Companies Using Bazaarvoice

I read Bazaarvoice in our September 2026 crawl expecting a small number with big names behind it, and that's roughly what it is once the copied gambling pages are out. A domain counts when its pages load Bazaarvoice's client script or expose its JavaScript API. On that basis 7,799 live domains run Bazaarvoice and 3,629 of them (46.5%) match a company record. Everything below is computed on that set.

A copied storefront

Before the cleaning, the count was far higher. 5,134 domains carrying Bazaarvoice's script were Indonesian gambling pages, and most were copies of one real shop: the Foot Locker Indonesia storefront run by MAP Active, Bazaarvoice deployment included. The copies also carried the same seven unrelated scripts, a combination real Bazaarvoice sites almost never have, which is how we found the ones without a gambling title. That was 39.7% of the raw live count. Our category table still shows the raw figure, 12,005, until the same correction reaches it.

Sales signal: any Bazaarvoice list pulled without this cleaning is two fifths gambling pages. Check the page before a domain goes into a sequence.

One reading, no trend line

The usage chart has a single September point. Our earlier monthly totals include the network, most of which first appeared in August and September, so joining them to 7,799 would draw the network's growth, not Bazaarvoice's. The domains we crawl also turn over every month, dead sites out and new ones in, and our detection widens over time, which moves any line by itself. Exits we can count: 1,359 domains dropped Bazaarvoice since we began tracking it in March 2026.

Sales signal: treat the base as a steady pool of about 7,800 domains. Nothing here supports pitching it as a growing segment.

Accounts, not domains

Bazaarvoice puts the client's account name in the script address, so for 3,580 domains we can see whose deployment it is. They belong to 1,519 distinct accounts, about 2.4 domains each, and the spread is uneven. 942 accounts sit on one domain. 48 accounts hold ten or more, 1,013 domains between them. Target's account covers 125 domains, and 123 of them are typo and defensive registrations such as terget.com that redirect to target.com. IHG's account covers 121 hotel sites. An account for AVB and BrandSource appliance dealers has 55.

Redirects run through the whole list. Of the domains that answered, 32.9% forward to another domain that is itself on the Bazaarvoice list: 123 to target.com, 57 to medela.com, 43 to intuit.com. Collapse them and 7,799 domains become 5,229 distinct sites.

Sales signal: dedupe by account or final domain before sizing a campaign. Target is one buyer, not 125.

Who the customers are

Size is where Bazaarvoice parts company with the review apps next to it. 285 matched companies have more than 1,000 employees, 8.35% of those with a known size. Yotpo Reviews, on 49,319 domains, has 182; Okendo has 30 and Stamped 23. The customers are old, too: 17.43% were founded before 1960, against 4.05% on Yotpo Reviews and about 2% on Loox, Okendo and Stamped. Holland America (1873), Del Monte Foods (1886) and Hill's Pet Nutrition (1907) are on the list.

Retail leads at 17.68%, much as it does on the other review apps. Manufacturing is what stands out, at 11.70% against 7.20% on Okendo and 6.81% on Stamped, because Bazaarvoice sells to the brands that make the goods as well as the shops that sell them. Hospitality looks large at 4.35%, but 81 of its 133 companies are IHG hotel sites on one account. The United States has 2,427 matched companies, almost exactly ten times Canada's 243.

Sales signal: the buyer is an ecommerce or brand team inside a large US retailer or manufacturer. Expect procurement and a long sales cycle.

Syndication, and what a crawl can't see

Bazaarvoice's case to brands is syndication: reviews collected on the brand's site get copied onto the product pages of retailers that stock the item. Its syndication guidelines (updated 22 September 2026) match products by GTIN, UPC or EAN and hold syndicated reviews for seven days by default, so the brand's own page shows them first. The retail syndication page claims a network of more than 2,300 retailers.

Our crawl sees the other half of that arrangement only where it lands on a site. A retailer that displays syndicated reviews loads Bazaarvoice and is counted, which is why retailer fleets show up, such as expert.de's store pages. A brand that sends reviews into the network but shows nothing on its own site isn't counted. So this page can't measure syndication volume, and it doesn't try.

Sales signal: for a brand, the retailers on this list are the reason to buy. For an agency, a brand with Bazaarvoice on its own site and retailers in the network is a syndication account, and the product feed is where the work is.

Second review tools and exits

493 Bazaarvoice domains (6.32%) also run Yotpo Reviews, 335 run Trustpilot and 229 run Judge.me. Since March, 118 domains that dropped Bazaarvoice now run Yotpo, against 72 going the other way. That lean doesn't pass our switching tests: 69.1% of domains ever seen with both still run both, and for Judge.me it's 71.1%. So this page has no migration table.

Sales signal: a site paying for Bazaarvoice and a second review app is a consolidation conversation. Pitch it on cost. There's no wave of departures to point at.

The store stack

Shopify runs on 41.93% of Bazaarvoice domains. Some of those are big brands' Shopify stores, Panasonic's, Revlon's and Staples Canada's among them, and the rest are smaller brands on Bazaarvoice's Shopify app. Salesforce Commerce Cloud runs on 415 domains (5.32%), and on our Salesforce Commerce Cloud profile Bazaarvoice is the top review tool at 8.57%. OneTrust sits on 35.36%, and Klaviyo on 33.26%. 584 domains also run Bazaarvoice Curation, the social-content product that came from Curalate.

Sales signal: a third of the base runs OneTrust, so a privacy team will read anything sold here before a buyer signs. Commerce Cloud partners will find Bazaarvoice already installed at many of their clients.

What merchants say

Bazaarvoice doesn't publish prices. Its pricing page lists Essentials, Advanced and Enterprise packages with no figures, and puts retail syndication in Enterprise (27 September 2026). The Shopify app is free to install, but the listing tells merchants to contact Bazaarvoice to set up the account, and it rates 3.8 out of 5 from 15 reviews. The newest, from 17 September 2026, complains that the app did nothing until Bazaarvoice enabled the account. Fifteen reviews is a thin sample, and it fits a product sold through a sales team rather than an app store.

Sales signal: Bazaarvoice's weak spot is the self-serve buyer. Its strength is the retailer network, and that's what an enterprise buyer is paying for.
