Companies Using Recharts
Our October 2026 crawl finds a rendered Recharts chart on 5,602 live domains. Recharts is a free React library released under the MIT licence, so that's a count of websites, not paying customers, and it's a floor: dashboards behind a login are invisible to us. Below is the list of companies that use Recharts on pages we can load, with size, country, industry and stack. It includes Cboe Global Markets, whose homepage plots the VIX and the S&P 500 with it, Loblaw's share-price chart, the Moscow Exchange and the U.S. Treasury's Fiscal Data site.
Recharts ranks 10th of the 55 technologies we track in Charting & Data Visualization, with 1.15%. Chart.js leads on 323,384 domains. The sites around Recharts look alike: 90.33% run Tailwind CSS and 49.75% run shadcn/ui, whose chart component is built on Recharts. 64.56% of the companies we matched have 10 or fewer staff.

Recharts Usage Statistics
Recharts reads 2,925 domains in June 2026, then 3,755 in July, 4,336 in August, 5,469 in September and 5,602 in October. Don't read that as adoption nearly doubling. Counts are not a like-for-like series: the set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with dead sites dropping out and new ones added, and our detection widens over time, so the steps reflect changes on our side, both the domains we cover and the signals we detect Recharts with, rather than a surge in new charts. Since we began tracking it on 16 March 2026, 1,427 domains have lost Recharts on at least one hostname; when we re-checked on 12 October, about 130 of them still showed it on another.
List of Companies Using Recharts
Our list of companies using Recharts names 50 of the 2,923 matched companies, ranked by LinkedIn following. We opened every row in October 2026 and replaced five: four carried a company record that didn't match the site (one of them no longer drew a chart either), and one blocked our check. 27 of the 50 show Recharts on a subdomain, such as a status page (status.wistia.com, status.agora.io), an ROI calculator or an investor site like ir.swmansion.com.
Across all websites using Recharts it's the other way round. When we re-checked on 12 October, 4,584 of 5,673 live Recharts domains carried it on the main site or www, which fits a base of small companies charting on their main site.

Recharts' own homepage lists shadcn/ui, Ahrefs and Alibaba's data products among its users. Those are the project's references, separate from the detections above.
Which Countries Use Recharts the Most?
Which countries use Recharts the most? The United States, with 691 matched companies, then India (268), the United Kingdom (146), Brazil (137) and Canada (84). Germany (77) and France (75) are close behind, and the United Arab Emirates (39) places ahead of Switzerland (31) and Singapore (29). These counts cover the 2,923 domains we matched to a company, so they show where the companies are based, not where their users are.
Share of the 2,923 Recharts domains we matched to a company record — 52.2% of the 5,602 we detect. Top 15 countries shown, so these do not sum to 100%. Domains with no matching company record are not represented here and skew small and independent.
Recharts Market Share Among Charting & Data Visualization
What is Recharts's market share? 1.15% of Charting & Data Visualization, 10th of the 55 technologies we track there, by our live crawl at TechnologyChecker.io. Chart.js holds 66.4% on 323,384 domains, about 58 times Recharts' 5,602. Highcharts (25,341), ApexCharts.js (23,328) and D3 (20,719) sit between them, and ECharts (4,689) is slightly smaller. We count Recharts only where a chart is drawn on a page we can load, so the share describes public chart pages, not every React app that installs it.
Top Competitors by Market Share
Recharts Customers by Company Size & Age
What size companies use Recharts? Mostly very small ones. 64.56% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 25.78% have 11 to 50, so 90.34% have 50 or fewer. Only 28 have more than 1,000 staff (14, 4 and 10 in the three largest bands). The ones we opened put Recharts on one public page each: Loblaw's share-price chart on www.loblaw.ca, Cboe's index charts and the deficit and spending charts on fiscaldata.treasury.gov.
Company Size Distribution
Company Age (Founded Decade)
The 2020s are the largest founding decade: 53.31% of matched companies with a known founding year started in 2020 or later, and 34.56% in the 2010s. That's young even next to ECharts, where 25.9% date from the 2020s. The older tail is thin, 1.12% from the 1980s and 0.56% from before 1960, and it includes the U.S. Department of the Treasury (founded 1789) and the Macedonian drug maker Alkaloid (1936).
What Industries Use Recharts the Most?
Software Development leads at 13.01%, with Financial Services close behind at 12.65%. Add Technology, Information and Internet (9.31%) and IT Services and IT Consulting (7.63%), and software and IT make up 29.95% of matched companies. The finance slice is bigger than its one row: Blockchain Services (2.04%) and Investment Management (1.79%) take it to 16.48%, based on our enriched company data.
Financial services companies using Recharts that we opened use it for public price and market charts. Cboe's homepage plots the VIX and the S&P 500, the Moscow Exchange charts quotes on moex.com, BMA Capital shows a price chart on its trading site and NAGA shows its share price on group.naga.com. Crypto firms on Recharts do the same, as GSR does with Bitcoin and Ethereum prices on advisory.gsr.io. Software companies using Recharts often put it in sales tools, such as the ROI calculators at roi.prophix.com and roi.xentral.com.
Recharts Alternatives & Competitors
Most of this table is bigger than Recharts and only partly a substitute for it. Chart.js (66.4%) works with any framework and draws on a canvas; Highcharts (5.2%), ApexCharts.js (4.79%) and D3 (4.25%) are all larger too. The libraries rarely replace each other on a site. Today 63 domains run Recharts and Chart.js together, 27 run it with ApexCharts.js, 14 with Highcharts and 13 with ECharts, and none of those pairs showed a switching flow that passed our checks. For a React team, the closer alternatives are other React options such as Nivo, Visx or a Chart.js wrapper.
Recharts Customer Migration
Tech Stack of Recharts-Powered Websites
Across the 5,628 live Recharts domains in our clean set, the stack is close to uniform. Tailwind CSS runs on 90.33%, Radix UI on 59.2% and shadcn/ui on 49.75%; shadcn/ui's chart component is built on Recharts, which likely explains much of the overlap. Next.js (52.77%) and React Router (36.05%) are the better floors for the React share, since our direct React signal reads only 10.27%. Vercel hosts 32.85%, Google Analytics runs on 45.98% and Vercel Analytics on 9.67%.

Expert Analysis: Recharts Growth Trends & Key Signals for Sales Teams in 2026

I've spent more than ten years crawling websites and turning what we find into lists sales teams can use, and Recharts is one of the clearest cases of a count that means something different from what it looks like. As of our October 2026 crawl, TechnologyChecker.io finds a rendered Recharts chart on 5,602 live domains, and 2,923 of them match a company record, a 52.2% match rate. Recharts is a free React library released under the MIT licence (GitHub), so none of those are customers of anyone. They are websites that draw at least one Recharts chart on a page we can load.
What the signal sees, and what it can't
Our rule looks for the SVG surface Recharts draws for every chart. That makes it precise: a page only matches if a chart is drawn on it. It also makes the count a floor. React charts often live inside products, behind a login, and we only see public pages. The npm numbers show the size of that gap: npm recorded 56,022,877 Recharts downloads in the week of 4 to 10 October 2026, against 6,180,133 for ECharts, about nine times as many. Our public domain counts for the two differ by only about 1.2 times (5,602 against 4,689). Downloads include build servers and aren't sites, but a ratio that lopsided suggests most Recharts use happens where no crawler goes.
Sales Signal: Treat a Recharts detection as a confirmed React team that ships charts, not as a measure of how big the Recharts market is. For every public chart we find, there are likely private dashboards on the same codebase.
Growth trajectory
The chart reads 2,925 domains in June 2026, 3,755 in July, 4,336 in August, 5,469 in September and 5,602 in October. That isn't an adoption curve. Counts are not a like-for-like series over time: the set of domains we crawl turns over every month, with dead sites dropping out and newly found ones added, and our detection signals widen over time. The step from August to September reflects changes on our side, both the domains we cover and the signals we detect Recharts with, rather than a surge in adoption.
Exits are easier to read. Since we began tracking Recharts on 16 March 2026, 1,427 domains have lost it on at least one hostname. When we re-checked on 12 October, about 130 of those still showed it on another hostname, so the real number of sites that stopped drawing Recharts charts is a little lower than the headline churn.
"Recharts gets roughly nine times ECharts' npm downloads but shows up on barely more public sites. That gap is the size of the dashboard economy we can't crawl." - Mehmet Suleyman, CEO at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales Signal: Size territories on the October count and ignore the month-on-month slope. A domain that newly appears in our data isn't necessarily a new build, so don't run "newly adopted Recharts" outreach off a first detection.
Who shows a chart in public
The matched base is small and young. 64.56% of companies with a size band have 1 to 10 employees and 90.34% have 50 or fewer. 53.31% were founded in 2020 or later, and 87.87% from 2010 on. Our reading is that for many of them the marketing site is part of the product's React codebase, which is why the chart is public at all. When we re-checked on 12 October, 4,584 of 5,673 live Recharts domains carried it on the main site or www.
The enterprise tail is tiny, 28 companies above 1,000 staff, and it uses Recharts on one public surface. Loblaw draws its TSX share-price chart with it on www.loblaw.ca. Cboe Global Markets plots the VIX and the S&P 500 on its homepage. The U.S. Treasury's Fiscal Data site uses it for deficit and spending charts, and New Jersey for state budget charts on reportcard.nj.gov. In our named list of 50, 27 rows are subdomains: status pages, ROI calculators, investor sites and portals. Recharts' own homepage lists shadcn/ui, Ahrefs and Alibaba's data products as users; I treat those as the project's references rather than as detections.
Sales Signal: At a large company, the Recharts surface tells you which team to call. An investor-relations chart belongs to IR or corporate communications; an ROI calculator to marketing operations; a status page to the platform or SRE team. Route accordingly instead of going to central IT.
Industry and geography
Software Development (13.01%), Technology, Information and Internet (9.31%) and IT Services (7.63%) make up 29.95% of matched companies. Finance is the surprise. Financial Services is second at 12.65%, and with Blockchain Services (2.04%) and Investment Management (1.79%) the finance slice reaches 16.48%. We opened the finance rows to see why, and the ones we checked point to public price charts: Cboe, the Moscow Exchange, BMA Capital's trading site, NAGA's share price and GSR's Bitcoin and Ethereum tickers all draw them with Recharts.
The United States leads with 691 matched companies, about 24% of the 2,923. India (268), the United Kingdom (146), Brazil (137) and Canada (84) follow, with the United Arab Emirates (39) ahead of Switzerland (31) and Singapore (29).
Sales Signal: For market-data vendors, a Recharts price chart on a public page is a working integration point: the company already pipes prices into a React front end. India and Brazil are the next-largest markets after the US and UK and worth a localised sequence.
Why this profile has no migration table
We tested every charting corridor and none passed. Libraries coexist on one site far more than they replace each other: today 63 domains run Recharts and Chart.js together, 27 run it with ApexCharts.js, 14 with Highcharts, 13 with ECharts and 8 with D3. The "switches" behind those pairs were a handful of domains each, and most domains that ever ran a pair still run both. Of the domains that lost Recharts, most no longer show it on any hostname, which fits rebuilds and closed sites as well as a change of library, and our data can't tell those apart.
"When a free charting library disappears from a site, a rewrite or a closed site is the likelier story than a switch. A handful of domains moving between two free libraries is noise, and we'd rather publish nothing than a fake trend." - Mehmet Suleyman, CEO at TechnologyChecker.io
Sales Signal: Don't build a "leaving Recharts" campaign from churn. If you sell an alternative, the pitch is to teams outgrowing SVG on large datasets, and you'll find them by product type, not by a drop in our data.
The stack around Recharts
The stack is close to uniform. Across the 5,628 live domains in our clean set, Tailwind CSS runs on 90.33%, Radix UI on 59.2% and shadcn/ui on 49.75%. One reason: shadcn/ui's chart component is built on Recharts and, by its own docs, doesn't wrap it. Next.js runs on 52.77% and React Router on 36.05%, while our direct React signal reads 10.27% because modern React builds leave little for it to find. Vercel hosts 32.85% and Amazon Web Services 10.86%; Firebase (4.1%), Netlify (3.82%) and Supabase (1.67%) are smaller.
Sales Signal: A Recharts detection is a precise brief for developer-tool and hiring pitches: React, often through Next.js, styled with Tailwind CSS and assembled from shadcn/ui. For analytics and data-API vendors, Vercel (32.85%) and Supabase are the natural integration angles.
How to use this list
Filter Recharts plus Tailwind CSS to isolate the shadcn-style codebases, then add a company size of 11 to 200 employees to move past solo builders. Read the detection URL before writing: a main-domain chart means the product team owns it, a status page or calculator means another team does.
A workable opener: "I saw the [chart] on [page] is drawn with Recharts, which usually means a React and Tailwind codebase with more charts behind the login. Here's how [product] fits that setup."

Frequently Asked Questions
Who uses Recharts?
Mostly small software and finance companies, plus large organisations that put one public chart on a page. Our October 2026 crawl finds a rendered Recharts chart on 5,602 live domains, and 64.56% of matched companies have 10 or fewer staff. Large users include Loblaw, whose homepage share-price chart uses it, Cboe Global Markets, the Moscow Exchange and the U.S. Treasury's Fiscal Data site.
How many customers does Recharts have?
None in the usual sense: Recharts is a free library under the MIT licence. Our October 2026 crawl finds a rendered Recharts chart on 5,602 live domains, 2,923 of them matched to a company. That's a floor, because charts behind a login are invisible to us. npm recorded 56,022,877 Recharts downloads in the week to 10 October 2026, a sign of how much use happens out of sight.
What is Recharts's market share?
1.15% of Charting & Data Visualization, 10th of the 55 technologies we track there, on 5,602 domains. Chart.js leads with 66.4% on 323,384 domains, followed by Highcharts (25,341), ApexCharts.js (23,328) and D3 (20,719). We count Recharts only where a chart is drawn on a page we can load, so the share describes public chart pages rather than every React app that installs it.
What are the best alternatives to Recharts?
Inside React, the common alternatives are Nivo, Visx and Chart.js through its React wrapper; outside React, ApexCharts.js, Apache ECharts and Highcharts, with D3 for fully custom charts. Chart.js, Highcharts, ApexCharts.js and D3 are all bigger in our crawl; ECharts is slightly smaller. We see no real switching away from Recharts: only 63 domains run it alongside Chart.js, and none of the pairs passed our migration checks.
Which countries use Recharts the most?
The United States, with 691 matched companies, then India (268), the United Kingdom (146), Brazil (137) and Canada (84). Germany (77) and France (75) are close behind, and the United Arab Emirates (39) places ahead of Switzerland and Singapore. These counts cover the 2,923 domains we matched to a company, so they show where the companies are based.
What size companies use Recharts?
Mostly very small ones. 64.56% of matched companies with a known size have 1 to 10 employees and 25.78% have 11 to 50, so 90.34% have 50 or fewer. Only 28 have more than 1,000 staff, and the ones we opened use it on one public page, such as Loblaw's share-price chart or the deficit and spending charts on the U.S. Treasury's Fiscal Data site.
How old are companies that use Recharts?
Young. Among matched companies with a known founding year, 53.31% were founded in 2020 or later and 34.56% in the 2010s, so 87.87% date from 2010 onwards. That suits a React library first published on npm in August 2015. The older tail is thin: 1.12% date from the 1980s and 0.56% from before 1960, including the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
What is the ideal customer profile for Recharts?
The ideal Recharts customer is: Company Size: 1-10 employees (64.56%), Location: United States, then India, UK and Brazil, Founded: 2020 or later (53.31%), Industry: Software, finance and IT services, Front-end Stack: React with Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui — based on our analysis of 2,923 enriched companies at TechnologyChecker.io.
What is Recharts used for?
Recharts draws line, bar, area, pie and other charts inside React apps, built from React components and rendered as SVG. On the public pages we crawl, the common uses are market and price charts, government statistics sites, ROI calculators and status-page response-time charts. Cboe's homepage, the Treasury's Fiscal Data site and Wistia's status page are three public examples we checked in October 2026.
What are Recharts based on?
React and SVG, with a light dependency on D3 submodules, according to the project's own site. You compose a chart from React components such as LineChart, XAxis and Tooltip, and it renders as SVG elements in the page. That SVG is what we detect: a chart surface element only Recharts draws. The library is released under the MIT licence and developed in the open on GitHub.
Is Recharts free to use?
Yes. Recharts is released under the MIT licence, so you can use it in commercial products without paying or asking permission, as long as the licence notice is kept. There's no paid tier and no vendor selling one. Our crawl counts 5,602 live domains drawing a Recharts chart, and 64.56% of the companies we matched to those domains have 10 or fewer staff.
What are the differences between ECharts and Recharts?
Recharts is React-only and builds charts from React components that render SVG. Apache ECharts works with any framework, is configured through an options object and can render to Canvas or SVG, which helps with large datasets. The footprints differ too: 90.33% of Recharts sites run Tailwind CSS, while ECharts' matched companies lean Chinese. Only 13 domains run both.
What is the latest version of Recharts?
Version 3.10.1 is the latest stable release on npm, published on 25 July 2026, and 3.11.0 has been in canary builds since September 2026. Recharts 3 changed several APIs, and shadcn/ui's chart component now uses Recharts v3, with its own notes for upgrading older chart code. Check the GitHub releases page before pinning a version, since canaries ship every few weeks.
Does shadcn/ui use Recharts?
Yes. shadcn/ui's chart component is built on Recharts and, by its own docs, doesn't wrap it: you write Recharts components and add shadcn's tooltip, legend and theming pieces where needed. The overlap shows in our data: 49.75% of live Recharts domains also run shadcn/ui and 59.2% run Radix UI. Tailwind CSS, which shadcn/ui is styled with, is on 90.33%.
Is Recharts better than Chart.js?
They suit different setups. Recharts is built for React and renders SVG elements you can style and inspect; Chart.js draws on a canvas and works with any framework, with wrappers for React. Chart.js is far more widespread in our crawl, 323,384 domains to 5,602. The two rarely meet: only 63 domains run both, so teams usually choose by framework rather than switching.
