Companies Using Allyant

Our database tracks 1,893 websites using Allyant, and the first thing worth saying is that Allyant isn't an accessibility overlay. It's a document accessibility and remediation business: PDFs fixed at the source so a screen reader can parse them, alternate formats such as braille and large print, and auditing carried out by people who use assistive technology daily. Thompson Street Capital assembled it from T-Base Communications, CommonLook and Accessible360.

The service model shows up in who buys it. Brands that use Allyant include Veterans Affairs, UnitedHealth Group, Walgreens and Spectrum, and healthcare dominates the vertical mix, with Medical Practices the largest vertical at 35.39% of the top ten industries we display. Allyant holds a 0.44% share of the Accessibility Tools category and ranks #10 of 32.

The number that separates it from everything else in this category is churn. Only 77 domains have dropped Allyant since March 2026, 3.9% of the 1,979 we have ever seen it on, the second-lowest rate among the ten vendors we profiled. Detection data refreshed from our monthly crawl of 29.9M active domains.

Allyant Usage Statistics

Allyant first appears in our long-run detection history in January 2020 on a single domain, reaching 644 by July 2025. Our own crawler then picked it up at 1,734 domains in June 2026 and 1,893 in August 2026. Mind the gap in the chart: the series splices two measurement systems, so the step across it is wider coverage rather than a wave of new customers. Inside the crawl the growth is 1.09x, against a corpus that grew 1.18x over the same months, which is a slow loss of relative share.

List of Companies Using Allyant

Our verified list of companies using Allyant on TechnologyChecker.io runs from federal agencies to grocery chains. Brands that use Allyant include Veterans Affairs, Walgreens, 7-Eleven and Chipotle Mexican Grill. One pattern is hard to miss in the table: most websites using Allyant show the detection on a careers or jobs subdomain rather than on the root domain, which is where large employers publish the application PDFs and policy documents that have to work with a screen reader.

Which Countries Use Allyant the Most?

Which countries use Allyant the most? The United States accounts for 62.94% of enriched companies that have a country on file, with Canada second at 14.29% and the United Kingdom third at 7.99%. Canada's slice is unusually large for a vendor whose marquee accounts are US federal and healthcare. After that the tail thins fast, through Finland (1.91%), Australia (1.49%) and France (1.41%).

Allyant Market Share Among Accessibility Tools

What is Allyant's market share? Allyant holds 0.44% of the Accessibility Tools category and ranks #10 of the 32 technologies we track there, far behind UserWay (36.29%) and accessiBe (23.84%). That comparison flatters the widget vendors. A script tag installs across thousands of sites in an afternoon, while remediation work is scoped per contract, so share of detected domains understates the revenue sitting behind each Allyant detection.

Allyant Customers by Company Size & Age

Is Allyant only for large organisations? The data says no. 45.21% of enriched companies have ten or fewer employees and another 25.68% sit in the 11 to 50 band, so roughly seven in ten are under 50 people, based on the 1,440 companies we matched to headcount records. The giants are still there, just rare: 40 companies at 10,001+ staff, which is where Veterans Affairs, UnitedHealth Group and Walgreens land.

What Industries Use Allyant the Most?

Medical Practices is the largest vertical at 35.39% of the top ten industries we display, with Hospitals and Health Care second at 24.82%. Put those two together and healthcare is just over 60% of that top ten, a concentration we rarely see outside vertical software. Hospitality (6.87%) and Retail (6.16%) follow, and no other vertical passes 5.2%.

Medical Practices201 (35.39%)
Hospitals and Health Care141 (24.82%)
Hospitality39 (6.87%)
Retail35 (6.16%)
Non-profit Organizations29 (5.11%)
Wellness and Fitness Services28 (4.93%)

Medical practices using Allyant lead the top ten at 35.39%, which fits a vendor whose core product is fixing documents. Patient forms and benefit statements are exactly the PDFs that fail an audit. Hospitals and health care organisations using Allyant add another 24.82%, and the named accounts agree: UnitedHealth Group, Northwell Health and Commonspirit all show detections on patient-facing or career subdomains. Non-profit Organizations (5.11%) and Wellness and Fitness Services (4.93%) are smaller but share the same buying pattern, where an accessibility complaint arrives as a document problem rather than a page problem.

Allyant Alternatives & Competitors

The five vendors nearest Allyant in our category data are all overlay products: UserWay (36.29%), accessiBe (23.84%), AudioEye (15.14%), Pojo.me (12.53%) and Nagich (2.76%). They aren't substitutes in any practical sense. A widget script and a remediated PDF answer different halves of the same obligation, and buyers who compare them on price alone tend to learn the difference during a complaint rather than before one.

Allyant Customer Migration

Since March 2026 our crawler has watched 77 domains drop Allyant, 3.9% of the 1,979 we have ever recorded it on and the second-lowest churn rate in this category. Only 6 of those 77 (7.8%) picked up another accessibility tool, five moving to UserWay and one to accessiBe. The other 71 replaced it with nothing at all. That is the pattern across the whole category, where sites remove accessibility tooling far more often than they swap vendors, so the honest question here isn't which product wins a bake-off but whether the work carries on.

Expert Analysis: Allyant Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

Mehmet Suleyman
Mehmet SuleymanCEO & Co-founder, TechnologyChecker

I've spent more than a decade building crawlers and technographic systems, and Allyant is the one profile in this category that breaks the pattern the others follow. Our August 2026 crawl found it on 1,893 active domains and matched 1,440 of them to enriched company records, a 76.1% match rate. Everything below comes from that dataset plus the churn our crawler has watched directly since 16 March 2026.

Growth trajectory

Allyant enters our long-run detection history in January 2020 on a single domain and reaches 644 by July 2025. Our own crawler then reports 1,734 in June 2026 and 1,893 in both July and August. The step between those two blocks is the seam between measurement systems, so read it as coverage rather than customers. What matters is the ratio inside the crawl: 1.09x over three months, against a corpus that grew 1.18x from 321.0M to 380.0M active detections. Normalised, that's 0.93x, a slow loss of relative share while the absolute count still rises. The 2024 to 2025 dip on the chart is an artifact of the older feed shrinking its own universe, not a decline.

"A detection count that rises while the corpus rises faster is the easiest number in this business to misread. Allyant's absolute growth looks healthy. Its relative position is drifting down, and that's the honest read." - Mehmet Suleyman, Founder at TechnologyChecker.io

Sales Signal: Allyant sits at 1,893 domains against UserWay's 156,255, so this isn't a volume play. Its customer list is a qualified-buyer list, because these organisations already fund accessibility work, which is the hardest part of the sale.

Customer profile

The size distribution reads small, with 45.21% of enriched companies at ten or fewer employees and 25.68% in the 11 to 50 band. Sort the same detections by headcount, though, and the top is Veterans Affairs, UnitedHealth Group, Allied Universal, Spectrum and Walgreens, every one at 10,001+ staff. Two books of business live in one dataset: a long tail of small clinics and practices, and a short head of federal agencies and very large employers. Age backs the second group up. Only 15.32% of matched companies were founded in the 2020s, while 30.99% date to the 2010s and 9.68% predate 1990, with Travelers going back to 1853.

Sales Signal: Segment before writing anything. The 632 companies under ten staff and the 40 above 10,001 share only a document obligation, and a message built for one reads as noise to the other.

Industry and geographic concentration

Healthcare dominates. Medical Practices is the largest vertical at 35.39% of the top ten industries we display, and Hospitals and Health Care adds 24.82%, so just over 60% of that top ten is a single sector. Hospitality (6.87%) and Retail (6.16%) trail well behind. Geographically the United States takes 62.94% of enriched companies with a country on file and Canada takes 14.29%, a Canadian share that stands out for a vendor whose marquee accounts are US federal. The United Kingdom is third at 7.99%, then a thin tail through Finland (1.91%) and Australia (1.49%). Remediation needs a scope and a delivery team, and that does not cross borders the way a script tag does.

Sales Signal: Filter our detections to medical and hospital organisations in the US and Canada and you have most of Allyant's revenue base in a single list.

Migration patterns

Here Allyant separates from the rest of the category. Since 16 March 2026 we have watched 77 domains drop Allyant, 3.9% of the 1,979 we have ever recorded it on and the second-lowest churn rate among the ten vendors we profiled. Of those 77, only 6 picked up another accessibility tool, five going to UserWay and one to accessiBe. Inbound runs a little ahead at 10 domains, four of them from UserWay. Category-wide, between 0.7% and 3.5% of churn lands on a rival, so Allyant's 7.8% is at the top of that range, though six switches is too small a number to lean on hard.

"Seventy-one domains dropped Allyant and bought nothing to replace it. That's the finding of this whole category. Buyers aren't picking between vendors, they're deciding whether to keep doing the work at all." - Mehmet Suleyman, Founder at TechnologyChecker.io

Sales Signal: Churn here is a budget event, not a competitive loss. Those 71 domains are a renewal-risk list for Allyant and a re-engagement list for anyone selling accessibility services on a lighter commercial model.

Technology ecosystem

WordPress runs on 66.4% of Allyant domains and Drupal on 6.2%, with Google Analytics at 87.38%. Drupal at that level is a public sector and higher education signal, and the .gov and .edu detections in our set agree. Consent tooling is thinner than the healthcare mix would predict: OneTrust 8.41%, CookieYes 4.99%, Cookiebot 2.79%. Ecommerce is nearly absent, with Shopify at 4.05%. These buyers publish documents. They mostly don't sell online.

Sales Signal: Two-thirds of this base runs WordPress, so a WordPress-native audit or remediation workflow reaches most of Allyant's long tail with no custom integration.

What the review sites cannot tell you

We normally place review aggregate scores beside our detection data. Allyant has a G2 listing but too few reviews on it for G2 to publish its pros and cons summary, which is itself informative: the three firms it was assembled from sold through procurement and RFPs, not through a software marketplace where buyers leave star ratings. Review scores in accessibility measure the buying experience: onboarding, support response times, dashboard polish. They cannot measure the thing being bought, which is whether the output survives a screen reader or a legal complaint. The FTC filed a complaint against accessiBe in January 2025 over what its AI overlay claimed, and the $1M settlement became final that April. AudioEye has sued accessiBe for patent infringement. Courts have declined to treat overlay widgets as an ADA defence, and 3,117 federal website accessibility lawsuits were filed in 2025. None of that shows up in a star rating. Behaviour does, and Allyant's 3.9% churn is a revealed preference in a category where removal is the normal exit. If you want to see how these detections are produced, we wrote up our technology detection methods.

Sales Signal: With an FTC order and a live patent suit in this category, procurement teams are unusually open to evidence. Lead with audit methodology and named references rather than a feature grid.

Key takeaways

  • Allyant is a document remediation service, not an overlay, so domain-count comparisons against widget vendors measure the wrong thing.
  • 1,893 active domains, 0.44% category share, rank #10 of 32.
  • 1.09x growth against a 1.18x corpus is a slow loss of relative share.
  • Medical Practices and Hospitals together are just over 60% of the top ten industries.
  • Churn is 3.9%, and 71 of the 77 departures replaced Allyant with nothing at all.

Sales applications

The outreach angle is the churn asymmetry. Allyant customers stay, so the ones who leave are worth asking about, and 71 of them currently run no accessibility vendor at all. The targeting filter is narrow and clean: US or Canadian healthcare organisations on WordPress or Drupal that already pay for a consent tool, which describes a buyer with a compliance budget and a named owner. The competitive angle is awkward for the overlay vendors, since UserWay shed 16,077 domains over the same window in which Allyant shed 77.

The full detection set for Allyant, with the company list, migration table and co-occurrence stack, is on TechnologyChecker.io and refreshes with our monthly crawl of 29.9M active domains.

The ideal Allyant customer is: Company Size: 1-10 employees, Location: United States or Canada, City: New York or Washington, DC, Founded: 2000-2019, Company Age: ~7-26 years old — based on our analysis of 1,440 enriched companies at TechnologyChecker.io.

What does Allyant actually do?

Allyant is a document accessibility and remediation company rather than a website overlay. Its work covers remediating PDFs so screen readers can parse them, plus alternate formats such as braille and audits run by testers who use assistive technology. Our crawl detects it on 1,893 sites, most often on career and patient-facing subdomains where large employers publish their documents.

Is Allyant an accessibility overlay?

No. Overlays like UserWay and accessiBe inject a JavaScript widget that tries to patch a page at runtime. Allyant sells human remediation work: files and documents are fixed at the source, then handed back to you in an accessible form. That difference matters legally, because courts have declined to accept overlay widgets as an ADA defence.

How much does Allyant cost?

Allyant doesn't publish list pricing, which is normal for a services business. Remediation work of this kind is usually quoted per project, and audits are scoped by the size of the property under review, so two buyers with the same page count can pay very different amounts. Ask for a sample remediated file before signing, and check allyant.com for current packages.

Will using Allyant prevent an ADA lawsuit?

Nothing prevents a lawsuit outright. What accessibility work changes is your position once one arrives: remediated documents and a dated audit trail are evidence a court can weigh, while an overlay widget has repeatedly failed as a defence. There were 3,117 federal website accessibility lawsuits filed in 2025, so the base rate is not small.

Does Allyant help with WCAG conformance?

Yes, that's the core of the offer. WCAG applies to documents as well as pages, and a PDF exported from a word processor often carries no tag structure, so a screen reader reads it as an unordered blur. Allyant's remediation and auditing work targets that gap, though conformance stays a property of your content rather than of any vendor you hire.

Is an accessibility overlay enough on its own?

Our data suggests buyers don't think so. Across the accessibility category, sites remove overlay widgets far more often than they replace them, and the FTC's January 2025 complaint against accessiBe, settled for $1M in April 2025, went directly to what an AI overlay can honestly claim. An overlay is a supplement to real remediation work, never a substitute.

Does Allyant cover Section 508 requirements?

Section 508 governs federal agencies and their contractors, and it's the reason a document remediation vendor ends up with this customer list. Veterans Affairs is among our detections, alongside large employers whose federal contracts pull the same obligation through. Allyant's PDF and alternate format work is aimed at that requirement, but validate scope against your own contract language.

What about the European Accessibility Act?

The EAA pulls private sector digital products into scope across the EU, which widens the document problem well beyond public bodies. Allyant's detected footprint is still overwhelmingly North American, with the United States at 62.94% of enriched companies and Canada at 14.29%, so European buyers should ask directly about delivery capacity in their own languages and time zones.

Does Allyant work with WordPress or Drupal sites?

Yes, and most of its base already runs one of them. Our crawl finds WordPress on 66.4% of Allyant domains and Drupal on 6.2%. Because the service operates on documents and content rather than on your theme or templates, CMS choice barely constrains the engagement, which is the practical difference between hiring a remediation team and installing a widget.

How does Allyant compare to UserWay?

They aren't really competitors. UserWay is an overlay widget on 156,255 domains at 36.29% category share; Allyant is a remediation service on 1,893 domains at 0.44%. Domain count flatters the widget, because a script installs in minutes while remediation is scoped per contract. On TechnologyChecker.io we track both, but read them as different product classes.

What happens if you remove Allyant from your site?

The detection disappears, and so does the ongoing remediation of new content. Documents already fixed stay fixed, which is a real difference from an overlay, where removal reverts the page immediately. Our crawl has seen 77 domains drop Allyant since March 2026, and 71 of them picked up no replacement at all, which usually signals a budget decision.

Who owns Allyant?

Allyant is a Thompson Street Capital portfolio company, assembled from three earlier businesses: T-Base Communications, CommonLook and Accessible360. That history explains the product range, since each brought a different specialism into the group. It also fits the customer mix we detect, which leans heavily toward federal agencies and healthcare organisations rather than the small ecommerce sites overlays collect.

Why do so many Allyant detections sit on careers subdomains?

Look at the detection URLs in our table and the pattern is obvious: jobs.walgreens.com, careers.unitedhealthgroup.com, jobs.spectrum.com. Job application flows are where large employers publish PDFs, benefit summaries and policy documents, and they carry direct hiring discrimination exposure if a candidate using a screen reader can't complete them. That's the sharpest edge of the document accessibility problem.

How is document remediation different from an automated accessibility scan?

A scanner reports failures it can detect automatically. Remediation is the fixing step, done by people, on files that a scanner can only flag. Allyant also runs testing with users of assistive technology, which catches problems that pass every automated check and still stop a real person from reading a document. The two approaches answer different questions.
