seven French cities. No Laying Up, a golf media company, lets its Birdhouse at Sweetens Cove from a Lodgify-built site, and RollAway sells "luxury stays on wheels" through Lodgify's checkout.

Sales Signal: The buyer is the owner, who runs the business without staff to spare. Anything sold to them has to be self-serve and priced per property.

Industry and geographic concentration

Hospitality leads at 47.75%, but property companies are a strong second: Real Estate (18.09%), Leasing Residential Real Estate (2.01%) and Real Estate and Equipment Rental Services (1.30%) make 21.40%. Owners who let homes often register as property businesses. By country the US leads with 272 matched companies, then the UK (138), France (85), Spain (83) and Canada (62). The five largest European countries in the list, the UK, France, Spain, Germany (48) and Italy (37), add up to 391, well ahead of the US.

Sales Signal: A European-language offer reaches much of this base. French, Spanish and German default page titles alone appear on 362 Lodgify sites in our crawl.

Why there is no migration table

We looked for owners moving between Lodgify and other rental tools and found almost nothing. The largest flows since March 2026 go to general website builders, WordPress (18) and Squarespace (10), with Duda and Wix at 5 between them. Guesty, Smoobu and OwnerRez each come to about zero. We don't yet have verified counts for Guesty or Hostaway, so a switch to either could be missed, but nothing reached the 50-domain floor we set before publishing a flow.

Sales Signal: Rivals won't find a pool of switchers in the crawl. A better target is the 6.53% of Lodgify owners who also run WordPress and already maintain two systems.

Technology ecosystem

Lodgify builds the site, so owners add little. Google Tag Manager is on 57.42% and Google Analytics on 57.10%. GoDaddy appears on 23.03%, most likely as the domain or DNS provider. Email is Google Workspace (10.80%) or Microsoft 365 (8.47%). WordPress (6.53%), Elementor (3.43%) and Squarespace (2.52%) mark owners with a main site elsewhere, who put Lodgify on a booking subdomain. We leave out the libraries Lodgify's own site code loads.

Sales Signal: Only 10.80% of these owners run Google Workspace, so business email and domain bundles for very small businesses have room here.

Review signals

Lodgify rates 4.3 out of 5 from 83 G2 reviews (September 27, 2026): 73% five stars, 15% four stars and 6% one star. Its pricing page cites a 4.8 average across more than 5,000 reviews on Capterra, G2 and Trustpilot combined, a figure we haven't checked. Most public comparison pages are written by rivals, Guesty, Hostaway, Hospitable and Smoobu among them, so read those as sales material.

Sales Signal: Ratings are good and switching is rare, so selling alongside Lodgify, with pricing or messaging tools, is easier than selling against it.
